Working with R&R for our month-of planning and florals was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
Rachel and Deja were always so responsive and easy to talk to, and we really appreciated being able to reach out for quick thoughts or hop on a call to talk things through when needed. It made decisions feel a lot less overwhelming and gave us much more confidence throughout the process.
By the time wedding week came around, everything just felt easy. They handled vendor coordination, kept everything moving, and created such a calm, steady environment that we were actually able to be present and enjoy the time with each other and our loved ones (which meant everything to us).
The florals were also incredible! They did both our welcome party and wedding day, and everything felt so thoughtful and completely aligned with our vision.
More than anything, we just felt taken care of the entire time. Even our guests commented on how seamless and well put together everything was.
We’re so grateful for Rachel and Deja and everything they did to make our day what it was. We truly couldn’t have imagined our wedding without them. It was such a joy working with them, and we couldn’t recommend them more! -

R&R Events… where do I even begin?
For starters, every bride must know that Rachel and her excellent team work magic. If you’re in between wedding planners and florists, I hope my review helps make what may seem like difficult decisions, the easiest. She is by far the best investment for your peace of mind and guest experience.
I am a type A individual and I knew that I needed someone who would not only understand and execute my vision with precision, but keep me conscious of my budget. She’s creative, well organized, and will treat you like the most precious client. Once our wedding had ended, both sets of parents agreed she was by far the best investment we made throughout the entire process.
Oh, and she continued to represent us weeks after our wedding while we were trying to negotiate final bills with vendors! You really can’t get any better than that. We love her and look forward to using her for events in the future. -

Wedding reception in under 12 weeks
We worked with Rachel to host a medium size Indian & Mexican bicultural reception party in downtown Austin for 125 guests which turned out so beautiful and fun for all. She made it a hassle free experience throughout the planning process and on our party day! We had over a dozen vendors and less than 12 weeks to plan our event, and she was available to help answer questions, advice, and provide guidance along the way- something I was worried I wouldn't get from a planner when I was searching for one. Rachel came highly recommended by a friend who had worked with her for her wedding, and we are so happy we went with her for our special celebration! She is also an amazing florist and made our floral arch which served as the main backdrop for guest photos, the party decor and the florals were even better than the vision photos we shared during our planning. We hope to host another party with Rachel's help in the future and couldn't recommend her enough! -

Rachel was so easy to work with! We had about 50 people for our wedding and cocktail party style reception. I gave Rachel my budget, some color ideas, and a general idea of where I wanted flower arrangements and let her run with it from there. What she came up with was absolutely perfect and beautiful. The spray on the arch piece was stunning - lots of guests took additional pictures there. After the reception, we took all the flowers home for a second reception we had at the house the following day then took many of the arrangements to a retirement home after that. Those that we kept held up for nearly a week!
Every time I reached out to Rachel with questions, she was always quick to respond and never left me wondering about anything. Her online system made payment easy with reminders for when the next payment was due. It really was all super easy and we couldn't have been happier with our choice.
PS - I wish I had good pictures to add! Several friends sent pics of the flowers from their phones because they loved them so much but the image size is too small to include with my review. :( -

Very happy and satisfied floral experience!
Rachel did an incredible job for us from the bridal flowers and boutonnieres to the venue floral arrangements. She took my daughter's vision for a unique event and came through on all accounts. Rachel was up front with costs and kept everything within our budget. She was also great at communicating with us during the entire process. I could not have been happier with the service she provided. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. -

Rachel was very responsive throughout the process. We didn't have a large budget, but she was attentive to our requests and was accommodating to changes we made at the end. She also has great taste. Being in the entertainment business, I meet and work with hundreds of vendors every year. When I say I have high standards, it’s because often times the people those vendors I work with (which I often don’t get to choose) directly impact MY ability to deliver an event or performance as smoothly as promised to my client.
I met Rachel of R&R Floral and Events at one such occasion where I was hired to provide a coordinated performance with the couple for their reception entrance. None of us had ever met face to face prior to this moment, but having Rachel there was incredibly helpful. She spoke WITH me, not AT me, and made the whole experience seamless with her excellent communication and attention to detail so that we could all have an easy experience.
Then when I found out she also did the flowers at this event, I was blown away! They were IMPECCABLE. Each arrangement had an artistry to it that didn’t look like your typical close spherical arrangement most other florists carried.
So when it came to designing the wedding of my own dreams, I got married in a garden rife with tropical plants and wild flowers. I wanted my bouquet to mimic that, as if I had just stroller through the garden and gathered my favorites.
I remembered Rachel’s arrangements at the event we had met, and reached out to see if she would only create my bouquet and sent some inspo pics.
What she created for me went above and beyond my expectations, and was the most affordable florist I had spoken to. That’s not why I chose Rachel—I had just submitted requests for multiple florist quotes in case she wasn’t available—but her skill, communication, clear grasp of my vision, and staying within my budget made her an easy choice.
And then I opted to pick up my own bouquet, which she was very flexible on. She event coordinated with my MOH on how to travel with it, care for it, and how I should hold it for best photo ops. I was blown away!
I will definitely be choosing Rachel again if I have an opportunity to have florals at any of my events. I’m only getting married once, and she made that day extra magical with her bouquet. 💖

