Donna was super communicative leading up to the wedding - I think she went above and beyond what a typical "day-of coordinator" does in this way. We toured the venue with us, recommended vendors and met with us several times both with and without the venue. She was also super helpful during the rehearsal in taking the reins there. On the actual day, Donna made sure things went smoothly. One thing my mom and I especially appreciated was that when the greenery arrived, it wasn't quite long enough for what we envisioned. Donna quickly came up with a solution by weaving some bouquets into the greenery and made it look super nice.

Donna and her staff went above and beyond what I had hired them for. Everyone on the staff was efficient and friendly. The weather was not cooperative but still everything planned went off without a hitch due to On the Go’s quick thinking and willingness to go the extra mile.

Donna is amazing!
Hiring Donna to coordinate our wedding day was the best decision we made! We had our wedding at an estate and our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all located in different areas throughout the property. Donna made sure all phases of our day ran smoothly and things were set up beautifully. Her interactions with our wedding party and family/friends was great and she kept us all running on schedule. Through the last few months prior to wedding day, Donna helped us consider logistics that we would have never thought of and it made a huge difference in how the day panned out. Donna made our big day possible!! I felt a sense of relief as soon as I hired her. Although she was our "day of coordinator," she scheduled several calls with me in the weeks leading up to the wedding and reached out to all of our vendors in advance to put together a thorough timeline. Our wedding was very DIY, and I quite literally don't think we could've pulled it off without Donna! She kept everything running smoothly on the big day so I could just enjoy myself. She also ran our wedding rehearsal the day before. She seemed to think of every little detail, which was ESSENTIAL for such a DIY event. There were farm animals at our venue, and Donna even helped wrangle a goat that escaped from an enclosure and started head butting guests ... so to say she went above and beyond would be an understatement! She also saved the day on the morning of the wedding by printing out an extra copy of a sign that got lost. Donna is a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend her!!

We absolutely loved working with Donna on our 10/19/24 wedding day! Stress no more! Donna is amazing!! Having Donna as the leader of your wedding team will give you so much confidence that the day will go smoothly and off without a hitch. Donna is extremely efficient; I knew from my initial phone calls with her that she would be able to handle anything the wedding day could throw at her discreetly, promptly and professionally. Donna is extremely seasoned! I actually had an issue with one of my vendors 2 weeks before the wedding. She talked me down and gave me really great advice on handling the situation and saw through to the end that it was handled. On the wedding day, she attended to all of our personal details and decorations for the ceremony, cocktail and reception space. She made sure our vision was executed at every stage. With her in charge, we were able to relax & have fun all day long. Definitely include Donna in your wedding team!

Donna was very helpful on the day of our wedding. My wedding venue was very difficult to work with and I hired her to make sure things went as smoothly as possible, because I did not trust the staff at my venue to carry out my wishes. I was so glad that I hired her because she basically took charge and ran the rehearsal for us, (which actually wasn’t within her contract parameters), wrangled my vendors the day of so I wasn’t bothered by a million questions, and was able to run interference with some really terrible event staff. She was well worth hiring the extra set of hands on the day of.

I decided on hiring a day-of coordinator once I realized how overwhelmed I was while planning and am so glad I did! Donna and Tasha were amazing and thought of details I never would have! Our phone calls always put me at ease and its obvious that they truly care for their couples. On our wedding day when the venue's service started slipping, Tasha was right there to fix it. I didn't really realize the issues until after the wedding. (Remember, your venue coordinator is NOT the same as a day-of coordinator! You need someone in YOUR corner.) I cannot thank these two enough! Hire them for a stress free wedding day!

Donna helped to make our wedding day the best day of our lives! I reached out to Donna about 6 weeks before our wedding day and from our first phone call Donna was SO helpful. She jumped right in and helped with every minor detail, making it possible for me and my now husband to enjoy the special planning process. Donna communicated with all of our vendors and helped the day run so smoothly.
We had some hurdles due to the weather that we couldn't control, but thanks to Donna, I did not have to worry about anything! My husband and I hired Donna as our day-of coordinator for our wedding day on August 12. Our intimate ceremony was held at Thacher Park in the afternoon and our reception at Loft 433 in Troy in the evening. We hired Donna to help coordinate both venues and the vendors associated with each venue so that we didn't have to worry about anything... she was absolutely amazing! She made sure everything flowed smoothly, met us at Thacher Park to preview the location of the ceremony, and also attended the final meeting/walkthrough with us at Loft 433. I was brought in by Donna as a wedding videographer in Saratoga Springs. She was very flexible with the couple's demands and did her best to accommodate the many changes that happened on that day (said changes weren't caused by Donna). She handled the stress of the event admirably, was in a positive mood and helped the couple have an amazing wedding day!.

