Covid nearly destroyed our wedding!

Covid nearly destroyed our wedding! The Grand Hyatt in Kauai closed down and didn't tell us!! Luckily I called to ask a question and they told us! So much for eloping to Hawaii for a Valentine's Day wedding! Shasta to the rescue!! Maui Weddings From The Heart took on the challenge and what a great job they did with 1-1/2 weeks to go!! The Hyatt Regency in Maui got us booked in time for a Valentine's day honeymoon and Shasta did the rest.

Shasta has great instincts having done this for over 30 years! She has great connections loyal to her giving us the ability to keep going when we almost decided to cancel. We are glad we didn't! She is a miracle worker and because of her our dream of getting married on Valentine's day came true in our favorite place, Hawaii!!

If you want the best, she's your girl! Thank you, Shasta!

Easy and perfect!

Everything was perfect for our wedding day and it was so easy! Communication was prompt with Shasta-I had no worries at all. Mr. Nahale was wonderful with music. Reverend Joe Miles did a perfect job making our ceremony beautiful and fun. Our limo driver Paul was just the greatest! Our photographer Frank did a fantastic job. Thank you so much to everyone! I don’t have a single negative thing to say-it was simply perfect!

Beyond our Wildest Dreams

Maui Weddings From The Heart truly lives up to its name in creating a heartfelt experience that is unforgettable. It was obvious that every care and detail was taken to heart to ensure that my vision for our 10 Year Vow Renewal ceremony was realized. While planning a destination wedding can seem like a daunting task, Maui Weddings From The Heart made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Shasta Rose was organized, responsive and attentive to every question and concern that I had. She is not only resourceful with all of the vendors that you’ll need, but she has other recommendations for things that you may not have considered such as dry-cleaning services and what not to forget on your special day. I only chose the colors of my bouquet and requested tropical flowers and I got a bouquet that was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Our actual ceremony truly exceeded our expectations! The beach alone offers a spectacular landscape. The wedding coordinator, Andrea, was so friendly and directed in such a comfortable way. The officiant, Rev. Joe, was sincere and thoughtful. His words of wisdom and faith really made the ceremony especially engaging. The photographer, Frank Baranik, from Maui Professional Photography, was phenomenal. Our photos are absolutely gorgeous!! The lovely sounds of the ukulele played by Ricardo was the perfect Hawaiian tradition to make our occasion even more special. You and your soulmate will not find a better wedding service than Maui Weddings From The Heart. We are beyond grateful for their part in making our day incredibly beautiful and simply amazing!

Maui weddings from the heart is simply the best! Shasta, the wedding coordinator is an expert in her field. She is also,
kind, patient and friendly. She returned all of our emails and phone calls very promptly. Shasta was always there to offer advice, recommendations, and answer questions.

Seamless process for an amazing beach wedding

Fantastic Day

Our wedding couldn't have been more perfect thanks to Shasta and all she did to make the arrangements. She was quick to respond to emails and calls, and showed her expertise and caring in suggestions and recommendations on making our wedding perfect. Rev Joe was amazing and performed the most beautiful ceremony, as well as Charles with the beautiful music. Frank was a wonderful photographer who went over and above to give us beautiful pictures of our wedding. And our videographer Brian was equally as fabulous in capturing the wedding. I really felt that Shasta went over and above to make sure everything was perfect and to meet our expectations of what we hoped for on our wedding day. Thank you Shasta!

Right from the start we knew that Shasta from Maui Weddings from the Heart was the right choice for my husband and me. She was incredibly prompt and never left us waiting for a response. From the first enquiry to our wedding day, she was there every step of the way. She gave us great advice and helped us stay within our budget.

Our Special day was elegant, timeless and beautiful. She made it extremely easy and stress-free, very organized, had great tips and everything she did on the day was perfect.

I had the most amazing experience working with Shasta and the team she put together for my wedding. From the beginning until the very end of planning a destination wedding, she made it very easy and reassured me throughout the process that it was going to all turn out just the way I had always wanted. Shasta you brought our magical day to life! We wanted to get married in Maui as this was our happy place & you made our big day so special!!! Shasta covered every detail & made the process so easy especially for an anxious person like me. Everything was handled & communication was really good! My bouquet was stunning!! The spot on the beach was mesmerizing! She covered every detail & I would not have even known where to start. Photo tips, dry cleaning & restaurant recommendations! We picked our reception venue (Gannon's) based on these suggestions! We even booked our luau & other activities from coordinators through Shasta! Now on to the vendors!! Rev Joe was so genuine!! My family loved how sincere he was! He was the perfect touch to our special day! Jackie C did our hair & makeup! She went above what we even envisioned!! Harpist Alfe was great & played the most beautiful music! Frank was great at capturing all those special moments & the pictures were amazing! He even captured a few last minute pics!!! Our coordinator Julia was so sweet & made our ceremony & reception dinner that much more special! She was truly amazing!! She made the reception decor so soft & elegant! The guitar player at our reception Paul P played the most relaxing acoustic type music & my cousin mentioned the music was so great! Shasta coordinated all of it & she is just awesome!! Maui Weddings from the Heart is just a gem!!! I highly recommend them to anyone out there planning to marry in Maui!! Thanks again for everything Shasta!!!