RR Events = perfect wedding
Rachel was referred to us by a friend, and after talking to her, we immediately hired her for floral and wedding planning. She made the entire process a breeze.
Her floral proposal was so beautiful that we utilized it as a color palette for the entire wedding, and the outcome of the floral design was absolutely gorgeous.
Rachel was SO organized, communicative, responsible, and experienced that we knew she just had it throughout the entire process. I personally have difficulty trusting that people will get stuff done, and a hard time with being taken care of in any way, and Rachel just made us both feel so safe and cared for.
On our wedding day, she seemed to be everywhere all the time, steering the ship seamlessly and seemingly effortlessly (though I know it was SO much work.) I can't imagine my wedding day without her, I'd recommend her to anyone with zero reservations.
P.S. I feel like I probably owe her for a few therapy sessions when she talked me out of my anxiety spirals and set me on course for creating the wedding of OUR dreams, no one else's. -

Rachel and her team are incredibly responsive, effective, and just all around on top of it--but she does it with a big smile on her face and the utmost respect and understanding. We chose R&R for day-of coordination, with 2 months of lead-up help. She was helpful in ways I didn't know we needed. We had a 400 person wedding with two very chaotic and stubborn cultures, and we left our wedding drama-free because of how beautifully she and her team coordinated through the mayhem, all with a warm attitude. Would recommend R&R through and through, and whether she likes it or not, we now consider Rachel a friend. -

Wonderful experience!
Rachel is extremely creative and so easy to work with! I gave her a general idea of what I wanted and she pulled together gorgeous centerpieces that were beyond my expectations. Two weeks after our wedding and I'm still struggling to adequately describe how integral Rachel and R&R Events were to making our celebration FLAWLESS.
I could go on and on about the hard work, thoughtfulness and precision Rachel brought to our celebration, but let me put it this way: when you invest in a wedding coordinator, you're not just paying for someone's time on the day-of, you're investing in that person's breadth of expertise and track record in planning and executing memorable events. And we can absolutely say that Rachel and R&R Events were the best investment we made with our wedding budget.
Rachel is organized, professional and efficient. She is both your biggest cheerleader and your staunchest advocate. She is always cool as a cucumber and truly makes you feel like you're her #1 priority all the time, even while she's working on other events. And most importantly, she is an absolute pleasure to work with. I have so much confidence in Rachel, I began recommending R&R Events to friends who are getting married even before our wedding happened.
We engaged R&R Events for our ceremony and reception florals, as well as event coordination. We had an 11th hour change to our venue space that necessitated some quick thinking and creativity. Rachel very capably took all of this in stride, perfectly executing our vision for both ceremony and reception. I believe this is due in part to the seamless continuity of having R&R Events handle both florals and planning, but in larger part to Rachel's precision organization and flexibility. Rachel knows exactly what it takes to make an event run seamlessly for the couple, for the guests and for the vendors (all of whom said it was one of the best-executed events they had been part of). On the floral/decor side, I could not have asked for more. From sourcing hundreds of candles for our ceremony and reception, to designing the bouquet, cake flowers and centerpieces, every piece was gorgeous, thoughtfully designed and perfectly executed.
R&R Events is a five-star service at an absolutely accessible price. Run, don't walk, to book them for your wedding!

