Overall, the day went very smoothly! If we did have any issues, staff were very attentive and quick to help or adjust as needed. Thank you to Matt, Jackie, and Jen especially! The venue spaces and beautiful and malleable to any theme you’d need. Food is delicious and variable. I think mg only ask would be to keep everyone informed. My husband missed the chance to get certain photos due to miscommunications. But besides that everything was smooth.

Our wedding at Nicotra’s Ballroom was absolutely incredible! The outdoor garden and gazebo area for our ceremony was something out of a dream! Just gorgeous! The cocktail hour in the beautiful Brittons Oak room was unbelievable! The amount and quality of food was superb! The reception room—Tea House Garden—was stunning and magical! The dinner and dessert were delicious! They also accommodate vegan/gluten-free/any dietary concerns—and it’s not just a plate of veggies—it’s a carefully thought-out menu that truly caters to all. Everything about the day certainly exceeded our expectations. We could not have imagined anything more magical or stunning. It was truly a spectacular day that we will never forget. Our planner, Alessandra, was beyond excellent throughout the entire wedding planning process. Her help, guidance, support, expertise, and patience along the wedding planning journey were truly exceptional. We really enjoyed working with her up until the very last moment of our special day. Jennifer (our bridal attendant) and Michael (our maitre D) were total rockstars the entire time. The service was impeccable and every single detail was just perfect! Our friends and family are raving about it, and I have a feeling that they'll be talking about our magical wedding for a long time to come. The food, the ambiance, everything! We are beyond grateful to everyone at Nicotra's Ballroom, Lorenzo's, and The Hilton Garden Inn. Everyone there feels like family! They really go above and beyond! We highly recommend them! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would.

I had my wedding at Nicotra’s Ballroom this past October, and I’m not even sure where to start with the compliments - I wouldn’t change a thing. We had our rehearsal dinner at Lorenzo’s, our cocktail hour in the Trevi Garden, and reception in the Persimmon Room.

We had attended a wedding at Nictora’s a few years before planning ours, and we were so impressed that it made our venue search very easy. I’m happy to say that the team consistently delivers on great food, service, and atmosphere. Our guests are still talking about the food being some of the best they’ve had at a wedding, also complimenting the uniqueness of the venue.

Jennifer Finch, our planner, kept everything organized and running smoothly - she was extremely willing to work with us on little details, provided helpful and insightful answers to questions, and kept us feeling calm on the day of the wedding. While Nicotra’s provides the full package, there was enough customization available that things really felt ours.

She’s a natural. Our bridal attendant, another Jennifer, also went above and beyond - she was friendly, helpful, professional, and made sure we were FED and comfortable at all times. Our Maitre’d Matt was also amazing! Took time to ensure everything was to our liking, was very helpful and kind to guests, and was overall adaptable. The entire FOH staff was excellent, honestly - they made our celebration so much more special. To cap it all off, the Nicotras themselves stopped by to say hello to us and check in on guests - what a personal touch!

Something that you often miss out on with a ballroom wedding are beautiful grounds - not the case here. We had many tons of options for beautiful couples portraits moments, and the floor to ceiling windows provided another great bit of atmosphere during the reception.

We closed our reception with the Viennese Hour - if it’s in your budget, do NOT skip this. It was an absolutely incredible and massive display that blew guests away. And having an extra hour to party is awesome!

If you’re looking for a stress free wedding, look no further. I can rave about our wedding forever, our event planner Alessandra Moss helped us every step of the way. Our guests enjoyed the heavenly cocktail hour and were impressed with the professionalism of the staff.

Day of coordinator Jennifer was attentive and took care of all my bridal needs. We highly recommend booking Nicotras Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn for your wedding venue, we had a lot of guests traveling and it was easy for our guests to stay in the hotel.

We shared our first look on the beautiful property, there are endless options for photo ops. We were able to take many photos and video inside and outside the venue. The ceremony took place outside on the Gazebo, it was absolutely stunning, the weather was perfect.

Alessandra met with us regularly in person and was easily accessible via email. She walked us through the wedding planning and guided us on the next steps of the process. It was a great relief that the venue took care of a lot of the details, and we used one of their vendors Red Carpet Events for decor/flowers and they were fantastic!

We got engaged in January 2024. In late January , we met with Alessandra, and we both immediately knew we found the perfect place for our wedding. She was thorough, friendly, professional, explained everything to us, showed us the entire venue, and reviewed the pricing with us.
She not only listened to us, but took special care to make sure our wishes became realities. Every step of the way, she was there, quick to respond to emails and phone calls, and never once left us in the dark. We got married in July, only six months after visiting Nicotra's for the first time.
Everything on our Wedding Day went perfectly. The Bridal Attendant Jackie was there for us the entire day and went above and beyond - even hunting out crayons for a crying 5 year old. She was absolutely amazing. The Maitre D ran everything smoothly through the entire event.
The venue was beautiful - we had our wedding in the gardens and the reception in the Tea Room. Nicotra's was very attentive throughout the entire evening. It was beyond my expectations. Everyone has been raving ever since about our wedding.
With the cocktail hour, we got the Raw Bar and the Sushi Bar as add-ons. Everyone loved it, especially the groom. He gave them a request (half-jokingly) for a plate of salmon sushi during the cocktail hours, and even that, Nicotra's made sure he had his own plate of salmon sushi during the cocktail hour. We picked the Paella, which was out of this world delicious. We got a taco bar, and people loved it. The food during the cocktail hour was excellent, plentiful, and everyone we spoke to was blown away by it.
Our guests all loved the food, which has been a major talking point. Every single person who attended has said to us "you two had an amazing wedding, everything was perfect, and the food was so good - we couldn't move when we left."
They also loved the wedding in the garden. It was a picture perfect day. The amount of amazing photos we got from our Guests is staggering - the Gardens was such a picturesque place for a wedding - can't wait to see what our photographer comes back with.
We used their recommended reverend (Rev Vincent Sica), who knocked the ceremony out of the park. Our guests were buzzing for weeks that it was the best ceremony they ever attended.
It's now a little over a month and a half later, giving us a lot of time to unpack everything from the engagement, planning, and our wedding day. After reflecting back on everything, neither of us would have changed anything at all. Alessandra worked hard to plan and execute the perfect wedding of our dreams, and amazingly did it in just six months. Everyone from Nicotra's did such an exceptional job with our wedding. If we had to do it all over again - we would do it exactly the same way, without changing a single thing. We highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to go here.

