I highly recommend working with Mockingbird Lane to plan your big day!!! We met with them over a year before our wedding, and they were so attentive to everything we wanted on our wedding day. They made personal recommendations for vendors and were very responsive when I had questions. Closer to wedding day, they created a detailed timeline and communicated with the vendors, taking that stressful piece off of my plate, which was incredible. Absolutely fabulous!
Mockingbird Lane & Lanell met all our needs. Lanell assisted with all our coordination, caterers, vendors and kept our planning on track. As the Mother of the Groom I was able to see how she kept my son & daughter in law calm and kept the planning moving forward with minimal stress. I could not have envisioned the amount of small details that can be overlooked. Lanell & Gracie kept their wedding moving smoothly, coordinating the entire way until we were done at the end of the night. They never sat still, always moving and going to whatever was needed next. After reviewing every coordinator I came across, I am so glad we went with Mockingbird Lane. I could not recommend them enough. -

We loved working with Mockingbird Lane Events as our wedding coordinator! We worked with Alyson initially, who was very responsive to emails and helped with all areas of wedding planning from the very beginning. Lanell later took over as our main coordinator and she was great! The bride/groom checklist, vendor list, and other resources alone were worth the cost. After the planning was done, our wedding day went smoothly thanks to the Mockingbird Lane team. Our family and wedding party all commented on how easy the clean-out process was as well, as Mockingbird Lane took care of almost everything. Alyson at Mockingbird Lane Events was absolutely amazing—an absolute lifesaver for our wedding! We were only 3.5 months out from our big day when we started working together, and from the moment she stepped in, everything just fell into place. She’s so detail-oriented, providing us with a super thorough checklist and a vendor management portal that made the whole planning process easy and stress-free. I was juggling a night shift schedule, so I couldn’t always respond right away, but Alyson was incredibly understanding and flexible. She always worked around my availability and made sure we stayed on track, no matter what. One of my favorite things about working with Alyson was just how friendly and welcoming she was. From the start, it felt like I’d known her for ages, and I truly wish we had started working together sooner—I wanted more time with her because she really did feel like a long-time friend! We decided to get married in Texas, despite living in California. The challenge of doing a destination wedding only became clear once our (remote) planning began. Luckily, we found Alyson, and she helped guide us, reassuring us that we were on the right track. The month leading up to the event, and especially on the day of the wedding, Alyson and her team were truly fantastic. They knew exactly the "when, what, and how" of the entire event. What can I NOT rave enough about Alyson and her team? I have had the pleasure of knowing them on a personal and professional level being in the wedding industry myself, so when it came to planning our own wedding reception, both myself and my husband knew she was the best fit for us ... it was a no-brainer.
Alyson is the sweetest, most personable person we know ... how could you, your family, and guests not love her bubbly and outgoing personality? But aside from that, she's been in the industry long enough that she knows her stuff. She's a true professional, and can guide you through the most stressful situations. She brings to light things you may not have thought of (like items in a contract that are in fine print or not included) and has back up plans as you need (like in case of rain).
Before and on the day-of, they're great with honest communication, SO quick with set-up and breakdown, perfectly managed our timeline, kept vendors on track, created our wedding vision to the T, and just made everything go so perfectly smooth. It was the most fun and beautiful day!
Trust me, you NEED Mockingbird Lane!! They're lifesavers and your personal cheerleaders, and the best investment you can make. Thank you, Alyson and Kelby! We appreciate you and your hard work, and we couldn't have had the best celebration without you!!!! -

We had the easiest, best, and most relaxed experience with Mockingbird Lane! Kelby was amazing to work with - she was quick to answer questions throughout the entire process and had answers with solutions to everything that came up! When we were asked in our intro meeting how we wanted to experience our wedding day, we both wanted a day where we could just focus on each other and not worry about any details. Kelby made this happen for us even with unexpected rain in the middle of July. Kelby was calm, organized, and kind, and we are so lucky to have had her running the show on our wedding day. Lanell was amazing!! Throughout the wedding planning process, she was such a helpful resource. Deciding vendors was made super easy because she provided all of the best recommendations. And then that last month pre-wedding she really stepped in and handled all the communication with vendors and organized so many things. It was amazing on my wedding not to have to stress about or manage anything and everything got done just the way I wanted it to. One of my bridesmaid's zipper on her dress broke, but not a problem for Lanell! She whipped out needle and thread and sewed the dress so that you couldn't even tell there was an issue! I would 100% recommend hiring Mockingbird Lane - they are the sweetest and so so helpful!! -

WOW! Just WOW! Where do I even begin to express our gratitude for the incredible experience we had with Alyson and the Mockingbird Lane team? From the moment I reached out Alyson was really responsive and when we jumped on a call we clicked instantly.
The whole team was so professional, organized, and provided unwavering support throughout the planning process. Alyson was there with us every step of the way, offering guidance, reassurance, and creative ideas to bring our vision to life. No request was too big, too small, or too weird.
On the week of the wedding we had multiple hiccups (super windy, extra uninvited guests, elderly grandparents, etc.) and Alyson handled it flawlessly! I had such an amazing experience and I want to plan another event just to work with them again.