A huge help and very professional
Donna helped plan our daughter's reception at our home. The day of the wedding, she and her helper worked tirelessly to ensure I could relax and enjoy the day. From setting up decorations, to putting out food, to meal transitions and cleaning up, she did an amazing job. Her vendors supplied amazing desserts and guest favors. Donna was an absolute pleasure to have bartend my wedding. She was independent and helped jump in with additional tasks that needed to get done that I had no anticipated. Donna communicated so well with me before the wedding, helped develop a plan for the day, and thought of things I would have never even considered. She kept the drinks flowing and my guests happy all night long! Unfortunately I only needed her bar tending services for my wedding, but I know she has so much more to offer and I wish I had found her earlier in the process! She is so skilled, knew most of my other vendors at the wedding and worked so well independently and with the other vendors. I highly recommend Donna for any bar tending/service needs for your wedding!

Detail-oriented, competitive pricing
We hired Donna for our wedding day on 9/14/19 as the day-of coordinator. We chose her based on her detail-oriented approach and competitive pricing compared other companies in the area. We were able to have multiple phone calls with her in the few weeks leading up to the wedding. The best part was that 3 days prior to the wedding, she took on the role as lead communicator with all our other vendors; she disseminated the timeline we came up with together to the key vendors and eliminated that huge stress of communication from us! Since my husband and I planned our own wedding, this brought our pre-wedding stress from a 10/10 to a 4/10 in the most critical time. The day-of, I felt confident in letting Donna run the show. She did a great job rallying the moving parts of our detailed itinerary involving moving from a lake ceremony to an indoor museum at a different part of town. I can't believe how smoothly everything went. After the fact we understood why Donna asked us so many detailed questions and we're grateful she had thought of all the little holes that needed plugging before the big day.

If I said it once, I said it a million times; Donna and On The Go Events was the BEST thing that we spent money on during the entire wedding process! My schedule is unpredictable, and I was trying to plan a wedding from several states away. Donna helped not only with the day-of events (so I never had to worry about a thing), but also helped coordinate our vendors, visited different sites, found places for my husband and I to get ready, and helped make every unique aspect of our wedding come together seamlessly. We grew so close during the process, that people thought she was a family member! I would absolutely recommend her to any other bride, and am so grateful for my experience!!

On The Go Conceirge: An Outstanding Source for Gift Bags
My daughter was married at the Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs on 9-7-2019. I called Donna, the owner of On The Go Conceirge about 2 months ago and asked for her help in putting together 75 gift bags. I did not leave her alot of time but Donna had outstanding ideas on how to customize the bags with a Saratoga Theme since so many of the guests were from out of town. They were all excited to get gift bags with contents from the local area: Death Wish Coffee, Saratoga water, Saratoga Chips, Saratoga Olive Oil (get the theme?). The bags were customized to her colors and beautifully put together. I can't say enough about Donna's assistance in this process as we had no idea what we really wanted to do --we just knew we wanted 75 gift bags. Donna sent lots of ideas and photos and we down selected to about a half-dozen products. She also included maps of the area so our out-of-town guests could navigate their way around between parties. Donna delivered the bags to the rehearsal venue, saving us the worry of having to pick them up. When I got there and saw them, I knew we had made the rihgt decision in asking Donna to provide us with the gift bags. I would use On The Go Conceirge again anytime! Definitely call her if you have the need for gift bags for a wedding!!! I know she can provide bags for many other occasions as well. She is a top shelf person to work with. Sharon Daley

As the mother of a very organized bride, I can honestly say that using Donna from On The Go was one expense that was worth every penny and more. Donna kept everything and everyone on task and on time. No worries about rouge vendors or last minute details; Donna had every possibility covered. She coordinated every detail thoroughly with every vendor, venue and even the church. She was professional yet warm and understanding. She was creative in ways that we never expected, and when all was said and done, this wedding will be talked about for years! There was not a single thing came up wrong! Every guest was satisfied. From the perspective of the mother of the bride, if you’re planning a wedding or your child is, do yourself a favor and include On The Go. Donna helped us on our wedding day. We contacted her a little late in the game, but that was no problem with her. We had done a lot of planning and vendor selection already and we needed someone to tie the vendors together, keep things running smoothly and help find a couple vendors for rentals. She tied up all our loose ends, which allowed us to enjoy our day to the fullest and stress so much less. If I have the opportunity, I would work with her again to plan an event from start to finish. She has lots of experience with venues in the area, vendors and will find anything you need. We would have been lost without her. Thank you, Donna!

