BEST Planners!!
Lindsy and her team are the BEST! I went with the full wedding planning package with them and I am so happy I did. Lindsy and her team helped pull my wedding off in about 8 months and I could not have done it without them.
They are so professional, fun, creative, and organized - everything you would want in a planner. My wedding was stunning and everything was perfect. I did not have to worry about anything as Lindsy and her team already had everything covered. I highly recommend them!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. -

Perfection!!!
The team at Music City Events is incredible. They offered end to end planning for my husband and I from 4,000 miles away. They were able to facetime me at every potential venue spot, manage all vendor needs, and provide amazing day off coverage. They were also able to gather quotes and suggestions for all my quirky wedding wishes, include lots of giant clear balloons! My wedding day was perfect thanks to their HARD work. Their hustle also allowed my family and friends to be present during the day, instead of scrambling to put out fired. They were worth every penny and honestly saved me quite a few as well!!! -

Exactly what we needed
With everything that goes into planning and having a wedding, the most comforting aspect of the whole process was how confident we were in Lindsy Read and her team at Music City Events. Lindsy was insightful, professional and knew exactly how to step in to help me and my husband achieve the perfect wedding we had envisioned for ourselves. We couldn’t have had such an amazing experience without having the support of one of the best teams we have ever worked with. We were able to truly be present the entire day through each monumental moment of our wedding ceremony and we will forever have those memories because Music City Events had full control over each tiny detail allowing us to focus our full attention on the reason why we were celebrating our marriage in the first place. We would recommend Lindsy and Music City Events to anyone and everyone because they will most certainly be able to help with any event planning you may need! -

Highly Recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
When we started planning our wedding I firmly believed that I could handle everything on my own, without the help of a wedding planner. As the day drew closer, so did the stress and I began to despise every moment that I spent planning. Then I met Heather. She was my wedding planning angel, guiding me along the way and helping us with the logistics. With her advice and recommendations we were able to finally make some decisions and plan the day of our dreams.
They say that things go wrong on your wedding day, but I’ll be the first to say that if things did go wrong, I didn’t know about them! We had to make some last minute changes as a storm popped up on the radar which put a damper on our outdoor ceremony but Heather and Lindsey were on top of things, moving and coordinating everything for an indoor ceremony, then they flipped the space for our reception in record time while we took photos. Heather even helped me pull off a surprise grooms cake!
The ladies were so professional and helpful and I know our wedding would have been a mess without them! We’d highly recommended them! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 -

A sigh of relief
At first I told my wife that we didn't need a wedding planner. Once I realized how much really goes into a wedding, I was shocked at how grossly unprepared we were. Lindsey stepped in and smoothed out the fine details of our wedding. She put together the pieces we were missing, and sometimes had failed to even consider with exquisite proficiency. I'm so grateful for her! I'm glad I went with this company, and I would seriously recommend them to anyone in need! -

Creative and Attentive Wedding Planning
Working with Lindsy of Music City Events for a consultation has been a phenomenal experience! She listened to our personal style and vision. She then took our ideas to develop a coherent theme for the wedding. We especially enjoyed the insight she brought pairing us with vendors that could carry out the ultimate vision for our day. The additional suggestions to use items we could incorporate in our future home has been delightful. She created a plan that I cannot wait to carry out. It’s truly been a joy to work with her! -

As I sit here wondering how to possibly list all of the things that made my experience with Music City Events what it was, and I am getting teary-eyed. You will not find kinder, more professional planners than Sarah and her team. Sarah guided me through each decision, helped us to narrow down the things my husband and I valued most for our wedding, and delivered the most beautiful, most fun wedding that we have ever experienced. The team at Music City Events is absolutely top-notch: Mary Anna ensured that our ceremony and all of the details surrounding it ran smoothly, and Sarah, Lindsy, and Heather were waiting for us at the reception to ensure that not only were our guests well taken care of, but so were we! Appetizers and drinks were waiting for us when we arrived, and my husband still talks about the fact that whenever the drink in his hand was near empty, someone from Music City Events approached him with another drink. Talk about attention to detail! And the design elements at our wedding came to life all because of Sarah's creativity and keen eye. For a flawless wedding-planning experience, you must choose Music City Events! -

