Embarrassing to say, I thought I did a review but realized I never submitted. Time has gone by but I know Paul’s work has evolved and wow his talent goes unnoticed. I reached out to Paul from Philly, and did not want anyone else but him to capture my wedding day as he is located in Seattle. His work is beautiful, he has an eye for everything. Beautiful work and an awesome human being, easy to work with and get along. Thank you for capturing my day, working with me and flying in within 24hrs. My husband, my bridal party, and I still talk about him to this day! I never got to thank you or maybe I did but thank you AGAIN. For anyone in the WA area, Hawaii or anywhere in the world, this guy is so humble and talented.

We are beyond grateful to have had Paul as our photographer for both our engagement session and wedding day on 08/17/24. From the very beginning, his creativity perfectly meshed with our vision, making every shot feel natural, authentic, and exactly what we dreamed of. Wedding Rehearsal with Paul

We reached out to Paul one week before our wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner and he was very flexible to work with us to make sure that we would get the coverage that we needed. On the day of the wedding rehearsal, Paul arrived early and put my mind at ease despite the chaos of the day. I felt like I could relax and he was very helpful in providing tips for the wedding party and the bride and groom on how to stand, how to walk in etc. Paul really cares about the whole wedding, not just the photos. He made a lot of suggestions during the rehearsal that worked beautifully when I walked down on the aisle on the actual day! He was super quick and delivered the photos to us on the same night as the rehearsal dinner. My parents were very impressed with his professionalism and how beautiful the photographs turned out. We are so grateful that we were able to work with Paul to capture precious moments from the event and highly recommend him to anyone for their photography needs!

Top Wedding Photographer

Paul was respectful, easy to work with, and a creative visionary. Paul was recommended to us by our videographer and it was a great decision to go with him as our photographer for our wedding. He has a very creative mind when it comes to different poses and how to get the best out of the locations. On the day of our wedding Paul made us his priority, making sure to get the photos we wanted and checked in on us throughout the day. The photography was beautiful and the highlight reels were amazing so we can relive our big day!

A huge part to why our wedding was a success

Paul Maranan was a pleasure to work with. He came recommended to us as a professional, creative visionary, and a very accommodating individual.

From the engagement photos to the day of the wedding, Paul made the photos one of the easiest parts of our wedding. He was attentive to our ideas while supplanting and providing his experienced input to ensure that we were able to accomplish what we set out to do for our photographs. He was candid enough with us when things were working well but also when they weren’t working well. He was transparent when positioning my wife and I for pictures, relaying the reasoning for each picture and his vision which allowed us to be comfortable and fit that mold. While he provided us the template, he provided us enough space to also be ourselves during the photos.

On the day of the wedding, he was not only a professional in ensuring that we got our shots done the way we wanted them but was also a very kind and supportive person during the wedding. While taking pictures for us, he took the time to ensure that my wife and I were taking pauses throughout the day to ensure that we were soaking in the event, the feelings and the magnitude of the day. While this helped with more candid and relaxed photos, it meant the world to my wife and I that he would take the time to ensure that someone was there to remind us to soak it all in.

Better than we could've asked for!

Paul was our photographer for our wedding and engagement photos and we can't say enough about how amazing he was! My husband and I never had professional photos taken before so we were nervous going into it but it didn't phase Paul. Because of his experience and professionalism, he easily guided us through everything with patience and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Paul made sure he knew what we wanted out of a wedding photographer and was great at capturing all of the important moments and raw emotion. He easily adjusted to changes in the timeline and his communication before, during, and after the wedding was amazing. We are so so happy with all of our photos and are more than satisfied with our experience working with him. If you are looking for someone to capture an important event in your life, Paul is the person you want!

Wonderful!

Paul was our engagement and wedding photographer and he was fabulous! He came out to San Francisco to do our engagement shoot, which is where we live, and had so much fun exploring spots to get good shots with him. Our pictures turned out beautiful and he even took some video shots of us that were so special. He also did a lovely job at our wedding. He was super flexible in accommodating a wonky schedule because we had a tea ceremony in the morning and our wedding in the evening. Our guests had great things to say about his presence as a vendor, which was a big add. We highly recommend!

Phenomenal. Hiring Paul was one of the best decisions we made!

