Amazing experience
My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Diana/Passionate Weddings. We reached out to Diana about a month and a half before our wedding date for wedding management, after having a bad experience with a previous coordinator and needing to find a new one last-minute. Even with the compressed timeline, Diana was incredible - she was always super calm and organized, and immediately made us feel as though we were in good hands. She clearly has coordination down to a science. We loved that she offered structure and guidance while also being flexible and down to follow our vision. She helped us talk through decisions we were having trouble with and always had a helpful suggestion. It was clear that she cared so much about not just making our day objectively successful, but making sure that we had the day *we* wanted. We were able to fully enjoy and be present at our ceremony and reception because we knew that she and her assistant Khai would gracefully handle any issues that arose, and we got so many compliments from our guests on how amazing she was and how smoothly our wedding ran. We are endlessly thankful that we found Passionate Weddings -- truly one of the best investments you could make for your wedding. -

Highly Recommend Passionate Weddings!
Working with Diana and Passionate Weddings was seamless! We went with the month of coordination and Diana was able to take a ton off of our plate leading up to the wedding including coordinating all other vendors. Her experience and knowledge were incredibly insightful and helped us in making decisions (as well as decisions we hadn't even thought of yet)!
From our initial meet to the wedding we knew Diana and her team were a great fit for us. They worked with our requests with ease and even thought of things ahead of time and were very attentive! Like bringing us appetizers in a small room off to the side so we could collect ourselves for a moment. We had nothing to worry about as they took care of everything, both the ceremony and reception were very smooth sailing which was definitely needed for the day!
We'd highly recommend Diana and her team to anyone, as our wedding wouldn't have been as great as it was without them! -

Absolutely Flawless
If you want a stress-free wedding day, hire Diana. We worked with her for over a year, and she was incredibly thorough. She curated a vendor team that fit our personalities perfectly and supported us through every single interview. If I had to describe our day in one word, it would be FLAWLESS.
We worked with Diana for a year, and her organization is unmatched. During the planning phase, she didn't just find vendors; she found vendors that matched our specific "vibe." She attended every interview, asking the right questions we didn’t even know to ask. Because of her detailed follow-ups and pacing, we felt completely ready for the wedding three months before the big day. She even helped me coordinate a surprise cookie treat for my husband!
On the day of the wedding, I didn't look at my phone once. Diana handled everything:
- Communication: She was the point of contact for all vendors and the wedding party.
-Problem Solving: She even fielded phone calls from lost guests so we didn't have to.
-Setup: She executed our personal décor perfectly.

If you’re looking for a wedding planner who will truly go above and beyond, look no further than Diana. She helped plan our entire wedding in just 2.5 months — and not only did she pull it off, she made the whole process feel effortless.
Diana is incredibly organized, friendly, efficient, and so easy to work with. I’m someone who likes to get things done quickly and stay on top of details, and I appreciated so much that she operates the exact same way. She kept everything moving, anticipated needs I didn’t even know we had yet, and handled every curveball with total calm and professionalism.
On top of all that, she’s just a genuinely nice person — someone you actually enjoy having by your side during such a big life moment. I’m already trying to think of another event just so I can work with her again.

Our celebration spanned multiple days with over 200 guests, and she handled every detail with professionalism, grace, and the calmest energy imaginable.

Best Decision We Ever Made!
We cannot recommend Diana Santiago with Passionate Weddings enough! From the moment we met Diana, we knew she was the perfect person to help bring our wedding vision to life. On the phone, during our initial phone call, she answered all of our questions and put us at ease as we were thinking about the day of our wedding. Diana has a ton of experience with many different cultural and religious weddings which was shown through her knowledge and dedication. She even helped us to incorporate and ensure that our dog was able to be part of our special day. We used her for month-of/day-of coordination, and she was absolutely phenomenal. Diana is incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, and always available to answer any questions that came up during the planning process.
She created an incredibly detailed timeline, communicated with all of our vendors, helped us make decisions on linen colors, and was super helpful with any small, detailed questions from the venue. On our wedding day, Diana brought two team members with her, and they were just as amazing as she is. From steaming dresses, managing photo timelines and groupings, walking around the venue with us during photos, to looking out for our guests and even helping with cleanup after the event, Diana and her team handled everything flawlessly.
Diana is hands down the best planner/coordinator out there in the DMV! If we had to do it all over again, we would hire Diana and her team 1,000 times over. Hands down, this was the best decision we ever made for our wedding! -