We were lucky enough to have the owner of mockingbird (Alyson) as our wedding coordinator. To describe her work in one word, it would have to be Thorough! Alyson’s attention to detail is without a doubt what makes the weddings she does, flow smoothly and the way we wanted it to. The wedding checklist was a HUGE help in staying organized and having everything ready to go come wedding time. She was very sweet, detailed, committed, and communicative! We were so happy that we decided to go with Mockingbird Lane as our wedding coordinator. Lanell was there for me through the WHOLE process, helping me with technical things and logistics that only people who are familiar with the business can navigate. She was also able to calm me down in those bride-zilla moments haha
I really saw Lanell’s value in action during rehearsal and on our actual wedding day. She handled our families flawlessly during rehearsal! During the day, I honestly did not have one complaint or freak-out about anything, I was able to fully enjoy getting ready with my girls because Lanell was taking care of the rest. She helped out with my crazy bustle after the ceremony, and even helped block sun out of my grandma’s eyes while she was trying to eat dinner.
If you want your wedding day to go seamlessly without having to worry about literally one logistic on the day, I highly recommend Lanell and the Mockingbird Lane team! -

I cannot say enough good things about Emmaline and her team! She is the sweetest most kind-hearted soul you'll ever meet. But she'll also go to bat for you if you need it! My caterer added an extra charge to my invoice, and she handled it quickly and expertly without prompting. We had a long walk-through at the venue where she went detail-by-detail through my day and made me feel so relaxed knowing everything was handled. She worked so hard for us day-of and did an awesome job wrangling my rather large bridal party. She also had everything we needed on-hand like a pair of scissors or a pen (you wouldn't think you need these things but then you're grateful when it just appears). I also had so many last-minute changes and she kept track of them all. Showing up to the venue on our day everything looked beautiful and just as I had requested. Long story short, you cannot go wrong working with her. I would absolutely recommend her to friends and family looking to enjoy the day and not stress the details. She'll make you feel like you're her only client and so special. Thank you for all you did for us Emmaline! -

Mockingbird Lane Events made the day of my wedding enjoyable as they handled all of the questions, coordination, and any fires that came up the day of. It is absolutely worth hiring a wedding coordinator for the day of your wedding. Alyssa and Brook provided great vendor recommendations. Brook did a wonderful job being the spokesperson for all the vendors and ensuring they knew what the plan was, where to be and when. She was also honest about some ideas and despite my insistence that we might need outdoor lights, she stuck with her recommendation that it would be unnecessary and SHE WAS RIGHT. Ultimately saved me some money. The lack of chapped lips in the wedding photos can be directly attributed to Brook bringing me drinks since I was kept busy and apparently forgot to hydrate. Excellent and reliable communication is necessary for coordination, which was exactly what was provided by the team at Mockingbird Lane Events. I would recommend them and hire them again for any future events. -

Wow - I don't even know where to start. MBL made my day amazing and I truly couldn't have gotten by without them! First, Allison and I met for coffee and spent time walking through everything that was already planned and what we wanted our day to look like. Two months out, Brook was assigned as my official 'Day Of' Coordinator. From there, Brook took over communication with vendors, was so helpful in timeline planning and meeting with our venue. She even helped me order a wedding cake TWO WEEKS before our wedding and people haven't stopped talking about it...(shout out Sugar Mama Cookies in Marble Falls, TX). When it came to the our weekend, Brooke took total controlled and flawlessly pulled it all off. Micaela, her 2nd, was so so sweet and massively helped contribute to the flawlessness. I love that I always knew Micaela and Brook were around (AKA rocking the show!) but felt like they did a wonderful job of blending into the background. What a duo Brooke and Micaela were! I've never wanted to recommend a vendor this highly to anyone. Thank you MBL for everything! -

We hired Alyson to plan our wedding celebration that had been postponed for almost two years because of COVID. To say she was great would be an understatement. She was on top of everything, super organized and efficient (which I loved), and helped put together our dream wedding. From suggesting and helping us pick the best venue, to all the vendors, layout, timelines, she did it all to perfection.
We appreciate her working so well with our vision, which wasn’t the traditional wedding, and handling all the coordination and details.