Paul was our photographer for our wedding and WOW!!!!!!! We were blown away by his level of excellence in every way. He is the most accommodating, professional, and talented photographer out there. During wedding planning, when people say “trust your vendors”, Paul is the epitome of that. He ensured everything ran seamlessly and stress free with our timeline, even with a busy day of wedding schedule: he arrived early and prompt, has great time management, he ensured we got all of the photos/shots we discussed in the “pre-plan” stage plus more. His level of detail and commitment to our needs was much appreciated. He was able to capture every key moment of that day and I’m forever grateful. His many years of experience in the industry really shows. He is so easy to work with and he made everyone at my wedding feel comfortable which was a priority. Truly one of the best

I don’t know where to even begin with the gratitude I have towards Paul. I was never really into getting photos done because I have always felt insecure until I met Paul. Paul was having a mini shoot a few years back and ever since then I have not gone to anyone but him. Let me tell you Paul is truly amazing! Not just as a photographer but also a person. Who just became apart of our family and someone we can call a friend. With having 3 boys he is very patience with my boys and let them be themselves and made us feel so comfortable. His pictures never felt force to pose it was a lot of candid moments and in the moment. Which I truly love! He will never disappoint. Hope you’ll love him just as much as we do!

Paul is amazing

Paul is amazing and not only because his pictures are phenomenal, but because he has been one of the most accommodating, responsive, and thoughtful vendors we worked with during our wedding. There was a point when the day got stressful during family pictures (avoid doing them if you can - at least the extended family) and he could tell that I was getting frustrated and actually started to cry during our portraits (it’s like herding cats people, avoid at all costs)! He pulled me aside and gave me a pep talk so we could finish the shots and then right before the ceremony started, he gave me the most uplifting talk in order to get me back into the right headspace. I was able to move past that moment and enjoy the most important part of the day: my groom and our wedding! I will never be able to thank him enough for that.

When we got our pictures back, we were in tears reliving that day - in a good way! You never realize how much you miss during the wedding or what you forget as the time passes, but Paul did such an amazing job of capturing the love.

Family/multi generational photos

Working with Paul was such an enjoyable experience. My 95 year old grandmother definitely became the star of the show. Paul was very kind, professional, easy to work with, and very talented! The pictures came out perfectly and exceeded our expectations! The pictures actually made us and many of our friends and family pretty emotional, something I never expected ❤️ I will absolutely hire Paul again!

Ahh-mazing!!!

Cannot say enough how amazing Paul was as our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos. Paul made us feel incredibly at ease since we're such awkward posers in front of the camera. He made us do some action poses and it genuinely created laughs and smiles out of us, we loved it and it turned out great for our pictures! Paul paid attention to so many details like our hair placement, hand placement, fixed my cardigan in our engagement photos, what can't he do? On our wedding day, he did a great job wrangling in our talkative wedding party and captured amazing group and couple shots. He also knew exactly how to position my train in every photo since I was just holding it so awkwardly lol. Paul is also super down to earth and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. Paul gave us so, so, so many photos that we'll be able to cherish and look back on forever. So grateful. If you're on the fence about photographers, just do yourself a favor and book him now! The best family photos!

Paul did an amazing job on our family photos! We have a baby and a toddler so you know it’s not always easy to get them smiling and still. I had no idea until we received the gallery how many moments he captured. It’s the best photos we’ve ever had! He guided us through the session and paid close attention to detail like hair and clothing fixes, lighting and scenery. He was very accommodating, patient and helpful with the kids and had the photos back to us in just over a week. I can’t thank him enough for the beautiful photos. So happy with his work and relieved to find our new go to photographer!

Beautiful pictures!

My husband and I are so happy with the decision to hire Paul to be our wedding photographer. If there's one part of the wedding budget you should be sparing no expense to, it's the photographer. When the day is over, you'll want gorgeous pictures to look back on. Paul made us both feel comfortable and guided us through the whole day on what to do to look great in our pictures.
He was patient with my bridal party and family, taking all the pictures that we requested. Our sparkler exit photo is better than what I could have imagined in my Pinterest dreams.
I love the previews that we've received so much that my computer, iPad and phone all have the photos as backgrounds. :)

Thank you Paul!

