Words cannot describe how pleased we were with our wedding at PGA. Nickole and her team were extremely responsive, creative, and helpful throughout the entire planning process and we knew it would be a great weekend. But they absolutely exceeded all expectations. Their staff could not have been kinder or more attentive to us, our parents, and all of our guests all weekend long. The amenities were so fun and well-organized, the rooms were beautiful and clean, the food was OUTSTANDING - when do you ever hear compliments about a wedding salad!?! Just an absolutely perfect weekend. Getting married at PGA was the best decision we ever made and I am eternally grateful for the beautiful memories us, our families, and friends made throughout the weekend.

This review is mostly for Kimmie as she went above and beyond in terms of service. My husband and I decided on getting married at the beautiful PGA resort prior to the pandemic. They were undergoing massive renovations and Kimmie kept us posted every step of the way. One day, I received a phone call from Kimmie telling us that the renovations would be happening over our wedding day. I could hear the absolute pain in her voice in telling me this news. She gave me a moment to process what she just told me and then immediately began discussing the plan. She had contacted local venues to find availability for my wedding date and kept in mind our style and preferences. Her recommendation led us to our new venue and the transition was seamless. I am so thankful for her sympathy and help. She even texted me on my wedding day with well wishes. Kimmie, you are the best!

We were thrilled with our wedding day, but PGA truly is beautiful and a great way to keep your family together and on-site. You get the feel of a destination wedding without the airfare (for those of us who are lucky to live in Florida). We can’t wait to visit when renovations are done!

The PGA venue was love at first sight! And their staff, service, and execution of everything did not disappoint. Kimmie at PGA is an angel! She is knowledgable, patient, thoughtful, organized, and such an essential piece to the success of our special day! Even with the challenges of COVID-19, everyone at PGA made our wedding weekend one we will never forget. I am eternally grateful for everyone at PGA and I cannot wait to go back for another visit!

Kimmie was absolutely amazing throughout our wedding planning process. Not only was she available and willing to help answer every question we had, but she also did so in such a way that made us feel like we weren't just another customer. Her warmth, friendliness, and everlasting positivity were exactly what we needed in a time when there was so much uncertainty in the world. I cannot say enough good things about PGA and Kimmie. The staff were great, super nice and kindly engaged with our guests. The food was amazing. Wedding day was perfect, exceeded my expectations for sure. Kimmie was always there for me when i needed her and was helpful in every aspect. I will forever recommend anyone to have there wedding here, it's beautiful! Already can't wait to come back here for weekend getaways!

We visited several venues during our search for the best location for our wedding, and PGA National Resort stood out as our #1 choice! With its gorgeous scenery and countless amenities, PGA is an all-in-one wedding venue! During our perfect wedding weekend at PGA, we enjoyed a spacious bridal suite, pool, spa, wedding ceremony under the pavilion (with amazing views of the golf course) and a reception in the beautiful British Ballroom. What more could we ask for?!
From the start, the staff was awesome! They gave us a thorough tour of the stunning grounds and walked us through the ceremony/reception options. The wedding packages and pricing were clearly listed - no surprises! Our wedding package included a private food-tasting experience to help with our menu selection. We chose the duet entrée, and it was the most delicious dinner ever! Kudos to the catering staff - our guests were filled with compliments!
The real ‘gem’ in our wedding experience at PGA was Kimberly ‘Kimmie’ Amezcua! We can’t praise and thank her enough for her professionalism, kindness and dedication! We were sad that we had to postpone our April wedding to October, but Kimmie went completely out of her way to make the process seamless. She is sweet and compassionate, and she patiently worked with us as we navigated through the changes needed to keep our guests safe and healthy. She quickly responded to every email, phone call, request, change and concern.
Kimmie truly went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend special! She handled every detail of our wedding day with tons of positivity, eagerness and smiles. We were extremely impressed with how she coordinated with our vendors to ensure that our ceremony and reception were absolutely amazing! We are so grateful for our wedding experience with Kimmie and PGA! It was everything we hoped for...and more!

