I used Pop the Knot for my microwedding in DC (28 guests), and I could not be happier with the results. They paired me with a fabulous florist, officiant, and photographer who were talented, timely, and professional – all for an extremely reasonable rate. They made the whole planning process seamless (a huge plus for a bride who doesn't love event planning!) and helped me pull off a wedding day just as I had envisioned. -

Simple and stress free mini-mony
We decided to add a last minute ceremony to our wedding day, instead of doing the whole courthouse thing and I’m so glad we did. Michele’s team absolutely crushed it and we were able to have a beautiful and low-lift ceremony. From the photos it looks like an expensive/normal wedding!!! But we had to do little to no planning and basically just showed up and said I Do before enjoying a champagne toast with 30 of our closest friends and family. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something better than a courthouse/backyard ceremony but not as expensive/stressful as a full on wedding. We added photography and a guitarist to our package and I’m so happy we did!!! Amazing day. -

My husband and I had the most unbelievable wedding ever in New York City and it all began with Michele at Pop the Knot!
I reached out over a year ago and she answered each question, concern or change politely - day or night - and provided the most sound advice while lending her thoughtfulness in every interaction.
The entire day was perfect! My husband and I were married at Cop Cot in Central Park on a chilly November day. We traveled from our Airbnb by subway with our photographer (SASCHA REINKING) and videographer (NEW YORK WEDDING FILMS) and met our officiant (JACKIE REINKING) at the venue (all introduced to us through Michele!) Each vendor we booked via her recommendations included incredible humans that made our wedding absolutely magical and unforgettable. From my mind-blowing hair and makeup team (MISS HARLEQUIN HAIR & MAKEUP), my breath-taking bouquet (WMF EVENTS) that arrived promptly, fresh and smelled wonderfully to city permits and contracts to our guests having the time of their lives alongside us - I felt like a true queen marrying my king and it's because Michele helped piece it all together.
We thank Michele from the bottom of our hearts for helping us plan our dream wedding in only a year! Her patience, kindness and knowledge with every detail reassured me throughout planning to saying our 'I dos' that I made the greatest choice I could have made. We truly couldn't have done it without Michele and appreciate everything she did for us in becoming The Bronserts!

Amazing service
It was one of the most professional encounters we’ve ever had in our lives. Although not being physically present, Michele was on top of everything & made everything in her power to literally breeze into our marriage. Perfect recommendation of a photographer & an officiator (thanks again, Brittany& Rev.Bill), the itinerary set up perfectly & the extraordinary location in Milton Olive Park in Chicago. Contacting Michele was the best decision ever. Everyone kept asking me if I was stressing out about the wedding and I realized I wasn’t stressed at all because Michele did the majority of planning and coordinating!
The ceremony was FLAWLESS.
Both the officiant (Roger Lundblade) and photographer (Joanne Leung) were excellent!
If you want a headache free wedding experience, I definitely recommend Pop The Knot. -

Discovering Pop the Knot was what led to our decision of having a pop up wedding v. a whole wedding. Everything looked beautifully done AND IT WAS! Just our style and taste but with so much less stress. I highly recommend working with Pop the Knot to make your small wedding dreams come true. We traveled from Ohio to NYC to get married in Central Park (where we got engaged) on 10-10-2020 and we couldn't of asked for a better day. From the violinist to our beautiful pictures (Wandermore photography), it was perfect for US. Only thing my husband and I both 'regret' is not opting for a videographer too. We had such tunnel vision during the ceremony we would love to relive the moment from another angle. Our flowers were so fresh and looked even better than what I imagined. Seriously, it was all a 10/10. We can't thank Pop the Knot and their vendors enough. -

Stress-free wedding? You can do it.
The best thing we did was plan our wedding with Pop the Knot. I did my research before going with Michele. Pop the Knot offers great packages and made the wedding planning process so easy. Communication was excellent. There were never any issues, and it was easy to reschedule our date when NYC shut down due to COVID. We never felt any pressure from Michele to add on things we didn't want. She did an amazing job at organizing everything and making sure our one-hour wedding went as smoothly as possible. Our ceremony was as quick as we wanted it to be, so we can spend time taking photos.
We were lucky enough to get married at my dream venue, have Jackie as our officiant, Adena as our photographer, and our bouquet and boutonniere! I wanted a specific sunflower bouquet and Michele made it happen. A few weeks before the wedding, we also added a guitarist and it was a good thing we did. Otherwise, there would've been an uncomfortable silence. Sidebar: we had 30 people present (all wearing masks), so if you can, add the musician. You won’t regret it.
Our wedding day was perfect! Our family and friends did not know what to expect, and loved every minute of it! -