Seamless, Stress-Free, and So Worth It!
We hired Passionate Weddings for our month-of coordination, and we truly couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Diana was incredibly professional, detail-oriented, and supportive every step of the way. She guided us through every hurdle in the final month leading up to the wedding, kept us organized with a detailed timeline, and coordinated seamlessly with all of our vendors.
Our venue was unique and had a lot of DIY elements, so having Diana and her team onsite was absolutely essential — and honestly one of the best decisions we made during the entire planning process. We can’t recommend Passionate Weddings enough for anyone looking for calm, capable, and caring coordination for their big day! -

Passionate Weddings is the BEST!!!
Passionate Weddings with Diana Santiago guided us every step of the journey to help create an amazing wedding for our daughter and our new son-in-law. The scope of work for our wedding included onsite meetings, vendor recommendations,coordinating vendor contracts, payments and all vendor follow ups, interfacing with the local accommodations, invitations and communication with our guests throughout the wedding process. When we couldn’t make the floral on-site meeting, Diana attended and FaceTime us to helped to tweak the floral design. Throughout the process a Google document is shared and helps to keep every detail organized. The timeline Diana created of the
rehearsal and wedding day coordination and guidance was indispensable. We didn’t have to worry about anything, Diana and her team took care of all the wedding day details. Additionally, Diana is able to be both a good listener for the bride and grooms vision of their wedding and help elevate the event with additional wedding ideas and suggestions. We had a fantastic experience with Passionate Weddings and highly recommend their services. The combination of keen attention to details, consistent communication and a positive attitude really made the wedding a magical experience. -

Amazing Team
Full disclosure: I initially had my doubts about hiring a day of coordinator. Those doubts were erased when I hopped on the phone with Diana and was given the run down of the services provided. The description of “day of coordinator” does not do Justice to the services provided.
Diana and her team were absolutely professional, well organized, friendly, and provided so much help to us in the lead up to and day of the wedding.

The Best Vendor Experience We Had!
Diana and Bridget from Passionate Weddings gave us more than we could have hoped for our wedding day. They took away all of the day-of stress, working with our vendors, venue, and wedding party to make sure everything went smoothly. We greatly appreciated the effort they put in to make sure that the bride and groom were taken care of, giving attention to both individually as well as together. Small issues with other vendors were addressed and handled before we even knew about them. They advocated on our behalf when we wanted particulars from our venue, as well as when they believed other vendors had fallen short. From helping bustle the bride’s dress to collecting and setting up all decor, we truly felt like we could enjoy the day without having to worry about those things ourselves. On top of their amazing organization and execution of our wedding, we were so appreciative of their positivity and excitement throughout the time we worked with them. They were kind, approachable, great to get along with, and could also easily take control of situations when the time called for it. We cannot recommend their services enough. -

Best choice we ever made!
My wife and I hired Diana and her team at Passionate Weddings for their month-of coordinating services for a number of reasons. Firstly, it was important for us to have a bilingual coordinator, as my wife's family is Spanish-speaking, and Diana is fluent in three languages. Second, when we spoke with Diana on the phone, her extreme attention to detail stood out among the other coordinators we interviewed. From the moment we started working with her, we were so relieved to have made this choice! Diana was exceptionally responsive to all of our questions; she also provided us with recommendations that ended up panning out very well. She was organized and proactive, immediately getting in touch with all of our vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page. She sent out helpful reminders to us to make sure we were on track with everything we needed to be doing. On our wedding day, her and her team were truly MVPs. The whole day went off without a hitch, and any issue that came up (there were very few), Diana handled immediately. We truly felt that hiring her and her team was one of our best choices in the whole wedding process. I HIGHLY recommend Passionate Weddings! -