Where to begin??
I was so stressed about the details of the wedding things I was going to bring, and to make sure they were in the right place. I have been stressed about it every day up until a day prior to the wedding day, when I got to the Resort, and I met with our venue coordinator, Kimmie. In my mind I was already ready to explain to her where every single thing was going to go, but without me explaining anything, she grabbed every little thing with such confidence and at that point I knew I could breathe again! And I did. I wasn’t worried anymore. I was relieved. I knew she really had this. And she did have this! With my crappy small post-its notes, she managed to put every detail and everything better than I could have described in person or wanted to or would have done myself. I thank Kimmie for every little detail I know she worked so hard to accomplish. From coordinating everyone to enter, to speaking to the DJ about the songs, to every little thing really! That day didn’t go stressful at all, just went smooth. And we thank Kimmie, and PGA for everything!! We couldn’t have picked a better venue/place, and we couldn’t have had a better coordinator! From beginning to end communication was amazing with Kimmie! Also, for venue, PGA is the perfect place for nice couple photos, as the outside pool at the Spa is beautiful, and the bridge at PGA, and the whole greenery scenery really, will make for amazing photos!! 💗💗💗💗 We are sooo grateful and thankful we got PGA to host our special day, and we’re even more thankful we got an amazing coordinator. Words will never be enough on how thankful we are! ❤️

We had our Daughters wedding at PGA on 09/19/2020, Kimmie was our guide throughout the planning and up to the BIG event...Amazing doesn't even describe her attention to detail, making sure everything was perfect and also managing to be attentive to the my daughters (the Brides) needs...The day and evening couldn't have been more beautiful or gone more smoothly...I HIGHLY recommend PGA, Kimmie & her team...I honestly cant say enough!

We just had our wedding at PGA National Resort and Spa and it was the best experience ever, even through a pandemic and a tropical storm! Kimmie, the senior wedding coordinator, is SO sweet and did everything possible to make sure our wedding was absolutely perfect! It was everything I have dreamt of and more. She even made the wedding planning a peaceful experience. We had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner there Friday night which couldn’t have been nicer! Then the whole wedding day was so smooth from getting ready with the girls in the room to the ceremony to the very end of the reception. The resort is beautiful, the staff is so friendly and helpful, the food is amazing, etc, etc. Everyone went above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I couldn’t have asked or dreamt of a better day and weekend. We made memories there that we will cherish forever and can’t wait to go back for anniversaries! Thank you Kimmie and the rest of the staff at PGA National for making our dream wedding come true! We love you!!!

I want to start off by saying that if you are having any doubts about choosing PGA as your venue, STOP DOUBTING and choose them! There are no words to truly describe how grateful I am for Kimmie and everyone else at PGA National for making my dream wedding come true. My husband and I originally chose a different venue for our wedding on June 12, 2020, but due to COVID, this venue cancelled on us TWO WEEKS before our date. We were crushed, and since we were planning this as a destination wedding we had no idea how to change things around from far away. We had actually toured PGA when we were originally looking at venues and fell in love with Kimmie right away. When we decided on the other venue for no other reason than to have a beach, I told Kimmie that I wish I could take her with us because she was so great. Well, we got our wish of having her as our coordinator because PGA was the only venue around who was able to accommodate our last minute request! Kimmie and her team worked tirelessly, answered our millions of questions as soon as we asked and replanned our entire wedding in less than a week! I completely regret not choosing this venue from the beginning. Kimmie and the rest of the staff treated us and our guests as VIPs for the entire wedding weekend. From room upgrades, to taking care of our wedding items and card box to a wedding night goodie bag. There were surprises and gifts that I would never expect. Kimmie is truly the most generous and caring person and I have no doubt that she will take care of every bride and treat you like family as she did with us. Thank you Kimmie and everyone at PGA, you are the absolute best!!

Kimmie could not have been more accommodating working with my client. They were from New York and she made sure that their every request was executed. The entire staff throughout the entire process made sure that every guest had an amazing experience, including many different food allergies. I recommend PGA for any type of event.

The food was perfect, I had so many guests say it was the best food they have ever had at such a huge event/ wedding.
The venue was stunning and so magical.
The room I stayed in was so fancy and amazing way to end the night.
Everything went perfectly which brings me to one of the best parts of my day. Kimmie was the best, from months before down to the day of. Reassuring me things would be fine, helping me with details, I probably emailed her 30 times and she always replied quickly and kindly. I didn’t even realize 5 mins before my ceremony it was raining because she was so collected and calm. I’m truly grateful for her and Arianna. Lots of pretty venues in Florida but the people, venue, food, resort and spa make this stand above the rest.