From rehearsal day through the main event, Nicotra's made planning and execution of our wedding enjoyable and peaceful. The staff worked extremely diligently and everyone I spoke with mentioned how on-point they were throughout the night.

Unbelievable service, food, accommodations, and more! Our guests couldn’t say enough about how outstanding and fabulous this venue was. Thank you to the entire Nicotra’s staff for all of their attentiveness, kindness, and hard work in making this the best night and celebration of our lives! We had an amazing wedding planner, bridal assistant and maitre de that went above and beyond.

Nicotra's Ballroom had excellent service quality. Our coordinator Alessandra was super helpful in helping us plan our wedding. Whenever we had questions they were quick to answer or address any issues. She was detailed in asking us what we wanted for our wedding, details that we hadn't even though of.

We booked the Gazebo and Tea House Garden for our ceremony and reception. When the weather wasn't looking the greatest for an outdoor ceremony Alessandra and the team help upgrade us to the Trevi room and made sure to coordinate with our vendors for a smooth setup. Everything looked beautiful! And probably better then if we had it during the hot weather outdoors. It was my dream come true and exceeded my expectations.

Also when our original Photobooth vendor had issues with their equipment and couldn't do the job. Alessandra was quick to contact another Photobooth vendor and get him within the hour! I thought we weren't going to have a photobooth for our guest but she saved the day! Our guest even didn't notice there was a problem. The wedding was a hit, all of our guest raved about the ceremony site, cocktail/ reception setup and the food.

Where do I start?! Nicotra’s Ballroom was #1 on my venues list during my search at the beginning of wedding planning and all it took was one visit and I was HOOKED. Lol Alessandra and the whole team at Nicotra’s … WOW! They went above and beyond for my husband and I. It was truly a dream come true!

We had our wedding at Nicotra’s Ballroom in May and it was better than we could have ever dreamed. They were so flexible when we had to postpone because of COVID; when the day finally came, everyone at Nicotra's made it perfect. It poured on our wedding day but everyone made sure we could take photos outside. They set up the ballroom beautifully as our plan B, and I loved it. The staff was so warm, kind and attentive (shoutout to Jenn, Jennifer and Tom — the best team!). The food was also *incredible.* Our guests have been raving about it for weeks. Highly recommend having your wedding here!

We had our wedding in November at Lorenzos restaurants hall, which is part of Nicotras group. I loved working with Briana, she is so professional, responsive, creative, kind and amazing. She would answer all my questions and whenever I mentioned any problems to her, she would quickly suggest effective solutions. The venues are so beautiful, the grounds are also beautiful. They have amazing customer service here.
And the food is also amazing. All my guests loved our party so much, they loved the venue, the decor, the service and the food. Everyone had an awesome time.

Nicotra's Ballroom has everything - beautiful grounds for a romantic ceremony and pictures ✔, amazing room for your reception ✔, part of a hotel so you and your guests just have to go upstairs at the end of the night ✔, delicious food ✔, the best, most attentive staff in the industry ✔✔✔
From the minute we first walked into Nicotra's Ballroom we felt welcomed and at home. Then we met our coordinator, Jennifer Finch, and immediately felt like we were old friends and knew we were in good hands.  Every step of the way, Jenn was there for us, answering questions, providing guidance and always making us feel as though we were the only couple she was planning an event for. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more! Our guests couldn't stop telling us how beautiful everything was and how delicious the food was. At a time when so many businesses were hurting, Nicotra's was acommodating and easy to work with when we had to postpone last year due to COVID.
But the thing that sets Nicotra's apart from all the rest is the staff. It starts at the top. Mr. & Mrs. Nicotra are very involved and want to make sure that everyone has the best experience possible, which we did. Jenn and Sue, our bridal attendant, spoiled us, treated us like royalty and wouldn't let us a do a thing. They handled every little detail no matter how small so we didn't have to worry about a thing and could relax and truly enjoy our day. I could go on and on about all the wonderful things about Nicotra's but just trust me, book Nicotra's Ballroom. It was the best decision we made!!

It was so wonderful to have our wedding at Nicotra's Ballroom! We had our reception at the Trevi Garden and loved the setup of that room. Plus it was really convenient to have the venue be part of the Hilton, so that our out of town guests could stay at the hotel on site. And needless to mention it was nice from a getting ready standpoint that we could get ready upstairs and then head straight to photos at the venue. Our planner was Jenn and she was great to work with! She was patient, very thorough and kept us on track on what we needed to do. We especially liked the generous tasting and our sit down session with Jenn where she provided lots of useful tips. In general, we asked a lot of questions and Jenn had all of the answers. Even with a hurricane potentially crashing our wedding, Jenn came up with timely suggestions and helped us think through our options and what changes to make. Overall, the wedding we had was spectacular! Everything was set up in such a pretty way and our guests raved about how good the food was. The bridal attendant Jackie and the maitre d' Tom did a great job in ensuring everything ran smoothly. We highly recommend having your wedding at Nictora's Ballroom!

Our wedding reception at the Trevi Garden ballroom was held here in May 2019. I chose the Trevi because I like high ceilings with curtain drapery, resembling an indoor tent. The included catering service was terrific as our wedding guests only had compliments on the quality of the food! Sue, the coordinator at the Hilton was a pleasure to work with-upbeat, direct and organized. We had a 9-piece band play, as well, in which a stage was provided at no extra cost by Sue. The elegant lamposts, the statues and fountain within the venue offered a classic theme. The lobby of the Hilton hotel was impressive and elegant too! I got a bridal suite for my party and stayed overnight after the wedding too. The bridal suite was large in space that it accommodated my bridesmaids, hair & makeup, photographer & videography crew! Uplighting along the walls was included, we chose amber and it offered a romantic feed. Highly recommended holding a wedding here.

