Perfect Day - Mati
We could not have asked for a better day-of wedding coordinator than Mati! At first, we were unsure if we truly needed this service; however, we could not be more grateful that we decided to contract with Perfect Day Event Planning.
From start to finish, Mati was calm, organized, and incredibly attentive to every detail. She ensured everything ran smoothly so we could truly take in our special day and relax.
Mati was very sweet and made us feel comfortable in wedding discussions, but was still able to fiercely advocate for us when we needed extra support. Mati double and triple checked so many details we would have missed without her. She helped decorate our ceremony and reception site beautifully, as well as clean everything up afterwards.
Mati was able to anticipate issues ahead of time and prepare for them in the event they arose. She was also able to be the point of contact and have conversations with other vendors to ensure all of our details were executed without issue.
Our wedding day would not have been as successful if we didn't have both Mati and Maddie present with us! I highly recommend Perfect Day Event Planning to any couple looking for coordinators who go above and beyond!Perfect Day Event Planning's reply:

My daughters wedding was PERFECT!
Amy was “the key” to unlocking the perfect day for my daughter’s wedding. First, her expertise and sound recommendations during the planning gave us the best options for our budget. We were able to go “bigger” in the aspects that meant the most to us. Second, she alleviated the stress and pressure by personally leading the events on the wedding day. That was priceless. We had a wonderful experience working with Perfect Day for our wedding. Amy and Ashley were incredible, so organised and thoughtful. Their attention to detail gave us complete peace of mind throughout the entire process. They did a fantastic job managing our vendors and asked all the right questions, including things we would never even have thought about. Everything on the day ran flawlessly. Amy quite literally saved my dress by recommending someone who fixed it at the very last minute! We are so grateful for all the care and effort that went into making our day perfect. Teal was everything we could've asked for and more!
Teal was the absolute BEST planner ever, we couldn’t have done this without her! My best advice — get yourself a Teal for your wedding day, you absolutely will not regret it. She was as involved as you’d want her to be, and for me, I wanted her involved in basically all of it as I did not want the stress of finding numerous vendors, coordinating all the details, etc. Teal was incredibly knowledgable, organized, responsive, and met with my husband and I regularly throughout the year/months leading up to our wedding to ensure we were on track and felt at ease as everything came together. I know for a fact she had a million things on her plate, but she always presented herself with a calm demeanor, which in turn made us feel calm and relaxed throughout the entire process.
Additionally, unlike a lot of brides, I didn’t have a clear “vision” of what I wanted at the beginning, so Teal helped me find inspirational concepts from social media, and transformed it into a beautiful vision I didn’t even know I had! After drafting the vision, Teal utilized her vast network of wedding connections to make it all come together. Not only did she contact numerous potential vendors for all areas of wedding planning (florals, hair/makeup, photography, etc.), but she then crafted concise comparison documents for my husband and I to review when choosing each vendor. All vendor information, tasks, due dates, and timelines were excellently organized into a spreadsheet that we all used and reviewed regularly, which was incredibly helpful for making sure we were staying on track.
On wedding day itself, Teal went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly — I honestly don’t know how she did it all alone. She coordinated all vendor drop-offs/pick-ups, setup all florals/details/signage, flipped our venue space from ceremony to dinner, and cleaned up and boxed up everything. She even assisted with returning rented items from vendors afterwards. She also dealt with all communication between our photographer, DJ, and catering regarding timelines (to be honest, I don’t know if we ever drifted off our timelines because she handled all of it).
My biggest goal was to remove myself from the stress of wedding planning, and Teal completely took the weight off my shoulders. I would (and already have) recommend Teal to all newly engaged couples, even if they don’t think they need a planner. She truly was the best!-

A Seamless Day
I can't say enough praise for Perfect Day Event Planning. Amy and Ashley from the start provided enthusiasm and drive to help plan my wedding this past May. The day of the wedding went so seamlessly. Everyone will tell you nothing ever is perfect, but I can tell you despite a minor hiccup with a dress, my wedding was perfect right down to the end. None of that would have been possible without Amy and Ashley. Being able to be fully present in the day is something I will never take for granted.
If you're considering hiring a planner, look no further—Perfect Day truly lives up to its name. -

