Megan Made My Wedding Day

Megan was an absolute pleasure to work with from the beginning of our wedding planning through the big day. She is kind, friendly, accommodating, and has a gentle yet authoritative vibe about her. I am not photogenic at all (and struggle with my fake smile) and Megan made my husband and I look like legitimate models on our big day.

Megan also helped with several day-of things -- she made sure that fans were distributed at my 90 degree outdoor ceremony. She helped my mom/maids of honor with several logistics on the day of. She made our sunset photos a lot of fun to take, and even paid mind to small details that we had brought up in conversations several months prior. I will 10/10 hire Megan again for future photos.

Perfect photos

Megan captured the most beautiful photos and the quality and color of the photos brings out all of the beauty on our wedding day. She is exceptional with lighting! Also she is a delight to work with and highly professional. I highly reccomend her!

Highly Recommend!

Megan is so talented at what she does. I knew this before I even met her... before I even got engaged! I came across some of her engagement and wedding pictures on Facebook and Instagram and instantly knew that I would love to have her as my wedding photographer one day. Her pictures are amazingly beautiful! Within a couple of weeks after getting engaged I contacted her PRAYING that she'd be available. What I didn't know before meeting her was how amazing of a person she is. Megan is always smiling, is always trying to find ways to try to grow as a photographer, has a calming presence about her, and is so easy to work with. My fiancé and I had a little bit of anxiety getting in front of the camera for the first time together for engagement pictures, but Megan instantly put us at ease. You can't help but smile around her! The day of our wedding she arrived early (with fresh flowers she had bought just for our detail pictures which was so thoughtful) and kept our wedding timeline moving (she is VERY organized!). She takes a ton of pictures and they all look incredible! If you're looking for a photographer that is easy to work with, always has a smile on her face, and will deliver truly breathtaking pictures on your special day, look no further! Thank you, Megan!

The best decision I made for my wedding

The best advise I can give to any engaged couple is to hire Megan as your photographer. From the first time my husband and I met her, we knew we had to have her as our photographer. She is the SWEETEST person and every interaction and meeting with her was so comfortable and personal. On the day of the wedding, Megan was great about helping to keep our timeline moving. We got our photos back so quickly and they were so stunning. She really beautifully captured everything, down to the details. After sharing our wedding photos with friends and family, almost everyone asked who our photographer was because the pictures are so amazing! I cannot recommend Megan Travis Photography enough. Please don't miss an opportunity to work with her.

WONDERFUL experience with Megan!

We had the pleasure of working with Megan and her team during our Nov 24th wedding. With Megan, you get the whole package - great personality and wonderful pictures. We loved reliving our special day with all of the many, many amazing photos she captured. I have a special needs sister who was in my wedding party (sometimes can be very difficult to get a good photo of her). I told Megan I wanted to be able to get at least one good photo of us too (candid). When she sent our final photos, I had tons to pic from!! I was overjoyed! She really gets to know her clients and delivers amazing work. I would recommend her 10 out of 10 times. She is truly the best!!!

Megan photographed our wedding this past March, as well as our engagement pictures and my bridal portraits, and she was an absolute dream to work with! Megan is so sweet, caring, patient, and willing to make all of your wedding photo dreams come true. My husband generally does not enjoy having his photo taken, but Megan made him feel comfortable and was so helpful with posing and made the experience so relaxed and fun! Megan goes out of her way to make sure that her clients are happy and that their day is stress-free – she is very flexible with her scheduling and availability, and she helped me plan many details of our wedding day including our timeline and the posed pictures that we wanted taken. We got all of our photos back so quickly, and they are absolutely gorgeous! Megan is assertive when she needs to be to get posed photos done efficiently and in a timely manner (she always has a great timeline!), and yet I barely noticed her at the reception, but she captured all of the best shots and was more than happy to take some photos of us outside when it started to snow. I seriously cannot say enough wonderful things about Megan – she is incredibly talented, and we feel so lucky to have worked with her!

Incredible pictures and experience! Megan is sweet and talented and it shows in her work!!! Best decision I made. If you want the most beautiful photographs to hang on your wall you will get that with her. Her style is natural and not forced. She makes you feel very comfortable. Your photographs will come out better then imagined, like a magazine. She really captured who we are and our special day!

After interviewing 5+ photographers, I knew Megan was the perfect match as soon as we met. You spend a lot of time with your photog, so it's important to have your personalities mesh well! Megan is sweet, yet assertive when it comes to photoshoots. She tells you where to look, and where to put your hands, so you look flawless, and not awkward at all. Megan is competitively priced, her turn around time is incredibly quick, and her photos are stunning. I would recommend Megan 100X over again! We love you, Meg- Thank you!!