I didn’t have my wedding here, although it would have been perfect because it’s only a couple of miles from home! I did spend a prewedding spa day at the resort and I’m so glad I did! I was initially going to stick to a relaxing pedicure because my nails are nearly always naked, but the staff reminded me how many people would be asking to see my hand after the ceremony. It sounds ridiculous but with all the other planning duties, I had completely skied this fact. I told my technician I wanted something clean and subtle, what I got was a beautiful white on white French manicure that people complimented nearly as much as my rings!

I would like to thank Nickole D’Angelo, Caitlin, Arianna, and the entire staff at PGA National Resort and Spa for making my wedding day the absolute best day of my life thus far. No other venue comes close in my eyes. Nickole was such a blessing to us during our wedding planning process. Nickole made sure to put all our fears to rest and ensured we had a smooth transition from one event to the next. Nickole and her team made sure that there were no hiccups throughout the event, she made sure to work within our budget and outline clearly what was happening every step of the way. Every time I left a meeting with Nickole, I left feeling relieved and as though a weight had been lifted. They kept up with us and listened to everything we wanted for our day. I can say with full honesty, Nickole promised us excellence and she damn well delivered.

Not only were the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces absolutely gorgeous and scenic, but the food was DELICIOUS! All our wedding guests kept raving about the sushi bar action station, as well as, the Salmon and Filet Mignon dual-entree. Moreover, the entire staff at PGA National Resort and Spa were helpful, prompt and warm throughout our wedding and throughout our stay at the hotel. We experienced absolute luxury and cannot wait to come back for our anniversary next year!

Again, I want to thank our catering manager and wedding wizard, Nickole D’Angelo, her helpful staff, Caitlin Cronin and Arianna Barletta, our server Angel from the Palm Terrace restaurant, Clarice at the front desk, and our housekeeper Clemence for their wonderful service. We truly appreciate everything that was done for us during our wedding and after.

PGA National was absolutely amazing! Our wedding coordinator and team was the best! They answered ALL my questions, worked with me to stay within budget and went above and beyond to make sure all the details were correct. They were such a pleasure to work with during the entire process. All of our food options were absolutely delicious and our guests raved about everything!

We contracted the PGA National as our venue and I am so glad we did. The outdoor space made for a beautiful intimate ceremony and the food was well presented and so very delicious. Kimmie and Caitlin made our experience so easy and effortless and I am so glad I had them by my side! Communication and responsiveness was always within the hour and they took care of everything. Once they knew my vision and the menu was picked we didn't worry about anything else. They were always super flexible and anticipated our needs before we even had a chance to think. The day off, they checked on me in the morning while I got ready and then we seamlessly transitioned from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. I almost wanted a headset so I could feel part a of the team! They made it so easy to be a breezy bride and I recommend them to anyone looking for a venue =)

Megan is awesome! She has a great personality, is very detail oriented, and despite the amount of people she works with at a time, you always feel like her most important client. She is very attentive and what I really like about working with Megan is that she always listens and tries to understand what YOU want first, and then what she can do to accommodate. She is up front and honest if she can't do something, but will always provide an alternative to help. You would be lucky to have her if she is the one to help you on your special day :)

PGA National helped to ensure my husband and I got the wedding we dreamed of! I was nervous when my original catering manager, one of the main reasons we chose PGA, left the company, but she promised Nickole would keep our wedding on track, and Nickole delivered on that promise! From ceremony setup to the last dance, our wedding day was perfect, and that was in no small part thanks to the team at PGA. We used their recommended vendors in many cases and it saved us so much time. Our Guests all raved about the food at both the cocktail hour and dinner. The staff made sure the my husband and I always had a drink at the reception, and that we were always served our courses first. Nickole acted as a liaison day of for our vendors, so I was free to enjoy my day. I can't thank the team at PGA National enough for making our wedding day perfect!

