Words cannot express how unbelievably grateful we are to Alyssa and the Maui Love team for being the best planning team we could ever dream of for our destination wedding in Maui! There are so many factors to consider when selecting your planner. My Husband and I had 4 consultation calls with different companies in Maui and right after we hung up the phone with Alyssa, we knew she the one! We booked a trip to Maui to look at venue locations in person and Alyssa organized 8 different venue tours with us from the south side to the west and was there with us every step of the way which was unbelievable helpful! From day one she made us feel prioritized and like she genuinely cared about our Wedding Day and making it catered to our individual vision and dream. She is an expert in her field and her enthusiast and caring nature shines through!
We had an unforeseen turn of events when we had to postpone our wedding by nine months due to the fires in August 2023. Alyssa was instrumental in this even being a possibility. She went above and beyond to reach out to all of our vendors and venue to find a new date and supported us through any re-planning that was needed. We will be forever grateful for that!
Our new Wedding Day, May 7th, 2024, was everything we could have dreamed of and more and it would not have been nearly as magical without Alyssa and the Maui Love team! My Husband and I were able to be fully present on our day and enjoy every moment to the fullest because we knew all the execution was being handled to the highest of standards. So many of our guests have told us that it was the best Wedding they have ever attended, and we have Alyssa and the team to thank for that!
Any couple would be incredibly lucky to work with this team we cannot recommend them enough. We will cherish our time spent planning our special day with you and are forever grateful to you for the best day of our lives! We don’t even know where to start because we love Britt SO much!!!
I’ve been dreaming of my wedding day since I was a little girl, so this was a really big deal to me. I was committed to finding the right wedding planner for us. My now-husband and I had various consultation calls with planners (all wonderful people!) on O'ahu before we reached out to Maui Love Weddings. From the moment we got on the first phone call with Brittany, I knew she was the one! We’re both Maui girls, and so we connected right away—I knew having a planner from another island was going to add a bit more to the budget but I just HAD to have her as my planner. (I am very blessed to have an understanding and loving husband lol!)
Brittany and the Maui Love Weddings team worked with us for over a year to bring my dream wedding to life. When my perfectionist self would start to feel the pressure and stress, Britt would remind me that she was there for me to lean on. She was with us every step of the way, handling everything that we threw at her with such grace and expertise, from the big-picture planning to the tiniest details.
The Maui Love Weddings team flew in from Maui to Oʻahu to help us have the best day ever, and they truly delivered. Brittany, Alyssa and their team have a gift for understanding a couple’s vision and turning it into reality. Every detail of our wedding reflected us—it felt so personal, so magical, and so perfectly “us.”
We didn’t have to worry about a thing because Britt had it all under control. She kept everything feeling light, bright and so full of aloha, allowing us to focus on celebrating with our loved ones.

When my now husband, Bryan, and I were originally looking for a wedding planner, the most important things to us were strong communication since we would be planning a Kauai wedding from New York and finding people who we trusted and felt comfortable with. We interviewed several wedding planners, but we absolutely loved our initial conversation with Brittany from Maui Love! Her warm and welcoming nature along with her extensive knowledge of wedding planning and the Hawaiian Islands were exactly what we were looking for. Additionally, she was extremely quick to follow up on action items from our initial call.
After locking in our contract with Maui Love, we got to work! Brittany built us a personalized Google Drive with a survey to understand what our dream wedding included, several instructional documents, budget and personalized item trackers, and lists of preferred vendors. Coming from a project management background, I was in love with the attention to detail. Initially, we relied mostly on written communication, but about 8-months out from our wedding, we set up routine virtual meetings.
I would be astonished if any wedding has ever been planned without a few speedbumps. Our first speedbump was a delay in our wedding venue’s opening, which got pushed out to just a week before our wedding date. Bryan and I were both amazed at how Brittany took charge of the situation. She set up bi-weekly calls with the venue to get status updates on construction and asked questions that we would have never thought of. She built out contingency plans and helped us remain calm throughout it all. During this time, Brittany began transitioning in a team member, Alyssa, to assist with the planning. Brittany and Alyssa worked as a team to lock in all of our preferred vendors and helped us negotiate down many of the proposed vendor costs. They were truly the dream team!
A year of planning flew by, and when we arrived in Kauai a week before our wedding, we got to enjoy a stress-free week with our friends and family thanks to our phenomenal planning of Maui Love. But alas, one final speed bump hit us with full force. Kauai had massive storms leading up to our wedding day, and our ceremony and reception were both planned to be outdoors. Alyssa found out two days before our wedding day that the service road leading to our venue was inaccessible due to the heavy rain, so our reception tent could not be delivered. This meant that our reception could no longer be outside. Before raising this issue with us, Alyssa and the hotel came up with a full contingency plan and presented it to us in a way where it came across as a positive change. After digesting the news, our one wish was that our ceremony remained outside, and it was clear that Alyssa was going to make that happen no matter what.
Fortunately, the sun came out on our wedding day, and everything was absolute perfection. Our wedding party and guests were so amazed by the seamless transitions throughout the day and the outstanding organizational skills of the Maui Love team. Bryan and I were even able to take a mid-morning nap the day of our wedding because of how confident we were that Maui Love would pull everything together.
Over the past year, Bryan and I learned that there is so much more than goes into planning a wedding than we could have ever imagined. Brittany, Alyssa, and their team know exactly what it takes to create a wedding that is comparable to a piece of art. They always knew the right questions to ask and were on top of every issue that arose, which took most of the stress off our shoulders. We could not recommend anyone more highly for planning a wedding than Maui Love! We will miss our frequent calls with them, but we know that they will always be our ohana.

