I was on the fence about hiring a DOC, but looking back I don't know what I would have done without OBEC and Kelly Nee. Our wedding was last weekend and Kelly was instrumental in making the day run smoothly. I never would have imagined that my wedding day would be entirely stress-free but somehow it was thanks to Kelly. She was more than a DOC - she started assisting me months before my wedding, putting together my timeline, coordinating with my vendors, and offering help and answering my many questions along the way. On the big day, she took care of decorating our space and ensuring everyone was where they needed to be. The day was perfect and if anything went wrong, I was not aware of it. The whole OBEC team is full of wonderful people and I can't recommend them enough. -

Having OBEC be a part of our wedding team was possibly one of the very BEST decisions we made! We knew from the start that we would need some wedding planning support, since our venue did not include day-of coordination. Deanna and Kelly delivered above and beyond what we could have ever imagined.
Throughout the planning process, it was so so helpful to be able to bounce design ideas off of Kelly. Her insights and perspectives gave a lot of clarity and direction to our many ideas! Beyond that, the planning system/software OBEC offered access to really pulled everything together. It helped us stay organized and easily make edits to our guest list and vendor information and stay in sync! The detailed checklist kept us on track and always made us feel like we were in control of the many things that had to get done before the wedding day!
However, the very best part of working with OBEC was being able to trust that everything would be taken care of on our wedding day without us ever having to worry at all. The day of our wedding, everything ran SO smoothly and everything was brought together BEAUTIFULLY. The amount of work that was done in the background, without us ever having to worry or weigh in was truly incredible. I went in to hair and makeup first thing in the morning, and by early afternoon I walked out and saw that all our rentals and boxes full of wedding day details and decor were perfectly laid out in the most BEAUTIFUL manner by Kelly and were ready for the day!!! I nearly cried when I saw how it had all been brought together so perfectly! Alex and I were both just wowed. At the end of the night, we similarly did not have to worry about packing up! Kelly and her team put everything away in its appropriate place, and all we had to do was say goodbye to our guests and hop in our car! It was such a gift to not have to spend our wedding night packing up boxes or asking family and friends to assist.
Everything about working with Deanna and Kelly was such a dream!!!! We could not recommend them more!! Thank you THANK YOU for making our day go by so smoothly and beautifully!! -

Planning a wedding is a huge undertaking! When we were looking for a wedding planner our main motivation was to provide ourselves and our families peace of mind the day of the wedding that things would be taken care of. We were stressed out about who would be running the show the day of and concerned that if we needed to focus on all the logistics we would miss out on the fun, so we decided to look for a wedding planner. The best part of working with Olive Branch and Deanna was our planning meetings. Every meeting felt productive and the follow up afterwards was also very thorough and helpful. I would definitely recommend working with Deanna and her team because they do a great job of getting to know you, and figuring out your needs. Our wedding went so well, and looked BEAUTIFUL! Deanna helped us design our layout and we were so happy with the way the space flowed and how it looked! Thank you to Deanna and her team at Olive Branch for helping to make our wedding so wonderful!

I hired OBEC for the last two months leading up to my wedding day and boy am I glad I did! The thought of having to coordinate all the last-minute wedding details totally scared me, so OBEC swooped in and took over all vendor coordination/timeline/etc. It was incredibly helpful!
Kelly, our assigned planner, was always available for guidance and great suggestions as we approached our wedding day. On the day of, she really shined and directed every last detail so the day went seamlessly. She went above and beyond for us without giving it a second thought. I didn't have to worry about a thing -- a HUGE blessing for a bride on her wedding day!!
I would definitely recommend them for any or all steps of the wedding planning process! -

Best day thanks for the best planners
Having Deanna and Kelly at our wedding was literally the best decision about our day. Our original wedding planner could not make it when we had to postpone our wedding (because COVID) so she recommended the ladies at Olive Branch. And we are SO THANKFUL she did.
We went through 10+ iterations of our wedding day and ended up scrapping everything 2 weeks prior to move it to a small backyard wedding. Kelly was more than amazing and helpful with everything. Since we made the swap so last minute and quick we really relied on her to set the table setting and with food. It was set beautifully and we had the best day of our lives.
They are both great about answering emails we had, meeting with us via zoom or in person, contact vendors, etc. We really could not have asked for a more positive, friendly group of ladies to work with.

I'm so incredibly thankful for all Deanna did to make our wedding day come together in the perfect way! I knew I did not want to worry about the details of setup & timelines on my wedding day, and Deanna made sure that I did not worry about a thing! She was very helpful with any questions I had, and helped all of the vendors feel prepared with the very detailed timeline she put together for our day. If you are wondering whether you should hire Deanna & her team, the answer is yes!! She will make sure that all you do on your wedding day is enjoy it with your family & friends while she takes care of the rest!Olive Branch Events Co.'s reply:

My Life Line!
I hired Deanna back in February as my wedding planner and little did I know then I was hiring my lifeline for this year. We changed our wedding plans at least 4 times because of the pandemic, and Deanna helped us get to our final goal of getting married no matter what on December 31st, 2020. That came with a lot of emails, tears (on my end), open minds, and lots of positivity. I know I threw so much at her, and I truly don’t know how I will ever repay her for her time and effort to make our day as magical as it was, but let me start with this post at least. If you’re getting married, I HIGHLY recommend hiring Deanna at Olive Branch Company. She will make your life so much easier, will make your day all about you, and will make whatever is really important to you a reality. -

Our initial decision to hire a wedding planner was to preserve our investment, and for a point person to carry out our wedding day vision. However, Deanna became SO much more for us, especially given the fact that we planned and carried out a wedding in the middle of a pandemic!
Deanna was super responsive to emails, was our reassurance among the chaos, and stuck with us during the many many changes that needed to happen due to COVID. When our original venue could not accommodate our size group due to restrictions (less than 2 months before our wedding date!), Deanna immediately went into action and searched out and inquired at 15+ other venues for us; despite only being hired as a day of coordinator. She was patient and flexible with us as we began to plan wedding 2.0!
We shared hundreds of emails throughout the planning process, and Deanna never wavered in her willingness to work with us and truly became an emotional support. She seamlessly coordinated our rehearsal walk-through, and took care of all important communication with vendors, wedding party members, and family, including a detailed schedule for the day. Everyone involved with the wedding could not say enough great things about Deanna and her team. As hectic and crazy as a wedding day can be, we had all the confidence in the world with OBEC in charge! They were wonderful in cueing for the ceremony, flipping the space for the reception, getting gifts and important items to our suite, and taking care of clean up at the end of the night. We honestly could not have pulled off the safe, yet loving and fun celebration we had without Deanna and her team. I would HIGHLY recommend OBEC to anyone looking for an organized, empathetic team to carry out your beautiful wedding day! -

Deanna and her team absolutely crushed it for helping us plan our wedding. I had the privilege of knowing Deanna for nearly 2 years (contacted her in fall of 2019 married in September of 2021). I came to her panicked because I have a hard time keeping myself on schedule, that planning a wedding was simply overwhelming. Deanna had a calm and confident presence about her as I would come to her regarding questions/concerns about wedding planning. She helped me reach out to vendors, as the "right" questions, design invitations/signs, helped decide what was wedding industry "fluff" and what was actually needs. Deanna never made me feel worried on the day of our wedding. It is inevitable that hiccups would happen throughout the day, but she never let them phase her. One of my favorite memories of having OBEC apart of my team was simply looking over at them and knowing that they were not just a vendor team, throughout this process they truly became friends to me. I could not recommend Deanna and her team more. -

Hiring Deanna was the BEST wedding decision we made! She is so easy to work with and is very responsive to emails. On our wedding day we didn't have to lift a finger--Deanna took care of absolutely everything for us and we were able to spend the entire day completely stress and worry free! She literally did everything day-of: organized the vendors, pinned all the flowers, kept everyone on time, and did all of the cleanup for us afterwards. I can guarantee if you hire Deanna as your coordinator you will have no regrets about it and your big day will run so smoothly with her on your side. 10/10 would absolutely recommend :) -

What a light and joy in our lives!!! I was a nervous wreck trying to assess how I would balance family expectation, budget, dreams, and fun (you know - actually enjoying it all). My husband and I would push things off day by day because we simply didn't know how or where to start. Deanna came in with poise, patience, grace, balance, kindness, and UNDERSTANDING. She listened to all of our chaos and helped us narrow down our goals, balance our budget, and manage ALL THAT EXPECTATION from EVERYONE. She was always happy to talk with us, personable, and genuine. I loved that she would make our day with cute pictures of her pooch, or a reminder that life was going to be wonderful, no matter what happened. At the root of everything, she helped us remember to breathe and simply enjoy being together. My family and friends had nothing but good things to say about Deanna and her team! They were all very efficient and incredibly friendly. They knew how to keep the ball rolling while allowing you to forget about the tiny details. Somehow we made it - without a single hiccup - from set up to tear down. I could not have asked for a better experience, and feel incredibly blessed to have had such a wonderful human to walk me through our big day. With Deanna, our wedding was a complete breeze, and the happiest of our lives. ❤️❤️❤️ -

DEANNA WAS SUCH A BLESSING TO MY FIANCE AND I! While I was excited to plan our wedding and had a lot of ideas, I had absolutely no idea where to start or even how to convey my thoughts. Deanna helped me put everything in order, made suggestions of vendors for different services, and helped me prioritize things so that my day was super special but didn't break bank. We had several conferences leading up to the wedding during which she asked questions and walked me through things in a way that helped me to get a better grip on what I was visualizing. When the week of the wedding came, Deanna helped me loose my grip on logistics so that I could relax and fully enjoy myself- which was actually really easy to do because I trusted her fully.
Deanna was so much more than an event planner- she was a friend during the whole process. I truly felt like she was on my team as a guide and confidant. Her suggestions and encouragements made me feel cared for and understood. Our wedding day was perfect- in no small part due to the work Deanna and her team put in! My family and all of our guests couldn't stop commenting about how organized everything was and how prepared Deanna was. I couldn't recommend her enough!!