I fell in love with this venue as soon as I came across the images on the internet. When I arrived to see the venue I was amazed by how beautiful this resort truly is, it is even better than the images that you see. Our ceremony was on the Lakeside Terrace which overlooked the beautiful golf course and the lake. We had our reception in the British Ballroom which was the perfect size for my 110 guest wedding. My husband and I worked with Robert Manttari who was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! Robert went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding planning experience was as smooth as possible. Robert was always available and replied to all of my e-mails, texts, and calls right away. I planned the entire wedding on my own and did not have a day of coordinator, but thanks to Robert I did not need one! Robert made sure to listen to every single detail (small or big) that I planned and made sure that our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were set up exactly a I imagined. We brought in a 8ft x 8ft doughnut wall that my husband build and were planing on setting it up our-self's the morning of the wedding, when we asked Robert if that was OK he told us that he would take cake of the set up so that we would not have to worry about anything on our wedding day! We can not thank Robert enough for all the help that he offered us and for making sure that our wedding day was exactly what we imagined! The food was delicious! Our guests are still walking about how amazing the food was! We went ahead and selected 3 protein options (filet, chicken, and fish) for our guests to choose from. Servers did a great job making sure that each guest received the correct plate without any issues! Our package also included the cake which was provided by Johnson's Custom Cakes, the cake was probably the best cake I have ever had! I will admit that I was a little worried going with the cake that was included, but I don't think that I could have found a better cake for my wedding!

PGA National could not have been a better place to have my wedding. They did a phenomenal job and were so accommodating. I worked with Nickole D'Angelo as my planner and not only was she a great planner and absolutely knows her stuff, she actually took the time to get to know me and was able to meet all my requirements and help make my wedding day the best and easiest day of my life. I also worked with Lauren Greenberger and all I can say is she is such a sweetheart and was there for me with whatever I needed. They both are easy to get in contact with and were such a pleasure to work with. PGA National was the perfect place for my wedding and so beautiful!!!!!!

My wedding on December 30, 2017 was beyond perfect! From the ceremony and cocktail hour, to the dinner and after party, PGA's staff was amazing. I worked with Nickole D'Angelo for 14 months and her professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail are unmatched! She answered my millions of question, day or night and whether she was at work that day or not. I had the utmost confidence that my day would run smoothly with Nickole running the show. On a personal level, she was so much fun to work with and I truly felt like I had a wonderful friend by my side every step of the way while planning my wedding.

I can't recommend Nickole and PGA National enough- I was receiving texts and calls for days after my wedding with everyone complimenting PGA's every detail from the set up to the food. If I could do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing!

PGA National Resort and Spa is a beautiful venue with breathtaking views and beautifully manicured lawn and even though it rained on our wedding day, our wedding still turned out better than we could ever imagine! Our point of contact, Anna Erickson, was phenomenal! She was very easy to work with and made the planning process so easy and stress-free. She was very patient, responsive, professional, and detail oriented, we cannot thank her enough! The food was absolutely amazing! We went with the" food station" option and there was a ton of food for everyone. All of our guests were so impressed with the quality of the food and the presentation. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and professional. Empty plates were quickly cleared and drink orders were filled immediately. All we had to worry about was having a good time with our family and friends! We thank everyone at PGA for helping us achieve the most incredible wedding!

Our wedding ceremony was outside overlooking the golf course. The view was spectacular! Our reception of 60 people was held in the Vista room. The service, food, decorations, and DJ were outstanding. The PGA staff was accommodating and professional. It was a memorable night!

Sheril Dolphin was our catering manager at PGA National Resort & Spa and helped us pull off our perfect wedding day! We had a lot of details and specific requests and did not have a single flaw on our wedding day! We met with her on multiple occasions face-to-face and she met all our requests.

As for booking rooms for our guests - that's a different story and has NOTHING to do with Sheril. It involves an entirely different manager of the resort. He was difficult and stubborn. Thankfully Sheril helped us maneuver through it, going above and beyond her duties when she did not have to!

After all is said and done though - our wedding was flawless, the food divine, our guests were happy and loved the resort, and our dream wedding went off without a hitch!

