As someone who has been planning their wedding since they were little, Kim and her team made my fairytale wedding a reality.
During the planning process, I felt so overwhelmed by all of the little details and Kim helped me through it all. Especially in the months leading up to the wedding, we were so fortunate to have her there whenever there was an issue. She was able to work out a solution and reassure me that everything would run smoothly.
I could not recommend day-of coordination more. I kept preparing for how stressful the big day was going to be, but when it came Kim and her team took care of everything. They made sure all of the vendors arrived on time, they kept us on schedule, and I was able to really just take in the whole day.

Kim Wang and her Pearls turned our dream wedding into a reality. I would give Pearl White Events extra stars on this review if I could.
Even though our wedding was on 12/28/19, she spoke with us on 9/25/18 (15 months before) to hear our wedding ideas and draw up a blueprint/draft. Every conversation and milestone we had, she made sure we were comfortable with every decision.
I had no doubt in my mind that Kim was on our team the whole time. She found solutions and alternatives when we faced challenges. She gave us suggestions and recommendations on aspects that she wasn't even supposed to take care of.
Having Kim and Pearl White Events on your side before and during your big day is a necessity. She exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond. -

Kim was an outstanding wedding planner, she said all the right things from our very first phone call. She was down to earth, realistic, kind, and a true pleasure to work with. She took my thoughts and ideas and made them into reality. I walked into our wedding weekend worrying only about the weather, because I knew Kim had everyone under control. She and her company are worth every penny, they took away so much stress and I was able to really enjoy the weekend because of them! We really felt like we were in good hands through the entire process, which in the end allowed us to just enjoy our wedding.

Pearl Whites Events should be you go-to wedding planner! I worked with Stephanie and Laura, and they were nothing less than spectacular. My husband and I chose to do the day-of wedding coordinator, where they take over the planning the month prior to the wedding. It was one of the best investments we ever spent on our wedding. It allowed us to enjoy our special day, worry-free, knowing that the entire event was in their hands. They were extremely professional and we would recommend the Pearl White Events team any day for your wedding! -

We hired PWE for our wedding after a couple of months of trying to plan our ourselves, and were so incredibly fortunate to have Kim as our planner! She was the best choice we ever made! She completely understood our vision and made sure we were 100% happy with every decision that had to be made. We were such a mess that she patiently and thoroughly answered any and all of our million questions. We even let her make the decisions because we were unsure and trusted her vision. She also communicated with us regularly and answered all of our millions of text messages. She is always prepared with a list of things that needed to be done. She had completely taken care of tons of details that we did not even realize that needed to be done before our wedding, allowing us to relax before the big day. We didn't have any reservations about putting our complete confidence in her because we knew she would handle things gorgeously. We definitely could not have done it without her and PWE. -

I cannot even begin to explain what a blessing Laura was! Trying to DIY my whole wedding was so stressful and her guidance and resources couldn’t have come at a better time. Of course I expected my wedding to turn out beautiful either way, but she was so on top of everything and placing it all together in the end that it was even more beautiful than I envisioned! -

My wedding was truly saved by you towards the end...Because of your wedding coordinator Mrs. Laura Otis!!! Her and I hit it off since the first meet via "FaceTime" lol and I loved that she took control and knew what she was doing and reassured me...I've been doing everything in my own for 2 years planning my dream wedding. I went to one of the Bridal Expo 2017 with my fellow bride Dyan Davis as she was getting married 9 months earlier than I. We came across PWE there and had an offer that I couldn't refuse and Dyan really recommended that I have at least the "day of coordinator", I am so happy that I did just that.
As I've mentioned my wedding took 2 years to plan because due to financial and my husband and I already have 3 little kids already so if you're like me with kids already, adding a coordinator will be the best decision you will ever make. Our W.C Laura was super sweet, great positive attitude, professional and just great planner and very well organize which was a plus! Like I mentioned I hired her on as the day of my wedding so it's important, you as bride to have everything ready a month before your big day for example having your Venue & all vendors locked in and ready to go and from there you can have a breather cause your PWE we'll take care of everything else for you!! Laura I miss our interactions I'm glad we'll keep in touch here and there through social media!! You were truly amazing thank you for everything!!!