Dan and I had initally planned on getting married August of this year. Then, right after Valentine's Day, we had decided to cancel the big wedding and elope instead in March. We quickly got in touch with Paul and hired him as our wedding photographer, he is amazing! Little did we know what were in for, Covid and the shutdown took us by surprise and hit us with unexpected changes to our special day. For as small of a timespan we had to plan for the wedding, Paul showed up big time. Dan and I are both somewhat quiet even shy people by nature but that didn't stop Paul from getting us out of our comfort zone! It didn't take long for us to connect with him, Paul is warm and friendly, we felt at ease while he took our photos. Paul is an experienced photographer, we could tell that by how he directed the shots and how he was mindful of the time. He was very professional and worked well with our videographer. Our family noted how well mannered, helpful and great they both were. I think what I loved now looking back at our wedding photos is how natural it all looks and how we could still feel all the love and joy that day brought us. Paul was able to capture all the beautiful moments of our special day and we are so grateful that we decided to go with him as our photographer!

Amazing photographer, you won't regret hiring them!

My husband and I had to postpone our wedding and planned our covid wedding in 4 weeks and we were so lucky to have Paul with us as our photographer for the little time that we had in communicating with him. He listened to all of our concerns and accommodated all of our needs, everything from budget to our hectic schedule and all of the restrictions that kept on changing, he adapted around them so well. He photographed our wedding pictures just as exactly as how we felt on our wedding day. He really does take the most beautiful candid photos! Everything looks so natural because he made us so comfortable and at ease. I still remember being stressed and time-pressed when I was getting ready. My bridesmaids were all in their zone, both of my moms were also pre-occupied with how excited they were and no matter how much I pressed on with saying "we should go, please hurry up!" lol I truly didn't feel like anyone in that room was hearing the stress and anxiety in my voice, but I remember he just looked at me, smiled and said something like "everything is going to be perfect, don't worry about the time, just focus on yourself... even if we are a little late, remember the wedding is not going to start without you". Hearing him say that, I immediately felt the stress and the worries just completely fade. It was so thoughtful for him to reassure me and I truly believe it was one of the reasons why I looked so relax and carefree in my photos despite all the worries and stress I felt on that day. My husband and I are so grateful for his work and most of all for being so understanding in respecting the limitations we had as a covid-wedding couple. Thank you Paul for capturing our wedding and for making us truly focus on what truly mattered on our special day. :)

Stop your search right now! Paul is the one, I PROMISE! My husband and I, had the pleasure of watching Paul in action at two weddings and I knew (even before my husband proposed) that Paul HAD to be our photographer. Working with Paul was an effortless and genuine experience, he was easy to contact and would respond quickly to any questions big or small. Exceeded Expectations!

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. From our engagement photos up to our wedding day, each picture captured is perfect, whilst making us feel totally relaxed, especially for the bride that can feel super awkward in front of a camera. We could not be happier with the end result.

Not only is he fun to work with, but he was super flexible. As many other couples have also experienced this year due to the global pandemic, our wedding plans changed drastically. We had to move to a different location (which was much further than our original) and our itinerary ended up being a far more laid back and intimate wedding ceremony and reception. Despite all these changes, Paul was very accommodating and understanding. We were grateful for his flexibility, as he was able to still commit to being our wedding photographer.

His incredible work is what we are left with to provoke the memories on our very special day. We would happily recommend him to anyone!

Beautiful photos and great photographer

It’s taken me awhile to write a review because I was over everything after planning my wedding! But those looking for a wedding photographer, Paul could not come highly recommended enough. He’s affordable and his work speaks for itself.

I had heard of Paul through one of my friends and met up with him. He was very professional and easy to talk to. We hammered out he details of the contract, I also needed a second photographer because of my large reception and Paul introduced us to Mike. Our first time working with the both of them was during our engagement photo shoot.

My husband and I are into hiking and I wanted our pictures to reflect that. Paul didn’t hesitate when I requested we do a sunrise shoot at Rattlesnake. We met him and Mike up at the top and that’s when the magic began! I’m definitely not used to getting my picture taken and was afraid our photos would look awkward. However, with Paul’s direction, my husband and I eventually got comfortable in front of the camera and we had lots of fun! Our engagement photos are amazing!