You won't find a better planners than Sarah & the MCE team. Their knowledge of the industry, honest opinions and overall support took the stress out of planning a wedding from all the way across the country. I hired the ladies for Day Of Coordination as I am an event planner and felt confident in handling the rest of the details. Regardless of the package I chose, when I emailed asking for thoughts, suggestions and opinions, they were always quick to give a detailed and helpful reply (along with some encouragement during the more stressful parts of planning). On the day of, Lindsy and MaryAnna took my timeline, scribbled notes and boxes of decor and somehow managed to create the most beautiful, seamless wedding day. As I was getting ready and relaxing in the bridal suit, they took care of every detail and handled every vendor so I didn't have to. When I stepped into my reception from cocktail hour, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was so much better than I could have ever thought it would be. The entire day was so magical and MCE was such a huge part of it success. If you plan to hire a coordinator, either for full planning or just day of, these ladies are the only option. -

So, I'm a little delayed with my review but in my defense I spent the first 3-4 months post wedding praying for salvation from the nausea induced by our lovely lil honeymoon baby. Our wedding took place in downtown Nashville on April 30th 2016. Living in Atlanta, our planning was long distance and depended on email. Mary Anna was timely and responsive to every concern, question, and detail. This made the planning process so easy and well organized. The husband and I both have very busy jobs so we really didn't want to turn the wedding planning process into a long drawn out unnecessarily complicated endeavor. Our engagement was approximately 8 months and the most stress free experience. We scheduled meetings during our weekend trips to Nashville during which we often combined meetings with Mary Anna and our vendors into one day. Having gotten an idea of our personality and vibe, she had awesome suggestions for our venue and vendors. We trusted her suggestions which helped make our decisions quick and easy. The day of the wedding was seemingly seamless. I say seemingly bc I realize that there were likely issues that popped up but I was never aware of them and most importantly her team took care of everything without looking stressed. Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception flip were seamless. The place was so beautiful and we all had an AMAZING time. So much fun!! You know your planner is good when everyone else also remarks on how good she is. Everything turned out the way I envisioned. The wedding day was stress free allowing us to really experience the day and enjoy the party. As a bonus, she kept a glass of champagne in our hands all night (like literally...I would turn around...and there she was with a glass)...we couldn't have asked for more! I wouldn't change a thing about that magical day! If you're getting married, use Music City events!!!! Warm and friendly, organized, experienced, professional, and intent on making your day perfect! -

My husband and I worked with Mary Anna at Music City Events to plan our June 2016 wedding at Two Rivers Mansion. We were thrilled with the service we received! From start to finish Mary Anna made everything STRESS-FREE for us! Basecamp is used to track due dates for decisions that need to be made, payments that are due, tasks to be completed. We absolutely loved the use of Basecamp! It made it easy to stay on track and let us know what to start thinking about. Mary Anna's connections in the wedding industry in Nashville led to us having not just the wedding of our dreams but a wedding that fit our personalities and was within our budget! Little touches the day of the wedding such as making sure we had drinks in our hand as soon as the ceremony was over and making sure we had diet Mountain Dew in the Limo leaving the wedding pushed her service over the top! I would absolutely recommend Mary Anna to anyone planning a wedding here in Nashville! -

My husband and I really loved working with Music City Events. Our planner, Mary Anna was a dream! She kept us on schedule since we were planning our wedding from afar, and she was so helpful in coordinating all of the vendors once we got closer to the date. We had zero stress throughout the entire planning process. Whatever your budget- (we picked the smallest package) MCE is well worth every penny if you really want to enjoy every minute of your engagement time, planning process, and wedding day! -