Everything about our experience was fantastic. This was our first visit to Hawaii and we relied solely on Shasta to direct us and take care of everything. She was absolutely amazing, super professional. Rev. Joe Miles performed a beautiful and very individualized ceremony for us and Carrll Robilotta, our photographer, was exceptional. My fiancee and I decided on an intimate wedding ceremony on Maui with just the two of us, and are we ever happy with our decision to hire Shasta at Maui Weddings from the Heart to coordinate our special day!! We still marvel at how smoothly our wedding day went, and now we have only happy, stress-free memories of our special event. The beach venue was sensational; Reverend Joe Miles was warm, friendly, and quite good; my hair and makeup were done to perfection; and the photographer was fantastic, so we now have many breathtaking photos of our day to share with family, friends, and of course, Facebook!

Working with Shasta was a pleasure, as she was really very pleasant to deal with and responsive throughout. We're grateful to her for playing such a large part in making our wedding day absolutely perfect!!

Everything was supper easy went perfect on the day of the wedding thanks to all of Shasta's help coordinating everything. The appointment to get the license was quick and easy, the beautician was on time and friendly and we really liked both the officiant and the photographer.

Shasta did a wonderful job. We had a quiet beach ceremony without all of the issues that many of our friends are dealing with as they plan larger weddings back in California. Our ceremony was in the morning at Makena Cove and we had the beach to ourselves. The sunsets are beautiful on that side of the island, but I doubt you would have the beach to yourself at that time of day. We had a great experience and highly recommend Maui Weddings From the Heart.

My Wife and I had a sunset wedding on Po'olenalena beach, Maui back in April. We are so glad to have Shasta from Maui weddings from the heart plan our wedding. Everything exceed all our expectations. Fantastic location, with great weather and scenery. We are really pleased with the service we received.

The minister [Joe] was a very friendly and down to earth guy who made us feel very relaxed during the service. The photographer [Frank] was very patient with us and gave excellent direction. He spent way more time with us than we expected and took our ideas for shots into account and did extra shots that we asked for of our family too. He was clearly a very experienced wedding photographer.

As for the planning service it was so easy, smooth and efficient working with Shasta. She was very responsive to emails, and was very helpful with any queries we had. Planning our wedding form the UK was easily done by email. It took us a long time to choose a wedding planner on the island, we are so glad we chose Maui Weddings from the Heart; we felt we got an exceptional service at a very fair price.

Shasta Rose at Maui Weddings From The Heart made our wedding better than we could have ever imagined. Shasta and her team offered top notch service. Starting with Jackie Cavallo, as she made me look and feel like a beautiful bride and going the extra mile by helping me with my dress to surprise my future husband. Rev Miles made our ceremony heartfelt and authentic which was so important since it was just the two of us. He incorporated a marriage blessing we gave him last minute making it extra special. Ginny did a wonderful job playing our special requests on the cello having the music in the background was soft and sweet. We received our wedding picture gallery and Sean Michael Hower did an amazing job. Our friends and family loved the unexpected video which made them feel like they were right there at the wedding. Bill at Maui Fun Guide organized a few tours for us making our trip an adventure. Shasta Rose has great organizational skills as she pulled it all together in about a month and a half as that was a time crunch since I wanted a Valentine’s Day Wedding. Greetings from the north and Aloha Shasta,
We had a magnificent wedding ceremony on Ulua Beach and reception following at the Te Au Moana luau. Everything (including the weather) and everyone cooperated and all the well planned pieces discussed over the previous 9 months with Shasta at Maui Weddings from the Heart fell into place on our big day. Joe and I can honestly say we had a lot of fun on our wedding day and at our reception. Neither of us were stressed out on our big day, all we needed to do was be a bride and groom for the day : )Shasta was helpful, informative and was a welcome person to have in our corner as a couple planning their destination wedding in Maui (we are from Canada). There are things that are different country to country and the benefit of a planner is an asset when dealing with licenses, permits etc. On top of that there are the little nuances that may not be known depending on your venue, that Shasta prepares you for. For example wind on the beach, loose hair isn't the best idea! Clearly things the bride needs to know about on the wedding day. Shasta also has great vendors: Bill - Activities luau referral: Bill ensured all of our tables and guests tables were well placed at the luau and got us the best rate per person he could for the luau. Professional to deal with and patient with our planning. Cynthia Wolfe completed the marriage license details, she was great and we were in and out of her office quickly. Frank Baranik of Maui Professional Photography - on the day of our wedding he was very professional and good natured. Our proofs are spectacular!Good ideas for B&G photos and very patient with aour group photo lists. Lastly; Rev Joe Miles - one word amazing! He embodies the spirit of the island of Maui, the Hawaiian culture and language and delivers your chosen ceremony with great passion. Very memorable. Aloha Shasta,

Our overall experience was exceptional with your team of professionals and all started with you and your services. It is amazing that throughout the whole three month process there was just key information exchange between you and I. I have to say I was hesitant but I had to trust you. I'm glad I did. Everything went very well.