Brook Nunez at Mockingbird Lane Events was the absolute BEST! From our initial meeting to the week after the wedding, Brook gave us so much thoughtful and professional care. Our wedding day was December 11, 2021, and everything came together because of Brook's amazing event coordination skills. We didn't have to stress about communication with the vendors because Brook was on top of it. She sent check-ins, asked pertinent questions, and thought of every last detail that we would have missed without her help. Don't hesitate, just hire her for your wedding! Believe me, you will not be disappointed. The day of our wedding, Brook gave us total peace of mind so we didn't have to worry about any last minute details. She and her assistant actually put up all the decorations with the garland and flowers we bought from Costco and fairy lights and vases borrowed from a friend. I was stunned at how gorgeous it all looked and am so thankful for their expertise! I cannot recommend Mockingbird Lane enough for your wedding coordination needs! Emmaline was an absolute angel and she helped me out so much for my wedding. I was set that I didn't need a coordinator but my wedding venue kind of required at least a day of coordinator so I looked into Mockingbird and I was sold! They offer several different packages to fit exactly what you need for your big day and they go above and beyond, seriously! Emmaline answered all my questions, no matter how ridiculous they were, she helped me communicate with vendors and she was there to help the rehearsal and wedding go absolutely seamlessly. She was right there any time I needed her and she kept everyone on schedule and kept things moving. I would have been a hot mess without her and Mockingbird Lane. Winn, her day of assistant was amazing as well. Their team is so kind and professional and they helped make our day absolutely perfect. I can't recommend their services enough. Even if you don't think you need them, I promise it's the best money you will ever spend on the wedding. They are worth every penny and more!! -

Alyson and her team at Mockingbird Lane were absolutely wonderful. We used there day of coordination service, which was so much more than that. From getting my rehearsal together to answering logistics questions from vendors, Alyson took care of it all. I was a complicated bride who insisited on DIY-ing all of the wedding decorations. Alyson and her team set up everything up perfectly and filled in styling things that I had not even thought of. She worked with us so that attention was paid to every detail. I was overwhelmed with the thought of putting all this together for the big day, but Alyson and the women working with her handled everything and my husband and I were just able to enjoy the day, stress free! It was really incredible having Mockingbird Lane handle our wedding. I don't even know how to put into words how amazing Mockingbird Lane Events, and our wedding coordinator Alyson was!! We found Alyson about 2 months before our wedding, and just knew after our first meeting we had to hire her!! She was super friendly, and professional and knew she would be a good match. But I'm still blown away by how good she actually is!! We hired her for our month of coordination, but she started helping that very next day even though we were still two months out! She was very responsive to all emails, and caught many things ahead of time that would have been a conflict if not known to the day of. Even on the night of our rehearsal she noted a fire ant problem on the ceremony site, and somehow even made sure that was taken care of even though the wedding was literally the next day! I received so many compliments from my family and guests about how helpful and on top of things Alyson was on the day of our wedding. She truly made our wedding day a complete success with no issues at all! It was the best day of our lives, and we could never thank Alyson enough for making it perfect!!! Hire Her!!! -

Brook's professionalism, experience, organization, and creativity made my daughter's wedding a wedding only dreams are made of. She kept everything running smoothly and kept our family on schedule (imagine herding cats). You'll definitely understand the importance of this on your wedding day. She is also an excellent communicator and kept all vendors on point. She designed/organized venue set up and my daughter was brought to tears by her beautiful vision and execution. Alyson and her team were the absolute lifeline of my wedding! Without Mockingbird Lane, the event would not have come together! I choose the day-of coordinator package, but let me assure you Alyson was very helpful leading up to the event. She went above and beyond reminding me when to be on top of things, provided excellent vendor recommendations that not only fit my budget, but also were a perfect fit for my husband and my personalities. Her checklist kept me focused and helped me break up the wedding planning process so it was less overwhelming. Her weekend timeline was very well organized and kept all the vendors and wedding party on the same page. We met with and hired Alyson Desha (Owner of Mockingbird Lane Events) in October of 2019, even though our wedding wasn’t until March 2021. She was with us every step of the way, and quickly answered questions throughout the entire time period between hiring and our wedding date. She was always available and made it seem like we were her only clients (even though we know that wasn’t true!) She took over everything starting the week or more before the wedding; and let me tell you, having someone go and do all those final checks, ensuring contracts are fulfilled, and creating a timeline so you don’t have to…AMAZING! We would have paid double for all the services Alyson provided and it still would have felt like a deal! On our wedding day, we literally just had to show up, at the time she outlined on the timeline, and she did EVERYTHING else based on our specifications. She knew exactly what we wanted and followed through impeccably. With Alyson and her assistant, every member of our bridal party got to enjoy the day as guests (as they should!) Mockingbird Lane Event staff brought us food and drinks during our private time as a couple 20 minutes after we got married, so we could enjoy the moment together while our guests were having cocktail hour. They ensured that we were served our dinners first and we didn’t have to go anywhere. She bustled the bridal gown, and did anything and everything you could imagine you would want done. She took our car keys so that they would pack up our get-away car with all our gifts, food, and bags that we had brought with us to our venue to ensure we didn’t lose anything! We highly suggest Mockingbird Lane Events! Alyson, and her staff are truly amazing and you can tell how much they love what they do. We both have a deep appreciation for what she did for us, and easily recommend her for your event as well. -

