  Wedding and Reception

  Looking for a creative couple to take your pictures? Well, look no further! I had always dreamt of having a couples photographer for my wedding so that one could follow the girls while they were getting ready, and the other could follow the guys while they were getting ready. I was not disappointed. Their creativity, angles, lighting, and "capturing" the moment were perfect! Todd and Meredith are easy going, professional, and a lot of fun to work with. Plus, they send you your photos in digital format wrapped up nicely!

  My husband and I first met Michael Overbeek at a wedding convention. It was basically love at first site! His fantastic style of photography and professionalism are undeniable. On the wedding day he helped create a relaxed and fun atmosphere, which definitely shows in our photos! I constantly recommend and brag about Michael to anyone and everyone I can. He is THAT good!

  We found Overbeek Photography through a former customer who had nothing but GREAT things to say about his work. From our first meeting together to the wedding day and the delivery of our wedding album, everything went extremely smooth. He was a lot of fun to be around, easy to get along with and made us feel very comfortable from the beginning. We look forward to having many more pictures of our future family done by Mike. If you are looking for someone that is easy going, EXTREMELY creative, fast and efficient with a beautiful finished product, then look NO FURTHER....Overbeek Photography will not disappoint!!!!!!

  Michael Overbeek (and his assistant) were amazing at our wedding last August on Lake Michigan. He remained opened to what I wanted to create within the photographs while still using his experience and knowledge to create the best pictures possible. His ability to see what my husband and I wanted in our photos, our personalities, and the general vibe of our wedding made our photographs that much more personable. I asked him to get in the waters of a Lake Michigan on our wedding night towards the end of our reception for some "trash the dress" shots. I was afraid that he was going to give me an odd look when we discussed this during a pre-wedding meeting, but he was up for whatever I wanted to do. It was more than amazing and we got some incredible pictures that were taken just right - the moon and cliffs in the background were amazing! His collaboration didn't stop after our wedding. We continued to the communicate as Michael made my husband and I an incredibly unique wedding album. I would highly recommend Michael for not only wedding photography, but any event or occasion.

  We planned our wedding top to bottom and one of our main concerns was our photography, it was so nice working with Michael at Overbeek Photography. He worked around our busy schedules and made the most of every session. We never felt like we weren't getting his full attention and the final product shows. He and his assistant worked perfectly together on our wedding day handling every aspect with class and a great attitude. We thoroughly enjoyed dealing with Michael, our pictures and album look amazing, and the price was nothing short of fair.

  Michael was very professional. He was easy to get in touch with and very organized. He is also very personable, which is very important since your photographer will work so closely with you on the big day. The pictures turned out very well and we got to see them very quickly. Also very affordable. I Would gladly reccomend Overbeek photography to anyone.

  Michael did a fantastic job with everything. First he did our engagement photos which all turned out great. At the wedding he fit in well with the wedding party and family members and made everyone feel relaxed. Everything went very smoothly and the pictures are gorgeous. We purchased an album through Mike and have gotten tons of compliments. He kept in touch with me throughout the entire process of choosing pictures and other details of the album. He has been nothing but attentive and prompt at anytime when I have had questions. I highly recommend him!

  Outstanding Photographer! He came recommended by a friend. So easy to work with. He didn't miss a moment. I would highly recommend them. Our pictures were ready when we were back from our honeymoon. So glad that we have such an awesome collection of memories of our special day!

  When looking for a photographer for my wedding, I had no idea where to start. One of my friends went through Michael Overbeek, and told me he was great! Michael met with us before the wedding and told us exactly what to expect on the day of our wedding. Michael and his assistant both had great ideas, and our pictures turned out awesome! Michael had all of our pictures ready for us by the time we got back from our honeymoon.   The photos were amazing, Michael and Kim were able to capture every moment, even ones we didn't know happened until we got the pictures back. The video slide show that we were presented for each of our attendants at the end was amazing and we lok forward to picking out our albums and prints.

  My husband and I were SO pleased with Overbeek Photography! Michael was professional and personable... one of our favorite memories of our wedding day was getting our pictures taken downtown. Michael is extremely creative and people still oooh and ahhh over our wedding pictures... they're not the typical standing at the church alter pictures. He also did a great job capturing the special moments. Michael also worked with our budget, was flexible and fair. He figured out a way that we could afford his services. Overall, Michael did an EXCELLENT job and we would recommend him to anyone getting married!

  I could not have asked for a more personable, flexible photographer. My family and I enjoyed having Michael at our wedding as our photographer, but he made a great guest also! He was extremely personable, and made sure all of the photos my husband and I wanted were captured. We wanted more candid type pictures of guests and our pictures came out fabulous. Our photo album is gorgeous, and compared with many of my friends who have recently gotten married, the value of the service Michael provides beats out most competitors. You will not go wrong with Overbeek photography.

Michael (the photographer) was very interested in helping to create the perfect day for us. He is creative, yet classy, quite talented, and really just a nice guy. When planning my wedding, I knew that choosing a photographer was an important decision because he would be with me all day long - I certainly didn't want to be dissapointed with my choice! Needless to say, I was thrilled with him! We had so much fun! Honestly, working with Micheal Overbeek as our photographer was the best choice we made in the entire wedding planning process!

The day was so crazy and it was really nice having a real professional there giving us ideas and telling us the way pictures would turn out the best. Everyone at the wedding said he did a terrific job. The best parts were the album that he put together for us and the fact that he provided a special dvd for everyone in my wedding party. The album turned out absolutely amazing!!! I've gotten so many compliments on the lay out and the overall look of it. We couldn't believe how great it turned out. I even looked good in the pictures, and I NEVER look good in pictures! Michael really helped to make us look and feel terrific on our big day. If you are able to book him, I HIGHLY recommend it!!!!!!

  We were extremely pleased with the job that Michael did with our wedding. He is very creative, detailed, and professional photographer that takes pride in the quality of his work. He processed our photos very quickly and was extremely flexible to any request or change that we needed . I would highly recommend him to any couple getting married in West Michigan.

  Overbeek Photography is an excellent choice for weddings for many reasons. Not only is Overbeek amazing quality and cost, but Michael Overbeek is personable, professional, on time, flexible, and has a gift for making people feel beautiful and calm in any moment. He'll capture the beautiful details and moments you remember, as well as those you never saw, in an artistic and professional presentation. He is able to photograph every moment without being invasive, and his calm demeanor is an asset to any situation.

  Mike Overbeek's photos are amazing. We are extremely happy with everything he provided for us. His style of photography was exactly what we wanted and he offered suggestions to our day that made everything go smoothly. We didn't have to worry about a thing as he made sure all important photos were taken PLUS a lot more! Very creative too!!

  We were impressed with Michael from the start. Our first meeting with him was very professional and thorough, and we knew we weren't going to look at anyone else to be our wedding photographer. Throughout the wedding day Michael was helpful, calm, and captured the day without ever interfering in the events. He was mindful of the nuances of the day and took creative and beautiful shots. We were quite pleased with his collected and knowledgeable manner throughout the day. We are extremely happy with the results--many pictures are breathtaking and better than we could have ever hoped. They are more exciting and interesting than we expected. We could not have found any match in value and price, and we appreciate all of the hard work put into capturing our wedding day!

  Michael did an excellent job from beginning to end. He was calm and professional and the pictures are very nice. I thought he was a bit pricey, but his work IS excellent!