My husband and I had been dreading planning our wedding for over 5 years since we got engaged. Then in late 2019, we finally decided to plan something very small/intimate with our closest family/friends. Still I was dreading the whole planning process. Don’t get me wrong, I am a planner for many things and I usually don’t mind it, but something about wedding planning just scared me! I started doing some online searching and by chance found Pop The Knot. It was one of those things that sounded too good to be true, but I sent them an email anyways. Michele responded promptly and was very helpful answering all my questions. I had such good vibes with her, that I decided to book within a few days. And honestly, it was really meant to be in the end!
We booked everything in the late fall/early winter for a mid-March 2020 wedding. I cannot tell you how stress-free the planning process was for us. We were able to book our officiant, photographer and florist through Michele. It really helped that she narrowed down the options for us, but still gave us options to choose from, based on their availability of course. We chose our venue (a hotel) based on one of her packages and it was all coming together so nicely and smoothly. And then unfortunately, the pandemic hit us in early March and one week prior to our wedding, everything shutdown. It was a devastating time to say the least. However, I was so appreciative to have Michele there to help during that stressful time. She got in touch with all the vendors and helped me find a new date that worked for everyone so we could postpone the wedding. We ultimately decided on an August 2020 date. Our governor in Massachusetts finally allowed weddings again in July (with many restrictions, of course). I was so excited to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel after months of anxiety and emotional stress. Then we found out that the hotel could not host our wedding in August because they were still closed and not hosting events until further notice. This was another blow I just could not take. I wanted to have this wedding and move on! This is where Michele became my hero and saved me from the nightmare that didn’t seem to end. I told her that I wanted to keep my August date and find an alternative option. I was so stressed out trying to find other venues. She gave me some options from her packages, but then also recommended another option. She had another client who was in the same position as me and was able to rent a private yacht to host her wedding. She forwarded me the information in case I was interested. I did end up researching this option and let me tell you, it was the best recommendation she could have given me! I booked the yacht and Michele was able to confirm the vendors again to make sure they were OK with the new plan. We re-planned the entire wedding again in just under 3-4 weeks.
In the end, even after all the stress and frustration because of COVID, we had such an amazing and magical wedding. The vendors were an absolute dream to work with and Michele pretty much worked double without asking for more in return. She was just genuinely happy to know that she could help us. I could not be more appreciative and grateful!
I would absolutely recommend the Pop The Knot and Michele in a heartbeat! She does a phenomenal job and is super professional and supportive throughout the whole planning process. Michele, if I could do this all over again, I would choose you again. Thank you!!!!! -

I've had so many friends complain about the stress leading up to their big day, and other friends complain that they were sad they missed certain wedding traditions with their small ceremony / elopement and this was the best of both of those worlds. Michele worked to provide the absolute best vendors possible, organized everything and everyone. She made my dreams come true and my small wedding was absolutely perfect and stress free (at least as much as possible). If you're willing to go with the flow and want to be surprised and able to enjoy your own bug day, this is the way to go! -

We were supposed to have our large wedding in July but with the coronavirus we postponed it to next year. With less than 2 months away from our original wedding date, we decided to go for it with a more intimate ceremony. It was a bit of a run around at first because of the coronavirus limiting where we could get married but Michele figured it out and found us a location that was issuing permits. She arranged the flowers, violinist, photo/video, and officiant. All you had to do was show up. She made sure the details were there and that all questions were answered. It wasn’t the wedding we had planned for but given the current situation, it was perfect. I highly recommend Michele and Pop the Knot. She clearly knows what she’s doing. -

