amazing venue and wonderful staff
My fiancee and I are getting married at Pinecrest Chalet in October, and our experience with them has been wonderful. Tessi is the point person at the venue, and she has been so accommodating, helpful, and gracious. Love, love, love
Everyone was in awe of this venue, it was our dream venue. The staff was incredibly helpful in making our vision come to life. Perfect venue
The chalet was very helpful and always responded within a day or two to any emails I sent. The cabins onsite were nice and cozy. They had the tent already set up in case it was necessary, but it was not. The lights were perfect. We had the reception down by the little creek and used the big tree table as the head table. They helped set up the tables and chairs the day before and lit the three fire pits at 7, when we requested. It got quite chilly, so the fires were great. When you use the Chalet, you have to fill all the cabins and RV spots. We didn’t have anyone with RVs, so they were rented to the public.The chalet was very helpful and always responded within a day or two to any emails I sent. The cabins onsite were nice and cozy. From the very beginning, Tessi was quick to respond to emails, friendly and professional. They offer for you to stay on site to truly experience the property, so we took them up on their offer in January and stayed in Muir. The Chalet was a magical winter wonderland and the cabin was so cozy! We loved hanging out with Tessi and Quinn and knew we had made the right choice to have our wedding there.
The months leading up to the wedding, I was a pain in the ass. I'm super type A so I wanted to make sure all the details were taken care of. The Chalet is a pretty bare bones venue in that you have to bring in all your vendors as well as rentals, so there's a bit more coordination versus venues where everything is included. I was constantly asking Tessi questions about how everything would work together to ensure that it would all run smoothly, and again she was friendly, patient and helpful through it all. I never had a hard time getting ahold of her and she never made me feel like a bother.
As soon as we arrived the Thursday before our wedding, Tessi was immediately on it and ready to help with anything, as well as Dan (the amazing maintenance guy) who was everywhere the whole weekend and helped us out so much. Tessi even offered to drop off the welcome bags for Saturday arrivals since she knew we'd all be busy that day. The day of the wedding, everything was perfect. We had Matt bartend for us and he was wonderful, he was so fun and got along with everyone perfectly. Tessi and Dan were always around ready to help, and at the end of the night they built a bonfire for us and we sat with our friends around the fire until 2am.
The next morning, Tessi was setting up tablecloths and helping to get the tent ready for breakfast, which was totally above and beyond. When we left on Monday, they let us know we were always welcome back and they couldn't wait to see us again. Pinecrest chalet
Such a beautiful venue! They were very kind, helpful, and understanding. You do have to set up and take down yourself and they are very hands off. Wedding venue
Venue was beautiful. Tessi was wonderful and really worked with us to make it perfect. The other person at the front desk was not fun to work with. New owners absent, nobody in office, grounds not kept up heaters don’t work
Booked a wedding one year in advance. Did multiple site visits, communicated needs and upon arrival nothing was done, wedding area not setup and dirty, stuff everywhere and nobody around to help.
Vendors in the area not happy and complaining as well. One of my vendors will no longer participate with a Pinecrest event. Now that says a lot.
Staff on-site did there best but 2-3 people can’t get cabins ready and have the grounds done too. Good thing we brought the wedding party up early with us. Sad thing is we all worked instead of sitting back and enjoying the venue…

Change in ownership has ruined this venue
Raising a red flag on wedding reservations. I visited in early April 2021 and was given a wedding date in June 2022. Everything was fine, and it seemed like a great place for a wedding.
Since then I have been unable to get a hold of any responsible person to discuss contract terms and deposit. The phones have been "out" for weeks and when we do get through, we're given a different story every time and have even been hung up on a few times.