I wish I could relive that day over and over again. From the start I knew I wanted my wedding at Nicotra’s. Not only is it a gorgeous venue, but the attached hotel was definitely a plus as my husband and I have a lot of out of town family/friends. From the first day we went there, Wedding Coordinator Jen Finch was amazing!!! Always in touch and so wonderful! The night before my wedding i stayed in the bridal suite with sitting room and salon set up with my mom. The morning of my wedding I woke to a lovely in-room breakfast for me and my bridesmaids which was an extra charge but so worth it! We got back from the church and got the most beautiful pictures right on the grounds! Everyone LOVED the food. The cocktail hour was gorgeous! The staff was incredible!!! The room was absolutely beautiful!!! It was everything I could’ve wanted in a wedding and so much more!!!

Picking Nicotra's Ballroom to get married was the best, and easiest, decision that my (now) husband and I made. Working with Sue Vaiana ensured that we had a magical wedding that was everything we hoped for and more. All of her recommendations were spot on and she was there for us every step of the way-- literally answering our emails in the middle of the night. The food and service couldn't be beat; all of our guests were extremely impressed and many said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

Hands down, the best decision we made while wedding planning was to have our reception at Nicotra's. We worked very closely with Sue during the entire process, who was phenomenal beyond words. Sue was the one to answer my initial e-mail inquiring about coming to check out the venue, she guided us through the venue and package options, she sealed the deal and navigated us through the entire process. Her expertise and ability to predict all needs/concerns is uncanny. (I swear she can almost read minds!) To make it even better, she is the kindest and absolute easiest person to work with. Always available via phone, e-mail or an in-person drop by. Every step of wedding planning was enjoyable and my husband and I feel truly blessed to have had such an incredible experience. But why stop here! I must also give a tremendous shout out to our bridal attendant, Victoria and our Maitre'd, Tom, who were rockstars!! Honestly - every staff member at Nicotra's/Hilton were top-notch, on-point, courteous, professional and a delight. (We even got to meet Mr. & Mrs. Nicotra a few times and we enjoyed our conversation with them very much. It meant a lot to see how vested they are in their business and that they still give it a personal touch.) ...I really can write on forever, but I will leave just a few more comments. The food was sinfully delicious, (compliments are still rolling in from our guests and our wedding was back in October 2017,) the grounds are manicured beautifully and served as the perfect backdrop for all of our photos, and the ballroom views were breathtaking at night - looking out into the perfectly uplighted woods through floor to ceiling windows! The hotel rooms were great for all of our overnight guests, (approx 70 people.) Oh, and how can I forget the wonderful brunch we got to have with everyone the morning after! In conclusion - Sue, and Nictotra's is THE BEST! No doubt your experience will meet and exceed ours!

We chose Nicotra’s for the value and the location. I cannot day enough about the staff and the venue.
Sue Vaiana is the hardest working wedding planner I have ever met. All of my questions, needs and dreams were met. She helped me find my photographer, my makeup artist, officiant and my florist. The food is SPECTACULAR, the service is unmatched anywhere I have ever gone before. Mr. and Mrs. Nicotra are wonderful and even came to my cocktail hour to offer their thanks and congratulations. I wish I could get married again just for the experience I had here.

I can not put into words how amazing the staff at Nicotra's made our wedding day. From the planning to the actual day Sue Vaiana and her staff made things go on without a hitch. I don't think that our wedding ay would've been the same if we had chosen another venue. The breathtaking pictures we took as well as the many compliments that we had received from our guests and continue to receive almost a year later speaks to the quality of service that you will receive at Nicotra's. We kind of wish that we could have our reception all over again even a year later just from the amazing experiences received from Nicotra's. Can not wait to have another event at Nicotras hopefully in the near future.

We had our wedding 9/16/2017, it was spectacular. We were married in the gazebo and we had the best best time. We had the best bridal attendant, wedding planner and matrede. Everything went smooth and the food was amazing. Really amazing. this was a top notch wedding.

(Part 2) For the ceremony, they set up a section of the ballroom for us, and it looked beautiful. As for taking pictures, let's just say Sue went ABOVE and beyond to make sure we got absolutely gorgeous pictures. Honestly, I really think the ceremony and pictures turned out better than our original plan for them.
While planning, we were really able to personalize the food menu to our liking. Our family are huge foodies-so the food had to be perfect. And let me tell you...it was. We got so many compliments about the food.
The service the whole evening was top notch. Especially our grooms' attendant, Victoria. If you book your wedding here-request to have Victoria as your attendant. Trust me. Seriously-request Victoria.
The Nicotras themselves also were wonderful, from checking in on us several times throughout the event to also helping out and supporting us in unexpected ways.
The entire wedding truly was perfect and a huge majority of that was due to the fact we picked this place, Sue, Victoria and the whole staff we encountered.
Lastly (sorry I am long winded), as a same sex couple, there is always that initial concern about how we will be treated. From the first day, we were treated like any other marrying couple (which is a compliment) and honestly-we felt they were not only supportive of our union but were excited to be working with us. Within 5 minutes-any concern we had was gone.
Did I mention how good the food was?

My husband and I got married at Nicotras in May 2017. We spent a very, very long time trying to find a venue that we were excited about and that worked for all our needs: size, budget, and something different than a normal ballroom setting. After months and months and months of searching, we came upon the Tea House room.
To put it simply-I cannot tell you how many comments and compliments we received from our guests about the reception room, the service, the food, and the whole she-bang, and some of these people are hard to impress and I can 100% confirm that everyone truly was impressed. We've had several weddings in our family over the last few years and several of these were at the "creme de la creme" venues on Staten Island and New Jersey. You know the ones that are ridiculously expensive, yet feel like every other place or add all the bells and whistles but end up lacking in wedding 101: great food and service. The food, service, and overall experience we had (they really make you feel like family) were all A+! All of this-plus we didn't break the bank. The quality of everything about our wedding and the price we paid here compared to other prices of other locations could not be beat. We still have guests saying they want us to do it again!
Right away-we loved the room. The Tea House is a unique variation of a ballroom and we loved it. We began working with their planner Sue V. Who helped us every step of the way to make it the wedding of our dreams. From the beginning of planning to the very end of the reception, Sue was there to help us and support us. We had planned to have the ceremony on site outside in the gazebo area and take all our pictures on the surprisingly beautiful grounds of the Hilton. This was a really important deciding part for us too. Of course, day of the wedding it rained...hard. Disappointment reared its ugly head. But-I should have known that Sue, the Nicotras and the Hilton would not let us down or let us be disappointed. (Part 1)

I had both my bridal shower and wedding reception at Nicotra's Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn and I cannot say more about it. I was not a bride that always dreamed of a big wedding. Once meeting Sue Viana and the Nicotra family I felt like they were family helping me through the planning process. The service was outstanding and the food even better. I have never seen a man, my now husband talk so much about a wedding and what an amazing time he had. It was a magical experience and would highly recommend to anyone.