Adeel Sent on 01/03/2018Our wedding was "by far the best wedding" our guests had ever been to, according to most of the guests that attended. And it truly was "planned to perfection." It was not the typical wedding, it was a gay wedding, set at the Casa Feliz in Winter Park. The Cocktail reception started in the front outdoor courtyard with a string quartet at sunset, the guests moved through the magnificent villa to arrive at the backyard courtyard and sit under a stunning/romantic tent with chandelier, delicious food catering to everyone's individual needs proceeded after our grand entrance to the reception. Emotional speeches and video presentations were next, then a gorgeous cake, followed by dancing with amazing entertainers to excite the crowd It was something so intimate yet classy and regal, as well as fun and not stuffy, and it was all thanks to Kim Tran, who I can say is probably the best wedding planner around! She is kind, attentive, constantly following up on ideas you give her. The wedding was super organized, and we did not have any responsibilities except to show up! Her and her staff thought of the perfect wedding favors which were gold Christmas ornaments with our wedding logo, she even packed the gift boxes, brought and set them at the reception, and on top of that helped plan a party for us 2 days after the wedding (our huge Christmas party for 45 guests). Everything was truly perfect, and again I cannot say it enough, all thanks to Kim. Anthony and I give her the highest rating + more. No need to shop around if you're wondering!

Liliana Sent on 06/03/2016I would say discuss what your comfort level with your wedding planner will be. I came into the consultation with my husband and a lot of the major things booked. I didn't really know what to expect from a wedding planner. Just you know the movies make them seem really expensive. Trust me though. PWE is a worthwhile investment. I needed help piecing together a cohesive image for my wedding because as a full time student my priorities were everywhere. Kim Tran and Pearl White Events helped me do just that. After the consultation I got to look at a custom Pinterest inspiration board created just from my ideas and I fell in love with it. I especially loved Kim's outgoing, warm and genuine interest in making my wedding planning the best experience ever. Choosing Pearl White Event was one of the best decisions I made. I opted for partial planning and was so happy with the final outcomes. My favorite part was getting a first look at the ballroom that had been transformed and just being treated like a princess on my wedding day! Kim and PWE made sure I always had what I wanted and the transition to the end of the party was seamless. Victoria Sent on 09/25/2014We don't know what we would have done without Pearl White Events, Kim & her team were wonderful!!! They flew up to our wedding in DC for the whole weekend, we had Kim from our initial planning, engagement photo shoot, the weekend of and of course our big day! She even stayed around the day after to help us with our clean up and wrapping things up. Kim was a great organizer, planner, executor, and was very professional the whole time. Our families are from Vietnam so it was great she understood the culture and helped us talk to our families when we were busy! She loves what she does and is truly a sweetheart. I even called her a few weeks after the honeymoon because we were missing some vases and she knew exactly where it was! Our Wedding wouldn't have been the same without Pearl White Events. I definitely recommend them if you are in need of a personal yet professional experience! Thank you for traveling to DC and making it truly our special day!!! -

Pearl White Events was so good! Originally I spoke with some ladies who I feel matched my personality well, however they didn't end up being the lead planner for my wedding. So definitely do your research if this is important to you. The one downside is that their servers weren't working for a little while and so our communication back and forth seemed to stop, as we were not getting each other's messages. However, once we realized this, it was resolved and things were swinging. Laura was very detail oriented and stayed in touch with all my vendors closer to the wedding and I didn't have to bother doing that while trying to finish other finishing details. The rehearsal went well and on the wedding day, there weren't any major mishaps. Well if there were, I didn't know about them ;)
There were times after the wedding where I would wonder if something happened but I know it was taken care of. I was originally not going to have a wedding planner, and then the venue we chose actually required it, and I'm so glad. There were several details or little things that needed to be done that they took care of, and I'm so glad I didn't have to. The last few weeks leading up to the wedding are stressful and I work full time, so having the extra help was great. My mom wasn't able to help as much because she lives in another state and so I didn't want to burden her either. Laura and Kim were great the day of the wedding and everything went really smoothly and my family and friends didn't have to worry about much of anything. It was really nice and it helped me relax and enjoy the day better instead of worrying about all the little things.