These ladies will work their butts off with smiles on their faces to make sure you have a truly perfect day! We hired MCE to help plan our wedding. Since we live 3 hours away from Nashville, having someone actually there & with more experience made everything so much easier. There were some details we were very picky about & others that neither I nor my now husband had any preference for, but Lindsy was flexible & worked hard to make sure every little detail was taken care of ahead of time & fit perfectly with our theme & style. She did her best to accommodate us when we made our few, brief trips to Nashville in the months leading up to the wedding. Sarah was a huge help in getting us started planning overall, and Lindsy was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. She set us up with the greatest vendors, worked within our budget, & kept us on track & calm when we started losing our minds. I honestly don't think I've ever seen anyone work as hard as Lindsy, Mary Anna, and their co-workers did the day of our wedding, & they made it look easy. They were so friendly, & the day was seamless & perfect. To say we recommend MCE would be an understatement. We strongly urge you to contact them for your event!! -

Sarah was nothing less than AMAZING! I honestly do not know what I would have done with out her. After speaking to a number of different planners I knew she was best! She made everything easy. MCE was amazing throughout the process - patient, calm, reassuring, organized, responsive, creative. The event itself was perfect - except for a bit of rain, we would not change a thing. Sarah and Deb took care of everything and anything. We literally had as many comments from guests about how great they were as we did about the band and the food (both of which were very good)! -

This is the second wedding Sarah has coordinated for my family. She did an amazing job. My mother and I attempted to plan the wedding ourselves, and decided to contact Sarah to take over. This was the best decision ever as Sarah went above and beyond to handle everything and make the wedding stress-free and enjoyable. Sarah is the best! There is absolutely NO better wedding planner than this anywhere! I am convinced of that! Sarah and I met through my photographer after I had decided to let my former wedding planner go. She and her team had less than three months to pull together every last detail for our wedding. Not to mention, we planned this completely long-distance- I currently live in CA and the wedding was at home in TN.
After dealing with another planner, and then starting to work with Music City Events, the difference was MIND-BLOWING. I kid you not, my wedding planning process was so stress free that it almost seems unreal. Sarah and her team planned THREE events for us - the rehearsal, an outdoor dinner, and the wedding itself. Each event was unique and better than anything I have ever seen/experienced in my life.
This team made my parents happy with their budgeting, my high-maintenance then-fiancée happy with the food, scheduling, and all vendor recommendations, and myself happy with everything! There is not a single thing I would have changed. We had a bunch of moving parts and they handled every last detail with grace and extreme efficiency. They even had an area for the kids with amazing props, games, etc. It was amazing.
I am quite high-maintenance, a control freak, and VERY picky - and so is my husband. I thought there was no way that anyone could make my vision and ideas come to life, but they absolutely nailed it, and then some. We had the most classy, elegant, fun, and amazing wedding I could have ever asked for, and it is absolutely because of Sarah and Music City Events.
I promise you cannot go wrong if you use this team! I owe them so much and would recommend them to anyone planning ANY kind of party.
...and the kicker - they're much more reasonably priced than all the other planners in town. It's a no-brainer, you won't be disappointed if you use Sarah and Music City Events for your next event.

I can't say enough about this company, especially Sarah Willard. She is great! She is a very energetic, positive, sweet sweet person. She helped planning my wedding/reception from one month before. I did not have to worry about a thing. She took care of everything. When I begin planning, I was absolutely clueless. Sarah helped me tremendously, by offering her opinion and sometimes just being a friend and calming my nerves. The day of the wedding went fantastic. I can honestly say not a thing went wrong. Thanks to this company! They are there for you every minute of the wedding and reception. They helped with my dress, refilled my drink, and were there to answer any questions or solve any problems. All of our wedding party and guests continue to rave about how awesome the wedding was and how smoothly everything went. Could not have asked for a more PERFECT day! The stress that day was actually close to non-existent (okay maybe just a little higher than that!) but all because I knew I had Sarah and her crew there to take care of our needs :) Could not have done it without them! Deb Hagerty worked with my daughter Emma Drozdowski Webb on her November 10 wedding. We contracted with her to wok with us to assist in finding vendors we needed specifically a band and on equipment rental. She found A great band within the budget and got us the best value on equipment rental. She met with us to plan the event and made great suggestions to help plan the wedding. The evening of the wedding Deb and her associates were awesome. The wedding could no have been better in no small part because of her timely and professional work. We are very organized people, but we could not have done this without her. We highly recommend her and and Music City Events! DonnaLefebvre, bride's mother. -