I don't even know where to begin! After almost 2 years of planning, Sue Vaiana helped us have the most perfect wedding. She always responded in a timely manner to any and ALL of my questions (even if I thought they were silly). She is extremely personable and really knew her stuff...which put us at complete ease. We also found all of our vendors through her at the Nicotra's Wedding Expo, including our: photographer, videographer, DJ, florist, etc. They were all amazing and truly made our wedding seamless. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch. Once our church ceremony was over and we returned to Nicotra's, I knew we were in good hands. We literally didn't have to lift a finger. Her staff is AMAZING. Our maitre'd, Tom, and Bridal Attendant, Victoria were on top of everything! It's been 3 weeks since we got married, and our friends and family are still ranting and raving over the venue and the food. (Being Italian, the food was a very important factor for us). I can't thank Sue and the Nicotra's staff enough!

Nicotra's Ballroom was the venue for my December 2016 wedding and Sue Vaiana was my event coordinator. My husband and I went to visit Nicotra's Ballroom after our engagement in October 2015 and our initial meeting with Sue was a great experience. She was so personable and made us feel very comfortable. She gave us a complete tour of the various event rooms and grounds. She was extremely informative and answered all of our questions and concerns. Sue never rushed us into making a decision, and she was kind enough to invite us back when it was set up for a wedding so that we could get a feel for what it might look like if we had ours there. When we returned and saw the ballroom all set up, we were so impressed with how beautiful it looked and could really envision having our wedding there. It was so romantic and intimate; the exact ambiance I wanted my reception to have. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Nicotra and staff member, Kristine Garlisi. They each came over to introduce themselves and took a moment to speak with us. After that night, my husband and I knew immediately that Nicotra's Ballroom would be the perfect setting to celebrate the most important day of our lives. Our wedding day came and it exceeded our expectations. Everything was amazing! Our bridal attendant, Victoria and Maitre'd, Tom were so attentive to our needs and helped make our night run smoothly. Mr. and Mrs. Nicotra were kind enough to visit us during our cocktail hour to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and ballroom looked gorgeous! Our family and friends are still talking about how great our wedding was and we can't thank Sue and the entire staff enough for all they did to make our night so memorable. We highly recommend booking Nicotra's Ballroom to all the future brides and grooms out there. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end!

I got married at Nicotras in late October of 2016, I planned the entire wedding myself and was very nervous about it all coming together.From the beginning my event coordinator sue was extremely sweet and accommodating,she did an incredible job assuring me that my day will be everything I envisioned.I was not let down. My hotel suite was very beautiful and very spacious, it included a vanity wall for me and my girls to get ready,regal stand up mirrors,a dress form and incredible bathrooms. My guests who also stayed at the Hilton were very pleased with their stay.Day of the wedding sue kept checking in to make sure I had everything I needed as well as making sure everything was running on time,I felt no pressure at all and could enjoy my day without any worry. My bridal attendant Victoria was incredibly professional and went to great measures to make sure I had anything I needed,she made me and bridal party feel like there was no request too big,to the extent of bustling my very long dress train.The food was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive. My ballroom was beautiful and my sweetheart table was royal.My reception gazebo was very well lit and romantic, also the backdrops available at this venue are endless and breathtaking from outside to inside all made for incredible pictures.Sue also recommended my cake decorator who ended up making the cake of a my dreams.Overall my wedding is a night I will never forget, It was everything I hoped for and more.All thanks to the great and very experienced team at Nicotras ballroom.

I recently held my wedding reception at Nicotra’s Ballroom, and if I could go back in time I would do it over and over again! From our first meeting, Sue walked us through the entire process and was always just an email away with any questions or concerns that crossed my mind. And for every time I felt like I was missing something, Sue had an entire checklist and plan for every detail of the night. Absolutely everything was taken care of, even a malfunction in my dress was fixed within minutes thanks to Jen our awesome bridal attendant! Multiple guests pulled me aside to let me know how impressed they were by the staff. I was worried I would be too busy to truly enjoy our reception but Tom, our maitre’d, made sure that didn’t happen. He handled every vendor for us and made sure the night went off without a hitch. And of course, just like every other bride and groom before us, we were too busy mingling to appreciate all of the amazing food, but when we got back to our suite portions of every single dish were waiting for us. I am so thankful for the entire staff at Nicotra’s Ballroom, what I thought would be the most stressful event of ive ever had to plan, ended up being the greatest time of my life! If you were considering using this team for your special day, trust me when I say you will not be disappointed!

We’re extremely happy we chose Nicotra’s for our wedding! We really wanted a venue where we could do everything in one spot to make it super convenient for our guests, and Nicotra’s was a perfect option. We had our ceremony outdoors at the gazebo, cocktail hour in the Trevi Garden, reception in Nicotra’s Ballroom, and our guests stayed in the Hilton. Sue Vaiana was our event planner and was a pleasure to work with. Sue is a seasoned pro in wedding planning– she was on top of her game and all of our details throughout the process. We had a lot of very specific ideas, requests, questions, etc., and Sue was always very responsive and knowledgeable. On the big day, everything ran very smoothly. Nicotra’s puts on multiple events/parties per day, but we always felt very catered to. Our bridal attendant and maitre d’ were very organized, attentive and enthusiastic. Sue checked in with us throughout the day, keeping an eye on everything. The staff, waiters, and bartenders were all great and professional. The food was excellent. The gazebo space, Trevi Garden and ballroom were all beautiful. Overall, we think our guests sincerely had an amazing time and will be a top wedding on their lists. We had a blast and were so thrilled to see our work pay off so beautifully thanks to Sue and the Nicotra’s staff. Also, many thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Nicotra for checking in to say hi during our reception!