Just before wedding day, Paul and I discussed the timeline and what I wanted for pictures at the cathedral since my family is so large. Paul and Mike were very very accommodating and patient. I was glad when they took us up for golden hour to get some beautiful shots of just my husband and I. It was like I had friends shooting our wedding and I couldn’t be more grateful. Lots of laughter and joking around. I look at our wedding pictures and it just brings me back to all those great moments. Our wedding pictures are absolutely beautiful. So again, if you’re looking for a wedding photographer who is great to work with, hire Paul.

Photography At Its Finest

Paul, thank you for taking some of the wedding stress off our burdened shoulders, not only on our wedding day, but the days leading up to it as well. You provided experienced input when needed and were very responsive, even after our event was over. We aren't pros in front of the camera so having a pro behind it was very reassuring. You were professional without being uptight and personable without being ingenuine. Your flexibility with our pre-wedding/engagement session was such a relief.

When there are a hundred other things to worry about (especially with a destination wedding), it really makes you appreciate when a vendor, like you, is so easy to work with. We only wish we booked you sooner since you already had an event scheduled on our original date. However, changing our wedding date so we would still be able to use your services was something we don't regret. We understand that your quickly booked schedule is just a testament to the quality of your work.

So happy we hired Paul!

My husband and I did an elopement with just 3 of our friends - 2 witnesses and an officiant and our little toddler. We wanted something intimate, simple, and to be genuine with our intentions of just marrying each other. With that said, we wanted someone to capture our small ceremony in the grandeur that it meant to us. Paul did just that. It was a hiking elopement at Rattlesnake Ledge, a steep 1 hour hike. What was great was Paul felt like just one of our friends joining us as we made our way up the mountain. It wasn’t awkward and we felt like we could be ourselves. We are just naturally awkward when it comes to posing for a camera but Paul made us feel as comfortable as we could and still managed to capture such great moments! Even under the heat and my crying toddler, he made us look as if we didn’t break a sweat! Ha! Thank you Paul for being able to create our vision!

Stunning Photos Captured by a Fun Photographer

My husband and I were so lucky to have had Paul capture our wedding day. We first saw Paul in action shooting our cousin’s wedding, roughly one year before our wedding date. My husband was impressed at how Paul made the wedding party feel comfortable in front of the camera, the direction he gave for formal shots, and how well he blended in with guests to capture candids. After we viewed Paul’s work online and on Instagram, we knew we had to book him quick, his photos are amazing!

From the time we booked him, up until he delivered our wedding photos, Paul was so easy to work with. My husband and I are introverts who are incredibly shy and awkward, but Paul is so friendly and easygoing that he made being photographed a fun experience. Best photographer

Paul truly has a special skill of knowing how to capture the moment. He did an amazing job from start to finish. The package also came with an engagement shoot which also turned out beautifully. My husband and I are not one to typically take any pictures together, but he made us feel really comfortable and was able to capture some really great moments. He’s very accommodating and professional but also made the experience really fun! He went above and beyond to make sure the results were beautiful and what we wanted. So easy to work with!

Paul was amazing to work with! He was pretty much the first vendor I booked when starting to plan my wedding. He gets booked up fast, so contact him early!! My husband and I are equally awkward when it comes to taking pictures, but Paul made it so easy and made us comfortable during our engagement shoot and wedding day. The pictures came out gorgeous and I’m so excited to put them up around our house. He and Michael did such an amazing job capturing everything on our big day. Fantastic experience all around

This review is super overdue, but it’s important that I share with the world how wonderful our experience was with Paul Maranan. I met with several photographers before choosing Paul. His photos were absolutely beautiful, but what made me ultimately choose him to photograph our wedding was his professionalism and friendly demeanor. He was so accommodating when we scheduled and rescheduled engagement photos. He was such a good sport with our crazy dogs and the photos turned out amazing! On our actual wedding day, Paul was a breeze to work with. He arrived promptly at our venue and took all of the customary photos. He possessed the right amount of instruction and flexibility, which is key to wrangling such a big group (8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen), in addition to two huge families. I was pretty annoyed with some family members who kept asking him to take photos with their old school digital camera, but Paul was so graceful and acquiesced to their requests, continually reassuring me that it was fine. Throughout our wedding he had such a calm aura that we really appreciated. Lastly, his photos were stunning. He has a fantastic eye and I appreciated his helpful guidance - tilt your chin down, lift your arms, etc. I would definitely hire Paul again. Do yourself a favor and get on his books, because they will fill up fast.