The stylists,
Andre Duarte, my stylist, she was fun and I loved my hair and make-up. She spent the time to take care of me. I loved her.

Jackie Cavallo, my mom's stylist, I really liked her job. My mom looked elegant and classic. My mom enjoyed Jackie's Spanish speaking skills.

The flower vendor,
I would NOT change anything about my bouquet, the flower circle, or the boutonniere. It had a little bit of purple, which I didn't even think about it. The some white was just perfect. I absolutely LOVED IT!

Reverend Joe Miles,
The ceremony was great. The vows we chose were a reflection of us, which made the whole experience even more meaningful to us. He wrote our vows on nice and watermarked paper. This was a nice surprise. His soothing and peaceful voice made us enjoy every word on the perfect setting.

On-site coordinator,
Bette was really on point. She was there to make sure everything was how I wanted and more. She was a blessing when she had new bobby pins for my hair when it was on my face.

The marriage license agent,
Cynthia Wolfe,
Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to meet her. She had a personal emergency. We hope everything is well now. Being said, Linda was helpful and got the job done.

The best for last, the photographer,
Sean Michael Hower was simply amazing!!!!!! We loved his professionalism, patience, and talent. We enjoyed our sessions with him. He was not in our faces. We followed his lead and also were able to add a bit of our own touch. So far, some of the photos are beautiful. We cannot wait to have our full portfolio.

Let me start by saying Shasta of Maui Wedding"s From The Heart, is the best on Maui if your getting married there, from the first phone call i knew she was the one for us. I had called a few other vendors and if you ever gotten that there to busy feeling then you know what I'm talking about, when i called her she took her time to explained what she did and could offer, we also had to move our wedding date After is was paid in full and all vendors were confirmed and not one time did she get upset or even make a big deal she actually did more to help me and she made it better the vendors she chose were the best on maui Rev Joe Miles wow! made us feel like family i had spoke to him a few weeks before and felt a connection like I've known him forever he made me realize how much i really love my Rebecca, The Photo crew Shawn & video crew Brian was the best and i mean the best!. We also had looked at a few videos for music and found " Skip" Shasta tracked him down and made it happen. So now lets get to the good stuff so i had planned with Rev Joe that i did not want to see my Bride until the big moment so i leave the hotel and bamm it starts to rain Rev Joe met me and the meeting point now I'm about to loose my mind Shawn,Brian,Skip they pulled out there cells Phones started looking at the radar to see what could be done mind you my bride is on here way to meet me not knowing whats going on next i know they all say get in the car and were zooming off to a spot that was to die for our Beach Wedding turn out to be better than we planned so with that being said i would use these guys in a minute also i would like to thank Elly"s Tux & Wedding shop they did all of the dress pressing and let me tell you how they wrapped the dress when we picked it up was amazing again thank you all for making Me & Rebecca's day the And last but not least the star of hair Jackie this girl rocks with the hair made Rebecca look like a hollywood star, we love you all.

Coming from Alaska, we wanted a package deal and someone local who knew all of the ropes. We also desired a very simple wedding. Shasta Rose was the perfect professional to help us in creating a very special wedding day and wedding week. She assisted with the marriage license appointment, flowers, an officiant, a photographer, the beach permit, hair, and make up. I'm sure if we desired a more extravagant wedding she would've helped with those details as well. It was absolutely perfect.

Shasta and her team was amazing! Couldn't have done it without them. Everything was planned perfectly, while we were in Connecticut and had no way of knowing the outcome. We both thought everything was beautiful and we really enjoyed the special day you arranged for us. We appreciate how quickly you were able to respond to us leading up to the wedding, the limo service was spectacular, and it was amazing how well everyone managed to handle things at Makena Cove while three other weddings were happening! Marina also loved her hairdresser Jackie. We also can’t say enough great things about the videographer, he did an absolutely amazing job.

Overall, we feel the majority of the vendors were good. There were maybe a few tiny things that could be improved, although the majority of this isn’t a big deal. Probably the only thing we really felt was an issue was the musician’s voice. Her skill at playing the music was great, but despite her claiming to be able to sing certain of the songs we picked, the songs were slightly out of her range. Frank's photography at the wedding and the trash the dress shoots were great, but he didn’t have a lot of suggestions for the pre-wedding pictures, and he didn’t really have quite the right equipment for taking pictures at the reception at Gannon’s (he could have used an extra flash or two). I know you don’t really include the reception as part of your service, but as a quick note for people who choose to have their reception at Gannon’s, it would perhaps be a good idea to suggest to people to make sure to meet with an on-site coordinator for Gannon’s prior to their reception. We thought the venue at Gannon’s was great, but the way they arrange the tables for us wasn’t quite what we had hoped for, and we would have asked for something slightly different if we had known in advance. Andrea did a wonderful job getting our centerpieces arranged perfectly for us, and handled the logistics of the on-site wedding against the other three amazingly well!