Absolutely stress free
So after months of back and forth about should we have a traditional wedding, even though we both have always talked about eloping in private, one night a week before our yearly trip to LA I said half jokingly "what if we just get married next week?" My now husband agreed that this was a great idea, and I researched elopement coordinators and am so thankful I found Michele! She was seriously SO attentive, even late night questions were answered. It made our day that much better. We had an intimate beach wedding in Malibu on a location she suggested and it was PERFECT. Even my inspiration pictures for my bouquet that I sent fooled me on my camera roll recently because my bouquet looked SO close to what I had sent her. I had literally zero stress going into this and cannot recommend her enough. I got my first pick of all of the vendors I picked from her list, even last second. Absolutely worth every penny! -

After three days of traditional wedding planning research, I wasn’t sure I wanted a wedding. Then I found Pop the Knot. The hardest part is choosing which venue you’d like to get married at. After we secured the venue, Pop the Knot sent lists of photographers, officiants and bouquets to choose from. Upon research, all choices provided had sparkling reviews. Michele was very easy to work with and very responsive. All the vendors the day of were prompt and professional. Best of all, I was able to get married at the Penthouse in New York City affordably and with no stress at all. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. -

When my husband and I decided to elope 2900 miles from our home in NJ, we contacted Pop the Knot after googling elopement planners. Michele was super responsive to all of my questions and our dream wedding was planned within a few weeks. The choices for Flowers, Officiants, Photographers and Videographers were amazing!!! Prior to our wedding day we received a detailed itinerary and contact info for all of our vendors to help ensure everything went smoothly--- and it did. Our day could not have been more perfect. Highly recommend!
I could not be happier with my experience working with Pop the Knot! Shortly after we got engaged I filled out the contact form on their website to get more info. Michele responded almost immediately and not long after that our wedding package (The Penthouse in NYC) was booked! Michele sent me a list of photographers, officiants, and florists to choose from, and beyond that there were almost no decisions to make on our end. Since our venue was a hotel we also wanted to have a reception there afterwards, and Michele helped plan that even though it was not part of our Pop the Knot package. Our wedding was beautiful and I would not have changed a thing about it. I highly recommend Pop the Knot for anyone looking to have a gorgeous, stress free, budget friendly wedding! -

Amazingly perfect!
Using Pop The Knot for our "just us" NYC wedding was THE BEST decision ever made. The planning was seamless, unhurried, and stress free. Marvin and Michelle coordinated everything for us, and, the week before our wedding, sent us an itinerary for review. They offered us choices on an officiant, photographer, and bouquet - and they were all fabulous!! The pricing couldn't have been more reasonable. Our bouquet was full and gorgeous, the officiant was so warm and joyful, and the photographer was a delight. This would have EASILY cost us 10x for a traditional wedding that wouldn't have been nearly as much fun. I can't stress enough how much I recommend Pop The Knot!! -

I can't say enough about Michele and her team. From beginning to end, she was perfection! I first started working with Michele about a year before I finally booked with Pop the Knot. Every question I asked she answered and gave great advice. She worked with us on customizing every part of the ceremony and making sure it was exactly what we envisioned. On the day of our wedding, her team was so helpful, attentive and caring. They really made us feel as though we were the only people in the world getting married that day. If I could do it all over I would 100% book with Pop the Knot again. It really is a bittersweet feeling not only did I get to work with Michele on one of the most important days of our lives but I left feeling as though we gained a friend. We knew we wanted to get married close to where we lived in Southern California and outdoors, but that was about it. After doing a little research, I stumbled upon Pop The Knot. We saw all of the beautiful venue options and decided on the beach. After submitting our request, Michele got back to us that day! We worked through a couple details, but Michele handled pretty much everything for us. The ceremony was absolutely perfect and the entire process was virtually stress free. Happy is such an understatement for how we felt about the ceremony and the planning process. We HIGHLY recommend Pop The Knot and can't wait until we receive the rest of our pictures from that day! This day couldn't have turned out any better for us and we will forever cherish every moment. :)

Being from the East Coast, it was important to us to have transparency in planning our wedding across the nation. Michele was an absolute pleasure to work with! She provided us with detailed (and I mean detailed!) information about the venue, including pictures, directions, ambience, etc. which was important since we couldn't check the venue beforehand. She communicated with our florist, officiant, and guitarist, explaining any our of concerns, our needs, and our expectations. When we had trouble with a vendor, Michele went above and beyond to figure out the issue and solve it within a matter of days. She truly exceeded our expectations and became a lifesaver during this process. We can honestly say that we were barely stressed planning our wedding because Michele took care of most of it! She is the greatest!!! And if you are planning a wedding in this area, I truly hope that you are lucky enough to have Michele as your wedding planner. An absolute gem!!!

