    Piece of cake makes wonderful baked goods. The owner was more then helpful in getting the perfect cake ordered for my weeding. When I called the day before asking to see the cake the night before the wedding they were more then happy to have it ready for me to take a peek at.

    I've been a customer before and I will be a customer again. I love their cakes!

    I have been a long-time customer of Piece of Cake and have always been very pleased with their services. I have a severe dairy allergy so I had to have a vegan cake for my wedding. We went with three different flavors for each layer and it turned out great! No one even noticed it was a vegan cake which made me smile ; ) It was tasty and absolutely beautiful. Thanks again!!

    We did not have a traditional wedding cake, instead we went for a gluten free "sheet" cake. It had four different layers and tasted great. Several of our wedding guest have Celiacs, so we decided just to do one gluten free cake. Most people didn't even know it was GF. Also was a good value for what we got!

    I emailed Piece of Cake with one week before our event, which was the day after Thanksgiving. Marilyn called me within 30 minutes of my email. I had emailed 2 other bakers earlier, but had not heard from them. Marilyn talked me through all the choices I needed to make. Once I arrived in town I visited the bakery to be sure I understood the details. They were very helpful! The cake arrived at the venue, it looked just as described. It tasted great! I am grateful for their services.

    Beautiful and delicious cake. We did gluten free and dairy free. Fun atmosphere at the shop but drops a star for professionalism h ere but i would give them an additional star for a creative environment. They didn't like the flavor we chose of a cake as it was "unique" but they agreed to do it anyway and it was our favorite. I wish they had smaller cakes available.

    We had them cater a dessert buffet for our wedding - it was Lovely! We had lemon and raspberry bars, chocolate bars, and cookies. Plus chocolate covered strawberries, cherries and mandarin oranges - which were delicious! Not only was everything fresh and extremely delicious, but they came and set up and the display was amazing looking! They really knew how to show off their food and make it look really good, but also be easy to get to. We did have to return their big platters to them after the wedding.
    The price tag was high, but I feel like we got what we paid for.

    My husband and I LOVE everything about Piece of Cake Bakery, which is why we chose them for our wedding cake. We wanted to have a cake topper only for cost purposes, and they did an excellent job in giving us a great tasting cake at a good price. My one and only complaint is that we wanted a specific size, but the variety we ordered does not come in that size. This would not have been a big deal, had it not been the week of the wedding when we were notified of this. I understand selling different varieties of cakes (regular, vegan, gluten free, etc.) in different forms, I just wish we would have known from the order placement that we needed to buy the larger, more expensive one.

    All in all, the cake looked very good and tasted just as we had hoped: perfect!
    We would highly recommend Piece of Cake for ANY reason of celebration, and our personal favorite is Vegan Red Velvet. We are not vegan, but the cake is to die for!

    YUMMY! Usually wedding cakes are dry but this cake was super moist and delicious. We had an outdoor wedding on an unusually hot day and I was surprised and happy at how well the cake stood up under such warm conditions. Piece of Cake is great too because they also make vegan and gluten free cakes. The only thing I didn't really like is that they don't have a very standard process for coming in and trying cake samples, so I never really felt like we got a chance to try everything that was available... just the stuff that was in front case that day.

    This bakery has the most unique cakes! We chose one vegan recipe that was better than all the others. And the carrot cake is to die for! The shop is a little funky and cluttered, and our order was written on a blank piece of paper, but they came through and had everything ready. It was gorgeous and very tasty. We got lots of compliments on it.

    The cake tasted amazing, so if you're looking for tasty cake, this is the place. Classic cake designs, so if you're going for traditional this is just fine, though there was nothing very fancy. The people weren't terribly friendly, but they got the job done.

    We have ordered from Piece of Cake bakery at least twice a year for other celebratory occasions for the last 8 years. They certainly have the best vegan cakes in the area. We went into Piece of Cake for cake tasting and quotes for a wedding cake and were astonished at the cost of $6.00 per serving for a basic cake just because we said it was for a wedding. We have always purchased the Basic cake for $50.00 each and it is a 9 inch double or triple layer cake. For our wedding cake we wanted essentially the same thing they make every day and have purchased many times before aside from the frosting being even more basic than the everyday cake they make. Since the owner refused to charge the same price as usual for a basic cake we decided to purchase the cake through a third party vendor that sells Piece of Cake Bakery cakes. In this way we were able to purchase the cake for the same price as usual and that we have always paid before. We bought 2 of the same cakes with basic frosting that was our wedding colors. The flavor of the cake we got was not correct. However, we didn't know this until we cut into it the day of our wedding. When I called the owner to address this issue she was very combative and did not want to help us at all. All I wanted was for Marilyn (the owner) to make it right and provide us with a cake of the right flavor in which we ordered. Whatever flavor the cake was that was provided it was terrible. Marilyn told us that since we purchased it through the "third party" that sells thier cakes that I would have to take it up with them. Well, my spouse also works for this third party so we know we ordered the right thing and that all should have been correct. It was Piece of Cake that needed to make this right and they refused. As good as the product is we will never buy from this company again! The owner seems to be greedy and VERY difficult to work with.