Above and Beyond Coordination Team
Diana and her day-of coordination team were amazing! I could already tell after our first phone call that she was congenial, communicative, supportive, organized, and simply everything you would want out of a coordinator. I screened a few different coordinators, but Diana just stood out.
She was incredibly helpful in the month leading up to the event. She truly went above and beyond to stay on top of all of the vendor communications, event timelines, and checking in with me and the groom. We absolutely got more than we expected in hiring Passionate Weddings!
All we heard the days after our wedding was how our wedding party, friends, and family had so much fun! Everything was so organized, yet Diana and team were able to be adaptable to any change or disruption that came up.
The year of planning would not have been worth anything without Diana's team to be there to help execute our vision. Wonderful - so pleasant to work with and on top of everything
Diana was so wonderful to work with. She was the day-of wedding coordinator for our daughter's summer wedding reception at the Hendry House in Arlington, VA. Before the big day, she met us at the site for a walk-through, provided helpful input that guided our pre-planning, reviewed all the contracts and event plans in advance to be fully prepared, and was a lifesaver on the day of the event (including running out to fetch an item that I had forgotten - crackers for the cheese platters!). I can't say enough great things about her. She is a lovely person, so pleasant and positive, putting everyone at ease. All the vendors loved her too, including the back-of-the-house staff. And she knows her stuff and has a handle on all.the.details. That was especially important for our venue where we had multiple vendors bringing everything to the site - tent, tables, chairs, etc, etc. Hire Diana and you will not regret it!
PS: She is also fluent in Spanish, which was especially important for our bilingual event. -

Went above and beyond!
Diana was an incredible coordinator who really helped us achieve the best night of our lives! She was down for any idea we had and went the extra mile with the small things to make us feel special.
For example, our friends mentioned a few days before how we love fried chicken and she had the great idea to grab us some so we can sneak away and take really fun photos!
She definitely went above and beyond our expectations with her fun personality and exceptional organization. Her response time was very quick and she easily answered all the questions we had throughout the planning process.

One of the Best wedding planner in DMV area
For engaged couples having a wedding should consider Passionate Weddings as their planner or coordinator. I worked together with Diana for the first time on a South Asian wedding at the Tysons McLean Hilton. She has excellent communication skills with her couple and vendors. Her detailed timeline cover everything a DJ needs to know about the day, name of the wedding party, the song selections, timeline you name it. With Diana's expertise, she know how to manage a large group of guests with a wedding that had lots of moving pieces. Passionate Weddings is highly recommended.

A thankful mother of the bride
My daughter chose Passionate Weddings to provide Month-of-Coordination services and I'm so glad she did. Diana paid attention to all the details, including many things we hadn't thought of. With Diana taking care of the details, we all enjoyed the wedding day with minimum stress on the Bridal party. She is a skilled communicator who stepped in to take care of things when needed and then faded to the background to let the wedding party shine. Her calm demeanor and cheerful presence is an asset. I can't imagine how the day would have gone without her support and skilled direction. -

Best Bilingual Wedding Management Business!
Diana and her team truly made our wedding day unforgettable! In 2019, my now-husband, Selvin, and I were trying to mentally prepare ourselves for the stress that comes with wedding planning. However, as soon as COVID-19 hit in 2020, we were a mess! We had our initial call with Diana before COVID-19, where we had a large expected guest list. However, we had to pause on reaching out to vendors and confirming with them because we weren’t sure what we would do in the middle of COVID-19. During the stress of it all, Diana was so patient with us as we tried to figure things out. She was there for us even BEFORE we booked her! We knew right there and then that if the wedding were to go on, Diana had to be part of it. Initially, we went back-and-forth with hiring a day-of-coordinator, but booking with Diana was the BEST decision we could have made. We began working together towards the end of October 2020, once we had downsized our guest list. She immediately began sending us everything from shared documents to lists of things to work on. I was amazed. I am detailed myself and therefore I appreciated Diana’s extreme attention to detail and efficient responses. She worked so well with both Selvin and I.
If anyone is undecided about a coordinator, I HIGHLY recommend allocating space in the budget, if possible, for Diana. The feeling of knowing that someone you trust is handling everything on wedding day is absolutely amazing! I cannot express that enough. Selvin and I were able to be 100% present with our wedding party/guests and enjoy every moment of the wedding. We never saw any of the stress that went on behind the scenes because Diana and her team managed it all! We would get updates constantly and felt supported by Diana every step of the way. Our family and guests continued to say how organized and effortless everything was- all thanks to Diana and her team! Lastly, we initially removed the “send-off” from our timeline, but Diana was able to make it happen with some of our guests – which was the perfect way to end the night. These gestures meant so much to us. After the wedding, she provided an amazing recap and even looked-out for us with anything that came up with the church/venue. Selvin and I truly felt that Diana cared to make the day as special as possible, which made the whole experience super comfortable and beautiful.