We had our wedding at the Above Rooftop which is part of the Nicotra's Ballroom complex in Staten Island, NY. We had the most amazing wedding. The venue itself is spectacular with beautiful views from the ballroom. Our cocktail room had a balcony with fire pits and great views. Tremendous ambience! The food was incredible and plentiful. Our guests raved about the food. The staff, led by Sue Vaiana, catered to our every need, thought of things we never would have thought of and was prepared for anything that could possibly arise. Overall, we give the Nicotra's ballroom and their staff a grade of A++++.

Nicotra's Ballroom was the location for our wedding on 9/19/15! After a change in our wedding planner, we were so happy to work with Sue Vaiana, who made sure that everything went perfectly for our wedding, even helped us with planning our favors! Liz, our bridal attendant, was exceptional!!! She made sure that I had everything I needed, and anticipated every need! Definitely request Liz if she is available! Tom, our maitre d, was wonderful as well. Our guests complimented everything from the amazing food to the professional staff. They even loved the room with the windows and gorgeous view of the trees, as well as the presentation of the candle-lit windows when the shades lifted after my husband and I walked into the room. Everything from start to finish was perfect, and we HIGHLY recommend Nicotra's ballroom!

A perfect, stress free night at Nicotra's Ballroom! We got married on October 24, 2015 and had the pleasure to deal with Sue Vaiana. She is AMAZING. I can go on and on about everything she has done for us - when I needed her opinion or when I was freaking out, Sue was there to help me get through it. Everything that night went perfectly and Sue had everything under control. I was amazed with how smooth the night went and how beautiful and delicious everything was (the breakfast with our family and friends the next day was also amazing!). In addition to Sue, I had a bridal attendant, maître d' and all the other staff members at Nicotra's who really went above and beyond. They all made sure the night went great. If you want a beautiful reception and a smooth and stress free night, Nicotra's Ballroom is the place! I wish I could give 100 stars!

The wedding administrator Ms. Vaiana, was very quick to respond to all my needs. We corresponded through email and she was quick to help and give me ideas. Whenever I was nervous about my wedding or little things that could go wrong, she assured me that she would have everything under control, and on my wedding day her staff was right there with me to help in anything I needed. An example: three people stepped on my dress and tore it, and three times I had the staff person assigned to me, sew my dress. I recommend the Hilton in Staten Island to anyone who wants responsible and dedicated people to help on one of the most important days of your life. The cocktail hour was great, the dinner was wonderful and the Venetian hour was incredible.

Sue Vaiana made my life so easy. She was there to provide service with everything I needed. She wowed my guests. They are still raving about my wedding and the food that never stopped coming.

The Best day of my life happened on November 8, 2015 when I married my Best Friend but it would not have been as beautiful or memorable without the outstanding job, help and advise of Sue Vaiana and the Nicotra's Ballroom staff ....we can not thank you enough for making our wedding day and everthing before the big day a GREAT experience.

I had my wedding this past weekend (October 24) at Nicotra's Ballroom in Staten Island NY. We held our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception there. It was the most magical experience I have ever had. Everything I could have ever dreamed of as a little girl did not even come close. Working with Sue and my Bridal Attendant Jackie was like a walk through the park. Both ladies catered to me and my guests as if we were royalty. I never had to search for an attendant, because Jackie or Sue was always by my side guiding me through the evening, carrying my dress or shoes, fetching anything I or my guests may have needed. They put their absolute all in to making sure everyone was satisfied and had all their wishes fulfilled for the evening. We had a complimentary bridal suite to accommodate my bridal party all day long, before the wedding had even begun, with snacks and beverages while the photographers snapped away at us. It was magnificent, the setup was perfect, we had our reception in the Persimmon Ballroom and our cocktail hour was concluded in the Trevi Garden. Both areas were absolutely stunning and gave our wedding the personal touch and feel we acquired when booking this wonderful event. My husband and I are thoroughly satisfied with the staff at Nicotra's Ballroom, and we will definitely be booking our future events here!

We were ecstatic with the level and quality of service Sue and her team provided! In the span of our 3 year planning process, Sue made sure that everything was checked off, and to our liking. She made both the planning, as well as the event easy and seamless for us.
We had Victoria as our Bridal Attendant the evening of our wedding, and she was incredible to work with. Poised, calm, attentive, and professional with an amazing sense of urgency to anything we may have needed.
I cannot emphasize enough how Sue and her team at Nicotra's turned this one day that we were planning for 3 years into the event of a lifetime!

The quality of service offered by the team at Nicotra's is beyond anything we could have hoped for. Each team member went above and beyond to dedicate their time to our wedding day and the end result was magificient. Sue in events was such a pleasure to deal with. She has such a positive upbeat attitude and liked to think outside the box which was important to us. She was readily available to help with literally any and all requests we had. Jeff attended to our event and made sure our room was 100% perfect by the time we entered it. The food came out on time and the service provided by his team was top knotch. The food in itself was outstanding! So much variety and so very delicious! All of our guests complimented us on how great their food was. Mr. & Mrs. Nicotra were also present which to us was such a nice touch. As very busy people they took time from their hectic schedules to be a part of our day and that in itself showed us how serious they take their business and how much they appreciated our business. The rooftop manager (his name escapes me) set us up with our very own section after the wedding with champagne and privacy which was great. We wanted to be a part of the rooftop atmosphere without having to be in the middle of the whole crowd so this worked out perfectly. We also had a bridal attendant Jennifer. She was literally at my side the whole night. I have never been personally catered to so well in my entire life. No task was too big for her and the best part was she was so nice!!
We literally have not one negative thing to say about the venue, the staff or the food. They exceeded our expectations and have made our wedding day not only a great memory for my husband and I but but also to all our guests that attended. I strongly suggest you host your next event here.

Everything was amazing at my wedding. I wanted for nothing and the staff was exceptional. My wedding planner Sue and maitre d Tom were absolutely amazing and more than accommodating. I couldn't have asked for better service. Mr. and Mrs. Nicotra stopped bymy wedding to make sure everything was going well. They even gifted us amazing pj's that were personalized for my husband and I. I loved every second of my wedding and would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!