We had already done the bulk of our wedding planning on our own when we were recommended Rachel’s services by a friend. If we could do it all over, we would have loved to have worked with her from the start. She got us across the finish line and ensured that our wedding day was as stress free and fun as possible. There is nothing like the security of knowing you’re in capable hands. Of all of our wedding expenses, Rachel’s coordination package was absolutely the greatest value for cost, hands down. Rachel’s many skills (professional, warm communication, attention to detail, thinking three steps ahead, extensive experience) make her highly effective and a pleasure to work with. Rachel is amazing and such a valued vendor for our Wedding. Our big day would not have happened if it wasn't for Rachel's detail-eyed, organizational skills, and ability to run a successful event. Coming from an event planning background myself, I needed someone I trusted to deliver exceptional work and Rachel exceed all of my, and my husband's, expectations.
Rachel flew to another state to be our day of coordinator. On top of never having had the chance to see our venue and just going over the meticulous notes she took, she made sure that other vendors' staff (who were struggling to finish decorations and do it based on the agreed-upon design) were delivering. Our parents and bridal party, who saw Rachel work, all agreed our wedding wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for her. Beyond all of that, Rachel was incredible to work with, so professional and engaging and a delight to have been part of our day. -

Rachel with R&R Events treated my beach wedding as if it were her own. She handled vendors, decor, floral & literally ANYTHING that was for day of. The floral work she did was so amazing, and I couldn’t have imagined a more beautifully arranged arch for us to get married under. She was on top of every little detail that I hadn’t even thought up- even helping my little sister ensure she did what she needed to to become ordained to perform our ceremony. AND she even reviewed the ceremony itself with her to ensure it was to my liking (I still wanted to be surprised on the day of, but I wanted to ensure my little sister wasn’t sharing TOO much.) She took care of communicating with the vendors, and clearing up things I wasn’t okay with on my behalf, so I didn’t have to look like the bad guy…
The scheduled calls with her were perfect- she was organized and on top of it, so I didn’t have to be! I had a vision for what I wanted our intimate beach wedding to look like, and she nailed it with just me describing what I wanted. I especially appreciated how she encouraged me to not sugar coat feedback on floral designs, etc.
The day of was literally so stress free. I was not worried about ANYTHING. I was able to concentrate on getting ready because I knew Rachel was taking care of everything.
If there were any hiccups, which I found out there were a couple, minor ones after the fact, I had no idea when they were occurring because she handled them without involving me, which I appreciated!
I only have beautiful, awesome memories from my special day, and I 100% know it’s because I chose Rachel & R & R Events. -

Rachel was super easy and flexible to work with. She was able to read the crowd and move things along without allowing to much time in between activities which can make a wedding really drag on and become boring. Rachel was on top of things from start to finish and always ALWAYS had smile on her face. Event Planners are everywhere but amazing event planners make it look easy. Rachel definitely made the wedding planning seem easy which is great for someone who basically has to organize chaos. I first met Rachel when she hired me to photograph a SXSW event she was planning. We hit it off, so when I was planning my wedding I knew I wanted to hire Rachel to make my vision for the big day a reality. I primarily hired Rachel as our florist, but she also assisted me in planning other decor aspects of our wedding. She sent me amazing referrals for other vendors, who were all top-notch but also within our budget. As we planned my florals, I was so appreciative of Rachel's patience with my general lack of knowledge about flowers and understanding that I hired her because I trusted her -- and boy she did not disappoint! My flowers were absolutely stunning and show stoppers. She was so helpful setting up the day of and even returned to at the end of our event to pick up leftover flowers. Every aspect of working with Rachel was amazing and I can't recommend her enough! I'm looking forward to working with her in the event industry again in the future. -

The most professional vendor we hired for our wedding day
I'm so glad to finally be writing this review! We hired R&R Events for our wedding which took place in June 2019. Rachel did day of wedding coordination and our (GORGEOUS) florals. It's taken me this long to sit down and write this, not because I didn't want to or didn't know what to say, it's because I truly don't think words can do Rachel and R&R Events justice. I've decided the best way to fully understand her greatness is to experience it.
I would recommend her to ANY couple. There are some things I would change if I could go back and do our wedding again, but I would re-hire Rachel in a heart beat. In fact, I would have hired her to do even more services than what we chose.
If I could describe Rachel in one word, it would be PROFESSIONAL. Of all the vendors we hired for our wedding day, she was the most professional; she was honest, flexible, direct, excellent at communicating, and quick to respond! I appreciated this so much, and was grateful she had our back. Her professionalism gave me so much confidence and peace of mind.
Her next best trait is her delightful creativity. She has incredible taste and went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our wedding was perfect with her creative eye and talents! To make my groom's vintage cowboy dreams come true, she made custom shotgun shell boutonnieres for him and our groomsmen. She was full of so many great ideas and tips. My bouquet was something out of a dream.
Another one of her incredible traits is her overall attentiveness and attention to detail, which is critical for a successful wedding coordinator. She worked so hard on our wedding day and everyone noticed. We received multiple compliments on how nice, helpful, and present she was.
We can't thank Rachel of R&R Events enough. Our wedding would have not been the same without her. From the months of planning to the day of, I could relax knowing we were in her extremely capable hands. R&R Events for helped make our wedding dreams and visions become a reality. THANK YOU! -