We hired Sarah to handle things for the final month before our wedding, and she really did take care of all the little details. Once she had all of the vendors' information, she coordinated and scheduled everything. She was practically my only point of contact for the last few weeks, which really made everything much simpler. She has a very calming personaility and just really made my husband, mom and myself feel like everything was under control. I would highly recommend Sarah and the "month of" package for anyone wanting someone to trust with all the little details during the final weeks before the wedding. Having her around to organize the rehearsal and wedding day really allowed me to enjoy the wedding and the days leading up to it. -

Deb was wonderful to work with from MCE and made my day even better than I had imagined. I had some unusual requests & we wanted things more non-traditional. She found us amazing vendors, the best food (all agreed) and it all came together beautifully. I will say working with Cellar One was a bit challenging at times but Deb took the lead and dealt with it. I would highly highly recommend them. So worth the money, value & sanity! -

Miss Sarah Willard came into our lives approximately eight months before our wedding completely by chance. From our first meeting, it was not only immediately apparent that we would ABSOLUTELY be choosing to work with her for the remainder of our engagement but that every moment of the planning process with her was going to be incredibly fun.It was quickly evident to us both that Sarah was genuinely interested in us as a couple and wanted to know and identify with our story. This was a vastly different approach compared to in the way other planners we had interviewed paid lip service to that sort of thing; asking canned questions that got them closer to the close then any real attempt at getting to know us better. Sarah on the other hand through a much more thoughtful and memorable conversation came to understand what we valued in each other as future husband and wife using that as a foundation to help us realize how that could be represented genuinely on our wedding day...and was it ever. Everything was perfectly romantic and flawlessly executed.
While we imagine that all wedding and event planners can create aesthetically pleasing events, what set Sarah apart and made us appreciate her as much more than just our wedding planner was her passion. She loves her job...adores it...and that comes across at every stage of the process. This gal has a gift. She is a creative force of energy not to be reckoned with.
You know, one thing that Sarah mentioned in our first conversation that I originally overlooked was that she not only wanted our big day to run perfectly but she wanted our memory of it to be perfect. Now that our wedding has passed, I realize how absolutely perfect our memory really is. There was no stress, no running around or yelling trying to get things in order. There was just joy. The most glowing of all glowing reviews could not even begin to describe Sarah. Investing in her services as a wedding planner was easily the best investment we made for our wedding (and probably for our life). From the moment we met I knew we had found a very special person. She understood my partner and I, she understood our vision, and she was a hoot and a half. We immediately felt her professionalism, creativity, and spirit but we had no idea how much more she has to offer. Sarah was a joy to work with in every aspect of our planning. She was available to help us through every decision, unreasonable freakout, and guide us towards the best possible vendors for our budget. She was there with a calm voice, helpful tips, can-do attitude, and the ability to make me laugh when all I wanted to do was cry.Trust me, at some point in the process you will want to cry. Having Sarah in your corner is the best possible way to bounce back and know you have someone who can take care of everything. She is truly a visionary - able to create something amazing out of the few jumbled words I could throw at her to describe what we wanted. Our wedding day was perfect. Things go wrong, vendors mess up, times get messed up, it rains...even in the most perfect of weddings things go wrong but with Sarah's help and team there is no need to stress (and you probably won't even know something went wrong until it is fixed - she's that good).
There are no words to describe how happy I am with the services provided by Sarah and her team. She is a fantastic planner and wonderful and dear friend. I could not imagine planning a wedding without her as the center of my team. I would write a million reviews if I could. Sarah is worth every penny.