On our own, we struggled with planning a small wedding in a big city with most pricing and venues meant for large lavish weddings. Her wedding packages were just what we were looking for when we wanted a beautiful city backdrop for an intimate wedding (25 guests). She coordinated all of our vendors for us and was incredibly prompt in responding to my questions and I appreciate how she really personalized the experience. We had absolutely nothing to stress about leading up to the wedding. Even the vendors she recommended to us were extremely professional. All we did was show up and get married. It was the most wonderful and experience and the most perfect day! We couldn't be happier and we wish we could do it with Pop the Knot all over again!

Michele is great! Overall, we had a really good experience and a very memorable wedding. There was one small hiccup in communication regarding the exact location of our ceremony (in a large park in Boston) that wasn’t addressed until a week or two before our wedding, but it worked out fine. We loved our officiant, our photos, and our flowers!
One thing I wouldn’t do again is hire a Day of Coordinator. While she did a great job of setting up at a nearby reception space for me (I upgraded to do this), she didn’t do much of anything during the actual ceremony and (to my knowledge) only arrived there from setting up down the street about 15 minutes prior to our actually ceremony. My best friend/essentially MOH told everyone where to stand for the ceremony, helped the photographer call over certain groups of people for photos, and then directed everyone to the location of our dinner after the ceremony. I was disappointed I paid the extra money to have the DOC do these things and she pretty much didn’t do any of it.
Overall, I would recommend Pop the Knot, especially for their affordability! -

Great experience until… I saw my flowers
My husband and I planned our wedding in less than a year during 2021. From the beginning, Michele was helpful and answered all of our questions. Overall, she helped us create a day that we'll never forget and we’re forever grateful for her. With Michele’s help, we added a violinist, upgraded the bouquet, and added floral arrangements to the aisle chairs. The violinist was great, as was the general ceremony set up, and officiant. This review is mostly about my unfortunate experience with the floral arrangements.
I would recommend Pop the Knot to anyone who is looking to plan a microwedding, however, I would suggest that couples really consider outsourcing their floral arrangements if they have a particular vision in mind that isn't part of the bouquet menu. I paid extra to upgrade my bouquet and add floral arrangements to our aisle chairs.
Unfortunately, the flower arrangements on the day of the wedding were nowhere near what I requested. Looking back, I don't know why I even bothered describing and sending photos of my dream floral arrangements.
A couple months before the wedding, I sent Michele photos of the bouquet arrangement and aisle decorations that I wanted (colors were yet to be decided). When I asked Michele if the florist could create my vision, the florist confirmed that they would be able to.
I wish that the florist was honest and just told me that they wouldn't be able to do what I requested and paid more money for. It would have saved me from a lot of disappointment on my wedding day.
In addition to the arrangement and aisle decorations being completely different from what I requested, the quality of the flowers were also subpar. I understand there is a shortage of flowers due to COVID, but I had flowers that were crushed in my bouquet before I even touched it. Everything was off. I asked for no greenery/leaves in the bouquet and there were a ton of filler leaves. I asked for a specific heart-shaped bouquet and I got a round bouquet.
Overall, I recommend Pop the Knot, but if you have a specific vision for the florals, I strongly recommend that you learn from my lesson and opt to go with a floral designer you can trust.

My wife and I bought a pop the knot package for our wedding.
Our photographer did not show up to the wedding because the event was not on the photographer’s calendar. While this is ultimately the photographer’s fault, it seems fair to expect for pop the knot to have a strong system to ensure services are delivered as they advertise. In our case, it seems they created a contract with vendors several months prior to our wedding, then sent the vendors a reminder email, but did nothing to confirm vendors were ready on the day of the wedding.
Pop the knot gave us a $500 refund; they seem to be truly sorry for what seems like an honest mistake.