I don't even know where to start with Nicotra's...the food is amazing, the chef can make whatever you want, most of our menu was custom made....mini Cuban sandwiches, empanadas, skirt steak, lamb, I could go on and on. The staff is ridiculous...you take a sip of water BOOM here comes someone to fill up your water glass, they keep an eye on everything, and there was not one hiccup or issue the entire night. The grounds offers so many photo options and is well taken care of. Liz, our bridal attendant was amazing, she made sure we ate, drank, she was even like a body guard at times making sure that we had time to take a breather and weren't constantly stuck talking and not eating. She even set up our bridal suite room to something that you would see out of a movie...flower petals, candles lit everywhere, cookies! We got so many phone calls afterwards expressing how much people loved EVERYTHING! Lastly, none of this would have happened if it wasn't for Sue, our event planner, I almost wish I could have married her (don't tell my wife). She was so knowledgable about vendors, steered us in the right direction with everything, knew when to push when she had to and is such a genuine person. No matter when you email her or call, she'll be right there for you. To this day if I'm ever in Staten Island, I call/email Sue to see her and talk. Such a great place! Definitely check it out!!!

Our expeirence at Nicotra's Ballroom was perfect from beginning to end. Working with Jennifer Finch to plan our wedding couldn't have been any easier. The entire day far exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have been happier.

I loved everything about Nicotra's Ballroom from the beautiful grounds and outside space to the amazing attention the staff gave all of us. I would have every occassion here if I could.

Nicotra's Ballroom is responsible for the best day of my life. Sue Vaiana guided us through the entire process from start to finish---she answered all our questions quickly and professionally. Her team was incredible. I cannot express how happy I am that I went with Nictora's Ballroom over any other venue we could have booked. They made everything as easy as possible for us---they helped with the timing, the attendants helped us so much throughout the day with any tiny thing we could possibly want. Any need we had was met before we even knew to ask for it.
The food is incredible and you get incredible value for your money. The ceremony area is beautiful, our guests were never wanting for anything.
The reception was off the charts and Sue worked with our DJ so that he knew when everything was happening and when to get things going and when to tone it down but people were jumping up and dancing the whole time.
The parisienne dessert display put all of our guests over the edge---they couldn't believe there was even more and that everything was so artfully done----oh man, let me just say----chocolate FOUNTAIN!! Everything about the food was spectacular! None of our guests could possibly walk away from our wedding hungry no matter what their diet restrictions.
As soon as the wedding ended, every guest I talked to, whether they were in their 20's or their 60's said it was the best wedding they had ever been to----I know I worked my butt off but I have to say that if it weren't for Sue and her team it would not have been even close to as awesome as it turned out to be because there was so much going on in the background that we didn't have to worry about anything and the team made our wedding smooth as butter.
I loved having our venue as part of the hotel where our guests stayed for the most part--the hotel room/restaurant/bar and the club, Above, were also incredible! I would recommend this place to anyone who asked!!! You will love it!!!

This was an amazing venue. Throughout my planning process everyone kept asking if I was stressed and I wasn't at all. The Hilton/ Nicotra's Ballroom assigns you an event planner that helps you throughout the entire process. Shainah was my coordinator and she was amazing. She helped me with everything from picking my vendors, to organizing the breakfast for the following morning. Every time I needed help she was only an email or phone call away. For my wedding day I had a bridal attendant Brianna who took care of my every need the entire day and even sewed my dress when the bustle hook broke. Vito was our maitre d' he was so organized and made my night go amazing without a hiccup. The Nictora's have an amazing staff and beautiful venue. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to any bride that does not want to stress.

Our wedding at Nicotra's was AMAZING!!! Our wedding planner was Sue and she was such a pleasure to work with. She answered all of my questions in a timely fashion ( and there were MANY questions!!) and was always very accommodating with all of the special touches we wanted to have at our wedding!! We had our ceremony outside in the gorgeous gazebo. Our cocktail hour was in the beautiful Trevi Garden. The food was beyond delicious! My bridal attendant Brianna was amazing as well. she did everything from holding my train down the aisle to wrapping up our left overs and putting them in our room for later. All of the staff was super friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. Our friends and family are still talking abut how beautiful our wedding was!! We were provided with a complimentary suite the night of our wedding and came back to find our room lit with candles and scattered with rose petals! We even received PJ's and personalized pillowcases from Mr. & Mrs. Nicotra as a wedding gift! My husband & I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day!

My husband and I got married at Nicotra's Ballroom on Labor Day weekend. Everything from the venue itself to the service was wonderful. The staff was so professional and accommodating to our every need. The outdoor gazebo was perfect for an outdoor evening ceremony and was absolutely breathtaking (with minimal flowers needed). There is a bridal swing, fountain, and Chinese garden, beautiful for pictures as well. My bridal attendant was always by my side and had anything you could possibly need on your wedding day in her pocket! We stayed in the bridal suite, which was spacious and very comfortable, and may I add, a 3 chair vanity that the hair and makeup artists really appreciated. We had a Russian style wedding where "Russian Elite Caterering" catered the whole event; this was a huge plus when choosing a venue for us. Overall, Nicotra's Ballroom and the Hilton Garden Inn are a perfect place to celebrate your wedding day. The additional option for friends and family to stay overnight in the hotel made it that more special to spend with everyone!

Our wedding at Nicotra’s ballroom was everything and more then we could have imagined. Sue was our events coordinator and she went above and beyond our expectations. She was always just a phone call away whenever I needed something no matter how ridiculous it was. The food was excellent and even now a month later our guests are still raving about it. For any one that is getting married here I highly recommend getting Jen as your bridal attendant and Jeff as your Maître D. Jen was there for me the entire night helping me with anything I needed. They also sent food up to our room after the wedding in case we didn’t get to eat. Nicotra’s was the first place we looked for our dream wedding and we knew this was where we were going to get married. Everything was perfect.