Sarah and her team were very easy to work with and really helped us out a great deal with the wedding. In particular MCE excelled at providing a number of vendors for us to choose from that were within our proice range. We had some special considerations regarding catering and MCE took that seriously, making sure the vendors provided to us could work within our needs. MCE was also extremely helpful with decor ideas and day of decorating! Everything was really lovely and looked fantastic in person and in photography.
It's really nice to have an expert to bouce questions to and to have someone able to heard the cats day before and day of. Having a great planner/planning team really saved us a lot of time sprent on research and stress was kept to prety minimal levels the week of. It's nice to have someone who's got your back! -

What can I say?!?! Sarah and her team were absolutely WONDERFUL!!! As someone who did not grow up in Nashville, I had no idea where to start with vendors. Sarah was always willing to brainstorm with me a list of people to contact. She was always spot-on with her list to fit our budget and style. She not only saved us $$$$ but our sanity as well! As everyone on here knows, wedding planning can be a bit overwhelming and Sarah helped us keep it together through a promotion at work, the holidays, and the final weeks before the wedding! She was an absolute lifesaver!
I haven't even mentioned the day of!!! Let me start by saying...I love our church, our pastor, and everything about it....but, we had to unfortunately deal with the WEDDING COMMITTEE!!! Well, one member of the wedding committee to be honest. She was a "peach" and at times, both my husband and i thought she was deliberately trying to ruin the day for everyone. At one point in time, she actually SHOVED Sarah! YES, you read that correctly. Anyhow, Sarah handled her with style and grace, with a firmness that never crossed the line. I wish I were able to keep myself in check as Sarah did. she should maybe offer a training course!
Sarah never let us down all day. I have never felt more waited on than at our reception! We wouldn't have been able to have our first dance, cut our cake, or get everyone dancing had Sarah not been there. Anyone who tells you not to have a wedding planner and let your band/dj or family member keep the night in line...tell them to buzz off! You can't even remotely think about that stuff....we needed Sarah to put us where we needed to be. She was our lifesaver! I definitely 100% recommend Music City Events! -

Sarah knocked it out of the park for us on our wedding day. When little things came up, she figured out plan B in no time without us having to worry about what to do. Little touches like making sure we had a private dinner (so that we actually ate!) helped make our wedding day so memorable. She and her team were so easy and fun to work with…they’d even slip us refills on our drinks mid-conversation so that we wouldn’t be interrupted! Sarah was amazing! She and my daughter clicked right away, and we were able to work with her beautifully throughout the whole engagement to ceremony. She is so efficient that I didn't know she was doing everything without having to be asked, and one time I panicked ~ alas she had it covered all the way! After that I was able to relax and understand that she had taken care of everything, and if she had questions, she called and was easily accessible.
Her personality is wonderful. She treats you as though you are only bride getting married, and her warmth and concern make her truly delightful and fun!
She has a true artistic eye and was able to transform our vision into exactly what our daughter wanted.
Her rates and packages are very reasonable and flexible and she is the reason that everyone at our wedding had a ball. You can tell by the pictures; it was a fantastic wedding weekend, thanks to Sarah! -

Sarah was without a doubt one of the best parts of our wedding! I tend to be a serious worrier, but never worried once during the wedding day! I also didn't have to worry about dealing with our many vendors needing last minute details. Sarah took care of all of it. I think my now husband was the most grateful for Sarah, since he didn't have to deal with a stressed out bride :) She brought several assistants for our wedding day and took care of EVERYTHING, including last minute decorations and centerpieces. My wife works in the business, and we had a lot of DIY projects planned for the wedding. Sarah, and the Music City Event staff took extra care in making sure that the day of the wedding went off without a hitch. Ensuring that all of our vendors (we had more than normal due to winning a contest) arrived on time and followed through on our expectations gave my wife and I great reassurance.
From handling scheduling, overseeing big and small details, attending fittings and tastings, giving advice on budget management, and being a contact for family and friends, we couldn't have asked for more from Sarah and her staff. They are professional, organized, have a keen eye for design elements, flexible with budgets and curveballs, and are an absolute pleasure to work with.
The last thing you should be worried about on the day of your wedding is whether the gift table has the right table cloth on it. You need a planner, you may not think so yet, but you do. You'd be hard pressed to find a better one in the middle Tennessee area. -

