Brooke is soooooooooo on top of her game! Thought of everything! So fast in responding to emails that sometimes I got answers before I sent the email with my questions. She is well experienced and is super, super patient and always has a helpful response and awesome vendors/contacts. Thank you Brooke! I have no idea how I would have planned any of our wedding without your detail oriented and organized guidence.Brooke is soooooooooo on top of her game! Thought of everything! Krista knows what she's doing, so listen to what she says!!!
We were somewhat hesitant at first about going with a wedding planner, wondering (as many couples do) if it was REALLY necessary to have a planner…. by the way, it IS! Having a wedding planner, or at least a wedding planner like Krista with Orange Blossom, makes life so much easier! She works amazingly with other vendors…she organizes, coordinates, and simplifies everything. In a nutshell, she gets things done!! She gets answers, and she communicates information promptly.
I saw another review on here saying that sometimes she would answer questions before they could even ask them…and I would have to agree! Krista would keep us updated regularly on everything going on, and literally answer questions before we had a chance to ask. She even had answers to questions we didn't even know we needed to ask!
We are so pleased that we had the opportunity to have Krista help us on our wedding day, because we know it would not have gone so smoothly without her.
Once Krista took our wedding into her hands, we felt a great sense of ease. We would highly recommend Krista and Orange Blossom Events to plan/coordinate your special day.

My, now, husband :) and I worked with Brooke to make our wedding happen. She was wonderful. Leading up to our wedding she was enthusiastic yet grounded about ideas I ran by her. Two days before our wedding I wanted to book a band. I thought this wouldn't go over very well because I imagined that she'd have so much to change because of it but, she was awesome! With her usual bright and upbeat way she just got it all coordinated and we had a blast. She took care of everything and our day ran so smooth. She's professional, attentive and a great problem solver -- just fantastic.My, now, husband :) and I worked with Brooke to make our wedding happen. She was wonderful. Couldn't ask for a better wedding planning coordinator than Brooke! She had my wedding day running smoothly! She was very responsive to all my e-mails from day one! She would go beyond her contractual obligations to assist you. She was amazing! I highly recommend her for your wedding coordinator. Krista was super amazing! I'm a highly organized individual so it was hard finding someone that could meet my standards. Upon meeting Krista, I could tell right away that she was the coordinator for me. She is so detailed, she pays attention to your wants and needs, and she takes care of any of your duties listed.
I remember asking her simple things and wanting to know details about hotel parking costs, transportation, etc.. She responded super quick each time! It really wasn't her job to call and ask certain things but she did it anyway, I thought that was super helpful for the stress I was going through.
I know that hiring her was the best thing because I can relax and let her take care of all the things needed. She is what every bride needs, reliable and trustworthy.Krista was super amazing! Krista is amazing! I decided at the last minute that I wanted a wedding planner and I am so glad I did. She made my special day run so smoothly! Initially, cost may tend to keep brides from hiring a coordinator for their wedding but with a coordinator like Krista, you get so so much more back. Trust me, its worth it!!!! Krista took the stress away from wedding planning. She helped with design as well as month-of services-- both were priceless. She is all the things the previous reviewers said and more. Organized, artistic, friendly, professional, and well-connected. She gets things done without being pushy and somehow makes it all seem easy and stress-free. She was always there with a fast response if I needed her or was worried about something in particular.
What my family and I appreciated most about Krista was her ability to understand us and our needs. I know people can get skeptical when you firewall someone with 5 stars down the line, but Krista REALLY IS that AMAZING. I'm definitely a control freak with an eye for detail, so when it came to my wedding I wanted to make sure every possible detail and contingency was planned for AND I wanted to enjoy the day. Tall order, I know. I initially started planning everything out myself, but knew I wanted someone for the day-of. Right from the start, Krista treated me like I was a hugely important client with an enormous wedding (which I really wasn't). As the day got closer, I got really busy at work and ended up working with her for the two months prior, instead of just the day-of. Her flexibility was invaluable to me. In retrospect, I really should have just hired her right from the beginning to plan the whole thing - she is well worth it and has very reasonable rates.
The entire experience of working with her was incredibly enjoyable. She's personable, very professional, knows the San Diego area wedding biz and is a lot of fun to work with. She was absolutely a God-send on the day of my wedding, keeping all the logistics in order, taking care of my husband and I and allowing me to just enjoy the best day of my life.
I would hands-down recommend her to my sister, my best friend and to you! Krista can only be described as an absolute lifesaver! I may have gone crazy if I did not have her there by my side during the planning process and especially the day of the wedding.

To whom it may concern:
Back in winter of 2005, my then-fiancé and I undertook the daunting task of planning our San Diego wedding from 6000 miles away in Taiwan. At the time, we had to weigh the obvious benefits of retaining a coordinator locally against the constraints of our budget, which was compounded by the expense of getting ourselves and my fiancés friends and family members across the Pacific Ocean!
After having contacted a large number of coordinators, we finally settled upon Krista Romberg, mainly because her patience, thoroughness and down-to-earth style in corresponding with me by email just put me at ease. In spite of our having chosen only the minimal, day-of-wedding service her agency offered, Krista was persistent in contacting me throughout the half a year leading up to our wedding often going out of her way to touch bases when I lapsed in keeping her up-to-date about our planning. She mustve spent hours supplying me with the much-needed information and guidance that allowed our wedding to come into shape via Internet.
However, it was not until we actually arrived in San Diego just two weeks before the wedding that we found out correct our decision had been. At that time, in spite of all our preliminary arrangements, we got the sense that there was no way on Earth that this event could actually crystallize out of a bunch of disparate emails! That was until we finally met Krista in person. What was supposed to be a quick lunch meeting turned into five hours, during which she answered question after question, while still making every effort to get to know us and make the experience pleasant. At absolutely no benefit to herself, she took on several of the numerous tasks Id yet to handle so that our load would be lightened. In that space of hours, our worries were lifted, and our confidence went from nothing to 100%
During the week between that meeting and the wedding, Krista was in touch with me either by phone or by email on a daily basis. I still had plenty of last minute arrangements and issues to sort out, and had come to realize that having retained Krista for a longer term of service would have been a smart move! Nevertheless, she cheerfully helped me sort things out, never begrudging me a minute of her time.
Finally, on the big weekend, Krista and her assistant did everything possible to make our wedding exactly the way wed wanted it to be. She kept things moving, sorted out minor issues and allowed us to just have fun and always with a beaming smile on her face. Perhaps the biggest endorsement I can give is the fact that even my nitpicky and impossible-to-please bride was simply ecstatic with the results!
Above and beyond her excellent service, what impressed me most about Krista Romberg was simply her attention to my wife and I as people instead of clients. Rather than encouraging us in our tendency to obsess over trivial details, she constantly reminded us that it would all be over before we knew it and that we ought to focus on enjoying it over anything else a sentiment to which I now whole-heartedly concur. She made our happiness her biggest priority, and thats why I am pleased to recommend the services of Krista Romberg to any inquirer.
