Taylor and Sarah did such an amazing job planning and executing our wedding. We had some pretty unique requests (LGBTQ owned or ally vendors, sober/recovery friendly options with a full bar still available, non-religious only) and they were able to recommend the perfect vendor for our every need. They were organized, efficient, communicative and kept our stress levels to an absolute minimum. The wedding went off without a single hiccup and the day was absolutely stunning. They're the best in the biz and worth every penny and then some for sure! -

WOW! I can't say enough about the team at Mountainside Events! They are top notch - particularly Sarah - who coordinated our wedding day and made sure everything went exactly how we wanted it - it was perfect! Sarah went above and beyond for us - doing things I don't even think were part of her role, but just needed to get done. Planning a wedding in the unpredictable Colorado Rocky Mountains over a holiday weekend is no small task—but thanks to Sarah at Mountainside Events, our July 5th wedding was everything we dreamed of and more.
With two stunning but logistically different venues—Saint Malo's Chapel on the Rock in Allenspark for the ceremony, followed by a brunch reception at Nest Above in Estes Park—Sarah managed every detail with professionalism, poise, and genuine heart.
She has a graceful, behind-the-scenes way of keeping everything moving seamlessly. From coordinating with our harpist at the chapel to timing the jazz trio at brunch, she made sure each transition felt natural. She also kept all our vendors on track and the day running smoothly across both locations. Thanks to her calm and steady presence, everything felt completely stress-free—we were able to be fully present and truly savor every moment.
But it wasn’t just the logistics. It was all the thoughtful touches that made the day feel so personal and filled with meaning. Sarah set up the kids' activity table to be both fun and beautifully done, keeping our 16 little guests happily entertained. She also created a loving tribute space to honor our late loved ones, arranging photos in a way that was simple, respectful, and full of care.
One of our favorite gestures: Sarah reused floral arrangements from the chapel, thoughtfully placing them around the brunch venue to add warmth and beauty in unexpected places. She also scattered photos of us as a couple throughout the space, inviting guests to connect with our story as they celebrated alongside us.
If you're planning a mountain wedding in Colorado, Mountainside Events is an absolute gem. Sarah brought so much calm, heart, and intention to our wedding day. It was joyful, meaningful, and completely effortless—and we are forever grateful. -

Mountainside Events is so much more than an event planning company, they are incredible human beings and dedicated to the art of running an event! 10/10 hands down.
We are actually from DFW Texas and wanted a very small destination wedding in Colorado! We got engaged in December 2023 and began planning in January 2024 for a December 2024 wedding at The Boulders at Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park-- we reached out because of great reviews and because the business was women and LGBT owned! We got a prompt response from Taylor and soon after we began hashing things out, we were introduced to Sarah. When I say I literally COULD NOT recommend a better and more kind, equipped, and nimble coordinator!!! Sarah is so fantastic, incredibly organized, and her positive "don't sweat it" energy makes the entire planning process feel like a breeze. The wedding was super easy to plan with her help, which was worth its weight in gold when both my spouse and I work full-time! We were able to make 'fun' decisions more often than logistical ones :)
We did opt for their largest planning package, but I would spend that over and over again for the level of effort and care that went into our wedding. Every vendor she recommended to us and helped us hire was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! I have no doubt that their month of coordination and elopement packages and all other offerings have the same level of care dedicated to your event, and their relationships with other local event services really helped us get the best and brightest vendor team.
On a more personal level, two days before our wedding there was a huge and heartbreaking falling out with our families, to the point where we were worried the day might be ruined and irreparable. Sarah picked up the phone immediately, patiently sat on the phone with me as I cried, told me to not worry about logistics, that was the easy part, but to call her if I needed to talk or if either my spouse or I needed anything at all. She also personally drove my in-laws to our rehearsal dinner in her car when they got iced out of their AirBNB the next day, and worked her magic with the venue staff to organize a shuttle to pick them up after as well for an incredible price. She made edits to the timeline on the fly so seamlessly, it's like they were written into the plan from the start.
The day of was FLAWLESS. If there was any sort of issue, we did not hear about it! I was a little nervous getting ready on my own that morning but as soon as Sarah and Taylor showed up literally all of that melted away. Everything came together beautifully and was set up exactly as we envisioned. Sarah even helped pack up our belongings, food and cake, and grabbed our room key to go put it in our suite fridge so we didn't have to. I am certain she did so much more behind the scenes that we didn't even know about since we were so busy having fun dancing. Both of them were so, so sweet. I honestly had no expectations one way or another, but it truly was the best day of my life, and my spouse Elliott agrees. :)
I, the wife lol, am incredibly Type-A and have a hard time relinquishing control in my daily life. The way Sarah did everything the way I would have, or BETTER, made this feel like such a dream. We were truly guests of honor at our own wedding and basically all we had to do at the end of the night was sober up and grab our junk from the getting ready rooms, haha.
I know this is so long winded already, but if you're on the fence about it, PICK MOUNTAINSIDE EVENTS!!!!! You will not be disappointed, it's some of the best money we've ever spent. Sarah, we mean this from the bottom of our hearts, we'll never forget this and you mean so much to us. We hope you and Taylor stay in touch!!! -