We didn't have a wedding planner when our oldest daughter was married, but learned that we definitely should have had one. Our oldest daughter had a beautiful wedding and folks told us that they had a lot of fun, but my husband and I were so busy with the details of the day that we had a hard time enjoying the wedding day festivities ourselves.
We met Sarah at a Bridal Fair soon after our second daughter became engaged and liked her immediately. We found her to be very knowledgeable and always professional. I am so glad I found Music City Events!! I met with several planners before deciding on MCE. They were, by far, the most affordable for the services you get! Deb and the two, yes, two, assistants on the the day of the wedding were invaluable! I had 0 stress the day of my wedding. Deb met with me multiple times to answer my millions of questions and calm my nerves. She had every minute planned that kept the reception fun and running smoothly. I received so many compliments on how helpful Deb was. Also, Deb went above and beyond when my cousin thought she left her cell phone in the church...which was locked. Deb made phone calls and was going to come back to the church, first thing in the morning, to get the phone for her. Thankfully, my cousin ended up finding it, but was so grateful to Deb for going the extra mile and being so willing to help find it. After our original plans for a Day of Wedding Coordinator fell through, we requested recommendations from friends for a new Day of Wedding Coordinator. Sarah Willard was recommended by some friends who had been married just a few months prior. I met Sarah one week before my wedding, but had sent her a timeline and vendor information before the meeting. Sarah was extremely professional and came to the meeting well prepared. I was very impressed that she had already familiarized herself with the plans for the day.
Our wedding was scheduled to be held 98% outdoors (ceremony and reception was to be outdoors and food and drinks were to be served indoors but eaten outdoors). The week of the wedding, the forecast remained in the 60-70 percent chance for rain and thunderstorms. Sarah was extremely responsive throughout the week and helped to prepare rain contingency plans. In order to prepare for rain, we had an additional tent set up on the lawn where the reception was to be held.
When I arrived at the venue, the venue coordinator notified me that the area on the lawn where the additional tent had been set up had flooded and would be unable to be used. Sarah worked with the venue, florist, and other vendors to rearrange the ceremony and the reception in a way that would MAGICALLY house well over 200 guests in a way that kept them all from getting wet.
Later, when the tornado sirens started going off, Sarah sped up the evening's events to make sure we were still able to get our garter toss and bouquet toss in before the sparkler send off, while also ensuring we still had enough remaining guests.
Throughout the entire evening, Sarah worked calmly and professionally to turn our very hectic wedding day into a memorable and beautiful evening.
We were so thankful to have Sarah and cannot imagine having had anyone else help us through our wedding day.

I lived in Virginia for the entire wedding planning process, so it helped me a lot to rely on Deb to suggest the best vendors Nashville has to offer. The vendors she suggested were absolutely fantastic, and I'm not sure I would have found them without her help. She also gave good guidance on any other things I had questions about, which made the planning process much less overwhelming.
She and her associates were absolutely fantastic on the wedding day! They made the entire day run smoothly, including going above and beyond to make sure my groom and I didn't see each other before the ceremony (per our request). They were on top of everything, so I could completely relax and enjoy my wedding and reception.
I definitely recommend working with Deb!

