We worked with Pamela for our engagement photos, bridal portraits and wedding day photos. We were so impressed with her at each photo shoot! She helped guide my husband and I to the perfect couple poses and included beautiful details in each shot. She is very talented and has exceptional professionalism. We received our wedding day photos back very quickly and were so happy with all the details she captured. From our memory table with photos of loved ones during our reception to our bride and groom photos during cocktail hour, each photo was taken with the utmost detail. We shared our wedding album with our friends and family and received so many compliments. We are so grateful to have these wedding memories captured so that we can look back on them for years to come. We highly recommend Pamela Jahnke as your wedding photographer! -

Pam is incredible
Working with Pam was the best wedding decision we made! She is so unbelievably easy to work with, she is so kind and thoughtful! Pam took the time to get to know me and my husband and really listen to what types of photos we wanted, our vision, family dynamics, and vibe for the wedding. We did an engagement shoot a few months before the wedding and she got us comfortable in front of the camera (which turned out beautifully). She truly captured our wedding day so perfectly and we cannot stop looking at the pictures! Not only is she amazing at photography but her turn around times are unreal--within one week we had our entire wedding album completed. Please do not think twice about booking Pam, she is amazing and will capture your day beautifully--zero regrets here! -

Pamela makes everyone feel so comfortable, it’s like talking to a long time friend. When posing for millions of photos this is key because it made it so easy to follow her instructions. She was so responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. We used Pamela for engagement photos, bridal portraits and our wedding photos and we could not have asked for better. The photos came back absolutely stunning! And it was a quick turn-around too! I’m so glad we hired Pamela for all our wedding photos. I cannot recommend her enough! -

Pam did a wonderful job with our photos! We have so many great pens to choose from, it will be hard to decide which ones to print and frame. She was so nice and professional throughout the wedding day, we never had to worry about anything! And she produced the photos incredibly fast- not even a week after the wedding has gone by before we had the whole set. We would strongly recommend Pam for any wedding! -

Stunning photography
Pam truly blew us away with her photography from our wedding. The photos were absolutely STUNNING and she was such a joy to work with. She gave us direction every step of the way and was extremely kind, patient, and professional. She checked in with both of us throughout the day to make sure we had what we needed at all times. I took the bar exam a few weeks before our wedding and she even reached out to me personally the day before to wish me luck, which shows just how wonderful of a person she truly is. Hiring Pam as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made and I cannot recommend her enough! -

Pam is the best, kindest, most selfless wedding photographer that I have ever interacted with! I found her through a recommendation from my planner and I immediately felt like I was talking to my best friend. She went out of her way to get to know me and my fiance, ask questions about our dream wedding, and really listen to what we wanted in our photography. She did our engagement photos and we had the best time with her. We wanted to do them at the beach, but what we did not know was that it was going to be freezing and there were hurricane-like winds! Pam laughed with us through it all and coached us on how to get the best-looking pictures. Our photos turned out gorgeous and you would never know the disaster of the weather. I did my bridal shots with Pam and she was busy cleaning up the front of the house while I was getting in my dress. When my dress did not fit as expected, she was so positive and reassuring, helping me to keep it together. On our wedding day, she treated us as if we were the most important people in the world and worked with us to make sure we had the pictures we wanted. He also booked Thomas Blake for our videography and they were the dream team. Having Pam there made our day even more special. She is one of the nicest people I ever met. She helped me with planning throughout and had great suggestions given her experience. She is so quick to edit photos and give them back to you, which is huge when you are dying to see them after your wedding. There are so many fabulous wedding photographers in Raleigh but Pam by far is the very best. Not only will she care about you and your day but she will also become part of your family. Wedding planning can be stressful and Pam goes out of her way to decrease those stresses for her clients. I am forever grateful for her and her beautiful photos that will decorate our house for years to come. Thank you Pam! -

Pamela was super sweet and helpful throughout the whole process. She did our engagement pictures as well as the wedding photos. Not knowing much about the process and what we needed to prepare, she was super helpful in making sure both went perfect. Her picture quality is absolutely amazing and had our photos ready to view much quicker than i expected! She's absolutely wonderful to work with and youll be so happy you went with her! -

STOP LOOKING FOR A PHOTOGRAPHER AND HIRE PAM IF SHE'S AVAILABLE! Her team is not only amazing at capturing your engagement/wedding, but they are also FUN, professional and SO ORGANIZED! Her turn around and organization of photos took less than a day... Who does that!? More importantly, Pamela was literally like a second wedding planner to me! She is very seasoned in the wedding industry and knew every single thing we needed to figure out ahead of our big day in order to make sure it went as smoothly as possible. She is a wealth of knowledge and makes you feel so comfortable, behind the scenes AND in front of the camera! Part of that is due to her immense efforts at building a relationship with you ahead of time! She is like a friend to me at this point. We not only used her for our wedding and engagement shoot, but also used her partner, Thomas, for videography - DREAM TEAM! So many things go on during your wedding that you miss, and I'm so grateful we hired them to capture every last detail for us to appreciate later on through photos/video. Amazing and professional
Pamela was amazing handling our son's wedding. She and her team were hardly noticeable at the event but captured every detail of the day including the emotions. She worked with us through a pandemic delay and pulled off what I would call a perfect photo diary of the day. I definitely highly recommend her services. -

Pamela was great to work with! She was super flexible and understanding with us needing to reschedule our original date due to COVID. She was available whenever I had questions (even just random concerns) and made the whole day run smoothly. Pictures are a big budget item but working with Pamela was absolutely worth it. I love all my engagement photos and wedding pictures. Super fast turnaround for getting our gallery back too. Couldn't have asked for a better photographer. -