We worked with Adair Ketzner on our wedding 6/13/15 at the resort and she was fantastic! For the months of preparation she arranged anything I needed and on the day of she seamlessly made sure my wedding went off without a hitch! She made my wedding fabulous and I would have my reception here again any time. You Couldn't find nicer staff in any of the other resorts in the area! She even arranged fruit, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for us as a surprise! Having had my wedding here, and having seen very expensive weddings friends have had on Palm Beach, I would use PGA again in a heart beat! If you like to be pampered by genuinely friendly and nice people, then this is the place for you.

For the days before the wedding we worked with Malory Marlowe in the spa. She arranged a girls spa day, complete with lunch and private cabana, and a salon day for the day of! It was wonderful and all the girls (and moms!) enjoyed it immensely. We had a great time. Loved that everything was at PGA, with competitive rates for the area, and we never needed to leave!

PGA National Resort & Spa is the PERFECT location to host a wedding (or any event). We were in town for 10 days and everything was absolutely amazing. Their entire staff from the valets, to bellman, front desk staff, servers/bartenders and the conference services staff were spectacular! I couldn't have asked for anything more from a venue. We had over 70 out of town guests and they had an awesome experience as well. They all said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended (unsolicited feedback)! I cannot thank PGA National and their staff enough for making our dream wedding come true!

Excellent food, excellent staff. I didn't have to worry about anything on that day. Guests are still talking about what an amazing job the staff did, and the beauty of the resort.

My maid of honor and I got our nails done at this spa the day before my wedding. It was such a wonderful and relaxing experience! The spa is beautiful and very large. They have a huge ladies lounge and offer many unique and traditional servies. They did a wonderful job on our nails. They had specials running at the time we went so our services were discounted which always helps. Great place for a bride to be before her wedding!

PGA National was the venue for our wedding reception. We met with Anna Erickson in July to book and plan a wedding in Nov. She was quick to respond to our requests before we signed the contract. My husband and I planned on holding the reception in an outdoor pavilion. As the date drew nearer, Anna has to make a weather call and move our reception to the back-up ballroom space. We were not disappointed the least bit. PGA National has open ballrooms with window and vaulted ceilings and a very neutral color palette. The service from set-up to tear was 5 stars. Our guests as well as my husband and I felt as though we received 5 star service- napkins folded when you got up to drinks being re-filled. PGA National is a great location to pamper your guest without being stuffy.

I haven't had my wedding yet, but after speaking to 1000 venues, I spoke with the coordinator at PGA (Sheril) and she has been nothing but helpful! This will be a destination wedding for me so I need the service to be on par in order for me to be less anxious and know that the details are in the right hands. So far so good! Will re-review after the wedding is over :)

We booked PGA for our 2/20/2015 wedding.

I live in South Korea and am not around much for the wedding planning process, but PGA has been very helpful, and they have worked with us a lot regarding timing of things. Since I'm only home twice before the wedding, things like tastings are happening quite early, and PGA has been very helpful in introducing other vendors and helping us work with them better.

It is occasionally a bit difficult to get in touch as they are usually quite busy, but recently there have been no problems, and everyone is very professional!

The venue was absolutely stunning! The staff was amazing and super helpful! The only downfall was the lack of timeliness when returning calls. Overall, our wedding was beautiful and we couldn't have done it without PGA.

This was a great venue the only problem I had was having the room I wanted double booked. After that huge issue was settled everything came out great. The chef staff is AMAZING!!!!

Great space for our event. There were a lot of unexpected elements that took place involving several of our guests. The resort staff handled it very professionally!

I got married at PGA National Resort and Spa three weeks ago. Although the venue is gorgeous and our wedding was (almost) everything we had hoped, we had some major issues dealing with the catering manager, Sarai.

First off, when I met with her in June 2010 she promised me several things that were not followed through. Sarai told me that if I went to an outside cake vendor, she would wave the $5.50 per person cake cutting fee, that I could have a Sushi Display at the Cocktail Hour with my package, and that there was a great room where we could host our brunch. Immediately following our contract being signed and deposit taken, these promises diminished. We were no longer allowed to "waive" the cake cutting fee and had to go with their vendor (which turned out great anyway). The sushi was now $19 extra per person plus tip and tax on top of our package. The space for the brunch was now reserved by another event going on that weekend.