Loved working with Amy!
We had our wedding on 6/27/25 and used Perfect Day Event Planning for nearly 2 years while planning our wedding! We worked with the owner, Amy, and she was fantastic. She helped us from start to finish and helped us find critical vendors and navigate the wedding world which was very daunting at first. But not with Amy! She is incredibly knowlegeable. Her company has many options to fit your budget as well. Amy and her assistant Mati helped our big day run so smoothly and coordinated with SO many vendors prior to and day of and did so with organization, knowledge and kindness. We had the most special day and a huge part of it was because of Amy and her team! Highly recommend using A Perfect Day for any couples getting married in the Milwaukee area. -

The Best Choice I Made for My Wedding Day (after the groom, of course)
Amy was truly the best wedding planner and day of coordinator a bride could have. From the moment I talked with her over the phone about becoming my wedding planner and day of coordinator, I knew she would be most helpful. I had a few ideas for overall vision of the wedding and she took that and ran with it. She was alongside me throughout the entire planning process for our wedding day and rehearsal dinner. Amy was a true joy to work with - she had a great level of professionalism, communication, and dedication to making my wedding dreams come true. She is also one of the kindest people I've been lucky enough to get to know. Every time I felt stressed or overwhelmed, she took on the task and lifted any stress she could from my shoulders. I couldn't imagine what my wedding day would've been without her. She recommended vendors, floral arrangements, thoughtful touches, and created the entire timeline. When it came to the wedding day, she was keeping everyone on track and made sure I was able to just enjoy the day with no stress whatsoever. wonderful experience
Mother of the bride here. I must sing Ashley’s praises. She was truly Fantastic from start to finish, but she really shone on the wedding day. I had been told by numerous friends that a wedding planner’s fees were worth it and I strongly agree. Ashley coordinated the wedding rehearsal the prior day making sure everyone was comfortable with the plans for the next day. Ashley shepherded the bridal party and family for all the pictures at the venue even holding the bouquets during picture taking time. She kept in contact with the shuttle driver to make sure everyone arrived at the wedding site prior to the wedding starting. She made sure the caterer’s were set up. But the best thing Ashley did was assisting me. I was the florist and the baker for my daughter’s big day. I needed a lot of help in setting up the alter area, including putting up an arch, arranging urns of dried flowers, turning on lots and lots of twinkle lights. Then after the ceremony, the venue owner had to take down all the chairs and put up the tables. Ashley assisted with that though she didn’t have to. And then we had to set up the tables with the floral displays and photos. She thought ahead to turn on the twinkle lights in those displays. Her enthusiasm got everyone involved in helping out. She has a great eye for detail which is so needed and great ideas to improve and make things better. Since my daughter wanted cookies instead of a cake for dessert, I baked a lot of cookies. Ashley even bagged up the cookies so guests could take them home. This was a great experience thanks to Ashley. -

A must for your wedding!
Hiring a day-of coordinator was probably our best investment for the wedding up there with a great photographer. Mati was so organized, creative, efficient, and proactive. She met with us a month prior and contacted all of the vendors. As the wedding got closer, so much stress was relieved knowing that she was there to help run the big day!
Having a professional help keep things on schedule, take care of all set up/ take down and vendor communication, and more, made me be able to be present for the wedding. Everything was set up perfectly based off the provided pictures and was carefully packed up at the end of the night.
Having a coordinator, Mati specifically, allowed us and our families to enjoy the day and truly put me at ease for the whole wedding day and planning process.
I cannot recommend Perfect Day Planning enough! -

Lake House Wedding
Amy and Ashley were phenomenal to work with! When my husband and I reached out to begin wedding planning we asked if they could plan a wedding at a from-scratch venue in 8 months time, and they told us absolutely. To say they pulled it off for us is an understatement. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams! They helped us every step of the way, from finding vendors to making sure we had our details in order. They coordinated a flawless rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at a private rooftop, and the next day coordinated an unbelievable wedding day at a private residence. Amy and Ashley did a fantastic job and we could not recommend their services enough! -