Originally, I said I would just do everything myself. Our backyard wedding would be small--including our blended family with adult children and grandkids. But we soon changed our minds and started looking for assistance. So glad we decided to get professional help because then we could relax and enjoy the day. Donna suggested a caterer, musician, photographer, and cake baker. Her recommendations were great. Donna checked in with us the week before our wedding to finalize last-minute details. Then she appeared on the wedding day and did her thing, to keep all "behind the scenes" activities rolling. As our wedding party ended the evening with s'mores around the firepit, Donna left us with a clean kitchen, extra food put away in the fridge, and trash out the door.

Donna was such a big help at our wedding! I can't even tell you all the details she saw to. She kept scheduled events on time (That's saying something considering one of our sweet ring bearers dropped a ring in the grass lol and then of course a search ensued lol...we found it the next morning!) She helped deal with our vendor's questions and did some problem solving. She served our cake to our guests and us, helped with clean up, brought the cake inside for storage
before she left (outdoor wedding). She even helped zip up my dress before the ceremony, while my wedding party was doing pictures lol. Long before the big day though Donna was such a help. The caterer we had hired had a serious family issue that he had to travel out of state to assist with, and Donna introduced me to an amazing caterer. We interviewed 3 caterers to take the place of our original one but we went with Donna's suggestion, and we couldn't have been more pleased. She knows great people. She was responsive to our every email. Met with us a few times to go over wedding day particulars. Even being so gracious as to meet me at the hair salon during a hair appointment, to go over our timeline and some entertainment details, when I was having trouble finding time to meet with her! She was kind and gracious and we were glad to have her in our corner for the big day.

I hired On the Go Concierge to help out the day of my wedding and it was 100% the right choice. I was so busy being pulled in 20 different directions there was no way I could have done it without them. Donna and I corresponded for a few months before the wedding so she had a good idea of what I needed help with. She had another engagement that day, but she brought along her associate, Teresa with her to our rehearsal dinner and despite the chaos there was able to communicate what I needed. Day of, Teresa was fabulous. She set up all my centerpieces and decor tables, lined everyone up for the processional, communicated with the DJ, and basically did anything I asked of her. She was SO helpful. At one point, my bustle came undone and she was running around like a madwoman trying to find me a safety pin. During "down" time she ran to the bar to get beverages for the wedding party. I can't recommend On the Go Concierge enough. The peace of mind and ability to relax a little on my big day was SO worth the money. Hire them!

Donna was a joy to work with! Prior to our actual wedding day, Donna helped with some last minute vendors, such as cocktail hour food, drink servers, and rentals for tables and chairs. We met up with Donna at our venue beforehand as well so we could explain what we were trying to do with the set up and a walk through of the day. Donna was a huge help on the day of the wedding. We had a fairly DIY wedding at an outdoor venue in our town and so I went early to set up. I didn't want to leave the venue without supervision (to go get ready) so Donna came earlier than originally planned to "watch" the venue and help set up the rest of the venue. She helped throughout the day and coordinated with the vendors for our special day. She has a lot of local knowledge for those of you in the capital region/Saratoga. We were very happy with Donna and all of her hard work!

I needed help planning the details of my wedding and wanted a day of coordinator to assist with everything so I could enjoy myself and not worry about anything. We had a backyard reception and I’m so glad that I hired Donna to take care of things for me. She thought of details that I didn’t and when I had questions she responded to me immediately. I liked her attention to detail and dedication. Donna came up with some creative ideas for favors incorporating my colors and also assisted with catering set-up. On the Go did a first-class job organizing and planning our Farewell Brunch. We hosted our brunch by the lake in a location that does not frequently hold events. Donna thought of all details and didn't leave anything to chance. She worked tirelessly all day to make sure all of our guests had what they needed, managed a catering vendor of our choosing, handled traffic and gate access, made sure the event was set up and cleaned up. There is no way we could have hosted this brunch without her! Trust her with any event - - - especially if it's never been done before and you need someone to think through both the big items and the small. Flawless execution.

Donna was a lifesaver! My husband and I decided to have a short, four month engagement and to try to do everything ourselves. I quickly saw that I could not do it all, along with homeschooling my two children, working part time and orchestrating a move, and also keep my sanity! I found Donna on Thumbtack and she quickly responded to my inquiry. She was willing to work with our budget, she was organized (which is not my strong suit), able to see little things that needed to get done which my then-fiance and I did not even consider and was punctual and professional. I would recommend Donna to anyone trying to pull off an event that needs someone to come alongside them to help make the planning less overwhelming. She certainly did that for us.

Donna's attention to detail made my event an absolute success. It could not have been done without her attention to detail and coordination. Donna managed the process, and it allowed me to enjoy the party. I would highly recommend Donna to coordinate ANY event. She is extremely competent and organized.