Megan is the only photographer my husband and I met with before our wedding. I had already seen her work online and knew that she was talented, and after just a short meeting with her at a coffee shop, we knew we wanted her to capture our special day. Megan is such a kind, genuine person and she has a calming presence- all things you want in someone who will be spending a lot of time with you on your wedding day. We knew we didn't need to meet anyone else, we wanted Megan! And after seeing our finished photos, I am thrilled that we hired her.

If you've looked at any of Megan's pictures (and if you haven't, what are you doing?! go to her website!) you can tell the special attention she pays to detail. All those little details that go into planning a wedding, the things you worry nobody will notice... Megan notices them, photographs them, and makes them look ever better on film than they did in person! She's also just fun to be around and made me feel so relaxed on my wedding day. I told her that my husband and I were very nervous about looking awkward in our wedding photos, but we didn't need to worry, Megan told us just how to stand and made us look and feel like we were professionals.

I really couldn't be happier with how our photos turned out. We'll definitely be hiring Megan again for any of our photography needs in the future. Pictures are the only thing left after all the build up to your big day, and trusting Megan to make those lasting memories for us was one of the best decisions I've ever made! Thank you SO SO SO much Megan!!

Megan is an absolute dream to work with. I saw her reviews and her work and knew she was exactly what I was looking for. She is so kind-hearted and never stops smiling. Our wedding party couldn't get over how sweet she was while still having the ability to organize and direct a large wedding party. Her work is incomparable. Her photography is clean and crisp...Pinterest worthy. It was freezing while we were taking photos, but her spirit is what kept us all going. She was such a trooper and took every photo I wanted. She is so talented. We plan to use Megan for maternity and family pictures one day, and we aren't even local! My husband and I knew picking a photographer for our wedding was going to be one of the hardest parts of the whole wedding planning process. I'm not sure how my daughter found Megan, but it could not have been a perfect match for our young bride. Right from the first meeting through the entire 10-12 hours spent the day of the wedding, Megan was more than just our photographer, we consider her a friend. She has this infectious smile and laugh that just brings people together. I can't wait to see all the wedding pictures. I saw the sneak peek, and they were beautiful. Megan did the engagement pictures as well and each time I have taken one of them to get printed or blown up, each facility asked me who took the pictures because they were the best quality they have seen EVER and the most creative!

So if you are looking for a great photographer, look no further...

Megan was great! After the first time I met her at a wedding show, I was certain that I wanted to hire her for my wedding. Her style is soft and elegant; perfect for what I envisioned for my photographer. She even made a wedding consultation feel like a meeting with friends; she is down to earth and seems like she has never met a stranger.
Neither of us like to take pictures, but she truly made the process effortless for us; we felt at complete ease and had a fun time! She was extremely flexible in scheduling meetings and shoot times but was also rather professional and organized in her dealings with us. I do not think she is capable of being impoilite! Most importantly, my pictures turned out better than I could have ever imagined! I would definitely recommend bride's/grooms/families in the Triad to look into hiring Megan for their photography needs!

Megan captured our wedding day in the most special way. She's one of the sweetest people we have ever met and made us feel unbelievably comfortable in front of the camera! She has a natural gift of capturing those sweet moments, many of which were completely candid, and that is the greatest thing about looking back at our pictures. Megan is an amazing photographer and a great vendor to work with. After photographing my now sister/brother-in-law’s wedding in Greensboro about a year ago, we asked her if she would travel to Savannah for our big day. We had a large wedding party to work with but Megan showed up and took complete control including rounding up all the groomsman and making sure they were dressed in time. She offered great suggestions for pictures not only at the venue but at the house we were getting ready in. What I remember most about working with Megan is the smile on her face, she truly enjoys capturing other’s special moments and offers great advice. Thank you Megan for traveling to Savannah for our wedding, being part of our special day and being so easy to work with. We love the few pictures we’ve seen already and look forward to seeing the rest of the photos! Knowing Megan had everything under control put me ease not only during the planning process but on the wedding day itself. I would recommend Megan without any hesitation!

Megan was fantastic from the beginning of the wedding planning process all the way to the end. She is creative, professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with. She traveled all the way to Raleigh to meet with us multiple times before our wedding date! She always responded to any questions I had within 24 hours and made us feel completely taken care of throughout the entire process. She has wonderful ideas that I would have never thought of. We absolutely loved having Megan as our photographer. Not only was she welcoming but her work simply speaks for itself. So talented and such a blessing to work with. We can't thank her enough for capturing our greatest memory in such a beautiful way.