Thank you very much for all your hard work for us. We couldn’t imagine a better wedding and would definitely recommend you to everyone!

Shasta did an amazing job replying promptly to my many questions. She had to repeat herself many times and always did so very respectfully and professionally. She sent all of the documents that we needed and followed up appropriately. She was friendly and easy to talk to, and made the whole planning process a breeze for me. I so appreciate everything you did to make our wedding run smoothly! Rev. Charles was amazing! He had this voice that was captivating and his ceremony was heartfelt and warm. Our entire family complimented him many times, even though it was a little hard for them to hear him because of the wind and waves. He made us laugh and cry and he was so friendly when we first met him. He complimented me and made me feel welcome. He made our wedding traditional with the conch shell and Hawaiian chant/song and also made it unique by surprising us with on demand vows, which we loved. We loved him and appreciate him coming in close to the last minute and making our wedding magical. Andrea was there to greet us when we got there. She directed us how to enter and helped to get our families in the right place. She passed out tissues when we needed them and helped the picture part go smoothly. She did a great job as our on-site coordinator. Frank did an amazing job on our photographs. Though we have only seen the sneak peek pictures, we know the rest will be just as beautiful and special to us. He was assertive in directing us what to do and we appreciate that as we felt awkward going in to the photos, but so comfortable walking away. He really captured our love for each other and we really appreciate that. All of these vendors worked together to make our day comfortable, run smoothly and something we will remember for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend using Maui Weddings from the Heart to plan your paradise wedding!

The location that Shasta suggested for our wedding couldn't have worked out any better. The beach was beautiful at sunset and we were the only ones on the beach.
Rev. Joe far exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have been happier with the Hawaiian service. Frank (photographer) spent much more time with us than expected and was great to work with!

I was very happy with everything about our ceremony. The vendors were amazing.

Hair & Make-up - Jackie was great and helped me with my corset back dress when my mom looked overwhelmed. She put up with me during our trial run, when we tried about 10 different hairstyles, until we both agreed on the look. She was very easy to talk to and put me at total ease, like an old friend.
Musician - Vance was pleasant and mellow. He blended into the background and added the needed ambiance to the ceremony. His guitar was perfect for the venue.
Onsite Coordinator - Andrea made sure everything was perfectly organized and coordinated. She took control when needed and stepped aside as things naturally progressed. She was also very nice!
Photographer - Frank was a lot of fun to work with and his photos came out beautifully. He made us laugh and was so full of energy. I would highly recommend him.
Officiant - I can't say enough good things about Reverend Joe. His ceremony was beautifully done. It's a shame it was so windy that day, which made it hard to hear, but the keepsake printed ceremony he gave us we will treasure. He was funny, kind and heartful. He added some really nice touches and spiritual passages to the ceremony. His warm smile and personality truly made the ceremony.
(Cynthia, the marriage license officer was awesome too).
Thank you too, Shasta, for coordinating and confirming everything. It was hard for me to know what to expect being so far away and not being local during the planning process. The flowers were the perfect colors and the bouquet was lovely. You made everything so easy and picked exceptional vendors for our special day. We are very happy with the whole experience.

Let me just start off by saying anyone can be stressed and worried about their wedding day. However, my wedding day was nothing but the most beautiful and memorable day that I will cherish forever. It was raining, cold and misty weather on our wedding day but you could not tell us that, we wouldn't have believed you anyway. Pastor Joe made our wedding day special that it felt like we were standing in the sun! He made us feel like we were standing on top of the world. He personalized everything for us. I felt like I have know him my whole life. All of course captured in time by Frank. The photos captured every moment with my husband and my family. Like photos taken out of a magazine. Like I said it was raining , and the photos came out so beautiful and bright it looked as if we were standing in the sun! All of this of course put together by our wedding planner Shasta. Like the crazy bride non-stop emails and requests she catered to all my needs and was always there to take my calls. So very helpful and caring to all our needs. She really took care of us and made it just that much easier to walk down the isle. Maui Weddings From The Heart? . . . .Yes indeed!!!

Everything was absolutely perfect the day of the wedding!!

Reverend Joe made us feel so special and you could just truly feel he was genuine and cared even though he had only met us for a minute before he married us, which was a nice and calming feeling to have.