I had an excellent experience with Donna. She helped us throw a wonderful surprise 30th Birthday party for our daughter. She made everything lovely, was able to get the perfect menu to meet several dietary needs, got us the most delicious gluten free cheesecake with fresh fruit on it which our daughter & everyone absolutely enjoyed, she served, made sure everyone had plenty to eat and drink, she cleaned up after everyone & threw away all of the garbage in our cans, several times! ...and wound up staying later, without a problem, because everyone was having such a great time. Donna is very friendly, accommodating, helpful & was a real pleasure to work with. After our experience with her, my husband and I have decided to use her for our future parties & get-together's! We highly recommend Donna for all of your party needs. You will not be disappointed!

Donna saved the day and helped prevented a bridezilla from emerging. My fiancé (wife now) wanted a small wedding with just a few friends over after the ceremony. Unfortunately for us, we underestimated the amount of work that goes into even a small reception. Even with friends helping, planning everything last minute was becoming stressful. To prevent my death by a stressed out Perto Rican, I decided to hire someone to help with the wedding.
I called up Donna with less than two weeks left before the wedding. She found a cake maker that did an amazing job even with the last minute notice. She picked up all of the food and did a lot of the set up. She found us the best price for the Limo and even found a hotel room with a hot tub during track season and we didn't end up paying track season prices. There was a box of chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us when we arrived at the hotel room thanks to Donna.
Donna is very friendly, professional, trust worthy, hard working and knows many people in the hotel, restaurant and other businesses. If you need an event planned or any kind of concierge service I'd recommend her. I've saved her number knowing she would be there to save the day!

I don't believe I would have been able to have done all what Donna did for me. Donna took care of all the little to big details of my wedding. I could have not picked a better person to handle my wedding. Thank you Donna from the bottom of my heart. You are the best.

Our daughter graduated from college in upstate NY; since I live in Florida, I couldn't easily help plan the party for her. Donna followed our requests (and made lots of additional great suggestions), and planned the food, decorations, supplies, outdoor tent, citronella candles, and everything else we needed for the party. She set it up in advance, delivered the delicious (according to the guests) food, then came back afterwards to help with cleanup. Donna thought of all the small details that I hadn't, and we were very happy with her services. I'd definitely use her again for event planning! Thank you, Donna, for being there and taking care of this party for us!

I couldn't be happier with the service and the food that Donna provided! On time, cost efficient and very prepared. She had everything possible that we needed, and/or forgot about. She is extremely timely and very professional.And the food was prepared with great care and was delicious. It was a pleasure and I have already booked her and her services again for another celebration.

I hired Donna from On The Go Concierge for day of wedding planning and services, and the title is misleading in the best way possible. Donna helped with SO MUCH MORE than just the "day of" things. She answered every e-mail I sent, returned every phone call, contributed inspiration and ideas for the wedding, worked out all of the fine details with the vendors, and so much more. She even put together the most amazing bridal emergency kit for me for the wedding. Donna helped all of my dreams for the wedding to come to life. The ceremony and reception were set-up perfectly, she got people where they needed to be and stuck to our schedule, and she is just fun to work with in general! Thank you SO MUCH Donna!

I worked with Donna for our at-home reception in Saratoga State Park after our destination wedding. From day one, Donna had put me at ease as I was very overwhelmed with planning another large party. She was so organized, had great vendor referrals (who provided discounts), and covered every little detail I would not even think of. We had met at the event space prior to plan the layout of the space, discussed decor and had a lot of communication via email and text. I was glad that Donna handled everything and I did not have to worry about a thing come the day of our party. She kept the event running smoothly and her staff was professional. If you are looking for someone who can keep you on track during event planning, offer suggestions, and allow peace of mind for your big event, Donna is the person to go to. You will not be disappointed as she exceeded our expectations!

I hired On the Go Concierge for my niece's bridal shower. This is the third time I have contracted Donna for an event. Each time Donna has proven that it is money well spent to be able to relax as the host and enjoy the event instead of worrying about the details. Wonderful experience with Donna and her team!
My wife and I felt confident coming into the weekend thanks to the months of prep, phone calls, and emails with Donna. She exceeded our expectations with regard to recommending local vendors (including a fantastic bartender), helping build our timeline, and most importantly helping us understand details/issues we never would have known about without her guidance. You get so much more than day-of coordination when you book with Donna. The only thing we wish had gone differently was an earlier arrival time, but that was out of the ordinary for Donna. On a final note, as a queer couple with many LGBTQ+ guests in attendance it was incredibly important to partner with vendors we could trust to hold no bias or judgment against our community -- Donna was supportive, engaged, professional, and joyful to work with us and our guests. We had full trust in Donna the day of our wedding and would highly recommend her for another upstate celebration.