Amazing ninja photographer :)

Being located in Southern California, Paul was so easy to work with even though he is a thousand miles away from my location! From the initial booking of our engagement photos till the day of our wedding, I never once felt nervous or anxious; he made my husband and I feel so confident in his work and at ease while he was working. Paul and his team have truly been amazing to work with and the product he produced was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. He's such a ninja that he was able to capture some intimate moments that still make me tear up.

The absolute best!

I would not recommend anyone else but Paul, he is absolutely amazing! Paul did both of our engagement and wedding photos and the experience and final product was more than I could ever ask for! From the beginning with our engagement pictures, Paul made us feel comfortable as awkward as we were being in front of a camera. He was able to capture us as a couple & even included our dogs since they are a huge part of our lives.

Our wedding photos definitely exceeded all my expectations for our wedding day. The way he captured the day in its entirety, I am able to relive one of the best days over and over again. Paul is amazing!!!

I absolutely LOVE Paul’s work. If I could give him more than 5 stars, then I definitely would! Not only is he an amazing photographer, but he is very personable and easy to work with. I mean, what more could you ask for?!

From the very beginning, Paul told us to “just be ourselves and have fun with it”. And let me tell you, just when my husband and I thought we would be so awkward in front of the camera, Paul had a way of making us feel extremely comfortable. And guess what? Our photos turned out AMAZING!

I couldn't have asked for a better photographer to work with or more perfect engagement and wedding photos. Our wedding day was by far one of the happiest days of my life and he was able to capture all that with so much love, laughter, and tears. I am absolutely obsessed with our photos and have probably looked at them about a thousand times, but I don't think I'll ever get tired of looking at them! The best experience!!

We absolutely loved Paul!! When we got engaged he was the first vendor we booked and he didn’t disappoint. When we opted out of engagement photos (we’re not really big on professional pics) paul took the time to explain that they would help us feel more comfortable in front of the camera and it would help us and him figure out what types of pictures we liked. We ended up doing it and We were so happy with them! We looked better than we thought we could in front of a camera. Paul also shot our ceremony and reception (two different days). He showed up on time and ready to work both days. He had great ideas for pictures and to say everyone loved him is an understatement. Our friends said he was the nicest and easiest wedding photographer they’d ever met. Our photos turned out absolutely stunning. We are so happy with them and recommend him to everyone we know. We also recently got our slide show of the reception and it was like reliving the entire night all over again. He did an excellent job capturing such perfect moments throughout the night. Amazing photographer that’ll capture every moment

Paul photographed my gf’s wedding a couple years ago and she recommended him to us. Our first impression of Paul was that he was very personable. He wanted to capture our special moments how we saw them fit which is what made us love him even more! Paul was kind, friendly, and extremely professional. He made sure we were satisfied with every shoot and let us take full control. Not to mention that he captured the most incredible candid moments that actually became our favorite photos.

Absolutely love our forever pictures!

Paul is the beest!!! We were able to have both our engagement and wedding day photos taken by him! From day one he made us feel extremely comfortable that it felt like we were all simply hanging out! Pictures can be intimidating but Paul was beyond great at leading us and truly captured who we are as a couple! His eye is one. of. a. kind. I had a lot of people tell me our pictures were one of the most natural and unforced engagement pictures they'd ever seen! We have our pictures hung up and displayed in our home and we couldn't be more proud to keep them displayed for the rest of our lives!

Fast forward to day of wedding. WOW. Not only were the pictures again INCREDIBLE, Paul helped to calm any nerves of ours, assured us that everything would be okay honestly he felt like a day of coach haha! Paul knows the nature of weddings in his sleep. At one point during the wedding day he told me, this is the part where things get a little crazy but don't worry it'll all work out and not even after 5 minutes do things start to just go so fast!! #Psychic. But through it all he managed to capture the most incredible images I will keep so dear to my heart for the rest of my life! Moments that went by so fast, some I barely remember but that he managed to save! I've seen so many photographers draw too much attention to themselves lugging around huge equipment it was almost obnoxious, demanding the couple be here and there and everywhere but I was sooo surprised to have seen all the memories he managed to capture without drawing so much attention and letting us enjoy our day I call him photo NINJA! He knows his art and craft so well that I trusted he'd get the most perfect pictures, better than any scene I could capture and I was right to do so!