Pam, the ukele player, was absolutely amazing as well. She is so tiny and cute:) The only problem was you could not hear her. For me that was not an issue because it was still special and a cool experience to have her there even though no one else could hear her. It would be nice if the beach would let the musicians be mic'd up. It is just a shame because her voice and talent is incredible. The rose petals were not heavy but whatever we had ended up looking beautiful. The video was over the top AMAZING and he literally had it done in like 5 hours, not even kidding:) We had so much fun with Frank the photographer and Brian they really made it a special and fun time. I am so thankful and happy that I got the video. I cannot even imagine not getting it now after what he was able to capture and put together in such a short time. Andrea was there the day of the event to keep everything in order and she was fantastic! All the guests loved her as well. She was on time and kept everything running perfectly on time so that we would not miss anytime with the photographer or videographer.

It has been such a pleasure working with Shasta and your team and everything went so smoothly I could not have asked for a more magical day. It went better than even imagined:)

Shasta was absolutely amazing. Right from the very beginning I had a lot of questions. She got back to me in a timely manner and I knew exactly step by step what was going to happen at my wedding. All I had to worry about was showing up, which she also made simple with directions and such. The experience was amazing and I would not have changed a thing.

Rev Joe was simply awesome. The personal touch that he added to our ceremony was absolutely unforgettable. He was wonderful and we were comfortable with him instantly.

Our photographer Frank from Maui Professional Photography that Shasta set us up with was great. Our album was beautiful, well priced and came in the mail ultra quick! We forever have amazing memories captured in a beautiful work of art.

My wedding day could not have been more perfect. I was very impressed with the services they provided and their team exceeded my expectations. I thought planning a destination wedding would be very stressful, but their entire team made me feel at ease. They answered my emails quickly and answered all of my questions in detail which I appreciated. Our wedding was the weekend of Hurricane Iselle. She kept me updated and even provided me with options of alternatives if our wedding date needed to change due to the weather. Their entire team gave exceptional service. Jackie was my hair stylist and also applied my makeup. She was fun and just as excited as I was that I was getting married. I was also very pleased with the end product. Frank was our photographer. He made us feel comfortable, especially because my husband and I hate taking photos. He really knew what he was doing and gave us tips for our poses and kept us laughing. Our wedding day coordinator (I forgot her name), was very sweet and made sure my family and I knew what to expect during our special day. Shasta was an amazing help!! Planning a wedding from Florida I thought was not going to be an easy task. Shasta had everything planned out with ease from the Officiant, flowers, hair and make up, wedding license, and even location. My hair and make up was done by Hair Anywhere and she was professional and knew exactly what I wanted while it was something simple she was right on. We had a little bit of a scare the day of the wedding with rain that moved in. Shasta and Frank (photographer) moved quick on decisions and moved us up the road about 5 minutes away with no rain in sight. Rev Charles was GREAT! He made us laugh and truly made our day memorable and we still quote things that he said to us that day. Frank took amazing pictures that many people have fallen in love with and cannot believe the quality of our pictures. I would definitely use Maui Weddings from the Heart again should something come up in the future. I am so very happy that I came across there website!

Shasta Rose and the team that she works with were excellent. She provided the coordination for a package that included photography, videography, flowers, officiant, ceremony location, on site assistant, marriage license appointment, etc. Overall, the ceremony was more beautiful that I could have imagined! The photographer (Frank) was great - very professional and knew what he was doing and did a lot in a limited time. We had a minor snafu with flowers which Shasta contacted me about even before I said anything and very fairly remedied the situation. The videographer (Brian) was also very professional and provided an excellent product. I would definitely get videography if you are getting married on a beach - most people want to hear and see, even if they can't make it and a lot of the people who did make it couldn't hear it in the moment. The officiant (Reverend Joe) was WONDERFUL! I would totally pick this again; it was such a relief not to have to worry about coordinating all of these moving parts from 3,000 miles away.

We have to say you have totally surpassed our expectations on our wedding experience! It was so nice to be able to enjoy our stay & not have to worry about any details associated with the wedding. You were kind enough to make our appointment with the licensing agent and then we were able to relax until the big day & that was AWESOME! You recommended a fantastic location-it was perfect! Right on the beach with very few people. Private. It was exactly what we had in mind! Reverend Joe was fantastic! He seems to really love what he does & it showed so much in his ceremony. It felt authentic & really personalized just for us. At the end of the ceremony he gave us some printouts of what was said at the ceremony & it meant the world to us for him to take the time to do that! He was amazing & we will definitely never forget him! Frank was amazing as well. He took a ton of pics & we just received an email with all of them yesterday. He was kind enough to ask if we had anything in mind picture-wise that he hadn't taken yet. Asking our input was really nice! There is absolutely nothing we would have changed. My then Fiance and I live in Oregon and wanted to do a quick and beautiful wedding ceremony on the beach. I came across Shasta's website and decided to take a chance, and I am beyond happy I did! Joe Miles (the officiant) was OUTSTANDING. He made the ceremony feel so special and unique to us, he even brought us a gift to our hotel a few days after our ceremony because he was unable to print it off at the time. Shasta responds very quickly, and answered any and all of my questions ranging from how long the ceremony will last to what hotels are best to stay at as I had never been to Maui before. Frank our photographer was great, he was so much fun and our pictures are breath taking. Over all the experience far exceeded our expectations.