COVID Wedding Lifesaver!
Diana is an absolute lifesaver!! I started meeting potential day-of coordinators 11 months before our wedding and Diana was the only coordinator I had an instant connection with. She was responsive, punctual, professional, detail-oriented, personable, and most importantly bilingual (to accommodate my Spanish speaking family)!! She was slightly above our budget but she worked with us on a suitable compromise. Wedding planning was going great until the pandemic hit and everything shutdown. Diana was the first vendor to email us about waiving her rescheduling fees. And that’s when she became our savior. As many COVID brides know, trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic was nearly impossible. All the rules had changed and in our case our venue had temporarily closed. Once we informed Diana, she not only provided us a new venue contact but reached out to them personally to make sure we were all set. That’s just one example of how Diana went above and beyond by using her resources and determination to answer all our wedding questions and concerns. The Dream Team
Words can't express how amazing Diana, Christin, and Alyssa are and how grateful I am for them. Diana and Christin extracted every fine detail you can think of and laid it all out for the big day. They brought up details that a first-time bride wouldn't think of such as gratuity and the aftermath and much more- things that if you didn't have a planner, you would freak out about if you weren't Type A. Christin and Alyssa did a phenomenal job the day of. All I had to do was show up. They took care of every fine detail that I was worried about and effectively executed each step. It rained- I wasn't worried. The DJ forgot to announce my parents- I wasn't worried. At the end of the night, I was so wild, I couldn't remember how to tie my shoe- I wasn't worried. Christin and Alyssa literally took care of ALL of it.
Not only did they take care of it all the issues that popped up, they also had fun themselves. I've heard from a lot of vendors that sometimes the planner is more of a planzilla compared to the bride- they're not that type. They were helpful, productive, troubleshot issues but enjoy their time as well. If I were to do this all over again, they would be the first people I call, hands down. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. -

Amazing, stress free experience!
I worked with Diana from Passionate Weddings on a styled wedding shoot here in Seattle. We had a little over a month to plan everything and she wrangled together a full set of vendors, kept everything extremely organized, was always quick to respond to emails, and helped the shoot flow well. She eliminated all the stress I normally feel going into a styled shoot!
Although Passionate Weddings is new to the Seattle area, I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Diana. She is a powerhouse at planning and organizing! I love that she is bilingual and full of knowledge about cultural traditions and I’m looking forward to working with Passionate Weddings again!-

Phenomenal service. Memorable and stress-free Wedding Day.
My fiancé and I got engaged on Christmas Day of 2017. Around April of 2018, my fiancé decided that she wanted to have our wedding on our anniversary date that year – November 11. I felt the decision was a bit rash with only 7 months to plan and coordinate a wedding. Doubting that anything would materialized, I allowed my fiancé to humor her own idea of planning and coordinating a wedding. Four months into the planning, I realized that this wedding was going to happen and IMMEDIATELY encouraged her to consider acquiring a month-of wedding coordinator. It took a while for my fiancé to realize that she could not be the bride and the person to execute her vision on her wedding day – it is not possible. My sister who was also planning a wedding (2019) had mentioned to me that she had acquired a month-of wedding coordinator and was very pleased with her decision. I had asked my sister for more information which brought us to Passionate Wedding Planning Services. My fiancé chatted with Diana over a phone call and was immediately impressed by the preliminary help and advice provided during her consultation. My fiancé was so set on acquiring a month-of coordinator from Passionate Wedding Planning Services that we adjusted our wedding budget to accommodate having Diana as our month-of wedding coordinator. With four months to go until our wedding date, I could immediately sense a huge amount of weight taken off my fiancé’s shoulders. My fiancé and Diana had several email exchanges and phone conversations during the month leading up to the wedding. Details of vendors contracts, payments, wedding day timeline were meticulously combed over and refined. We had a preliminary finalized timeline a week prior to our wedding date. This PDF document covered every possible detail you could imagine relating to the wedding day. The timeline was shared with all our vendors to ensure that my fiancé’s vision for our wedding day was executed. Our wedding day was wonderful. Our photographer knew when and where to be to for photos. Diana coordinated transportation from our hotel to our photo session and to the venue. Throughout the day, I would question myself – how in the world would we have been able to pull this off without a wedding coordinator! Our wedding day was amazing. Our guest had a blast. We were even able to enjoy the food and music we selected all thanks to Diana. I would highly encourage anyone considering a month-of wedding coordinator to get one without hesitation. I hired them for "month of" wedding preparation, but our conversations started well in advance of the last month, mostly because I didn't want to leave any of the details to be finalized until the last month! I was pretty organized and kept detailed notes and contact information for my vendors, and also drafted a thorough timeline for the whole wedding weekend. But, most critical of all, Christin and Diana did an absolutely amazing job executing my timeline and all of my preparation and hard work! I felt like they were asking all of the right questions at the right time and taking care of details that I had forgotten about or just didn't have the time to take care of; either way, they were making my wedding SO MUCH BETTER. Christin put in 15 hours of work on my wedding day (10am-1am) and her assistant put in 12 hours (1pm-1am) - it's a long day! They were one of the only companies that could accommodate those long hours without charging exceptionally high rates. Given all the work, and the long hours on the day of the wedding, their price was more than fair, and their work was terrific. I wholeheartedly recommend them! -