Hire Amy for your wedding! Look no further
I worked with Amy for my wedding and would highly recommend hiring her for your wedding planning needs! Seriously, look no further. Working with her was phenomenal. I had a major, terrible family tragedy about a year before my wedding with the sudden death of an immediate family member, a few months after hiring Amy. Due to the tragedy, starting a new job, I could barely handle planning any of my wedding. She navigated a difficult situation with my family, having to communicate with several family members, while seamlessly planning my ENTIRE, very large wedding, on her own. I then complicated my wedding further by getting pregnant about 5 mo before my wedding. She was not only a “wedding planner”, but turned into a friend and a sense of support through the entire process. She is very easy to work with and professional. She was always quick to respond (within minutes) to any frantic questions I had or to ease my worries. She truly had my entire wedding down to the tiny details planned and under control all on her own. She knows what she is doing and knows all the great vendors in the Milwaukee area. She truly LOVES her work and went above and beyond for me, helping literally every step of the way, organizing, planning, and confirming every tiny detail. Even helping me at midnight load leftover flowers and gifts from the venue into our car. Truly cannot say enough great things about Amy, her enthusiasm for her work, and how easy/a pleasure she is to work with. My wedding turned out to be the best day of my life and could not have been more perfect. It was 1000% all thanks to Amy’s amazing, hard work! I truly mean that and cannot say enough great things :). I am confident there is not a better wedding planner out there.-

We cannot rave enough about how wonderful Amy and her services were. We planned our wedding in Milwaukee from Seattle, WA and could not have done it without her help. Truly amazing!
Amy is truly incredible at what she does. I had spoken to other coordinators and right away knew I wanted to work with Amy. Her personality was immediately inviting and I could tell she had a true talent for her work. Throughout the entire process she was extremely detail oriented and so focused on what needed to be accomplished. We had some issues with transportation the day of and Amy swooped in and helped to solve the issues at hand, keeping us calm throughout the process. Our entire day would not have gone the same way had she not been involved. The peace and assurance we had knowing she was in control of helping the day go smoothly was invaluable. I could go on and on but honestly cannot recommend her enough! -

Blissfully Perfect: Above And Beyond
Our day truly was perfect thanks to Mati. Mati was a diligent, thoughtful, and hard working day of coordinator. She was kind, patient, and levelheaded at all times. I cannot thank her enough for her help on my wedding day, it was beautiful. She handled everything with grace and poise, and I would highly highly recommend her services to anyone seeking a day of coordinator for their wedding. Our caterers for our wedding, who agreed many times on paper to cut and serve our dessert, refused to on the day of. But Mati took it upon herself—without skipping a beat—to cut and serve every piece of cheesecake to our guests (which was definitely not her job). She did it without hesitation. I noticed nothing, having no idea anything had happened and had a wonderful blissful time. I only learned this happened a month later when I was told by a guest what “a good job Mati had done serving cheesecake so quickly”. It made me appreciate Mati so much more. She did everything with a smile. The day was saved and executed perfectly by Mati.

We worked with Perfect Day Event Planning for Day of Wedding Coordination services. Mati (Matisen) was our coordinator, and we had an absolutely great experience working with her! Mati was organized, responsive, and quick to solve any problems that occurred on our wedding day. We were able to meet with Mati at our venue a month before our wedding to go over all the details of the wedding day. Two weddings - Twice as Happy!
Our two daughters got married 7 months apart from each other and I was so THRILLED after the first wedding, I hired her again. Amy is thoughtful, creative, conscientious of budget, and extremely professional and kind. But, her greatest asset is the relationships she has with the other vendors and how they work together as a team. I highly recommend her services!!-

A very happy Bride!!!!
We love Amy!!! When I say Perfect Day Event Planning is the best of the best, I am telling the truth! I was a bride who thought she had everything in order but as it got closer to my wedding date, I was lost! We didn’t have the typical family support so you can imagine how I was feeling. Amy and her team took me on last minute and I will be forever grateful. I’m all emotional writing this post because I didn’t feel like a client, I felt like family and the way Amy and her team took care of my family and I and made sure our wedding day was perfect, we will forever be thankful. Our experience with Perfect Day Event Planning was wonderful! We hired them to do day-of coordinating for our June 2022 wedding in downtown Milwaukee. Morgan was our coordinator and she was fantastic! Our wedding was on a Friday and we did the rehearsal the same day, so she had a long day but she was a trooper! I honestly don’t know if anything went unaccording to plan because Morgan was on top of it and just handled everything. Other bonuses: very reasonably priced compared to other coordinators I contacted and they also offer a la carte planning at an hourly rate if you need any other assistance throughout the planning process. Would highly recommend Perfect Day Event Planning! -

