    The best in the business!

    Candice and her team at Milk Events were absolutely incredible, their hard work and dedication to our wedding were second to none. They are experts in what they do, very responsive, and we could not have had our dream wedding without them. As a side note, if you are planning a wedding at Greystone Mansion, Candice is your go-to gal. Candice is truly the best in the business and helped the day run smoothly. We even had guests come up to us and comment on how well-organized everything was (we owe that to her). Tessa was also incredibly sweet and helpful on the day of the wedding. We also greatly appreciated the diversity of vendors they work with and their experience with cultural ceremonies. We held a Western ceremony and a Sri Lankan ceremony, and the Milk Events team did an excellent job facilitating both back-to-back. We would recommend Milk Events to anyone planning a wedding, they are the best.

    Wedding planning is hard, and it can be super stressful. But, for my now husband and I, it was pretty much a breeze, and it's all because of Candice. My partner and I had a couple of pretty specific things we wanted for our wedding and Candice helped us to find the perfect vendors and did some DIY to make them all happen! She constantly went above and beyond in helping us find vendors, adhere to our budget, and make our wedding dreams come true. Especially when it came to vendor meetings with the venue and florists, she helped to take the lead to make sure everyone knew exactly what we wanted. Especially on our wedding day, Candice and her team helped tremendously and made everything run so smoothly and on time! All of our vendors kept commenting on how good we were on time and how calm we seemed throughout the day. That calmness was truly because of how well Candice had planned the day. Even the day before our wedding, my husband realized he had lost his tie. We had no time to grab another one so we were prepared for him to just not wear a tie down the aisle. BUT, after I had mentioned it in passing to Candice, Candice went shopping that evening and found the PERFECT tie for my husband.

    I cannot even begin to describe how grateful I am to her and her team for everything they've done for us. They're truly the best!

    The best wedding planner and friend

    Candice and her team were so communicative and thorough with our wedding. She took so much off our plates during the wedding planning and helped source our vendors based off of our preferences.

    The day of our wedding went so smoothly! All of our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever attended. She kept the entire day on schedule. When we accidentally left stuff at the wedding, she picked it up and gave it to us afterwards. And it's all because of Candice.

    She also speaks Mandarin which was so helpful!

    Loved working with Tessa and Candice!

    We worked with Milk Events for our wedding receptions in February. For a variety of personal reasons, we held two completely separate and distinct wedding receptions - one Chinese and one Western. To summarize the below, we loved working with Candice and Tessa, and would highly recommend them.

    We found Milk Events as they were a recommended vendor at the Caltech Athenaeum, and we worked with them from the very beginning. We purchased the Skim Milk package including design for both receptions, and worked with Candice early on to develop a separate “vibe” for each reception. We had two calls, and I primarily sent inspiration via text and Instagram - she “got” my aesthetic completely and provided an incredibly helpful PDF “look and feel” document, as well as a list of rental that we would need for both events.

    Three months before our events, my fiancé and I began working with Tessa to plan details for both receptions. Tessa was extraordinarily helpful in helping us organize ourselves (and our vendors and extended family), and helped us understand what we needed and when. In addition, she was always super cheerful - which was incredibly helpful when we hit any roadblocks. It also helped that both Candice and Tessa had worked with most of our vendors, and it all seemed to come together seamlessly.

    Both receptions went wonderfully, and I recommend Milk Events enthusiastically.

    Best wedding planner in the LA and SF area & highly recommend!

    Milk Events truly went above and beyond for my wedding! I have the highest recommendations for Candice, who was the dream wedding planner. She answered every question with intense detail, helped find solution for the many family issues that come up regarding weddings, and was such an amazing sounding board for all operational questions.

    She designed my wedding invites from scratch with my vague vision and seamlessly managed the entire schedule of events from beginning to end. She has an amazing team who helped pull it off. I couldn't imagine doing this without Milk Events and recommend them to everyone I know!

    Weddings are a lot to handle and deal with, so make sure you choose the perfect planner who can do it all. Milk Events is the one!!

    Milk Events is Amazing! (A Groom's Perspective)

    I told my now wife (!!) that I was so impressed by Tessa, Candice, and the Milk Events team, that I wanted to write their review myself. So here I am!