Pam shot our recent August wedding at the Carolina Inn. She was amazing! She was prompt to respond to my questions, shot AMAZING wedding photos, and even sent us a "sneak peek" gallery the day after our wedding! 10/10 recommend Pam for your wedding or event! -

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Pamela and her photography! We had our wedding on November 1st at the Highgrove Estate, and planning a "covid" wedding in 2020 was stressful and emotional to say the least. Pamela did my bridal portraits and wedding day photography, and I couldn't be more pleased with the photos and the experience. She was organized, detail-oriented, creative, and fun to work with. She captured moments with my friends and family that I will remember for the rest of my life. Pamela has such a positive, upbeat personality, and in some of my stressful moments she helped me to get through it all. Everything ran very smoothly and I am very impressed with the photos. I highly recommend using Pamela for your wedding photography! -

There are not enough words to describe my amazing experience of working with Pam as our wedding photographer. If you are looking for a talented, affordable, and an all-around amazing person, then you don’t need to look any further. Quit reading these reviews and go ahead and book her now! I promise her calendar is probably already full, but if you are lucky enough to squeeze into her schedule, you will not be disappointed.
I first met Pam at the Forever Bridal Show and after talking with her for just a few minutes, it felt so natural and we “clicked.” I knew that I needed to book her because her quality of work looked amazing, her prices were lower than most other photographers, and her bubbly personality was unmatched. She photographed 2 engagement sessions, my bridal session, and our entire wedding day, which was 12+ hours. My fiance nor I have ever had professional photos done so we were a little skeptical on how to pose and look natural. She was a champ throughout our engagement sessions from climbing through muddy cotton fields and braving what felt like the coldest day walking around NC State’s campus. It can sometimes be awkward to pose and kiss in front of a complete stranger, but she told us exactly what to do all while making us feel comfortable. In addition, our wedding had to be postponed (because well you know ‘rona) and she was so willing to work through us with everything! I knew I needed to find a day that worked for all of my vendors, but I didn’t want to sacrifice losing her! Luckily, I found a day that my entire vendor team could make happen and it turned out better than we could have imagined. Pam and I would talk for hours during some of the weeks and anytime she would find out information on NC’s regulations, she would call and let me know! She is invested in her clients and only wants the best for us! Anytime she found out something specific about my venue, she would call me and let me know! She did not have to do that at all, but she wanted to make sure I was looked out for and that is what true quality of service is all about!
Speaking of ‘rona, if you are concerned about a vendor who is going to make sure you are safe during the middle of this pandemic, she is also the one! Her and her team all wore masks during our wedding and she stays up to date on the governor and NC’s requirements for mass gatherings. If you follow her on instagram, she is always posting the latest updates to her stories!
Now let’s talk about her quality of work! AMAZING - that’s really all I should say! We received close to 300+ edited engagement photos, 150+ edited bridal portraits, and 1300+ edited photos in our wedding gallery. Her turn around time is outstanding with sneak peeks within 1-2 days and I never waited longer than 2 weeks for a complete gallery. Her process for uploading them is simple and easy to use with an online link that allows you to download whichever photos you would like and you can easily share the link with close friends and family. In addition, she is someone who really cares about the little details and I really appreciate that! I have so many beautiful detailed shots of our flowers, flatlay, cake, gifts, the reception hall, etc. She really takes the time to photograph those items that you spend so much time planning and organizing and it's been so fun to look back at these photos and appreciate the hard work that you put in those details!
I could go on and on about her, her team, and her work, but she is worthy of the reviews. I’m sure you will see the consistency in her reviews (talented, affordable, and the SWEETEST person you will ever work with!) Do yourself a favor and book her now! I am so thankful that I hired her as a photographer, but I came out with a friend. I can’t wait for her to continue photographing the rest of mine and my husbands’ life events! I am so thankful to have found someone like Pam!

An absolute dream!
I would recommend them for all your wedding needs! Pamela Jahnke Photography and Thomas Blake Films worked perfectly in sync - they were there for all the moments you would want to have captured for your wedding day. Great Experience - Phenomenal Photos
I hired Pamela Jahnke to photograph my daughter's wedding in November 2019, which was at a church downtown Raleigh, and for the cocktail hour and reception at The Merrimon-Wynne House. She is on their list of preferred photographers. I had a good feeling when I first met her and the videographer Thomas Blake. Their knowledge, experience, and Christian background appealed to both me and my daughter. Pam is organized and professional, prepared with tips to go over beforehand--she contacted us both by phone and email--and a friendly, reassuring, confident demeanor as she photographs, explaining clearly and gently the poses she recommends, and listening to your requests as well. We received the bridal portrait photos quickly--I have never oohed and aahed so much!--and were able to showcase one of the photos at the cocktail hour--it was so hard to pick one from all of the beautiful choices! During the wedding, she had an assistant, and they were discreet and professional throughout. Pam sent a portion of the gallery of wedding photos to us quickly by email, and then the rest were sent not long after. I cannot say enough about them! I have never seen more stunning wedding photos! I know I am biased, because they are of my beautiful daughter and my new son-in-law, but Pam captured the happiness, the radiance, and the elegance of the wedding day. We have the most amazing photos that give us joy and bring back wonderful memories every time we look at them. I highly recommend Pamela Jahnke Photography. -

Pamela was the nicest, sweetest, most professional, comforting and best photographer we could have ever asked for for our engagement shoots and wedding. The way she captured special moments between my groom and I was better than I could have hoped. She came early, was prepared, kept up with a timeline (making the day flow so easy) and was by our sides the whole night (never missing a shot). From the start of the day to the end of the night she was not only a pleasure to be around - but really took the time to capture the happiness and love we both felt. I did not think it was possible to cry anymore after the wedding - until we got our wedding pictures back!
