We cannot say enough amazing things about Aiyesha, Tony, and Dennishia from Polished Occasions. From start to finish, they brought our vision to life in the most beautiful and seamless way. Every single detail was thoughtfully planned and executed to perfection, and it truly showed. Our wedding day felt effortless because everything was run so smoothly and with such precision.
We have not stopped hearing from our guests about how incredible the day was. People are still talking about how beautiful everything looked and how well organized the entire event felt. We even got a few “this is the best wedding I’ve ever been too!”s. The little details made a huge impact, from the flowers surrounding the cake to the way the Whataburger was displayed for our late night bites. That is a true testament to this team’s talent, dedication, and professionalism.
Aiyesha, Tony, and Dennishia went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported, calm, and present throughout the entire process and especially on the wedding day. They handled everything behind the scenes with such care and expertise, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment.

Working with Aiyesha and the Polished Occasions team was truly one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. Our wedding took place this past November, and we began working with Polished Occasions in the summer of 2024. From the very beginning, Aiyesha was organized, attentive, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process.
We met regularly to review details, update tasks, and stay on track with the timeline she carefully created for us. Aiyesha and her team helped us select vendors, communicate with them, and even accompanied us to several appointments. Throughout the entire planning process they maintained constant communication with frequently checking in, providing updates, and always being readily available whenever we had questions, comments, or concerns.
Their guidance made the entire experience feel smooth and enjoyable. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, we felt at ease and were truly able to enjoy the process of planning our wedding. Whenever any inconvenience came up, Aiyesha and her team were quick to step in, advocate on our behalf, and find solutions.
As our wedding weekend approached, Aiyesha continuously reassured us and helped ease any anxieties. Our celebration was a full three-event weekend: a welcome dinner on Friday, a bridal shower on Saturday, and our wedding day on Sunday. Polished Occasions planned both the bridal shower and the wedding day, and they even helped coordinate details for the welcome dinner. Their presence and support across all three days meant so much to us.
The wedding day itself was executed to perfection. If there were any issues or last-minute adjustments, we were never made aware of them. Aiyesha established a clear chain of communication so that anything that needed attention was handled seamlessly without disturbing us. She made sure we were fed, relaxed, and able to fully enjoy every moment.
The venue came together beautifully, the timeline ran smoothly, and everything felt organized and stress-free. We never once felt rushed or overwhelmed. Aiyesha kept us, our wedding party, and all of our vendors perfectly on schedule, ensuring the entire day flowed exactly as planned.
All in all, Polished Occasions helped make our wedding weekend unforgettable. We are so grateful for Aiyesha and her incredible team, and we will absolutely continue recommending their services to anyone looking for a dedicated and talented wedding planner. Dream Wedding Executed To Perfection
I wish I had the words to explain to Aiyesha and Tony what an exceptional job of PERFECTION they both executed on my dream wedding day. From our first conversation to now, Aiyesha has exulted a level of EXCELLENCE in every single area of planning. Hands down, we orchestrated a production of so many details/vendors and she did not miss a thing. These two went so far above and beyond my expectations through the entire planning process. My wedding day was the most PERFECT day ever. This team was never not available. I received a response to anything almost immediately. The level of comfort for a bride is invested in their team. Aiyesha is personable and sincere. She never lost her cool and she never made me feel concerned about anything. I could definitely write a book about this team. Where do I begin?? Aiyesha and her team were amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better “day of” event team as a bride planning a Houston wedding from Japan. My only regret is that we didn’t find/book Polished Occasions sooner. I would’ve loved to work with her from the design phase because I feel like we clicked from our first call. It was a big risk starting over with a new team a little over a month before our wedding, and every review and social media post from/about Polished Occasions by Aiyesha was five-star. We are so glad we took the leap! Every single interaction with Aiyesha leading up to our wedding day put us at ease and got us excited to celebrate our love. She was so professional and transparent about her services and what she needed from us. I always felt like she had our back and trusted our vision of the day and that was a huge contrast to the planner we had originally started this process with. The day of—it was perfect!! I am still getting compliments about our planner and her team who were “on it”, “so sweet”, and “so much fun”. I can’t thank you enough for executing our perfect day. Our exit was a complete blur, but I wasn’t worried because I knew Polished Occasions would make sure everything was taken care of. I can’t recommend them enough for your wedding! -

