  Celebration of Life for my husband

  Holly and Sarah were on top of everything. Nothing slipped by them and they brought me great relief while planning something so emotional. I would absolutely use them again, I wouldn't go anywhere else and I would definately recommend them to anyone planning a big event. The are calm and confident and for good reason...it's because they really know what they are doing.

  Perfect Wedding - Stress Free!

  One Fine Day, specifically Holly, was the best decision we made throughout our planning. Holly stayed in constant contact with us throughout the planning period and then on the day of (and rehearsal) she made everything a BREEZE!
  
  She also helped orchestrate a surprise visit by Boba Fett and Storm Troopers thanks to the local 501st Legion. I know it's cliché to say, but it was legitimately a perfect day and that is in no small part due to Holly's efforts.
  
  DEFINITELY recommend!

  Sarah, you are so so special and deserve all the praise in the world. Your input, passion, coordination, and understanding of what we wanted are all what made our day so special. You truly are amazing!! You were so attentive and took control of every detail so that we could all enjoy our day. We couldn't have done it without you. Thank you again for your friendship and for making our fairytale wedding come true!

  AMAZING experience with Kathi

  We were lucky enough to have Kathi as our day of coordinator- however, she did SO MUCH MORE than just coordinate our wedding day. Kathi was with us from the beginning- we actually picked Oxford Exchange as a venue because she led our tour and we thought "wow, this is someone who is going to take care of us". And she did! She is incredibly knowledgeable, dependable, and prepared. She walked us through timelines, important decisions, family opinions, and advocated for us when we disagreed with our vendors. She was there from the first minute of our wedding day and made sure it ran FLAWLESSLY- even getting stuck in a downpour so we could stay dry. We had family and friends remark to us on how evident it was that she deeply cared that our wedding day was the day WE wanted. If you have the opportunity to use Kathi as your coordinator, DO NOT HESITATE! She is worth every penny and more!!

The wedding was flawless and everything we dreamed of, in no small way because of Sarah and her staff. She steered us to good decisions from the smallest details to grandest inspiration. I shake my head when I hear other moms hoping to, "save money." Sarah saved us over and over again from costly missteps. Nothing prepares you for planning a wedding in your own family. Sarah was calm, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, creative, and has unparalleled contacts in our community. The next time we have a family or corporate event to plan, she will be the first person we call!

  Carolina is great!

  I owe all of the success of our beautiful wedding day to Carolina at One Fine Day. She is responsive, kind, thorough, and creative. My father (father of the bride) throws events for a living, and let me tell you, he is a tough cookie. Carolina blew him away with her organization and attention to detail. Being an out-of-town bride required a lot of email communication, which she understood and accommodated (she even filmed a video tour for me!)   Sarah was amazing, our day went off without one single flaw! She made the planning process easy, had wonderful ideas and handled my indecisive yet picky personality without even blinking. Sarah's calming demeanor helped me stay calm throughout this very stressful process. Sarah was able to work around my busy scheduled to go to vendor appointments and kept in contact with my mother and I weekly. As every bride knows there are things you forget or don't think of, when I would bring it up to Sarah she already had it handled. The week before my wedding I did not have to worry about a thing, surprisingly it was one of the least stressful weeks of my life. Sarah was able to manage our 20 plus wedding party and keep them in line. She remained calm even when I made changes to the decor the week before and even had some ideas of her own that had a huge impact on our reception. On my wedding day Sarah was by my side the entire time, at least that is how I felt, during the reception I would need something and Sarah was there. I cannot say enough about Sarah and Brooke!

Being an out of state bride, I needed a full service planner who could guide me with my design choices and help me choose the best vendors in the area that matched my style and budget. Sarah did all that and more! Thanks to her and her wonderful team, my wedding planning process was seamlessly smooth and I enjoyed every second of working with them! No request was to big. No detail was forgotten about. Sarah readily made herself available to respond to every question I had, and was a wonderful person to bounce my ideas off of and get advice from. On the wedding day itself, Sarah was there from the time I started getting ready until the last guest left the reception. She made sure our wedding day went off without a hitch, and my groom and I, as well as our families, could just relax and enjoy the special day. The vendors she recommended performed flawlessly and the events were choreographed down to the minute. Of all the money we spent on our wedding, and it was substantial, Sarah and One Fine Day provided us with the best value for the simple reason that without her guidance, it would not have been the overwhelming success that it was. Choose OFD and listen to her recommendations.

The day of the wedding was flawless and she seemed to be everywhere…from setting up in the tent to getting my daughter into her dress to coordinating the reception.

  We recently worked with Sarah at One Fine Day and she did an amazing job! She coordinated with all of our vendors, and was there from the morning to the very end of our wedding. The entire day of was SO much less stressful because we knew the Sarah would handle any issues. She anticipated so many things throughout the day, and anytime I needed something she just happened to be right there. She has one assistant with her, and he did a great job as well. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and I would highly recommend her. Our wedding went incredibly smoothly and perfectly and we know the reason why is because she was there behind the scenes for us!