Can not say enough positive things! We chose to do day of coordination and was so happy with Taylor Strope. She communicated with me leading up to my wedding day, was always available, and thought of every last detail so I didn't have to. I had zero stress on my wedding day because she has taken care of EVERYTHING. So happy we found her and had her for our wedding day. Extremely professional, experienced, and great to work with. -

My bride and I were married on 9/7/2024 at Rist Canyon Inn in Laporte, Colorado. We hired Taylor and the Mountainside Events team for their full-service wedding planning package.
Taylor and her team helped us identify vendors for our wedding and plan those little details. We are both full-time researchers in academia and have little free time on our hands due to where we both are in our careers. Taylor and her planning team were integral in minimizing pre-wedding planning stress by helping to handle all the details and making our decisions much easier. However, the benefits of hiring Taylor and the mountainside events team don't end with minimizing wedding planning stress.
Taylor and her team were absolutely AMAZING day of the wedding. The whole day was a complete whirlwind, but we didn't have to stress about anything thanks to their team. Every little detail was taken care of. While I am sure there were issues that popped up, we really didn't have to deal with any. Taylor only came to us with questions on our preference when she wanted to make sure x,y, or z happened the way we wanted. Otherwise, we were able to just be present on our big day.
We can't recommend Taylor and the Mountainside Events team enough. Just hire them already and actually enjoy your wedding.

July 2024 Dream Wedding w/ MSE
The Mountainside Events team was so helpful in planning our July 2024 wedding. We first connected with Taylor in October 2023, and she actually had the idea for our venue, The Mishawaka. We absolutely fell in love with the idea of our wedding there, and Taylor took time to get to know us and our vision for the wedding really well, in order to bring that vision to life. About 2 months prior to the wedding, we connected with Sarah, our wedding coordinator. She has amazing energy and was so excited to help us every step of the way. From doing a final walk-through at the venue, to providing inventory from MSE for items we could rent for the wedding, to just trouble shooting any issues we came across along the way, Sarah was consistently very positive, accessible and responsive, and really pulled everything together. We absolutely loved everything about our wedding day, and couldn’t have done it without her, our assigned coordinator Randi and the rest of the MSE team! -

We had the most INCREDIBLE experience with Taylor and Sarah. From day 1, Mountain was kind, patient and genuinely interested in the vision my husband and I had for our special day. We worked with them for almost 2 years and they kept in close contact in the months leading up to the event. Once Sarah was assigned as our day-of coordinator, she really hit the ground running to dig into all the details of how we envisioned our special day. I'll admit, we had a big vision for decor and vibes of the day. We requested so many details and definitely had opinions on all the small stuff. and Sarah not only truly saw that vision but acted as an extension of my brain to execute on it perfectly and with excitement. She was a planner, mediator, negotiator, therapist, and support system all in one. She even went to bat for us, without us asking, when a vendor stepped out of line a few days before the event. I first met Taylor while I was working for her other company, NOCO Staffing, in 2022. I saw how she and her team worked behind the scenes and was immediately impressed. I knew I wanted to hire them for our wedding the following year. She had excellent communication during the planning process, continually checked in with us, and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. Even during the unexpected rain, Taylor and Maddie made everything feel seamless for us. They pulled out umbrellas for our guests during the ceremony, moved our reception indoors, and made sure we were all having a wonderful time. My husband and I were beyond happy with how everything turned out and would relive that day all over again if we could. Thank you SO much for making our day so special. We hired a month of coordinator through Mountainside Events for our July 2023 wedding. We were assigned Maddie and her assistant and couldn't be more thrilled with the service we received, Maddie was attentive, a great communicator, and a very easy person to get along with. During the planning process Maddie was quick to respond to any questions I had along with keeping the other vendors in the loop. On the wedding day, Maddie and her assistant made sure everything ran smoothly and ensured everything was set up according to the vision my fiancé and I had for our big day. They definitely took so much stress off of our plates. Taylor and her team were very professional, attentive, mindful, encouraging, intentional and supportive in so many ways! They helped plan our schedule for the day, ran the rehearsal and day-of coordination, helped refer me to several vendors, took over communication with our vendors, helped decorate and set up on the day of, as well as clean up and our wedding oversight. We had some unexpected weather-related troubles with our outdoor bathroom and tent, and they took care of it very quickly so there was barely any worry before our ceremony started. There aren't enough positive adjectives in the dictionary for me to properly describe my experience with Taylor and the Mountainside team. We found her through our venue (she was once the events coordinator there and we knew we wanted someone familiar with that particular space), then worked together for over a year leading up to and including our wedding day. For a Type-A personality like me, she's the perfect combination of super organized and comfortingly calm and easygoing, and her connections around northern Colorado can't be beat. We love—and I mean, LOVE—every single one of the vendors she set us up with, on a personal as well as professional level, and they made a dream team on the big day. Taylor helped us bring all of our ambitious ideas to life, and over countless planning emails (like I said, Type A) she was always patient, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented. Her day-of coordination was awesome, too. Any wedding is going to have some hurdles/hiccups: despite being a beautiful day, we did have some heat and high winds to contend with, on top of being at a cell-reception-less venue where all coordination requires a little extra care. Taylor and Maddie handled everything like the pros they are, putting our minds at ease so we could focus on enjoying ourselves. Ultimately, my partner and I were able to have the very intentional, very "us" wedding we so wanted, and we received lots of compliments from guests about how much fun they had—another thing that was obviously super important to us. Taylor and team had everything to do with that. -