    I had no idea what it took to plan a wedding. I hadn't really thought about it beyond the proposal haha. But it turned out that our wedding venue required a day-of-coordinator, so we started searching for wedding planners and coordinators in our area. Right off the bat, Candice was very friendly, responsive, and professional. She gave us the warm and fuzzy feeling that we'd have the elegant and laid-back coastal wedding we'd dreamt of.

    We also went with Milk Events because they're local so they know other great local vendors (Florals for the win!). Plus, they have significant experience with Asian couples. Their feedback (plan for X amount of time for the tea ceremony, the aunties will appreciate tea and hot water at the end of the night, etc) was invaluable. Clearly, they know their Aunties!

    In the months leading up to the wedding, we met up with Candice and Tessa (our lead planner and day-of-coordinator) once at the venue and twice at their office. There were so many small details in a wedding that they anticipated, and they prepared a schedule for us detailed down to the minute - it was a masterclass in planning and coordination.

    By the time the Big Day arrived, Tessa was in full gear. The night before our wedding, she herded all the cats, oh I mean our wedding party and family, for a smooth rehearsal. On the wedding day itself, she flawlessly directed a team of her own assistant coordinators and our many vendors including live musician, photographer, videographer, florals, desserts, photobooth, lounge area, our personal decor, that big board thing where we put everyone's favors, you name it! Sorry I forget what a lot of things are called but that's what you get when the groom writes the review =)

    There's so much to take in on your wedding day. It's both the best day of your life and a complete blur. But I will definitely remember how amazing it was to see professionals like Tessa and Candice in their element, executing the our special day down to a tee. Milk Events was spectacular. Thank you again for everything!

    Can't Recommend Milk Events Enough!

    Candice and her team are the best!!! My husband and I went with their Skim Milk package which is day and month of coordination, however even with this option, what Milk does is so much more than just coordination. Candice was there every step of the way with advice on small questions to referring vendors, and everything in between. She is organized and great with communication. She doesn't miss a beat and she knows the wedding industry inside and out. We were lucky enough to have Candice as our main coordinator on the day of our wedding, and seeing her in action was incredibly. She knew our venue well, plus her no-nonsense practical attitude paired with gentle encouragement helped keep us on schedule and we got to do all the things we wanted (including eat!). Candice and her assistants were so sweet and even captured some behind the scenes photos that we could see straight away. On top of it all, their pricing is very reasonable for all the work they do behind the scenes before and during the wedding. We can't recommend Milk Events enough!

    Loved Milk Events and Can't Recommend Them Enough!!

    We booked Milk Events for our wedding coordination in 2019 for our originally anticipated wedding in June of 2020. From the very beginning, we were paired with Kristy, who was absolutely amazing--very responsive and helpful with any questions I had throughout the planning process. However, we had to postpone twice due to COVID so we were appointed a new coordinator, Lindsey, to handle the remainder of our month-of coordination. She was also superb--helping with vendor outreach on the month of and everything leading up to the day-of. On the day of the wedding, there were unexpected moments like the rain, but the team monitored the weather and helped us make decisions to ensure that everything worked out perfectly.

    Lindsey was awesome and stayed calm when we had to come up with backup plans. I was so thankful for my all-star team that executed my dream wedding so flawlessly! Candice, the owner, stopped by and helped, even though she was not scheduled to be there that day! 💗 She was there for the first look and even went to our venue to help coordinate when it started to rain--she was so sincere and jumped in to help whenever I needed it on that day. I was so appreciative of that! Candice, Lindsey, and their assistant coordinators really killed it on the day of the wedding and made my husband and I feel at ease with all of the unexpected hiccups that came up along the way.

    Some other major perks with booking through Milk Events: our package included rental decor items that we could choose from and they helped us set up on the day of the wedding, so we didn't have to worry about buying things like votives, LED candles, cake stand, welcoming table decor, etc. Also, they also have their own stationary company, Milk & Paper Co., from which I was able to custom-design my invitations! I worked with Candice throughout the process and she was able to execute my vision perfectly!

    Hiring Milk Events was one of the best decisions we made towards our wedding and I would recommend the team to everyone!

