Katie was AMAZING, kind, organized, and super responsive to emails and texts. Best wedding planner I could’ve asked for! She helped me so much leading up to the wedding with finalizing details, figuring out the timeline, finding linens, and communicating with vendors. She was on top of things since day one of booking her and made this whole process stress free! On the actual wedding day, I didn’t worry about one thing and honestly have no clue if anything went wrong. It literally went so smoothly and was the best day ever thanks to Katie!! -

If there is one thing I recommend doing for your wedding, it is hiring Katie with One Fat Dove! I am personally extremely organized and pay a lot of attention to details and Katie was even more organized than me! She thought of so many things that would have never occurred to us and I am convinced that our wedding would not have been as wonderful as it was without her. From the very beginning, Katie was super responsive to emails and she honestly made the entire wedding planning process a breeze. On our wedding day we had a few vendor mishaps (at no fault of Katie's!) and she handled it effortlessly and not a single guest knew anything went wrong. Not only is Katie a great wedding planner, but she is great at making you feel supported throughout your big day and truly cares about you and your wedding. It is so hard to find great vendors, so Katie is truly a gem! Do yourself a favor and book with One Fat Dove! -

Everyone needs Katie to be part of their wedding. The woman is amazing. She made all my wedding dreams come true. There are not enough words to describe how thankful and grateful we are for Katie and her team. She is an absolute ROCKSTAR as a wedding planner and as a person. She made our wedding day so perfect and beautiful! From the beginning of the wedding planning process she always made us feel heard, gave great advice and was always just an email or call away when we had any last minute questions. She was thoughtful, organized and professional no matter what was thrown her way. On the day of our wedding, she did a phenomenal job making the venue look absolutely beautiful and for making it the most stress free day for my husband and I. I still can’t believe how perfect every detail was and how much love went in to planning that day. She went above and beyond our expectations, and it was best decision we ever made hiring her. We could not have done it without her kindness and support. Highly recommend if you want the best!! -

I cannot say enough good things about Katie and her team! Hiring Katie as our day-of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made. Since the day we signed the contract, (about 6-8 months prior to our wedding) she started planning with us the wedding schedule and important meeting dates. She is very knowledgeable and knew all the right questions to ask our vendors during detail meetings. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond to make our dream wedding a reality! She was extremely prepared and knew exactly how to handle any situation. There was a couple of hiccups throughout the day, but none of our guests ever found out because Katie and her team would swiftly and seemingly fix them! We are forever grateful to One Fat Dove for their dedication to our special day! -

Katie was truly amazing to have our at wedding! We hired her as our month-of coordinator. She was very personable, professional, and organized and kept our rehearsal and wedding day stress-free! She responds very fast to emails and text messages and keeps you updated periodically leading up to the wedding day. She communicated very well with all our wedding vendors. My husband and I were able to enjoy and celebrate on our wedding day and not think about any behind-the-scenes logistics. MAKE THIS A PRIORITY INVESTMENT! Katie & her team were an absolute blessing to work with! I cannot stress how helpful and important it is to make sure you have an experienced wedding coordinator. Long story short - Katie basically saved my wedding photos from being a complete disaster…yes, no exaggeration. I'm super type A personality and thought that I could do everything myself... NO! Do yourself a favor and invest in this service & make sure you go to One Fat Dove because they're seriously the best with communication, creativity, reliability and the kindest hearts you will ever meet! Talk about having a wedding coordinator that you feel like you've known all your life, because that's basically what working with Katie & Katie was like. I was totally on the fence about choosing a wedding planner because I had worked for a wedding planner in the past and thought I could do it all myself. I decided that I probably didn’t want all that stress especially once my day got closer so I hired Katie and her team as a month of planner. Katie was helpful from the very beginning even though my wedding was MONTHS away! She had a rough draft timeline to me within a couple days for me to go over and make any changes to, which I think is pretty awesome, considering I chose only month of! Katie and her assistants completely made it worry and stress free the day of my wedding. I seriously cannot imagine if they wouldn’t have been there. They were rockstars! I seriously cannot say enough good things about them. I also cannot say enough HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER!! Don’t put that stress on yourself— but more importantly hire Katie and her team— I promise you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! Thank y’all for EVERYTHING and making our day literally perfect! Katie and One Fat Dove is worth their weight in gold! If you are on the fence about getting a coordinator, just do it, and pick her!
She was reccomended by our cake baker when we were answering questions for the day of, including the day of contact. I wanted a coordinator but my now husband wasn't convinced it was necessary. Our baker basically said, well worst case scenario, I get a flat tire while delivering your cake, I'm going to need someone to call and I don’t want to be bothering you with that and the hubby started to see the light. I contacted One Fat Dove the next day.
From the start she was friendly and answered any questions I had from the fiancè. She didn't pressure me in that first call, went over all of our questions, sent a contract for us to look over. I was immediately sold. It was like I was talking to an old friend.
She was extremely helpful with our covid postponement as well. Once we got the date figured out, she took charge of getting all the updated contracts.
I was incredibly overwhelmed (in a good way!) with the timeline she had sent me. There were so many things on there I would have never thought about and at some points the day was broken down into 10 minute increments. I really don't think we would have pulled off our wedding without her.
She was always quick to reply to emails and helped calm me down when I had a covid wedding freak out moment. I felt much better after talking with her about her experiences so far.
We did have a few phone calls to fill out any questions they had for me on the timeline and to tweak it a little here and there. It was all perfect and ready a few weeks ahead.
Now the day of.... HOLY COW! I didn't have to do anything at all! The hubby was super impressed and after was like dang, yeah she was more than worth it!
We brought our boxes into the venue and they took over. Everything was perfect. I had sent a few pictures of my centerpiece plan and they nailed it! They popped in a few times to ask some questions while we were getting ready, but other than that, if there were any hiccups or anything at all, I wouldn't have known. She made the day completely stress free!
She was also an expert dress fluffer, making my train beautiful for our pictures. Our photographer also commented on the detail of the timeline and wished he could work with her all the time. She was also great with our dj too. They didn't let up all night and kept everything going more than perfect! By the end of the night everything was packed up and down to less boxes than we came in with. I was in awe all night of how awesome they were!
Seriously, you will not regret hiring One Fat Dove! I could go on forever about our amazing experience and I am so thankful for Katie making our day perfect! -