Alyson and her team are absolute game changers for any wedding. From planning to execution, Alyson is everything you could want in a planner or day-of-event coordinator and truly goes above and beyond to make sure your day is as special as it can be. We didn't have to worry about a single thing on our day, and to be honest her team handled things before we ever thought to handle it ourselves (if we thought of it at all). The quality of service she provides is second to none, but most importantly Alyson takes time to figure out what your priorities are for your wedding and makes it her priority to execute on those items. For our wedding, we felt strongly about our mothers not feeling obligated to help "host" the wedding so that they could enjoy the party as well, and so Alyson made sure her team handled anything and everything before our mothers even had a chance to realize it needed to be done.
Regardless of the size or scope of your wedding, I cannot emphasize enough that it should include Mockingbird Lane. They make your day their priority so that you can enjoy your wedding rather than oversee it. -

We started with a different coordinator who ended up leaving the company and Alyson (owner) stepped in to make a stressful situation stress-free! When we picked our venue, we were told we were required to have a day-of coordinator. It could have been a family member or a pro. I immediately knew I wanted a pro. And let me tell you, it was one of the BEST choices we made for our day!
Taylor M. was our Lead Coordinator, and she is an absolute gem. Her and her team executed our vision to a T. I tend to be rather Type-A, and it was such a relief to hand the reins over the day-of, and just enjoy the experience. Taylor and her team took care of all of the day-of details beautifully. My now-husband and I were so relaxed, and enjoyed the entire day and night.
Do yourself a favor, and hire Mockingbird Lane! It will be one of the best decisions you'll make for your big day. -

Mockingbird Lane was a dream come true that we didn't even know we needed! Our coordinator was Kate and I could not rave about her enough! She matched my bride style of planning PERFECTLY and was always my biggest cheerleader and helper for the whole year of planning and the day of. Allyson with Mockingbird Lane did an incredible job preparing my fiance and I in the months leading up to our wedding day. She helped guide us throughout the entire process and even recommended some of our best vendors. Allyson seamlessly coordinated with 10+ vendors (food, dj, guitarist, bar, florist, multiple decor rental companies, etc) the morning of the wedding to ensure everything was setup on time and setup correctly. She really brought our Pinterest board to life and we could not have enjoyed our wedding day without her help!

We had some big communication problems throughout the process but Kate Mullaney knocked it out of the park when it came down to the day. Not every detail went as planned but she did her absolute best to keep things running smoothly. My biggest advice is to be absolutely clear about what you want well in advance because you will not have time to tell her about those things on the day. -

First thing my new husband said when we got back to our car was "We could not have done this without Alyson!" We booked the day-of coordination from Mockingbird Lane and it was well worth it. We were going back n forth on wether to have a wedding coordinator or not. It was a question on was the money worth it for the service? YES! It is. We even paid extra for Mockingbird Lane to be at our venue longer, so family wouldn't have to lift a finger. Alyson would check in monthly with emails on the progress of hiring other vendors and reminders. She reviewed vendor contracts and was very helpful on suggesting vendors. Day-of Alyson and her assistant Taylor handled everything, she periodically checked in to see if I needed anything, confirmed the end result of decor, and asked an uninvited guest to leave. It was a stressless day and it was beautiful thanks to Mockingbird Lane. If you are weighing the option of hiring a coordinator, trust me it is worth it!! Hire Mockingbird Lane my fellow brides you will not regret it! -

They are supportive, prepared, and dedicated to helping their clients make their wedding vision become a reality. This team goes above and beyond! I was impressed time and again by not only their ability to manage all of the vendors but also to anticipate the little hiccups that could add stress to our special day. The button on my tuxedo popped off about half an hour before the wedding. Corren's team pulled out their Mary Poppins bag and fixed it. Crisis averted. These ladies were 100% prepared for any possible pitfall. We could not more highly recommend Mockingbird Lane! Alyson was a great help as our day-of coordinator during our outdoor October wedding. She has such a wonderful energy - getting all things done in a delightful and under-control manner, being everywhere when needed, we could go on and on... We knew we wanted her on our team when we met her at a wedding expo and she helped us save a few bucks on our contract right before the deadline to be in the drawing. She was very organized and able to answer all of our many questions with straightforward advice so that we could have the day we envisioned. This was by far the best value service that we engaged for the wedding.