Sarah was a God-send. My friends, family, and wedding party got to sit back and enjoy the entire weekend without having to worry about a thing. My vision was recreated perfectly (and on budget!). Every detail was attended to - things I would never have even thought about on my own. Sarah and her team were well worth every penny. -

My daughter and I really enjoyed working with Music City Events for her wedding. Sarah Willard and her team provide outstanding service, advice, and organization. I gave less stars to the responsiveness section only because I really prefer to talk to people for immediate feedback and I realize in the business world today it does not always work that way. Our venue was at the Noah Liff Opera Center, which was lovely and they were very accommodating to our overflow of guests. I really liked that Sarah had a list of vendors that she works well with and I had the opportunity to choose which one best fit our needs. The young women that work for Music City Events are to be commended for their professionalism and personable people skills. -

There were many last minute changes with my event. Sarah was very accommodating to my changes and empathetic to my needs. She was able to assist me and put my mind at ease that all would be taken care of. I would definitely recommend Sarah to anyone planning an event. -

Sarah Willard is knowledgeable, super well connected in the wedding industry, has fabulous taste, and in general, just really knows weddings. She will talk you down off your wedding planning ledge; she will go to bat for you with vendors; she will even help navigate the inevitable mother-daughter disagreements. She is stellar all the way around, and in every interaction, you will feel well taken care of. I was a bride who wanted a lot of communication and feedback (aka needy), but when I told Sarah I needed her or was freaking out, she always came through, and I would feel better immediately. By the end of our planning process, I felt like she was a friend, too. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, all of the details came out the way I wanted, and our guests and we had an absolute blast. My parents and I didn't have to worry about a thing that day. It wouldn't have happened without Sarah's hands guiding the process all along the way.
I also had the good fortune of working with Deb and Jen quite closely at the end. These two ladies were the epitome of poise in coordinating last minute details with vendors and managing the rehearsal process with the liaison at the church. They even handled a little mix up with our cake with such grace and professionalism that I never would have known there was a problem had they not told me. They also made sure I had everything I needed at the reception, and even anticipated my needs before I knew them! Just wonderful.
In short, the Music City Events team is wonderful: great women to work with that you also want to know in real life. Thank you, Sarah, Deb, and Jen! You are the best. -

Sarah was very professional and enjoyable to work with on our wedding. I found her to be always prompt and helpful. She is not only on the ball and creative, she has a lovely manner and made us feel at ease and in good hands! Sarah did our wedding a year ago & as we reflect we’re baffled as to why the quality of service we received lacked compared to others. Things started off great & Sarah was wonderful but towards the end of the planning we felt a definite change. To be fair, here are some of the facts that led to her rating: *Right b4 the wedding Sarah sent us our final catering bill & budget sheet. It was approx $1k over budget. She didn’t mention the change in $, but updated the budget spreadsheet w/ the new amount owed, so we know she saw the difference. We questioned it as an error but the extra $1k was correct. Sarah had not factored in gratuity charges. *During the reception, Sarah & her assistants(2) drank our alcohol & proceeded to get tipsy&spent time in our photo booth. I don’t think this is proper business etiquette & several of our guests have made similar remarks *We did not follow the reception schedule. We hired Sarah to help keep everything on track but we ended up not doing any toasts. We also had to request to do the bouquet & garter toss *Generators. We asked Sarah many times if we needed a generator. She REPEATEDLY told us no. The day of the wedding she ended up renting 2 generators & at the end of the night we had to pack them into our truck & return them the next day-FATHER’S DAY! *We requested specific chandeliers. When we arrived at the reception the incorrect chandeliers were hung & when we addressed this w/ Sarah she just shrugged *We ended up not having knives at our wedding (they were ordered). This wouldn’t be an issue, but we served ROAST BEEF! My dad even asked Sarah about knives & she could not offer him an explanation *The bouquets were incorrect. When we met w/ the florist we made it clear that the bouquets should be full & not just 5-6 roses tied together. I told Sarah & the florist that they could supplement roses w/ leafy greens or other cheaper flowers so that we got a full arrangement. Final result was small bouquets of 5-6 roses. -

I was disappointed with the services I received by Sarah. We hired her for our reception only and maybe if you have her for the entire process the service is better. She was really hard to find during our reception, when usually a planner is always within eye contact. When me or my mom would find her she would get right on top of what we wanted, which was good. The point is you shouldn't have "to look" for your planner. One time, mom found her and her assistant eating in a room away from the reception! I would recommend looking at other planners for reception only. -