  When I first met with Sarah the first thing that I noticed was how CALM she was - while I sat there all nervous and anxious, worring about literally everything - she was completely calm and understanding. I didn't have my mom's help at all for planning my wedding and having never been involved in a wedding like this before - had no idea what was typical or expected of me. She provided me with so much guidance on what I needed to be doing and what she would handle too. To make planning this wedding even more complicated, I travel to another state each for work and am only available for vendor meetings on Fridays or weekends. To try to touch base and keep me on track - I would e-mail Sarah long winded lists of what I was working on for the wedding, questions and worries I had, and asked for statuses on where she was with items she was handling - I have no idea if this is normal for brides to do but she went with it and helped keep me from going completely insane while planning the biggest party of my life. She helped us with the budget and although we went over - I feel sure that we got the best vendors that we could. Our band decided to break up 2 months before our wedding and Sarah was able to contact the band members and find a resolution so that we didn't end up with a true problem on our hands - the band got a new lead singer to play during the reception and the old lead singer played during cocktail hour - a nice resolution that prevented us from having to find a new band. It is so hard to envision what your reception will look like but Sarah was able to help my vision come together and I'm so thankful. I know that given my worrying ways and perfectionism that I'm not the easiest to please and Sarah still managed to help us coordinate a beautiful day. I have had countless friends/family tell me that it was the by far the best wedding and reception they'd ever been to! Thank you so much, Sarah!!

  When I first met with Sarah the first thing that I noticed was how CALM she was - while I sat there all nervous and anxious, worring about literally everything - she was completely calm and understanding. I didn't have my mom's help at all for planning my wedding and having never been involved in a wedding like this before - had no idea what was typical or expected of me. She provided me with so much guidance on what I needed to be doing and what she would handle too. To make planning this wedding even more complicated, I travel to another state each for work and am only available for vendor meetings on Fridays or weekends. To try to touch base and keep me on track - I would e-mail Sarah long winded lists of what I was working on for the wedding, questions and worries I had, and asked for statuses on where she was with items she was handling - I have no idea if this is normal for brides to do but she went with it and helped keep me from going completely insane while planning the biggest party of my life. She helped us with the budget and although we went over - I feel sure that we got the best vendors that we could. Our band decided to break up 2 months before our wedding and Sarah was able to contact the band members and find a resolution so that we didn't end up with a true problem on our hands - the band got a new lead singer to play during the reception and the old lead singer played during cocktail hour - a nice resolution that prevented us from having to find a new band. It is so hard to envision what your reception will look like but Sarah was able to help my vision come together and I'm so thankful. I know that given my worrying ways and perfectionism that I'm not the easiest to please and Sarah still managed to help us coordinate a beautiful day. I have had countless friends/family tell me that it was the by far the best wedding and reception they'd ever been to! Thank you so much, Sarah!!

  Make your special day really wonderful for you and your parents. Hire Sarah Fairbairn to help you with your wedding. Our Florida wedding was on an island with the bride & groom in New York City, the bride’s parents in Illinois and the groom’s parents in another part of New York. All 140 guests were from out of town. Difficult…YES. But Sarah was fabulous. And to make it even more difficult, just as we were to start taking pictures it started to RAIN (after 10 weeks of perfect sunny weather). But Sarah handled it all with calm and efficiency. Sarah worked with the florist to hold the cost of flowers down and covered most of her fees in doing so. She was fabulous in everything from organizing, filling and distributing all the Welcome Bags to helping us decide on an additional tent for the ceremony to holding the umbrellas for us as we entered the venue in the rain. She could not have been more wonderful and efficient.
  After the hours of celebration, we arrived home and here comes Sarah and her assistant Natalie with the bride’s bouquet, a vase to put it in, the rest of the cake and other flowers from the reception to decorate our home. Sarah coordinated 3 events for us for wedding weekend; a Welcome Dinner for 124, the Wedding Ceremony and Reception for 140 and a Brunch on Sunday for 100. And the rain didn’t fluster her in the least. Five stars are not enough for this lovely, unflappable woman. Sarah, many thanks for the most wonderful day of our lives.

  I just recently got married and one of the best decision about the wedding beyond the dress and the groom was Sarah! She is fabulous, a live saver, calm, and friendly. Do yourself a huge favor--involve Sarah in your day. She caught every detail, helped things run perfectly on the day of and for the rehearsal. Sarah was so on top of things that on the day of the wedding I didn't have to worry because I knew that she would take care of everything.
  
  For example, the day of the wedding also happened to be my now husband's sister's birthday. I had ordered a special cupcake to be delivered along with the wedding cake, so that the my husband and I could give it to her. MY first mistake is I forgot to tell Sarah about the cupcake. So when the cake vendor didn't bring the cupcake and I did not realize this until during the reception. Sarah sprang into action instantly found a little cake, candles, lit the candles, and signaled the band to sing happy birthday all in about 5 minutes. It was downright AMAZING!
  
  Sarah helped bustle my dress, orchestrate the schedule, calm my mom down--she did everything. She helped find linens for the reception and glasses for the cocktail hour. She did the last minute coordinating with all of the vendors and helped the reception turn into the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. She had awesome suggestions about the order events to keep the reception flowing, decor ideas, and was spot on about everything. I would absolutely recommend Sarah to anyone and everyone. According to my mom, "Sarah is worth more than her weight in gold."

Sarah is an amazing coordinator and really helps the Bride to feel at ease on such a stressful day. Sarah is prepared for any and all situations that may arise on the day of your wedding and helps to make everything run perfectly. Although I only hired Sarah for the "day of" she made sure that I knew if I had any questions or needed advice for the months leading up to the wedding that she was always available.