    **HIGHLY RECOMMEND** Milk Events for your wedding

    **HIGHLY RECOMMEND** Just got married on 8/15/21 and can't say enough wonderful things about how amazingly smooth it all went because of Candice and Milk Events! My wife and I went with the (day of) package and were completely blown away with the service we received. Candice is highly responsive, usually responding within 24 hours at the latest. She's definitely an experienced coordinator and was always able to help answer any questions we had leading up to the event. Obviously because my wife and I were newbies in planning a wedding, she was also a great source for guidance on a lot of our decisions.

    The day of the actual wedding, Candice and her team were so professional and helpful. Making sure everything looked amazing and operated per the crafted timeline.

    My wife had no issues whatsoever the day of our wedding. Completely smooth sailing. Candice was amazing at organizing all of our vendors and letting them know where to go and what to do.

    Candice also made sure that during the day of, she resolved so many last minute issues that were happening to my grooms suite (e.g. getting the A/C in the room fixed, asking the venue to fix the outlet in the grooms suite restroom, helping the groomsmen put on their boutonnieres). She even made sure to give us a few moments in between events to eat! As many other married couples know, getting to eat your own wedding food is a luxury since you almost never have time to enjoy it, but she made sure that we had some time to enjoy our food too.

    GREAT experience and choice going with Milk Events. Because of them, my wife and I can fondly look back at our wedding day with nothing but smiles.

    Hire Milk Events!

    Oh my goodness, Candice and her team are AMAZING! We had our wedding last week and me and my now-husband are gushing over how seamless everything went, thanks in very large part to Candice. Initially, I wanted some help from a planner but did not want a full-time planner. Candice has different packages and lets you customize by picking and choosing different services from each in order to meet all your needs. She is very communicative and responsive - always responds within the same day, if not the same hour. She has connections with amazing vendors and helps keep you ahead of schedule for everything you need to do. She is so detail-oriented and creates budgets, spreadsheets, timelines, etc. Everyone was amazed at our day-of timeline and how much thought and detail went into it. On the day of the wedding, she and her team had headsets on and were so on point that my family and others said they were like the secret service - haha. For example, when a guest showed up last minute without RSVP-ing, Candice told her assistant over the headset to look for that person, what they looked like, and to tell him where his table was. She also accommodated game time changes - we ended up wanting to do the chair dance last minute and wanted to cancel portions of the reception, and she made it happen. She also somehow got all my things together at the end of the night and made sure everything got back to my hotel with me.

    Everyone warned me that at least two things would go wrong on my wedding day. If that happened, I have no idea because Candice is an absolute professional. She is a natural at her job and we cannot thank her or recommend her enough.

    Truly thankful for Candice and Milk Events!

    Highly recommend Candice and The Milk Events team!! I got married on 7/10/2021 but our wedding was originally planned for June 2020. Due to COVID we had to postpone the date and during this stressful and uncertain times, Candice was always there for our couple. She had updated me with the changes to COVID restrictions and followed up with me throughout the year.

    I was a full-time grad student when I was planning for our wedding so I decided to look for a wedding planner who can guide me through each and every step of planning. I went with the full package with The Milk Events and it was truly the best decision I made during this planning process!

    With years and years of experience in the wedding industry, Candice always knew what I was looking for! She is sweet, professional, and very knowledgable! She has created the perfect wedding that I had envisioned. I am so thankful to have connected and worked with Candice and her team!

    AMAZING! One of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

    Working with Milk Events was one of the first and BEST decisions we made for our wedding. We found out about Milk Events through one a friend, and when we met with Candice for the first time, we were sold. Candice and her team are incredibly friendly, knowledgable, organized, and professional, and put my husband and my minds at ease knowing that we had such an amazing team working with us to make our wedding happen!

    We booked the 2% package with Milk Events, which included assistance with finding vendors, budget outlining, unlimited contact with our wedding planners from the moment we booked (thank goodness), and use of Milk Events' decorations for our wedding. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Candice made sure we were right on schedule, found INCREDIBLE vendors who were available and fit our budget, and provided her professional insight and expertise when it came to design and overall aesthetic. Candice also helped us with designing our invitations, menus, place cards, and wedding programs so that everything matched and looked lovely. When we had last-minute guest changes just 1-2 days before the wedding after the place cards were already printed, Candice and Kristy went above and beyond to HAND WRITE a place card in time to make it for the wedding. I wanted to (or maybe I actually did) cry at their amazing thoughtfulness and dedication.