We were travelling from the UK and at first I was wary of arranging our wedding through the internet but Shasta soon put me at ease. She responded to my emails promptly and helped with any queries I had. We arrived on Maui and I made contact with Shasta to go over the wedding arrangements. Our wedding day arrived and it was the most perfect wedding, it went beyond our expectations.... I had requested for my hair to be styled and Shasta recommended Jackie who arrived dead on time at 7.15am as we were having an early morning wedding. She was lovely and put me at ease straight away. We arrived at the beautiful Makena Cove and our Officiant arrived, Rev Joe. He is just the sweetest man and it wouldn't have been the same without him. The ceremony was perfect, not rushed and the words were heart felt. Our photographer was a young man called Frank and again he was very friendly, professional and put us at ease. He has taken some amazing photo's for us that really capture all the emotions of the day.... Maui Weddings from the Heart was the right choice for my wedding vow renewal. I surprised my husband with a sunset renewal on Maui for our 20th anniversary.
Shasta Rose and her team of professionals exceeded by expectations in every way!
Dee Jay did a terrific job on my hair and makeup.
The sunset location at Makena Surf was secluded and incredibly beautiful.
Reverend Joe was warm and sincere, he made us feel comfortable right away. Our ceremony was meaningful and special.

Our situation was a little different - we've been together for 8 years and both of us married before but decided at the last minute (literally) to 'tie the knot' while in Maui on a pre-planned vacation. I gave Shasta less than 3 days to find an officiator, a great location and to set up the license appointment. She did a fantastic job. I loved the Reverand Joe, we ended up on a deserted beach (well, almost) just as the sun went down and the license went through without a hitch. WELL WORTH THE MONEY. Thanks Shasta!

We are so glad that we used Maui Weddings from the Heart and worked with Shasta Rose. We couldn't have been happier with our wedding location and how smoothly everything went. We loved Joe Miles and thought that he made us and our guests feel totally at ease and welcome. Charles, Sean and Bette were also terrific. We just had to show up and everything unfolded.

Shasta gave my office a recommendation of Merriman's for a gift certificate. Merriman's was a delicious and scenic choice. When we arrived, we observed two weddings taking place at Ka'anapali Bay and one taking place at Merriman's! When I took a restroom break, there was a third wedding taking place at Ka'anapali Bay. It only made Bill and me thank our lucky stars that we were able to have our wedding at Makena Cove, thanks to Shasta's recommendation.

My wife and I are very happy to have Shasta as our wedding planner. everything was planned very well and went well perfectly. Joe, Jessica, Ginny, July, Kevin, Andrea, Beth, Amanda, who are our minister, photographer, musicians, videographer, and coordinators during our wedding, all of them are genuine, patient, professional, and dedicated to our wedding. Of course all these would not work without great planning.

I was a bit skeptical about hiring a wedding coordinator that I never met to plan my Maui wedding.Shasta worked extremely hard to meet all of my fantasies in making William and my day outstanding.
The limousine service was elegant and stocked with all kinds of goodies. The driver was professional and polite the entire trip to Po’olenalena beach and to dinner under the stars. Reverend Joe was just as I pictured him and he had the type of personality as if he never met a stranger in his entire life. Thanks for everything Reverend Joe, especially the artwork that he designed himself. William and I had cake and sparkling cider on the beach. The cake and the bouquet were beautiful. We felt like a king and queen that entire afternoon. We indulged in the dove and butterfly release and it was so neat how the butterflies clung on for most of the event. It was almost as if they were trained to do so. It created some fantastic pictures and stories William and I will tell forever.
The photographer (Frank) took so many pictures and remained focused on making this day awesome during a part of dinner. Thanks Shasta for that addition. The videographer (Brian) was patient and understanding that I had left the CD of the music at home and that I would mail it back to him. I can’t wait to see what magic that he pulls out of his hat. The hair stylist (DeeJay) was incredible. She styled my hair, fixed my headpiece into place, assisted me with dressing for my big day, and took many pictures of the bride and groom before the wedding. She was like the sister that I never had. Thanks for everything and everybody that working together to make our day one in a million!

After extensive research we chose Maui Weddings From The Heart and we are very glad we did! Shasta organised everything perfectly and was very quick to respond to any queries we had. The service in Makena Surf Beach was wonderful and Rev Joe was superb. Sean the photographer was also great and the Sedan travel was organised very easily and there were no issues with timings at all. We are based over the other side of the world in the UK so it was strange having to arrange all these things so far away in a place we were not familiar with but Shasta did it all perfectly, and it must be added at a very competitive price too.