If there's one piece of advice that I can give as a former bride, it is to find a photographer that you click with and trust. Not only will you be spending all day of the most special day of your life with this person, but you will also be depending on them to deliver the photos that will serve as the memories of that day for years to come. This person for us was Paul, and I can say that he did not disappoint.

There's a special magic that happens when your photographer can just blend in and become like family. Everyone is more comfortable in front of the camera and the pictures come alive in such an authentic way. Paul became family and put everyone at ease, which speaks a lot to his personality. Coming from someone that always feels awkward in front of the camera, I know how important it is to feel comfortable but also feel like you're being directed well to get good shots. Paul definitely delivered!

Paul was also one of the best vendors we had as far as communication went. His responses were quick and he was always patient and flexible. The fact that he is willing to go above and beyond for his clients is so apparent.

If I could give Paul more than five stars, I would!! Let me start by saying WOW, Paul went above and beyond my wildest engagement photo dreams! We loved our engagement shoot with Paul so much that we’re already looking for an excuse to work with him again. He was professional, responsive, passionate, flexible (our shoot was weather dependent), and above all an absolute joy to work with. What I appreciate is that nothing was staged, he captured real emotion and tender moments and was able to make us (two awkward and camera shy people) feel completely comfortable during the entire shoot, which showed through in the pictures. Barely 24 hours after our engagement shoot, Paul emailed us the photos that captured the feel and progression of the entire shoot. I was blown away by the immediate turnaround time and completely moved to tears by the final product. Truly, his work left both my fiancé and I speechless.

He’s incredibly talented, detail oriented and 100% committed to making sure the photos are what YOU want. I mean it, leading up to the shoot he wanted to hear our vision and bring it to life even if that meant come photo shoot time, getting his feet wet to capture the perfect angles down by the river and hiking to the top of Rattlesnake – which he did both of without an ounce of hesitation.

I was referred to Paul for my wedding by another photographer that I’ve onown for years and think very highly of. After messaging him and looking at his work on Instagram, Facebook, and his website I knew this was the photographer for us! Right out the gate Paul was working to see what he could do to meet our needs. My husband is not fond of photos and wanted to see if we could skip the engagement session and just have photos of our wedding. Paul explained he has a lot of grooms that don’t like photos but how important the engagement shoot is for meeting each other to get comfortable for the wedding day. He was right! I had a couple other local photographers in mind when deciding who we wanted for our simple court wedding but I went with my first instinct and that was Paul. I found out about Paul from mutual friends who were all using his pictures as their profile pictures for their social media accounts. There's a reason why literally everyone is going to him now for weddings, family portraits, etc; he is amazing! Paul makes communication easy; he responds right away and encourages you to ask whatever questions you have that may come up at anytime. He is super flexible, reasonable, and upfront about his expectations. As you know, weddings can be hectic. In my case, we were running a little behind on time, everything was happening too quickly, and my kids didn't want to cooperate, but Paul was understanding. Something really incredible happens when he is behind the lens because he is able to capture the moments you wished you did when you are too busy being in the moment! I chose Paul for one reason only: he has an eye for capturing the perfect moment. This is what separates Paul's work from other wedding photographers. Just take a look at his portfolio or Instagram page.

Beyond the beautifully edited and perfectly composed photos, Paul is able to draw the viewer in and evoke an emotional response. You can't help but to look at each photo and say "Wow...they are madly in love". This is what separates a good photographer from a great photographer. Capturing timeless photos goes beyond having great equipment, it takes a special gift. A gift that Paul has definitely been blessed with.

What's more amazing is Paul's ability to capture these moments organically and naturally. In other words, with most photographers, one might experience something like this:

"Okay look forward, tilt your head to the side... no, now forward a bit, too much, go back...". You get the point.