I gave into the cake and the sushi (which was something my husband and I always dreamed of and wanted at our wedding), but we would not give in on the brunch. Magically, after my Mom called her supervisor, another venue opened for the brunch and we were told we could reserve it. More on the brunch later....

The tasting was amazing and the food turned out great the night of. We have absolutely no complaints there and were very pleased with the way the food tasted (as were all of our guests who ranted and raved about how delicious the filet, mahi and potato was).

The room also turned out unbelievably beautiful and we were so excited that everything was actually turning out great.

Sunday morning we had our brunch from 9:30 to 11:30 (for 100 people). The food was excellent and the room was set up as requested. Sarai was even there to greet us. On the Monday after our wedding, my Mom received an email from Sarai informing her that we actually had 125 guests at the brunch and that she would need authorization to charge the Credit Card for the remaining balance. My entire family has been racking our brains trying to come up with a guest list that exceeding 100 for the brunch and to no avail- there simply were not more than 100 people there. Sarai informed my Mom that 136 guests stayed in the hotel as part of our party Saturday night, however, on the same list, we only count 104, and about 15 of those people had early flights and were NOT at the brunch. This issue still hasn't been resolved, which is why I decided to write such an honest review on here.

All in all, our wedding was fabulous, but I do not feel that I could honestly recommend the venue knowing that they tried to scheme us out of the extra money for the brunch and that promises made at the initial contact were not kept once the contract was signed.

I will advise anyone who is looking to book this venue to be very careful and to really read through your contract.I am still fighting with this venue to get my issues resolved and going on a year after my wedding we are still working things out. This establishment sells you a dream and the day of they treat you like another number because the checks have cleared and it's on to another wedding. My cocktail hour was not as described and my guest were short changed in regards to the food items provided. How is it that I the Groom and my Bride received no food during cocktail hour. I have emails explaining how sorry they were about all that took place but that apology will never make up for that experience. The kids meals we paid for were delivered cold and nothing was done in regards to that issue. I want someone to finally step up and own what took place. I had several emails back and forth in regards to accounting issues and once again just an apology. Long story short the place looks beautiful but the experience was very disappointing. I now understand why their best wedding planner ran off to work for another establishment and that was while planning my wedding. My wife was beyond upset. We made sure to ignore all the setbacks and enjoy time with our family but personally I would not return or recommend.

It very heart breaking to read a review on how beautiful some else wedding was when my experience was nothing like their. I originally spoke to a wonderful person name Kristy that created a great quote and was very professional. One day I received a cal that Kristy was leaving the PGA and we had to work with someone new. That when everything went downhill. We were question about our quote and promises that was made was not going to happen. The worst experience. One top of that I was promise as the bride with 130+ guest I would have access to the adult only spa and pool with my bridal party. The day after my wedding I was told we have to pay $100 per person to access the spa with the pool area because of so many people in the hotel.. FYI my guest. Then I had an issue with me charging my Tesla at the charging station which is free to any guest. Plus my guest had experience racial profiling because they enter the wrong gate.. ( the family is a bio racial couple) . I should of just left with Kristy and had a better experience

HORRIBLE!!! Held my wedding there June 18,2016 and for the year I dealt with them it was issues after issues. Communication and customer focus is not a priority and a skill they lack! Being in the customer servicing industry for over 16 years, this place fell short on all areas. They sell you a dream and you think that there is no way the PGA brand would fall short. But they did throughout the process. My original coordinator quit, ( I should've cut my ties then and just allowed them to keep my deposit) I was assured I was in good hands and PGA is still PGA...NOT!!! The second coordinator was way in over her head. Did not follow up, passed the buck and could not communicate... Never communicated promptly or correctly! I should've been working for them since I was the one doing all of the work. Every aspects of this vendor is flawed!!!! The day of my guest barely ate during cocktail hour and I received nothing to eat!!! Me the bride??? They sell you a facade of red carpet affair and it's a low budget ghetto, uncoordinated Mess!!! We spent a lot of money and we got a mess!!!

I can go on and on with the issues, that still till this day have not been ironed out. I haven't even received a thank you for your business after spending 30k on the venue alone?

Anyone thinking of getting married here, think again and DO NOT...DO NOT!!!! Trust me. I was considering holding my company events here (depending on how my wedding went) and this place will never get my business.