Hiring Shasta and her team was the best thing we could have done! She planned my whole wedding right down to the details - I was the most carefree bride ever. When I was first looking at a destination wedding and the many companies, Shasta's website stood out the most to me. It was more professional looking than the rest and I am a tough critic because web sites are my day-to-day job! I picked the right person for the job! Shasta arranges everything for you - all you do it pick colors and locations. It is that easy to work with her. Her staff are all very professional and easy to work with. The wedding was beyond our expections and I can't recommend Maui Weddings From the Heart enough! Can't wait to do our 10 year vow renewal with them!

Everything was just perfect. It was such a relaxing day. I had nothing to worry about, as it was all taken care of for me. Shasta arranged for Jackie Cavallo to do my hair. She did a great job, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. My flowers were perfect, as was the wedding site. Rev. Joe Miles did the ceremony and was fantastic. We will never forget him. Our photographer was Frank Baranik. He was amazing and took beautiful shots--truly stunning beach photos. Overall, I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you Shasta for arranging a beautiful, stress-free wedding in paradise.

Hi Shasta,

The vow renewal ceremony was everything I thought it would be and so much more. Bette was fabulous in making sure everything ran smoothly. Frank, the photographer, was more than gracious with the number of pictures he took to capture every moment and emotion between my husband and myself, along with the emotions of my daughters and their husbands. I just had an opportunity to look at the pictures Frank took. I was brought right back to the ceremony, emotions and all. Reverend Joe, well what can I say about Reverend Joe. He set the tone and the mood for our ceremony. He was so humble and gracious, spoke from the heart to me, Bruce, my daughters and their husbands. He spoke to us like he was like an old friend who knew just what it means to be married for 35 years to your soulmate. Reverend Joe's message touched our hearts. The additional mementos he created and gave us as a remembrance of our special day was extraordinary and unique. The Makena Cove site was outstanding, exactly how I pictured it to be. Shasta, everything was perfect... from the sand between our toes to the sun up above and everything in between. Thank you for coordinating this event for us. Bruce and I will be forever grateful...

Everything was above and beyond what we expected for the wedding. It's a bit nerve wrecking to put your trust in somebody that you connect with through a website that you've never heard anything about, but Shasta was amazing the entire time leading up to it and the vendors were supportive and made the process painless.

Andrea, the day-of ceremony coordinator, was there early, even though we were there early, and was so relaxing. She did a great job directing everything smoothly.

Frank did a great job with the photos and we actually received the CD of photos by the time we returned from Maui. They are beautiful! He did a excellent keeping us smiling, even though it's hard after 700 pictures!

The highlight is unequivocally Minister Joe Miles. He fit in with our group seamlessly and put everybody at ease and in a relaxed, pleasurable mood. He was so passionate and so in touch with what he was saying that it really made the ceremony special. He also gave us a little packet of the ceremony script on monogrammed paper, a beautiful Wordology photo representing the ceremony, and a decorative marriage certificate. I can't put into words how much he helped in making the day special and unique.

We really loved every moment of the wedding planning and ceremony, especially since Shasta worked so hard to make everything come together. We even used Elly's to do a same day steam press of my dress and it came out beautifully.

Maui Weddings From The Heart organised our wedding vow renewal, it was fantastic.
Shasta is wonderful, professional and offers a brilliant service from start to finish.
She is very easy to contact and replies with immediate responses even with the time difference between Maui and the UK. We organised everything via email and just turned up on the day with everything ready for us.
If you are thinking of renewing your wedding vows this is definitely the service to use and a fantastic location. Shasta also organised for my hair and make-up to be carried out in our room and Deejay supplied flowers for my hair.
Our service was carried out by Rev Joe, and it felt very personal to us. The photography was extremely professional and Frank made us feel very at ease.

Maui Weddings from the Heart was a true blessing. Not only did they coordinate all the day of events, including the marriage certificate appointment, they also connected us to other activity planners on the island for the other days of our stay. Our photos were AMAZING... Shasta was so easy to work with, the day was beautiful, the location was quaint/quiet and the reverend's service was extremely memorable. I have never felt to beautiful.

Shasta was fantastic! She took care of every detail. We were scheduled to have a beach wedding but it was raining that day. Without skipping a beat Shasta had a back up plan and we were married inside at a beautiful courtyard at a nearby hotel she does business with. After that we were able to take fantastic photos at the beach. Shasta makes wedding planning easy and stress free!!