    For the days leading up to the wedding and on the day-of, Kristy was our lead coordinator as Candice had a prior schedule conflict that we knew about from the beginning. Kristy was absolutely amazing!! She made sure everything we planned for our wedding was taken care of so that I really did not have to worry about anything and could just enjoy the day! Like any wedding, there were a couple of unforeseen events that came up, but they were so minor and Kristy swiftly took care of everything, that our wedding day was honestly so much fun without ANY of the stress or horror stories I've heard that happened at other weddings. It was perfect!! Our guests were so impressed by Milk Events' professionalism, friendliness, and organization; everyone had such an amazing time!

    We truly cannot thank Candice, Kristy, and the rest of the Milk Events team enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. I highly recommend them to any one out there searching for a wedding planner or coordinator who wants to make sure that their wedding is beautiful, organized, and one of the absolute best days of their lives!

    A perfect experience!

    We loved Candice - I can't count how many times we said 'thank god we have her' throughout the 8 months that we were wedding planning. She stole our heart during our selection process by whipping out an extremely detailed spreadsheet of budget and schedule, and then ended on a high note with us the day of our wedding when she calmly managed everything through unexpected rain. She was responsive, insightful, thoughtful and guided us through this once in a life time process with sincerity and a very sure hand. We've already recommended her to one of our closest friends and will continue to do so. You can't do wrong with Candice!!!

    love love love

    Candice planned our wedding over the period of one year, and she was phenomenal!! She made the entire process so easy and smooth. She helped us design our wedding invitations and stationary and printed them for us, helped us design and let us borrow decor, and gave us so much helpful advice to prepare for the big day. She and her team are so experienced and their confidence and expertise really kept me calm and happy during the entire planning process. She has worked with so many other great vendors that trust her, love her, and enjoy working with her which helps so much!!

    I 100% recommend Candice and her team..!! You will not regret it.

    Loved working with Milk Events!!

    I LOVED working with Candice & the Milk Events team! The partial package option was perfect for me -- I did a lot of the design stuff on my own and had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but just needed some extra help. In the beginning, Candice and I talked about my vision for the wedding and she quickly recommended venues and vendors that would fit my budget and theme. She had great recommendations and I really loved working with all of my vendors!

    During the planning process, Candice regularly checked in with me to make sure everything was on track and to see if I needed anything. She was very responsive and answered any questions I had!

    In the month leading up to the wedding, I was super stressed finalizing all of the details (lol), but one thing that helped was knowing I could count on Candice and her team. One of the big perks of working with Milk Events was being able to use their amazing wedding decor! They had so many unique and beautiful things that I wouldn't even know where to find.

    Candice created a super detailed timeline for our wedding day and it was THE BEST. It broke down our day by the minute and had all of the information we needed. Candice and her team were superstars on our wedding day!! They set up all of the decor beautifully and her assistant made sure I stayed hydrated throughout the day and basically helped me with anything I needed. Thanks to the Milk Events team our wedding day went so smoothly! We received so many compliments on how nice and well-organized everything was and I know it's because of the Milk Events team!

    Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Milk Events for your wedding planning needs!!

    Candice and her team are amazing!!

    Candice and her team really made my wedding special for me and my guests. My husband and I received many compliments of how classy and well put together our wedding was and it's all thanks to Candice and Milk Events.

    I interviewed several wedding planners before deciding to go with Milk Events. Before meeting Candice, I was feeling overwhelmed with wedding planning. I had no idea what I was doing and there was just SO MUCH out there. I met with Candice for about an hour and she completely put me at ease. I left my meeting feeling better and I felt like I had a plan. I hired her as soon as I got home.

    We went with the Whole Milk package and it's worth every penny. My husband and I often thought her services were worth more than what she was charging because of everything she did for us. Candice had multiple in person meetings with us and met with me at various vendors. I could call or text her at anytime for advice on what to wear, what to do, etc. I had an emergency with my escort tiles two days before the wedding and I called her at 7am. I was a little distraught that I was not going to have escort tiles but knew there was nothing I could do about it BUT Candice saved the day. She made some calls and was able to get me connect with a vendor that was reasonably priced and I was able to get beautiful escort tiles in time for my wedding.

    We cannot recommend Milk Events enough.