Taylor (and her entire team) are absolutely incredible and I definitely recommend hiring her to help with your special day! We hired her for the day off coordinator services at our wedding last June at the Mishawaka. Not only is she extremely organized and stays on top of every detail, but Taylor has a great demeanor and is so relaxed. Planning a wedding, especially if you are taking on a lot on your own, can be so stressful and Taylor went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. She was flexible, gave us great recommendations and suggestions and was able to keep me calm in midst of all the craziness!
We planned our wedding in just 6 months during the midst of the pandemic. We were so thankful to have Taylor, as she was in constant communication with our vendors, and kept me in the loop on ever-changing covid restrictions. She always keeps it professional, but is also a genuinely great human being that cares so much about the clients she works with.
Our day was flawless thanks to Taylor and her team! Would 10/10 recommend her for any wedding planning services, she's an absolute gem! -

We shopped around looking at wedding coordinators for our wedding. We planned our wedding in 7 months, and I honestly would say the reason the day of was a perfect day was due to Taylor and her team.
They took over all communication with our vendors 2 months leading up to it. We had a couple of meetings with them to make sure we were all on the same page. The day of, we had a venue that needed to flip the space from the ceremony to reception and Mountainside events did everything! They also packed up everything so our friends and family did not have to worry about anything and could enjoy the night.
Our venue and other vendors also commented to us how great Taylor was to work with and how they had everything they needed leading up to the wedding and during the wedding. I would recommend using Taylor and Mountainside events without hesitation. Even my family who couldn't make it stalked Mountainside events Instagram and loved the posts they did throughout the night! -

It wasn't until about 3 or 4 weeks prior to our wedding day that we realized the person we had thought would be our day-of-coordinator was just not going to work out for us. And it was really important to us to make sure we (and our immediate families) could focus on enjoying the day by having someone to help us, so we were really worried.
When we contacted Mountainside Events, they responded immediately and jumped right into helping us get all the last minute details sorted. Sarah Hoffenberg was assigned our coordinator, and she wasted no time in touching base with our vendors and making sure everyone was all on the same page ahead of time.
The entire day went so well, everything was perfect and as we had hoped it would be and the best thing was that we really, truthfully didn't have to worry about any of the details besides just enjoying the moments of our special day and celebrating with family and friends. We can't thank Sarah and Mountainside Events enough for helping us in such short time, and for helping make our day so absolutely great and stress free!!!!! -

Taylor was very professional. She helped with the vendor for the tents and other rentals and everything was just as we requested. She also organized all the vendors timelines and was a point of contact for them. In addition, she was extremely helpful on the day of, starting with picking up our cupcakes and decorating tables. She kept guests aware of what was happening with the ceremony, cocktail hour and lawn games, buffet dinner, and dancing. We were able focus on guests and enjoy ourselves. She made sure everyone was aware of safety precautions for preventing Covid. I would definitely recommend her. -

The BEST wedding coordinator!!
Planning a wedding during a pandemic was quite stressful, however, Taylor Strope helped ease my concerns when our original wedding coordinator had to cancel on us 2 months out. Taylor was always so responsive, kept me up to date on Covid protocols in Estes Park, and jumped right in on such short notice! She made time to meet us in person before our big day to plan out the day and really get to know us and the vision we had. On the day of, she did an awesome job setting up our decor, checking in on us while we got ready, and was always letting us know where to be and when throughout the day. 10/10 would recommend! Taylor was an amazing day-of-coordinator. I wasn’t sure what to expect and was blown away with Taylor’s services and execution leading up-to, day-of and after our wedding day. We met with Taylor twice in-person before the day-of and had plenty of email and phone conversations. She really focused on the details and honed in to what was important to us. She was very organized and kept track and in contact with all of our vendors. Due to all the prep work before our wedding day, we quickly met when she arrived onsite and handled everything through the set-up of the reception venue, helped with the ceremony and throughout the reception. She even followed up after our wedding day with our vendors with the tips (we didn’t have them quite ready before some of our vendors came, set-up and left).
I’d highly recommend Taylor and her services. She went beyond what we could have asked for and more. If an engaged couple asked for a piece of advice, I’d recommend a day-of-coordinator - it’ll make your day even more flawless!