Diana did a wonderful job planning my Son’s wedding. She worked closely with my daughter in law for over a year to make sure the day was perfect and exactly what she wanted. Diana paid attention to every detail to make sure the wedding was organized and beautiful. On the wedding day, she took care of all of the logistics so we could all enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about anything except celebrating and having a good time. Diana worked with us during the month leading up to our wedding. I interviewed countless wedding planners, and Diana made it easy to decide to work with her. I could tell by our phone conversation that she was confident, smart, professional, and would get the job done right. My intuition was correct.
From the start, Diana made herself available even before our month-of contract started if I had questions about vendors or needed advice. She sent us several forms to get started on, such as a packing list, so we had plenty of time to work on everything. She was so organized and I knew she would have everything covered.
A month out, Diana came on board full force. She immediately set up a meeting with us, set up the walk-through with our vendors at the venue, sent us a few more forms (like a template for doing the table seating), and made herself very available by email and phone whenever we had questions. Her 10-page timeline of our entire wedding day included everything, color coded, from vendor setup, to transportation for each person in our wedding party and where they needed to be and when, and so much more. She finalized the details with all the vendors, took care of setting up our personal items, and made sure the day went as planned.
Just like any wedding, our day had some hiccups. Diana rolled up her sleeves and we never even knew about these hiccups as they were happening. For example, our venue had a very short setup time, and Diana was with all the vendors doing whatever she could do help everyone set up on time. And when the band disappeared (yes, they disappeared!), she actually went to the neighboring restaurants to track them down!
Last but not least, Diana brings two associates with her. There's just no way for one person to take care of everything, so this was critical. I had one associate with me all day to hold my purse, provide water, etc.
Look no further than Passionate Weddings. It's the obvious choice!! -

I didn't think a planner was in my budget, but 2-3 months out from the wedding date, I realized I needed help! The emails were coming at a faster pace, I was having trouble keeping track of payment due dates, and I realized I still needed to figure out all the logistics like day-of timeline! Luckily, I was referred to Diana of Passionate Weddings. She was eager to help, offered guidance but did not at all try to "push" her vision or ideas, was really just a right-hand woman to help in all ways. She worked within the budget I had to provide month of coordination. Trust me, it is worth it. I had unexpected things happen - like my florist breaking her leg and being unable to do my wedding - and that is where having Diana is priceless. She recommended other vendors, made connections, and kept me CALM.
The real help is the week and day of. The week of, I must have emailed her after 2 a.m. at least five times. She was always responsive and helpful. And the day of -- WOW. People will tell you there are a lot of moving parts to a wedding, but I truly didn't realize it until I was in it. Hair, makeup, vendors, set up, people being late. I was able to hand over all the thinking and work to Diana and ENJOY the day. I could focus on what was important - marrying my husband!
I highly recommend Diana. She is organized and efficient, but has a calming presence that will be so important the day of. I am so happy and thankful she was a part of my wedding. HIGHLY recommend. -

Planning a destination wedding in Puerto Rico was no easy task, but Diana and Christin made it so much easier! We hired Passionate Weddings for month of planning services and these ladies went above and beyond the call of duty. It was a great asset to have somebody local to the DC area who knew and worked with vendors on the island. Whenever I couldn't get a hold of a vendor, Diana was ready to hop in and handle it.