With Paul, he goes with the flow and doesn't draw attention to himself. He operates like a fly on the wall or a ninja in the shadows. If he does give instructions, it's short and simple. Not only does this translate into better, more natural looking photos, your attention is focused where it needs to be: on your significant other. This is god-send for people who tense up in front of the lens and end up looking awkward all the time (like me). I still remember when I forewarned Paul that I tend to ruin pictures with my awkward smile and half-closed eyes, but I will never forget what he told me next, "Enjoy your wedding day and take it all in. Trust me, it'll be a blur". I'm glad I listened to his advice because I was able to fully soak up the moment and it resulted beautifully captured shots with my wife, friends, and family.

I could not have asked for more from Paul. He is the nicest and most understanding. A lot of things don't go as planned during a wedding day and he was so accommodating. Photographs are probably the most important material item of your big day..it's the only thing you go home with and remember all your fun by. Paul was amazing and fun to work with from our engagement pictures to our actual nuptials. He always was looking for new exciting places to take our photos so everything wasn't so cookie cutter. We laughed the entire time, it made every part so much more enjoyable.
Paul even helped with timing and little things no one really even thought about. My pictures came before his given deadline and they we're honestly the best pictures I had seen of myself and my husband. The photos really captured how much fun and love was at my wedding. We found Paul through a mutual friend and we are ever so thankful for the recommendation! Paul was a pleasure to work with. Prior to the wedding, we were able to take our engagement photos with Paul. During our engagement shoot, we realized how patient he is! Paul also will climb rocks or leap 5 feet+ for you to take that perfect shot! Paul's work is amazing! My fiancé and I decided we wanted to hire Paul as our wedding photographer but found out we were pregnant. Although our wedding timeline may have changed, we knew for sure we wanted Paul to take our Maternity photos. We were ecstatic he agreed to do it! He is an absolutely amazing and very creative photographer who capture my pregnancy beautifully. I fell in love with my first maternity photos so much that I asked him to do a second set! We are very lucky to have Paul as our photographer. He is really patient with us, make us feel very comfortable. Paul is just awesome! I'm glad I bumped into his profile while browsing photographers around the area. We hired him for our engagement shoot and wedding. He is very talented and it shows in his work. Paul did such an AMAZING job on our engagement photos. He was referred to by some friends and he did not disappoint. I've seen his work around social media and I had first inquired his services for a friend's proposal. He did an amazing job with their session, I had to schedule a session for my engagement photos right away. He is laid back and easy going, my fiance and I were so comfortable around him. He guided us through each of our photos and always allowed us to voice what we wanted. Paul's photography is versatile and stylish. He can shoot in any setting- we shot in an abandoned industrial area with graffiti and rubble but our photos looked spectacular! I highly recommend him for any photo needs!

Paul did a wonderful job and I think it's evident from his stellar ratings. I am most amazed by his quality of work and his ability to direct poses for us. I've worked with a few photographers, and though candid photos are great, I wanted photos that were well thought out and framed well. Paul was able to direct me and my fiance, in the most comfortable way, to produce amazing photos. I highly recommend Paul and have been raving about him and his work to all of my friends. What a talented couple to work with and to capture our day despite the hick ups. Both Paul and Michelle were very professional and were very accommodating especially since they both had to capture our day in the month of August. We were without electricity for 4.5 hours and Michele sang to us to fill the silence in the room. Paul went above and beyond to capture a picture of me (bride) getting ready by climbing outside the window on the roof top. Thank goodness he didn't get blown off the roof with 70 mph winds. :) Their are so much more but you truly need to experience them yourself. THEY'RE AMAZING!!

Paul was beyond any expectation I had. This was my first photoshoot ever and Paul captured my vision ever so perfectly! I can't express enough how incredible it was to have Paul taking care of our photography needs on our wedding day. From early in the morning to late at night, he was always by our side and knew exactly what we were thinking without us having to say a word. We met with Paul just once before the wedding to allow us time to get to know each other and take some practice shots which allowed Paul to get to know us very quickly. The three of us became very comfortable very quickly which was important. He really submersed himself into our minds and what we envisioned, and I can honestly say he wore our shoes throughout the process. It was very comforting knowing he was ahead of us, behind us and by our side, and clearly understanding our cues and expressions. Working with Paul was a real treat and we look forward to more projects together in the future.