Love love love. That is all I can say. From the moment we stepped into Nicotra's my husband and I knew this is wehre we were getting married. We met with Andrea who is the sweetest person that you will ever meet. She was always a phone call or email away during our 15 months of planning. She never hesitated when I sent her an email with a laundry list of questions. At our tasting we met the Chef and he suggested a different way he wcould prepare one of the entrees so it was to our taste. When we arrived at Nicotra's we were met by our bridal attendant Bri, LOVED her! I have heard of horror stories of how bride's didn't like their attendant at other locations but Bri was on top of everything. Everything the night of our wedding was fantastic - the food was exceptional, the service was top notch, and not a thing was out of place. My guests were truly blown away. I couldn't be happier. We received a stay in the bridal suite that night and by the time we went up to our room all our packages and extras were neatly packed up and put in the room for us. There were even containers of food for us to pick on. Mr. Nicotra and his wife even stopped by during the reception to check on us, they are wonderful. I hope to be invited to a wedding a Nicotra's!!!

OMG, love this place for more than one reason.
The obvious, my wedding was beautiful. The staff was amazing Pre, during, post wedding. This place is like a resort, you need to not go anywhere else, not even for pictures, its so beautiful.
Nicotra's is the wing of the Hilton Garden Inn. New bridal suites were beautiful. and they have everything you need on site, from Rehearsal dinner at Lorenzo's to couples massages (to take stress away) at Grottos Spa.

Nicotra's was our first and last stop when choosing wedding halls !! We were not disappointed the least by making such a decision. Patricia Banks was amazing and made sure our day went as smooth as possible. Each room was more beautiful than the last. Having an outdoor gazebo on premise was the winning ticket for us for having our ceremony there. The food was awesome and staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay there.

I had my wedding at Nicotra's Ballroom on February 19th and I can't say enough good things about this venue. I worked with Jennifer, who answered all my questions and helped greatly with our wedding planning. With 75 guests, we decided to have the cocktail hour in a small portion of the ballroom and the reception in the Tea House. If anyone else is considering this set up, I would highly recommend it. Both rooms were beautiful and the Tea House looked amazing, with four tables set up on each side of the room. I was hesitant at first because i'd usually see the Tea House set up for a cocktail hour but the room is so big, we could have fit many more guests comfortably.

The main reason why we chose Nicotra's Ballroom was their reputation. One time while visiting the venue, Mr. Nicotra met with us and showed us every banquet room in the venue. He knew we were having a small wedding but took the time out to answer our questions and give us his feedback. Having a winter wedding I was also concerned about choosing a location that would be dependable in case of a storm, and Mr. Nicotra put all our worries at ease, explaining that during the event of bad weather, he can have his staff stay at the hotel overnight so everything would be up and running for our wedding. After booking the venue, I was so relaxed and had one less thing to worry about.

During the night of our wedding, both the cocktail hour food and dinner was amazing. Friends and family continue to say great things about the food and the venue. The Tea House looked beautiful, and the weather was surprisingly so nice that we were able to take outdoor pictures on the property and at the gazebo. One of my husbands sisters young friends thought the cocktail hour was the dinner and was amazed by all the food she saw throughout the night lol.

I didn't think we'd be able to afford a wedding at Nicotra's Ballroom and i'm glad we made the visit to the venue- this was one of the best choices we ever made. I highly recommend this vendor and can't thank them enough for making our wedding so perfect.

I cannot say enough good things about Nicotra's Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn! The food was amazing, our ballroom was gorgeous, the staff was sooo attentive. They ensured our day went as smoothly as possible. Our event coordinator, Andrea, was a pleasure to work with. It's the little things they did that made our day extra special: the owners of the hotel and ballroom, Mr. & Mrs. Nicotra, showed up during our reception to make sure we and our parents were happy with everything. My bridal attendant, Jen, was always a step ahead of me... she always had a drink waiting for me, she brought my flip flops over after our first dance, and even packed up food from the cocktail our and brought it up to our room. As my one year anniversary approaches this week, I can tell you The Nicotra's sent me a one year anniversary gift! We are so appreciative of everything they did for us and would love to have future events at Nicotra's.

I've been planning my wedding with our event cooridnator Andrea Vicotrio for 22 months and can't say enough about her great communication and advice. Her phone calls and emails were answered promptly and she was great explaining all of our details. Also, my bridal attendant Breanne was AMAZING!!!!!!!! I don't know what I would have done that day without her!!! We got married in the outside gazebo and had our reception in the bigger room (with the glass windows) and everything was beyond perfect. The Hilton staff was like a well oiled machine and had my day run so smooth it was unbelievable. The cocktail hour was amazing...food and service was great...and the venetain hour was more than we expected. They also threw in some extras (gave us the Saturday menu for our Sunday wedding and threw in a few extra stations during cocktail hour) If you are looking for a beautiful venue, where you don't have to worry about a thing, book Nicotras!!!!

I loved this place. They were very organized and helpful throughout the whole process we contacted them and had an wonderful service we got transportation,an officiant, and professional photographers.this place has an absolutely beautiful view.

Everything was perfect. We got to have the ceremony in the tent room, the cocktail hour in the Tea Garden, and the reception in the ballroom. The place is beautiful and the food is great. It was perfect.

My husband and I joked that if we were rich, we’d keep throwing money at this venue because we can’t imagine how we’d ever thank them for such an amazing event. Our contact at the venue (Carroll Tavella) walked us through the entire planning process and her input was invaluable.

I have to comment on the service at Nicotra’s. We could tell the employees love their workplace and their employers. Every time we walked in to the Hilton, whether we were dropping off payment or coming for a tasting, we were greeted with warm and friendly welcomes. We’d be sitting in the lobby with 5 or 6 employees passing as well as the owners, and every one of them would stop and offer us drinks. That sort of culture of hospitality wouldn’t exist in a working environment where employees weren’t happy. You can tell everyone loves their jobs and takes pride in their work. The service on our wedding day was excellent as well. My husband and I were pampered to the point where our amazing bridal attendant (Jen) wouldn’t even let me carry my own bouquet. The waiters were all polite and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more. Even upon leaving the hotel on Monday for our honeymoon, the gentleman at the counter told me to “take whatever I wanted” as I ran in their convenience store for a quick stock of benadryl.

