  Thanks so much for making our day great. We loved how everything turned out. You were a perfect planner and were able to see our vision and make it happen. You were so helpful with finding vendors for our day. It all went off without a hitch. Ok, a hitch or two as expected, but you dealt with them like a pro (what no flower petals sent for the flower girl, you made it happen) (100 degree day? You made sure our cake didn’t fall over). You are great at what you do! Thanks for helping make our day so special.

  Organized, Professional Event Coordination

  Katie seamlessly made our wedding day happen. She was prompt, professional and we truly did not have to worry about anything. She managed our timeline and vendors with ease – even when our bus broke down she was there to find a solution in the heat of the moment! Everyone needs a Katie.

  Wouldn't Trade Her Work for the World!

  Hire this woman, you won't regret it!
  We found Katie after our catering tasting with the Phenomenal Grand Cru Catering. (Seriously- 3 months later and I still have people raving over the food).
  Instantly, we both knew she was something special. Little did we know that in just a few days after the tasting, we would hire her to coordinate the wedding. Best. Decision. We. Made. Katie is on it. She knows the business, the best vendors and is great when you need someone to vent to. She's a wonderful, personable and professional woman who will make sure all of your wedding dreams come true- she busted her tail the day of and made sure everything went accordingly, and if there was a hiccup- I had no idea, because it was fixed. Her bubbly personality made an impression on not only us, but also all of our guests. I am so glad our paths crossed. Her work meant the world to me and now, after the fact, her friendship is invaluable. I would give 10 stars if I could.

  Couldn't have asked for a better planner

  Katie was a phenomenal coordinator for us. As crazy as wedding planning and day of logistics can be, we were in great hands. We didn't have to worry about anything and planning process was smooth with her. She was great about communicating throughout the process. Bonus: Katie's connection with our caterer (Grand Cru) was an added benefit. It helped a ton to have a direct connection to the caterer for any add-on or last minute needs.

  Can’t explain just how amazing Katie is! From the moment we hired her, she went to bat for us immediately. All of the help she provided before the wedding took so much stress off of us. All of the help during the wedding was way above and beyond. She maintained the most professional and police mannerisms, even when faced with my crazy (and sometimes very rude) family and friends. She made every bit of our planning and day so spectacular! Would suggest her and her team to everyone!! She was even in on our surprise get away, AND made this beautiful dessert sign for our day!

She helped us figure out where we could save some money after my husband's surgery costs made it harder to pay for the wedding and always got back to emails no more than 24 hours later. She made the whole event run smoothly and let us focus on getting married rather than worry about any last minute issues.Her help turned our day into a well-oiled event and I couldn't be happier for her assistance with everything.

  Katie was our shining star for my wedding day couldnt of done the day as perfect and amazing with out her. Her dedication to my event was noticed not only by me and my new husband , but our friends and family. Having a planner was the best gift possible! She made every element of our day flawless. I would recommend. Her work and her love for the perfect wedding day to anyone! What a great great experience.

  Katie was more than a day-of planner. She was a steady source of ideas, resources and reassurance throughout the planning process. She knows the wedding industry and had an answer to my (infinite) questions. She is incredibly responsive and simply desires the best for every engaged couple. I am so grateful to have found her. I’m not sure how we would have pulled off our absolutely perfect, magical day without her! She even rose to the occasion during inclement weather with on and off again rain showers during our outdoor ceremony! She was truly a hero.

  I had a more than wonderful experience with Portland Event and Design. Katie was wonderful to work with and my wedding day was flawless thanks to her!! I had zero stress the day off the wedding and was able to relax knowing that my wedding was in her hands :) She has a calming yet fun way about her that makes her an awesome person to work with. I recommend her to everyone I know in hopes that they will have just as a flawless of a day as I had.