Mother of the Bride
As mother of the bride, I hired Amy as a day-of coordinator for our daughter's wedding. I can't say enough good things! She was able to take care of last minute details and communications with our vendors so that everything was set and reay to go. She is extremely professional and organized, and also super easy to work with! It was very helpful to have someone to keep the day running smoothly. We had some crazy small glitches that would have been super frustrating to try to resolve- but Amy was on it and able to resolve everything within minutes, without batting an eye! Really made a stress-free day for the bride and groom and parents :) . She and Ashley helped with set up at our venue as well. Amy = amazing
I hired Amy to be my day of coordinator. She was the best thing I could have done for my wedding... and for my mental sanity! We met about a month out, I explained my vision to her, and we did a walk through of the venue. I brought all of my decorations to my venue the day before and did not have to worry about a single thing the whole night. She also organized and took charge for my ceremony rehearsal as well--which my groomsman absolutely needed! Amy decorated and transformed the space into exactly what I wanted. She worked her tail off to make sure everything was perfect for me. Towards the end of the night, she even packed up everything by herself (which was A LOT of work). My whole family was extremely grateful for her because she took a lot of work and responsibility off of their shoulders as well, so all they had to worry about was being present in the moment and enjoying our special day. If you are on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, JUST DO IT! Amy is your girl. I can not thank her enough for being amazing and working so hard the entire night.-

Amy was a pleasure to work with. She was very flexible during the entire time we had her booked. We had rescheduled our wedding 3 times over the last couple years and ended up eloping in 2020 and having a reception fall 2021. She let us know she was available for whatever we needed regarding services and wanted to make the process easy on us. She was a life saver on our reception day. It is a chaotic time, and having her there to help me set up and work with vendors and anything I needed that day was much needed and appreciated. She did a great job cleaning up too when I was a little too inebriated! She has such a great attitude and truly wants her clients to have the best day for their wedding. I highly recommend her services!! -

Attentive, personalized, concierge level wedding planning
Amy was superb with coordinating details for our home wedding in Lake Geneva. She made sure the details were covered leading up to the wedding, recommended vendors that were excellent and helped me make crucial decisions. She was delicate with second family dynamics and made all feel at ease. Amy assisted throughout the process and the day before and day of. She was so great that my best friend is now using her! -

Perfect Help for the Mother of the Bride
I have to admit that I was a little overwhelmed planning my daughter's wedding. Amy walked alongside us each step of the way offering just the right amount of help just when we needed it. She helped eliminate wasted time trying to hunt down vendors and unnecessary stress we might otherwise experienced. We were able to focus on our daughter and her special day. Our wedding really was perfect thanks to Amy at Perfect Day Event Planning. We hired Amy for day of coordination and she was extremely helpful through our whole planning process. Day of Coordinator
Amy was an awesome addition to our wedding team! We initially planned to get married in May of 2020-we can all imagine how that worked out. Amy was so flexible with all the changes that we made over the course of a year and a half, from multiple date changes to venue changes. Once our reception day(finally!) came I didn't have to think about anything besides having a good time! Amy took care of everything to make the day fun and stress free. She did a great job handling the curve ball of a very wet(rainy) dance floor as well. I would recommend Amy to anyone looking for a day of coordinator! -

Amy did such an awesome job as our day-of coordinator. She really listened to our priorities and her goal was to make sure my husband, our parents, and I enjoyed the day to its fullest! She is so sweet, collected, and easy to work with. She represents the height of professionalism and grace.
My husband and I were able to spend the reception focusing on our celebrating with our guests - Amy checked in every once in a while for gentle reminders on timing for things like the speeches and cake cutting. I was so relieved when I saw her at other points of the reception out of the corner of my eye - I could tell there were important things happening behind the scenes, and it was an absolute joy that she was there to take them off of my plate!

Simply the best
Amy was AMAZING. At every moment of the night she was there to help. Our groomsmen were definitely slightly difficult humans. They were all best friends growing up, so getting them all together to focus is nothing short of challenging. But Amy did it with ease. She went to the venue early to make sure ALL the lights were on. And I mean there were a lot. (Thank you!) my bustle kept getting pulled apart, and the amount of times that Amy had to run up and button me back up was astronomical, but she did it!! She got everything off of the tables that night and into a specific area for us to pick up the next morning. She was amazing and I would highly, HIGHLY, recommend her to anyone -