Paul was amazing! We could not have asked for a better photographer. We did both engagement and wedding pictures and he captured what we had imagined. What I loved about our shoot was that he captured who we are as a couple. Our pictures definitely portrayed our 10 years of relationship as well as our love and involvement with our friends and family. We had our first photoshoot with Paul Christmas Eve 2013 for our maternity photos. Paul was very flexible with scheduling, photo poses and basically made everything as easy as possible (especially since I was 37 weeks pregnant at the time). We have since used him for a recent family photoshoot and booked him for our wedding vow renewal next summer. Paul is talented and always very prompt with delivery of the photos.

Who knew maternity pictures at 7 month pregnant could be so easy and fun?! Paul and Michelle did a great job asking the right questions about my needs and ideas prior to the shoot. As a result, they were able to cater the shoot to my family's needs making it mindless and enjoyable. The final product was better than I even expected. My husband and I had a great time with Paul while we took our themed engagement pictures. His professionalism and creativity are really top notch. Paul makes your vision come alive and will make sure the best shot is taken. My husband hates taking pictures but he felt so comfortable in front of Paul's camera. In my opinion, this is what makes a great photographer - someone who makes you feel like yourself, who captures the true you. Paul does all of this and more. I couldn't be any happier with the family pictures that were taken by P&M productions. I would recommend P&M for any event or project that involves professional photography! Prior to our family pictures P&M productions shot marketing photos for my business on two separate occasions. It being a kids clothing line, expecting a smooth shoot was far from my mind. I was totally wrong. Every time, the photographer did a great job making the kids feel comfortable, and needless to say the photos came out perfect! I wouldn't think of hiring anyone else for photos after the experience my family and I have had with P&M productions!

Paul is an amazing photographer- he shot both my engagement and wedding. He is always responsive via text, email, and phone- even during the arrival of his child he'd shoot an email over to see how planning was and if schedules were the same! I would email ideas for photos and on the day of, he executed perfectly in addition to the creative ideas he had of his own. There was never a moment I felt that we were just standing. He fully utilized my allotted wedding photo time and the remainder was shooting candid's / family photos all night. I was reluctant to only have 1 photographer shoot the day of the wedding, but did Paul ever prove me wrong. He would scramble from room to room to get EVERY detail I wanted. He is definitely worth the money, I would trust him with family photos in the future, and recommend him to ANY couple. Happy to vouch for this 5 Star photographer!!!

We recently hired Paul for our wedding photography after such an amazing experience with him for our Engagement photos. Paul is an amazing photographer who knows how to make his clients comfortable in front of the camera while getting the incredible shots that every bride spends hours on Pinterest dreaming about. After showing Paul just a few example photos for setting and theme, he quickly picked up on what we were looking for and was able to execute without any needed direction. Throughout the photography process he would show us some of the shots to ensure that he was on the right track. Paul was easy to work with and flexible regarding location. Paul came out to our neighborhood and allowed us several location and clothing changes, all while remaining patient and excited about our shoot. I definitely recommend Paul and can't wait until our wedding! :)

Easygoing, detail-oriented, best guy to capture our wedding!

Paul was such a joy to work with!
He was recommended to us by another local photographer, one we originally sought out to capture our wedding, and we’re so glad we landed him instead!
He was immediately responsive, was willing to work with our limited budget, and he was just so easygoing that it put us at ease.
He took our engagement photos and had them to sent to us the same day! And on the wedding day, he showed up well before the ceremony to familiarize himself with the venue so he knew where he wanted shots of us. We had so many things going on that day, and he not only took pictures of all our family and friends, but also helped out with setup and takedown as if he were part of our bridal party. We appreciated him being there so much! My husband and I don’t particularly like being photographed and we’re not very good at “acting natural,” but Paul was totally cool with us being dorks the whole time. It was the best day of our lives, and the pictures attest to that and capture all our favorite moments and more! And that is all we could hope for. Paul is amazing to work with. We chose him based on the pictures we saw on a friend's Instagram. We knew he'd be a good fit as we loved the natural, moment-capturing pictures he took. He listens to your suggestions, is flexible and very good with communicating in a timely manner. Not only did he act as our photographer but also as the person who made sure we ate (as that's something you don't get a chance to do at your own wedding), helped with dress malfunctions...funny story actually... and as a friend. With the stress a wedding brings, Paul was so calm and made sure we got the pictures done without making us feel rushed or hurried. Recommended for sure!
