  I am familiar with Melissa's work so she was a shoe-in to be our photographer. But I have to say- with authenticity- she exceeded our expectations even beyond what we had imagined. First, we are amazed at all of the shots she managed to get. Even during a single moment like the toasts or the ceremony- she captured everything from so many different angles, and we are thoroughly impressed. I didn't even remember her peeking up during our vows, but there the pictures are, from such a close angle. Incredible! Second, we are stunned by her creativity. She captured so many amazing shots with such creativity, and we are so grateful that we get to benefit from her talents! From the ring pictures to the detail pictures to the editing she did with lighting just right and everything- it's such artwork, and we love it. Third, she did everything we asked (and more!). I feel like we stacked the deck high for her to capture all of our portraits and candid and details, but she got it all. The day was such a blur to us that it's so neat to go back and see the pictures of all the food (because we forgot what it looked like) and the décor (because I never really got to take it all in). It truly helps us understand what the day was like for guests. Lastly, Melissa captured such sweet, wonderful moments throughout the day that truly bring emotions up while viewing them. So many moments I forgot about or didn't even realized happen, but she got them, preserved forever. It really is amazing how her participation in our wedding day will be meaningful for the rest of our lives. We love love love the outcome and couldn't be happier with all of the results. It almost goes without saying, too, but Melisa was a joy to have around on our wedding day. She was calm, informative, and cheerful all day long. Her presence was a treat, and I can't recommend her enough.

  To put it simply, Melissa is incredible. Her photojournalistic style was exactly what we wanted in an engagement/wedding photographer. She walks the perfect balance of sweetness, warmth, and compassion, with using assertiveness and wit to get the job done (and done right.) She gets people where they need to be quickly, and uses humor to make everything relaxed and fun!! She is timely, professional and one of the most genuine people you will meet. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable just being us...while she quietly blended into the background. She gave us great ideas but respected our ideas and opinions as well. If you want the best wedding pictures EVER, then woman is the real deal--she will not disappoint!!!

  More than with many other vendors, you really have to trust your photographer (after all, they are the ones who preserve your memories for years after your wedding!), and, from the moment that my husband and I first spoke to Melissa, we knew that we could trust her. She has a low-key warmth that makes you feel like you're talking to your best friend, but is simultaneously a consummate professional who will keep you on your timeline and is so committed to taking the most stunning photos. She was certainly happy to offer her expertise in terms of recommending shots, but, more than anything, wanted us to customize our shot list towards what we really wanted. Melissa did an amazing job of affirming and helping us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and was not at all intrusive - in looking at our gallery of wedding photos, my husband and I looked at each other and said, 'Did you even notice that she was there?'. The photos were breathtaking, and we couldn't wipe the smiles off of our faces as we looked back on photos of our day and all of the love that she captured, certainly between the two of us but also among our family and friends. We could not have been more pleased with our decision to hire Melissa, and would recommend her to other couples with the highest possible recommendation!

  Melissa is lovely, and was the perfect photographer for our wedding day. The photographs were STUNNING. She captured ourselves and our guests so well. And what's more, she was a DREAM to work with. She is at once, so professional, calm and easygoing, and so fun. I can't recommend her highly enough.

  My husband and I hired Melissa to shoot our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process. We got our pictures back two weeks ago, and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Melissa captured the day, and all of the emotions that came with it, so perfectly. Equally importantly, she set us at ease throughout the day, ensuring that we didn't feel awkward having a camera trained on us for hours on end and making sure our families and bridal party had a blast. We couldn't recommend her more highly and definitely plan to use her for any photography needs we may have down the road.

  Wow! We couldn't be more pleased with Melissa Tuck Photography. She captured our day and all the very special important details that we put into it. She is very organized and speedy with her delivery and posting of the pictures online...I've been the slow one in choosing my images for our album!

  I can't say enough good things about Melissa Tuck!!! She was incredible! Before the event she was very prompt at responding to our emails and questions and worked with us to create a detailed schedule of events and a photo list. She was recommended by a friend of my mom's, and we are so happy we hired her!
  The day of, Melissa was great at corralling our (sometimes) unruly bunch and helping everyone stay relaxed and focused during the shoots. When the photos came back, they were absolutely amazing!! She is so talented at capturing the emotions of the day--and even moments I didn't even remember having!
  Also, another great thing is that she is willing to travel to shoot weddings. Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you hire Melissa to capture the best day of your life!

  I can't express in grand enough words how truly lucky we were to have Melissa Tuck as our wedding photographer. The beauty of her work is evident as you peruse her portfolio, but the other side that you don't get to see until she's in person is that she is an incredible, fast-moving and hard-working machine. She was a truly delightful presence all day - somehow always in the right place at the right time, capturing every moment and detail, yet somehow never in the way! Her hard work also didn't stop at the end of the wedding day - she edited and released our images with impressive speed and patiently guided us through the process of ordering prints and designing a beautiful book. Our friends and family (and even some people we don't know well who have seen images from the wedding) have told us that we "really hit the jackpot" with Melissa, and I can't think of a truer statement.

  I can't express in grand enough words how truly lucky we were to have Melissa Tuck as our wedding photographer.   I was so happy when Melissa accepted to photograph our wedding in France. I was introduced to her work by my American husband, who showed me her blog when I told him about my passion for photography. She is the sweetest, adorable, most professional person I have ever met and her work is amazing. Despite not being familiar with the surroundings of our wedding location in France and not understanding what half of the guests were saying, she documented our wedding in the most perfect, beautiful, creative, funny, unforgettable and professional way one could hope for. She introduced the concept of wedding documentary to France and made a wonderful job! My husband and I as well as our families are thrilled we chose Melissa for our wedding - one decision we will never regret!

  Melissa is wonderful! I knew from our first meeting that I was going to love working with her. She had so many great suggestions and made sure to capture so many special moments. Thomas is not a fan of being photographed but Melissa was so great at working with him and getting so many great smiles. I get excited everytime I look through our pictures and am so thankful that we found Melissa to photograph our big day. These are pictures we will cherish for forever and we couldn't be happier with them!

  Melissa has talent beyond belief. We'd seen her portfolio, so we knew her photos would be good, but when we actually saw the shots, they blew us away. She was amazing at getting everyone to go where they were supposed to and to actually have FUN while we were getting our pictures taken. Crying babies, petulant grandparents and wandering uncles were no match for Melissa's supreme skills. In particular, she provided an amazing value for such top-notch service. Her photos are true art, and we feel genuinely lucky to have had her as our wedding photographer.

  We were so pleased with Melissa's services! She did the most wonderful job photographing our wedding. We have received so many compliments about our pictures. Everyone keeps asking, "Wow! Who took your photos?" Communicating with her before, during, and after the Happy Day was very smooth and easy. She captured important and creative shots during the wedding without being a distraction or altering the flow of the day. It was absoutely freezing and windy but Melissa went above and beyond our expectations to get some good shots. She will do whatever it takes before the shoot to plan with you, the day of the shoot, and while she is editing to make sure you are happy with your photos. She's the best!