She responds in a timely manner, handles every situation (with grace and ease), and has a really great way of adapting to an idea. The planning process couldn’t have gone any smoother—it was all because of Katie. During the planning stages, a few times I felt a little overwhelmed; Katie stepped right in and handled everything she could for me. Coming into my rehearsal dinner and wedding day, Katie went into ‘Boss Lady’ mode in the best way possible. If there was ever a problem that day, I never heard a word about it! She handled everything from setup to tear down; my whole family had nothing but kind words to say about her and especially loved that she made tear down so quick and easy. Katie kept everything on schedule and running in a smooth manner. I have nothing but amazing things to say about her! -

She took the reins on communicating with our vendors the month of our wedding, which was especially helpful the two weeks leading up to our special day! She is prompt, professional, organized, honest, down-to-earth, and gave very helpful advice regarding vendors and tips/tricks of the wedding world! I cannot imagine what I would have done without her! Not to mention, she is super sweet and accommodating. Hiring Katie @ One Fat Dove was by far the very best decision I made all throughout wedding planning. We used her for “month of” services but let me tell you, this girl made me feel like she she had my back from the very first second of our initial phone call more than 5 months out. She attended meetings with me, responded to emails and chased other vendors on my behalf, and created a Beautiful master timeline that all vendors adhered to... and that is only the tip of the iceberg. Katie is not only good at what she does professionally, she is a GOOD person, literally one of the sweetest and most genuine human beings I’ve ever met. Whenever I felt even a tiny bit anxious or insecure she knew exactly what to say or what to do to calm my nerves, ESPECIALLY the day of my wedding. She is an amazing advocate for the bride and groom and literally thought of everything I didn’t, and completely took the reins so that I could truly enjoy my day and focus on marrying the love of my life. My wedding day ended up being everything I had imagined and hoped for, and I owe a lot of that to Katie!! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. -

If you're even considering whether to hire a coordinator, the answer is YES- it IS worth every penny. Having worked in this industry for years, the most common phrase I hear from a couple post wedding is "it was a blur" or "I never even tasted the food". I didn't want this for myself, nor did I want my mom to shoulder the responsibility for making sure things went smoothly- so I called Katie and she was nothing less than heroic. I remember everything about my wedding day. I hugged and spoke to every single guest. I danced with my Grandma and actually sat next to my husband and ate the food we'd painstakingly selected. I have no idea how the decorations and gifts made it to my mom's car by the time the valet returned it, only that she didn't lift a finger and neither did any of my family. It was perfect and I remember every moment, and I will tell every bride from now on that this is as it should be. THANK YOU KATIE & HOPE!! -

Katie from One Fat Dove was amazing! She went above and beyond what I expected from leading up to the big day to the wedding itself. We had a little issue with linens from the caterer and Katie was a savior in getting things back on track quickly. I was able to fully enjoy my day knowing Katie had everything under control. There isn't enough space here to write everything we love about Katie! She is AMAZING. We hired her for our day-of coordination and she was all that and MORE! Katie was always accessible, always gave an honest, well-thought out opinion when needed, and was just overall a lifesaver and friend. Katie even drove to my home on a Sunday after hearing some anxiety in my voice and talked out details for hours until I felt better. :) I've never heard of or seen a vendor go out of their way like her. She pays close attention to detail, is SO organized, and made our wedding flow better than we could have ever dreamed. It was beautiful in every way and in large part because Katie used her creative eye to make it look PERFECT. We felt care free and truly got to enjoy the day knowing she was there and taking care of business! Our friends, family, and even other vendors kept complimenting her and her work ethic. There are so many decisions to be made in wedding planning and hiring Katie, by far, is one of the best decisions we could have made! SHE IS THE BEST! -

I don't know how I would have done it with out her. The venue was not set up correctly and Katie spoke to them and got it fixed. Every time I was going to something she was right behind me to take care of it. We went over the plans for my daughters wedding and every thing happened as scheduled. They went to do the first dance and the lights were lowered as planned. I didn't even have to think about it. She made some wonderful decorating suggestions and organizational suggestions. Always asking my approval first. She also got everyone involved to help and gave them directions on what to do. My only regret is that I didn't hire her sooner and put a wedding planner into my budget. I thought I could save money without one, but it's not worth it. It's best to put it in the budget and enjoy the day. I highly recommend One Fat Dove. 170 guests.
