  Stress-Free Wedding in Highlands

  Overjoyed Weddings and Events was an incredible partner for our wedding in Highlands, NC. From the beginning, Candace brought a level of organization and clarity that made the entire process feel manageable. Even during more stressful or overwhelming moments, she was there every step of the way—steady, responsive, and always helping us move forward with confidence. One of the things we appreciated most was her perspective on design; she helped us think beyond just what we wanted and guided us to create a thoughtful experience for our guests as well. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly and according to plan, and we were able to fully enjoy it without worrying about the details. Candace is professional, knowledgeable, and truly committed to her clients—we highly recommend Overjoyed to anyone planning a wedding in Highlands or the surrounding mountain areas.

  Candace Kelly is a phenomenal wedding planner!! She is very easy to get along with and makes sure the vision of the couple is brought to life.   We had the best fall wedding in North Carolina!

  We are so thankful we hired Candace for our fall wedding in Asheville. Since we were planning from out of town it was so helpful to have someone local to be there on our behalf. We choose full planning and are so thanful we did it.

  Perfect Fit

  Candace was an amazing planner! We did partial planning, and she helped connect us to some vendors such as transportation, rentals and DJ. She helped me create the vision I wanted. She's a great communicator and checks in as frequently as necessary. She was able to be with me to check the venue site a year in advance, communicated to vendors for me, be present at the wedding rehearsal and the wedding day. I couldn't do a wedding without her and her husband!

  Excellent service, beautiful set up, a huge help all around

  Candace and her assistant Pat were absolutely the right move for us. We weren’t sure we needed help on the day of, but we thankfully went ahead and booked her and the reception went so smoothly. She made sure that we were on time and well taken care of throughout. Communication was clear and easy and she made my vision of set come alive without having discussed it in person.

  Overjoyed is Professionalism at its Best!

  We contacted Candace and Matthew Kelly, owners of Overjoyed, to help us plan our special event. From our first contact with them, we were impressed with their professionalism, experience, and ability to respond to our needs. They helped us orchestrate each step of planning for the event. They have excellent suggestions for vendors and venues and even provide rental decor! All this took the guesswork and much of the stress away from us. After seeing what the professionals can do, I will never handle a special event alone! Thank you, Candace and Matthew. We are Overjoyed!