Megan stays on top of her work, always responding in a timely matter and meeting any needs of her customers. She went over and beyond our expectations and everyone has told us how great of a job she did. She gave me a cute mason jar bride survival kit and her usb came in an adorable bundle. Those are just a few of her special little touches that makes her so unique.

Megan was truly our favorite vendor to work with on our big day! She was able to guide us through so many things that day, and made things happen as soon as we asked. She took control as soon as she arrived that day, taking my dress, shoes and jewelry without me having to ask. Once the ceremony started, you barely noticed she was there....but the photos were breathtaking! Following the ceremony, she coordinated all of the group photos so that we didn't have to stand around too long, and then gave me nice reminders throughout the evening of moments that I had mentioned beforehand that I wanted to make sure and capture. There was one pose that my husband and I were particularly interested in capturing and she made it happen, talking to the venue coordinator to move boxes and clear out space. She captured all of the evening's craziness on the dance floor and the bride and groom's sparkler send-off. She did all of this with a smile on her face all evening. I have two brothers getting married next year and I have already told them that they must go with Megan for their photographer. Not only were the pictures beautiful, but she provides excellent value and was so easy to work with!

My husband and I absolutely loved Megan's work! She is such a sweet and professional person to work with! When choosing a photographer for the most important day of your life there are so many things to consider; Will they be creative? Will they capture every moment? If I have my own ideas, will they get offended? My husband and I met with several photographers and from the moment we met Megan we knew she would do a great job! She was very caring, patient, professional, and very passionate about her job. We did engagement, bridal and wedding day photos with her and there is not one single thing we were disappointed about. Megan was amazing to work with! She was super responsive and helped me plan out everything from the bridal portraits to the wedding day so that it was exactly as I wanted. On the wedding day, she kept everything organized and on schedule which really helped us enjoy our day more! Her packages include a lot and are very reasonable in price. I would recommend Megan to anyone who needed a wedding photographer.

Megan did such a great job with our wedding/engagement pictures! She takes beautiful pictures and you can tell that she really enjoys what she does (plus she is very reasonable compared to other photographers in the area). The quality of her pictures is amazing and they look like something from a magazine. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Planning a wedding in North Carolinia while living in Texas was a challenge. After many emails,phone calls and photographers already booked I came across wonderful reviews for Megan. We weren't planning on going home to the East coast for while but I needed to book a photographer. I emailed Megan asking her to meet us on Skype and without hesitation she agreed. After meeting her on Skype I knew she was the photographer to capture our special day. Megan is so sweet, professional, and rapidly responded to any questions we had. I met Megan once in person a week before our wedding told her what pictures we wanted and I knew that they would be perfect. Looking at our online gallery we felt like we just re-lived our wedding day, Megan and And her assistant did not miss a beat. I am so thankful to have met Megan and have her a part of our special day. We look forward to working with Megan in the future as our family grows and other special events occur. I used Megan Travis Photography for my engagement, bridal, and wedding photography, and I LOVED them! Megan is so sweet and down to earth, very professional and yet flexible. She was truly responsive to what I wanted for both the overall feel to the photos and the specific details. For the engagement pics, we had kind of a cluster of places to visit and yet Megan was patient throughout it all. My engagement pictures turned out better than I could have ever hoped for. I loved the mixture of focal points in the photos we got back from the wedding--Megan and Travis were really able to pick up everything that I loved about our event (even details I would have never seen had they not been picked up in the photos)! The only complaints I could possibly give would be of my own forgetfulness in specific photos I wish we had gotten. But, again, that is really something on my end that was left out so I cannot fault anyone else for that. Overall, we really got the best service for our money--VERY reasonably priced without foregoing any quality. Thanks again, Megan and Travis!

I absolutely loved having Megan capture my day. From the moment my husband and I met her we knew she was the one. She made us feel so comfortable and was so flexible about the package we chose. Whenever we had a question she responded quickly. Most importantly, on our wedding day she knew exactly where to be to get the best shots and was never in the way. All my family and friends have raved about how amazing the photos turned out. I will definitely call Megan to photograph more important events in our lives. She is such a talented photographer. When I had my first appointment with Megan Rhew Photography, I was so impressed. I knew she would be my photographer. Megan Rhew was polite and professional. Megan was very professional and extremely sweet she mase fell me at ease during the whole day she was very responsive when it came to my ideas I just loved her.