    Jill was my wedding planner/day of coordinator. She brought along her 2 assistants Sarah and Josephine. I can only say that the level of service I got from these ladies was the best. Jill was the sweetest, most wonderful person you could ever meet. She would show up promptly to our meetings and was super organized with our timeline, listing all the details down to the minute. We had a lot of DIY items that we wanted to bring for our reception decorations, and we were worried about fitting them all in our cars. So she offered to bring all of them in her car to deliver to the venue! Hiring Milk Events with Jill as my wedding planner was the best decision I've made in our entire wedding. I would definitely recommend them to all brides-to-be!

    Such a Professional Team

    Kristy was our planner and was absolutely amazing. My wife is a control freak and it's amazing how Kristy was able to handle her and all her needs.

    During the planning process she was organized and extremely on top of things. She would also be extremely honest giving us realistic expectations.

    Day of, we really couldn't have done it without her. There were apparently a few mishaps that was out of her control (DJ forgot something and had to run home, apparently it even rained). We didn't even find out about these things until weeks later! She is so professional, we didn't have a single worry. She took care of them and made sure everything worked for us.

    Milk Events and Candice were amazing during our wedding day and preparation process! We got recommended by a close friend and it was an easy choice due to personal connections. We utilized Milk Events for Day of Coordination services but honestly we felt supported beyond that. Milk Events has important vendor connections that allowed us to streamline services due their prior experiences of working together! We utilized their recommendation of florist, photography and rental services and extremely pleased with all recommended vendors. On the day of our wedding day, everything went so smoothly, Candice and her staff were very attentive - things we wouldn't really think about we would need! We cannot recommend Milk Events and Candice more!!!

    I was initially hesitant to hire a wedding planner, but ended up deciding on having Candice (and Milk Events) coordinate everything for me. That ended up being the best decision I could’ve made in regards to my wedding. She was on point and proactive when it came to helping me organize the big day, organizing everything from event to menu to venue coordination. She also helped me with a ton of small details that I forgot about (being a bride is stressful, I take no blame for that) such as table cards, little table signs, etc. Throughout the entire planning process, she was extremely communicative, responsive, and flexible, even when my demands became more and more extreme (sorry Candice.)

    The day of the wedding was like a dream. Candice arrived extremely early to make sure everything was as it should, and her assistant was always with me, ensuring that I was happy and content with how everything was. My wedding was one of the most memorable days of my life, and I really couldn’t have done it all without her!

    This review has been long overdue but I'm glad I finally got to it. I found Candice through yelp and based on proximity and reviews I booked her for month of coordinator. She has the perfect personality and skills as a coordinator because she is always on top of things and very detail oriented, details I've never even thought about until she brought it up. She is also very responsive and easy to talk with because she isn't pushy and I feel like I'm planning a wedding with a friend. On the day of, Candice and her team went above and beyond their responsibility. Especially when we were taking the pictures by the waters and realized I forgot my bouquet, Candice scaled my backyard fence into my home to retrieve it to save time instead of going around, I don't think even my bridesmaids would've done that for me. She was also super helpful in helping me decide on decor and lent me a lot of props for the reception, she even hand made personalized signs for my engagement photos. Candice is one of a kind and she'll give it her all to make sure your wedding is as well. Thank you Candice!

    Candice has been an absolute BLESS - wedding was such a stressful and important event but Candice (and Milk events) has made it so so much smooth, memorable and just beyond my expectation of what a wedding planning team can do!!     The BEST Wedding Planner!!
    We just got married in June and had a fabulous time, thanks to Candice and the amazing team at Milk Events! Candice is an absolute pleasure to work with! She is extremely knowledgeable, detailed, professional and organized. She helped to create logistics and timeline, coordinated the rehearsal, designed custom menus, acrylic wall seating chart, and table numbers, which all turned out beautiful. Candice was very patient with us every step of the way and helped to ensure that everything was perfect for our big day. The wedding day was a little hectic and there were a few unexpected curve balls, however the calmness shown by Candice in making the necessary decisions required at the moment were critical in moving things along smoothly. She helped transform our vision into reality. All the wedding planning and coordination could be very stressful, but Milk Events really helped to make it all stress-free! Hiring a wedding planner was the best decision I made to make all the little details of my wedding day perfect. Candice gave us peace of mind. Thank you, Candice and her team at Milk Events!