Rachel was an amazing wedding planner -- we would have been lost without her. I originally booked her for just the wedding planner and ended up also booking her for the floral arrangements and I am SO glad I did --- it was one less vendor to coordinate and the flowers came out elegant, and simple and beautiful. My only regret is that we didn't book her at the very beginning of the process. We had tried to do it all on our own but quickly discovered we were basically working a full-time job after we already came home from a full day at work. It got to be way too stressful. We talked to three other planners and ended up going with Rachel because she wasn't part of a giant company and felt like she was more personable than the other ones we met with. We had no idea what we were doing but Rachel was amazing at guiding us along the way without ever getting frustrated or impatient. Rachel is responsive, personable and made everything stress-free. She also had great ideas and helped me brainstorm several times on the best thing to do (i.e. what linens go best with the flowers? What kind of dessert should we get? etc.). My mom also loved her - Rachel did an amazing job working with her too. Thank you, Rachel! -

Think about your dream wedding. Imagine it. If you want that vision to come to life and be a reality - HIRE RACHEL!
Rachel was the best day-of-coordinator I could have imagined working with. Her attention to detail is impeccable - not only on the night of the wedding, but in the month leading up to the big day. She made sure to establish communication and relationship with all of my vendors prior to the wedding, sending customized notes to take care of anything that might arise, which significantly helped to make sure that no detail or logistic was left out for the wedding. She made sure that I, as the anxious bride, felt calm and collected leading up to the wedding, and shielded my family and me from any issue that could have come up (to this day I still don't know if anything went awry thanks to Rachel!). There were also cultural elements to my wedding that do not occur in traditional weddings, and Rachel adapted to these ideas and visions so well, making sure to meticulously record every last detail to ensure that everything went off without a hitch. I also recommend Rachel for wedding floral services - she did an amazing job and created a magical reception hall that turned out better than all of my Pinterest dreams. All in all, our wedding day would not have been nearly as perfect without Rachel's care, direction and coordination! -

I recently had the opportunity to work with Rachel from R&R at a wedding at a residence. It was a great night. Events at residences are often more challenging simply because they aren't set up for an event like a venue is but you would never know that with Rachel. The event was smooth and seamless - and there were serious concerns about the weather. Rachel is everything you would want in a coordinator: excellent communication, in control, well informed, friendly, professional, courteous, and just a pleasure to work with and be around. I highly recommend her to any couples looking for coordination for their special day. She performs at a level that I have seen other coordinators need to have 2-3 more people. I look forward to working with her again.

Words cannot express my gratitude for Rachel. She is an incredible wedding coordinator and I am incredibly lucky to have had her help. Mariann Sent on 01/15/2018Rachel was our Partial Wedding Coordinator and she was amazing! My husband and I didn't think of all the things that were involved in planning a wedding, nor did we want to put much thought into the details. Our goal was to basically have a big party to celebrate our marriage and not how many table settings to have at each table. That's where Rachel stepped in and worked her magic. From our first meeting, she took notes and wrote down our thoughts and what was discussed-which was about 9 months before our ceremony. Those notes were referenced up to the wedding day and so helpful as a reminder to us. Additionally, she was great for recommendations for our other vendors. We had a few rough calls with potential DJs where nothing was working, so she jumped in and was able to connect us with multiple options within our price range. She was great with reviewing vendor contracts to ensure we received what we paid for on the wedding day, as well as double checking that we were getting exactly what we needed and not under- or over-ordering. Many of our vendors mentioned to us that they appreciated Rachel's partnership and how easy it was to work with her-her professionalism is top notch and I think it says something when you hear this from those who work within the industry.
Rachel provided a lot of great insight on how we should set up the venue and worked with the venue to finalize the layout. A couple weeks before the wedding, my husband and I had a mental freak out over our to-do list and after a few stressed-out texts from us with our questions, she jumped on the phone that night to talk through things and basically calmed us down. As for the day of the wedding, the best compliment that I can give is that to my husband and I, it seemed like everything ran perfectly-even though I know there is no way that it did!
P.S. We got married at a BBQ restaurant, sent off by lightsabers, and left on a boat. We didn't make it easy!