Planing a wedding can be stressful and Aiyesha made the process seamless, the stress lifted, and the wedding day amazing! Everyone has been raving about how my planner was “On her stuff” lol! I cannot say this enough if you are planning a wedding Polished Occasions is the way to go! I would recommend her to anyone for any event whether big or small because they will execute every vision and works within the budget! We hired Aiyesha back in 2019 when our original wedding date was set for 2020. Two postponements later, Aiyesha and her team made our wedding day run as smooth as possible. My husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day because Aiyesha and her team made sure we kept to our timeline. We had a few hiccups a with our venue the week of the wedding and Aiyesha handled the situation and made sure we were as stress-free as possible. Even our family members and guests were impressed with her services, timeliness, and organization of the wedding. I only purchased a partial planning plan which included day of wedding coordination. I received more information than I expected, and Aiyesha was always available to help me with the decor design and theme for my wedding. What a spectacularly relaxed day! My wedding day was amazing due to Aiyesha and her amazing crew at Polished Occassions! The day was timely, any issues were handled without me knowing, and it was beautiful! My husband and I hada few hiccups along the way due to venues closing and COVID, but Aiyesha got us down the aisle when God said it was time. The vendors we worked with and relationships built over these past couple of years are solid and I’ll be using Polished Occassions for any other events in the future. -

I have no words to express my gratitude towards Ayeisha and the polished occasions team. Hiring her was absolutely the best decision I made planning our wedding.
Since the day that I reached out to Ayeisha she knew exactly what I wanted and made sure that I had a realistic budget. She was incredibly knowledgeable about every venue in Houston I was interested in and offered vendors that understood my vision and theme. Not only is she amazing but her team is top of the line. Every month they sent a list of to-dos and answered every question and concern I had.
Like in every wedding, things are bound to go wrong. However, my wedding day was absolutely perfect. I heard of all the horror stories until after I came back from my honeymoon. Ayeisha made sure that I had the most magical day, from the food, decor and even made sure I had food to go back to my hotel room after the party. I know this sounds great but also expensive right? Well, not with Polished Ocassions! Ayeisha has the best wedding planning deals in Houston with the most professional service you could ask for. Im so thankful for Aiyesha and her wonderful staff! I booked her for my baby shower. My daughter decided she wanted to make her arrival the week before her shower so Aiyesha and her staff coordinated the reschedule of my event while I was in the hospital. It was such a blessing to not have to worry about the shower and just concentrate on the birth of my little baby girl! The staff maintained clear and prompt communication and remained extremely professional when I was super stressed. I was blown away at how beautiful the event was. She has great insight if you need help coming up with the design of the wedding and has has a great list of vendors to work with. Everyone she provided was very professional. I booked Aiyesha for my day of coordination services & she completely exceeded my expectations. I knew from the 1st meeting she would be great, I didn't know she would go above "AND BEYOND" like she did. She is one of the most gracious, warmest persons I have encountered. Her professionalism is profoundly unmatched. I read all reviews before booking and they are ALL true. I will recommend her and her team 1000x over & over! They were all professional and presented themselves well. Amy of your team is SUPER AS WELL. I could really go into deep details but everything was beautifully executed. Aiyesha deserves every good word spoken of her, from playing seamstress when of my bridesmaids dress ripped (How convenient) advisor, to listening ears when I yapped about bridal party annoyances... you are THE BEST. The hubby can't stop talking about how impressed he is with her services. (& he's not easily impressed). There was no spot left unscathed. The elders even spoke how well put together my wedding was. I have no regrets booking this wonderful woman. I only wish I could have let her plan my entire wedding & that I could keep her in my pocket as a lifelong friend, advisor, and seamstress! :-) -

It took me a little while to write my review as I had mixed emotions. I was super excited to begin the wedding planning journey and initially I felt very supported. Once it got closer to the wedding, I felt like I was initiating contact more and felt like a number, due to all of the events they had prior to my wedding. At times, I honestly felt like I was a n inconvenient or burdensome by the responses received but being that this was my first and only wedding, I wanted things to go as planned. As my wedding approached, some details went overlooked which caused me to have to pay hundreds of dollars extra the week of my wedding: not to mention details that I specifically requested regarding my wedding party line up was not in height order as I specifically requested prior to rehearsal. The day of I was told that switching the lineup that last minute would be difficult as multiple vendors had the lineup and would cause confusion with the calling out of names when introductions were held. I understand that weddings aren’t going to be perfect. I was just hoping that hiring a planner would feel more like they work for me instead of me working for them. I do not feel I got the attention I needed during the weeks leading up to my wedding due to other events scheduled. IT wasn’t until the week of my wedding that I felt of importance and like the details were under review. My anxiety was skyrocketing especially when my planner attended my venue meeting with me and had my rehearsal scheduled (on the wedding timeline) on the wedding day. This was also something I brought to her attention. I was fortunate to get great vendors and Aiyesha and her staff definitely have a great system. At times month leading up to the wedding, when I felt stressed, I was calmed down. Other times, the patience ran out and I could tell. I think customer service would be the only thing I would say could improve. I will say that my wedding absolutely gorgeous and my wedding day went very smoothly. Aiyesha and her staff made sure I was under no stress and they handled everything on the wedding day. I’d like to reiterate. The day of my wedding, I legit had no worries! That meant a lot to me but I would be remised if I didn’t mention the emotions I felt leading up to the day. I am grateful for the experience.