The reception was worth every penny. There are a few venues on the island that are less expensive, but Nicotra’s just gave us so much for the money. We were blown away at our tasting and the actual reception food was no exception. Our cocktail hour was a meal in itself with action stations, stationary stations, and tons of passed hors d’oeuvres. I had requested mini grilled cheeses be added to the menu and to my surprise, three varieties of the mini sandwiches were provided at no extra cost to us. Everyone raved about the food, which was impressive considering we had quite a few amateur food critics. We had booked with Nicotra’s because it was the only venue we had never heard a negative comment about, and there was good reason for that reputation. The parents were receiving calls for the entire honeymoon about how amazing the food was and how large the selection was! From what we ate at the cocktail hour, and of the pasta course and the tasting of each entrée (they brought us all four!), the food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! By far, the best “wedding food” I had ever encountered and I’m not only saying that because it was my own wedding.

I really could go on forever about how every little detail about this venue was perfect, from setting up our event to our beautiful suite for our wedding night. I can’t accurately put into words how grateful we were. I couldn’t recommend Nicotra’s Ballroom more highly.

We loved everything about our wedding at Nicotra's! Sue was a dream to work with, and the venue was gorgeous. All of our guests complimented the space. Everyone was so accommodating---we got to take pictures in several different locations around the venue, customize a Hungarian food station for our cocktail hour, and move our wedding inside once we heard it might rain. This past weekend we had our wedding at Nicotra's Ballroom. Given how many events they have at the space, I was a little apprehensive if they would be attentive to us on our special day.

Over the last year and a half we have worked with the most amazing planner, Alessandra. She answered all my questions thoroughly (I have a lot) and even up till the wedding was able to accommodate last minute details.

On our wedding day, Nictora's Ballroom went above and beyond, the service and attention we received was amazing. We had the absolute best bridal attendant, Jennifer & Maitre'D (Tom) who checked in on us and was able to accommodate myself and my husband. The night turned out amazing and I'm so happy we picked this venue. Everything is conveniently located in the same spot which our guests were really happy about. We highly recommend!

My wedding guests have not stopped talking about the food, venue, and service! Jennifer and her team were absolutely perfect! They created our vision down to every detail. Jen was always avaliable to answer questions and keep me calm! We couldn't be happier with the whole experience from start to finish! It was absolutely a magical night!!

Nicotra's Ballroom is a hidden gem and I am so happy I found them for my wedding day. We could not have been happier with our choice and we know our guest loved it too because they won't stop telling us about it! This venue has everything, the beautiful outdoors and indoors, delicious food and even connected to a hotel. Not to mention their amazing staff, they had everything we were looking for!

My husband and I got married in the Trevi Garden In November. Our wedding was one of the greatest nights of my life. The staff was amazing and we couldnt have asked for a better wedding planner. Sue Vaiana. She helped me thru my stress and everything that was needed that night. Food was great. Alcohol was flowing. Music was bumping and my guests said the next day what a great time they had!

Great venue to have your reception and ceremony! Sue was my event planner and she is fabulous to work with! She accommodated all my needs and helped to create my custom menu for my brunch wedding!

Our wedding night went incredibly well and truly exceeded our expectations. Alessandra did her best to make the night memorable and flow smooth. The food was fantastic and our guests raved about the variety, flavors, and beautiful presentation. We especially want to recognize Jackie the bridal assistant for her outstanding support. She was calm, organized, and incredibly helpful, ensuring that the entire day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. We also appreciate the quality of service provided by the bartender, and the servers.

One area of feedback: at times, when we made requests such as using the entire reception room instead of just part of it, and when our bridal suite was changed with out notification ahead of time, we initially felt some hesitation. However, by the end of the day, Alessandra made it happen, and we appreciated her flexibility.

Overall, we could not be happier with the service and experience — 5/5!

My husband and I were the first to have a brunch engagement party in the outdoor room at Nicotra's. I went in and asked for what i wanted and although they had never done it before, they were accommodating and gave me what I wanted. It was a Sunday brunch, the room was bright and lovely. It has since been redecorated and upgraded and is even nicer. At the time the service wasn't great, likely because it was a new experience for the servers. Many guests complained about not getting their coffee with their cake, and the bar tender waited until exactly 12:00pm to serve drinks even though it was 11:55am. Mr. Nicotra himself came in to see how everything was, and I truly feel they did a quality job considering. I would highly recommend their services - they were expensive but the atmosphere and food were delicious.

I decided to have my wedding here about a year ago. It was convenient for me and my guests because many of them were coming from overseas or out of town so having the convenience of a hotel room upstairs was perfect! The first wedding planner we met with was named Shanna. She was awful because she did not seem to care about any of our needs and merely wanted us to spend, without considering our budget. I decided to request for a different wedding planner. The next one we got was Sue. She was willing and able to accommodate our various requests and work within our budget ($35-40K). Although she did not understand many cultural aspects of our wedding, she was willing to work with us, which was great! She was also timely and responsive to our e-mails and meetings.
The problems began the day of my wedding:
I did not receive the bridal suite in a timely manner despite me having paid and agreed to it! I had to get ready in one of the salons for the parties. The lights were dim (no windows, it was cold, and not ideal for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in. The photographers had to bring my wedding gown up to the bridal suite when it was finally available in order to take the pictures. Furthermore, The bridal attendant was walking in and out pushing me to hurry up and pushing my makeup artist as well.
The service was overall okay, and the food, preferred vendors and staff were great. There are certain areas that need improvement however starting with the organization!

My husband and I were married at Nicotra’s on 10/20/23, our event planner Alessandra, bridal attendant Jackie and maitre d’ Tom provided us with excellent service personally. Jackie was fantastic, she was by my side at all times and helped me throughout the day, I am very thankful for her! She was the best. However, we were very disappointed with the feedback we received from our family and guests. There was a lack of direction for our arriving guests, no one knew where to go and people were just wandering all over the place. Several guests also noted that the food quality and service during the reception were inconsistent. Some waiters offered steak to be cooked only rare or medium while other tables were only offered medium or well done. Unfortunately many of our guests found the steak to be excessively tough and difficult to cut. There were also notable delays in serving the meals, which left a less-than-ideal impression on our guests.
On top of that, after Jon’s Aunt stated her steak was tough, the waiter offered the table steak knives instead of a new steak. She also said he was very rude to her. Another guest of mine had to tip their table waiter in order to get some service, he wanted coffee at the end of the night. I thought coffee and tea was supposed to be offered to our guests anyway, so why did a tip needed to be given for that to be received?

All in all, the staff was not attentive to our guests. Very disappointed and embarrassed to hear this from our loved ones.