Shasta responded to each and every one of my numerous questions and eased all of my worries and concerns. Shasta referred me to DeeJay, a hair and makeup consultant that came to our condo to get me ready for our big day. DeeJay did a wonderful job and I could not have asked for more! The ceremony was picture perfect! Pastor Joe and videographer Brian treated us like we were long time friends and made our day the most memorable. Since our wedding was only the two of us, all our family and friends were able to view the ceremony on-line. Our wedding pictures and video are excellent quality and truly captured the moment. This past July my husband and I got married in Maui. It was the best experience we could have ever hoped for, and a large part of the experience included Shasta. At first I was hesitant to go online and choose a wedding planner. I originally had picked another wedding planner, but as the date got closer, this wedding planner stopped taking my calls and waited days to call back. About two weeks before our wedding we had to make decision. Did we want to go with a different planner? The answer was Yes. We read “Maui From The Heart” testimonials and something just felt right. When we arrived on the island, Shasta gave us several calls and was always readily available to talk about any items. On the day of our ceremony we felt stress free because Shasta had done everything. Our minister Joe was phenomenal, fun and charismatic (we are adding a photo of him in our wedding book). The last think I want to share is the quality of the photography done by Shasta. There are lots of places on Maui that offer photography packages, but from what I had sampled was not the best quality for the price. Shasta is a very talented photographer, and she really places a lot of interest and focus on producing the best pictures possible for you. My husband and I could not be happier with the pictures and photos we received from Shasta. I highly recommend if you are wanting to say “I do” on Maui, let Shasta and her team help you!

I did not have time for planning many logistics beyond hotel, the plane + the dress but wanted something special, natural, elegant in its simplicity for our wedding - two "seniors' who've been married before. I picked Shasta because I liked her website and the text of the ceremonies by Rev. Joe Miles. Everything went like clockwork - because Shasta knows what she is doing. Her beach location was spot-on for us. Directions and details all covered. Importantly, the photographs are stupendous. Every young girl in my circle of friends + family has declared, on viewing the photos, that she too will marry on the beach in Maui. And we'd like to do it again also. Every year.

Our entire experience with Maui Weddings from the Heart and Shasta Rose was terrific and we plan to have her plan and conduct our 5oth Wedding Vow Renewal in 12 years for our 50th. I'm sending along comments I previously made for 4 web site reviews.
Vow Renewal Ceremony

Our Vow Renewal Ceremony was held in the Makena area of South Maui at Po’olenalena Beach on April 21, 2011. I selected “Maui Weddings from the Heart” to plan and conduct our ceremony. This was a total surprise for my wife and I found their web site from a link on a Maui Golf website I was reviewing prior to our trip. I studied three different companies for this event but selected Maui Weddings from the Heart after analyzing all three. The pre-planning conducted over the phone with Shasta Rose as well as via e-mail was very helpful. She advised me as to attire that would work best and what not to wear, the beach location, time of day for the ceremony, type of ceremony, flowers, etc. We were also in contact re: type of Lei that would work best and other details. After the ceremony, Shasta gave us a recommendation for a romantic restaurant for our celebration dinner.

The directions that she sent to me on how to find the particular beach were terrific. The minister was absolutely perfect for our ceremony. He was of Hawaiian decent which is what we preferred and did a wonderful job. His preparation for the ceremony was terrific. We had chosen a non-religious ceremony and Pastor Joe was incredible. Once we returned to Oregon, we wrote a personal letter to Pastor Joe with our deepest regards for his ceremony.

The picture taking process was very well done and very professional. Shasta was extremely good at getting the proper views to capture the moment along with the beautiful sunset that was occurring.
Our pictures arrived by e-mail about a week ago for us to make our selections. We have e-mailed the link to many friends and family members for their comments and response with wonderful comments. Personally, we are very impressed with the photography that was accomplished and have e-mailed our selections for the final product to Shasta Rose. The e-mail traffic between Shasta and me has been very quick and she has responded to all of my requests and comments quickly.

A good friend of ours from Washington state has requested information re: our experience and recommendation, as they are going to be flying to Maui next year for their vow renewal on their 40th anniversary. I have sent this couple the web site information for Maui Weddings from the Heart, as I would recommend this company to anybody wishing to renew their wedding vows. The overall experience for this event was amazingly easy, thanks to Shasta Rose.

I know it's a bit nerve racking when you are planning a wedding, especially when it's a destination wedding far from home. But, you can't go wrong with Shasta and Maui Weddings from the Heart. Shasta took care of everything. Our nervousness faded away as soon as we arrived to our wedding location and we were met by the exceptional vendors/team that she selected for us. Each one of them made our day feel extra special and we are thrilled with the outcome. Shasta was easy to work with. There was an oversight that I caught regarding hair and make up. When I brought it to her attention she found me an artist and assured me things always work out and these oversights always get found out before the wedding. While I'm glad, I did not want to be the bride who doesn't have hair and make up at 12 o'clock on her wedding day. Also, our minister changed several times with us eventually using the original one she planned for us. But again, it was my catch. Everything did work out, but I didn't quite feel I could let my guard down and trust Shasta 100%.

I would definitely recommend Shasta and her team! Shasta was responsive and easy to work with. Rev. Joe performed an awesome ceremony. Pictures from Frank were beautiful.

Shasta at Maui Weddings from the Heart was great - friendly, competent and efficient. We had a very simple ceremony and Shasta understood our needs and provided exactly what we wanted. The best part of our Ceremony was Reverend Joe. He was AMAZING. A wonderful, kind man whose words and blessings were beautiful and perfect for the occasion. Highly recommend!