So grateful for Amy
Amy was our wedding day of coordinator for our November 2020 Milwaukee/Delafield wedding. We couldn’t have been happier to have her services and support on our wedding day! She was extremely responsive and organized, attended multiple meetings or walk throughs with our venue, phone calls, quick reply to email and back and forth communication on our vision for our wedding. We ended up having to change our wedding venue location the week before our wedding due to covid. Amy jumped right in for us and met us at our new venue with a days notice. With one week until the big day, she helped communicate with vendors and took over the planning and communication for the day of. We didn’t quite know what our big day was going to look like as it wasn’t what we had originally planned and Amy made sure to help us achieve the same flow of the day and look for our venue, working with our vendors and setting up our day of decor beautifully. Even with changes to our guest lists as late as the day of, Amy took the weight off the bride and groom and handled last minute changes seamlessly. We are so grateful for Amy’s professionalism and can’t imagine if we didn’t have her there for our wedding day. We highly recommended Amy to future brides and grooms! -

I didn’t want to deal with any extra stress on my wedding day and Amy made sure that didn’t happen. Everything ran perfectly and I was able to enjoy my wedding day without panicking at all about anything. Perfect Day is who you want one your team for your Special Day
I worked with both Amy and Marissa as my month of/day of coordinator for my wedding. As Marissa was a newer part of Amy's team, Amy made sure to work with us and Marissa leading up to the big day. Marissa was so wonderful the entire process, but especially the day of the wedding. Her ability to pay attention to detail ensured that nothing was missed. She always asked the right questions during vendor calls and meetings that we never would of thought to ask. She was 100% on top of it day of, helping out anyway possible. She took multiple phones calls from my mom asking last minute questions day of. She did a phenomenal job of keeping us all on task and making sure we were exactly where we needed to be, when we needed to be there. Everyone in the wedding party could not say kinder things about her. There were a few behind the scenes issues that happened with other vendors, but thanks to Marissa, we had no idea - I think this says a lot about her work ethic and ability to think on her feet. The night ran so smoothly and I have to say that is in big part thanks to her organization and expertise.She is a good person to have on your team. To top it all off, she was the sweetest thing!!! -

Perfect Day is RIGHT!
When speaking with our friends who are getting married soon, the biggest piece of advice we give to them is to hire a day-of coordinator. Working with Amy was a walk in the park. From the very beginning, she worked with us, got to know us, and really valued our opinions. She was very helpful with the rehearsal, dealt with our obnoxious wedding party, and made our ceremony flow with ease. I think the biggest compliment we can give is that both of us were able to ENJOY our day without worrying about the order of events, if our vendors had questions, setting up decor, etc. For those debating, a day of coordinator is definitely worth the expense and Amy is the best! -

Life saver!
Where do I start?! Hiring a day-of planner was a last minute, few months prior decision for us and it was the BEST one we could've possibly made. There were so many smalls details we were unsure of or not confident handling ourselves. It was the depths of winter, we had to move decorations from one venue to the other between the ceremony and reception, and guess who was the saving grace in this process? Amy from Perfect Day Event Planning. She was PHENOMENAL in every sense of the word. We literally did not have to worry about or handle any logistics the day of our wedding and it was actually my favorite aspect of the entire day. Amy took care of anything and everything that arose that day and we are forever grateful for her expertise, professionalism, enthusiasm for this industry and ultimately her great spirit and kindness.

It put our minds at ease knowing that Amy was working with all of our vendors behind the scenes in order to coordinate the perfect day. We had an extremely tight timeline on our wedding day, but Amy did an amazing job keeping the wedding party and vendors in the loop of what was happening next and where we needed to be. The Perfect Wedding Planner!
She was so helpful throughout the whole process, communicating with vendors, helping make decisions and of course the day of coordination! It was so great to have someone there on our day to set up our decor, answer questions and help us with any last minute things. Would highly recommend her to anyone! -

Perfect Day Buffer!!!
I was the type of bride that didn't really know what I wanted or didn't know what the "trends" are nowadays. Amy helped answer all my little questions I was freaking out about and made me realize you can't really go wrong at your own wedding! Not only did she help me set up everything on my wedding day but she answered all my silly little questions months before then! Amy was the magic buffer to let me enjoy my wedding day and took away all the stresses that went along with it. I was able to focus on my family, friends and now Husband. I believe, because of Amy, I'll be able to remember all the wonderful things that happened! She blocked all my worries and stressors and let me focus on whats important!