Planning a destination wedding is not an easy task alone. I highly recommend Brittany and her team! Everything went seamlessly from the beginning until the end. I loved every minute working with her. She created my dream wedding when I only provided her with a few photos form my half made Pinterest board. She made Maui Magic!! I want all my friend to get married in Maui just so they can work with Brittany and Alyssa. They became family working together for the last few months. So bittersweet to say bye. A hui hou ! -

Oh man, where to even begin! From initial planning, to having to move the date because of the pandemic (TWICE!), to finalizing details, to making custom décor, to organizing vendors and payments, the team was just incredible. Our day was absolutely gorgeous and we got so many compliments on how great everything looks and how smoothly everything ran. Alyssa and Brittney are consummate professionals and I could not recommend them highly enough. -

We were one of those hapless couples who had planned a wedding for the Fall of 2020. Obviously, that didn't happen as the global pandemic hit and we were forced to postpone to early summer 2021. Honestly, it came out better than we ever could have planned and that's all due to the amazing coordination and guidance of Alyssa with Maui Love Weddings.
Wedding planning, without a pandemic looming in the background, is already stressful enough, but working with Alyssa made it all a breeze. She is so easy going, calming, and so full of positivity and beautiful ideas that we are in utter shock that we pulled off the wedding that we did with the budget that we had set for ourselves. She listened to our needs, got to know us and most importantly, every single vendor we worked with also let us know how highly they thought of Alyssa and how much they enjoyed working with her and each other. She handled every communication, followed up on everything and thought of every minute detail that we didn't even stop to think of. Little things that make all the difference in look and feel. Most importantly, I had really wanted an authentic Lichon (roasted pig) at our reception to represent my Filipino heritage. Alyssa was able to negotiate everything and make sure that it was there for our guests! It was truly a highlight for us and our little group of foodie friends and family.
It truly felt like our wedding was coming together with a real community; a real Ohana. Thank you, Alyssa, for giving us the wedding of our dreams!! -

Brittany and Alyssa were absolutely great to work with. We had to plan a wedding in very little time and had to do all of it over zoom and email. The planning was effortless for Blair and myself and the outcome was incredible. On the day of the ceremony everything went flawlessly and we were both able to actually enjoy the wedding, something my married friends have said isn't always possible.
Brittany and Alyssa are detailed, organized, stress-free, and obviously know the Maui marriage scene very well. We were both super pleased with every vendor choice we made and were both so happy to we had these two experts guiding us through the whole planning/execution process.
Blair and I both wholeheartedly recommend choosing Maui Love for your wedding planning needs. Thanks for everything Brittany and Alyssa!

Maui Love Weddings Review
Where do I start with how amazing Alyssa and Brittany are? Planning a destination wedding (without seeing anything in person ahead of time) and during COVID initially felt like a double whammy- until I met the amazing ladies of Maui Love. Although we did a smaller wedding with only our immediate family, there were still so many decisions to make and I felt overwhelmed at times. Not only did they provide consistent updates, answer my hundreds of questions and provide solid vendor recommendations leading up to the wedding, but went over and beyond on our big day. Every detail was covered and they were so adaptable when I asked for minor changes. When my new husband and I were taking pictures on the rocks of the Cliff House, he looked at me and said "this day exceeded our expectations". And this was before our reception even started! I can say without any hesitation that this wouldn't have been possible without my Maui Love crew. I highly recommend this dream team! -

Jen and I would like to thank MauiLoveWeddings (Alyssa & Brittany) from the very bottom of our hearts for making our elopement absolutely perfect. The time and effort they took in order to plan everything for us was incredible. They were welcoming to plan conference calls with us at odd hours due to the five (5) hour time difference between New York and Hawaii. All the details such as venue, flowers, transportation that Jen and myself were nervous about, Alyssa and Brittany took care of and the day of the elopement went off without a hitch.
They even drove all the way to the top of Haleakalā and scouted out the area before we made it there ourselves to exchange our vows. And although the weather conditions weren’t great, Brittany and Alyssa found the perfect spot for us to exchange our vows, take photos and do most of the shooting for our wedding video. Those wind gusts were no joke along with some rain, Alyssa and Brittany were there through the whole thing.
They were by Jen’s side through the entire proceedings and made sure she was 100% comfortable and ran every decision by her before pulling the trigger.
We can’t express enough gratitude for all their patience and hard work. Maui Love Weddings is such a fantastic group of women and they honestly don’t get enough credit for their hard work. PS they also have phenomenal recommendations of where to eat & drink while on the islands. Mahalo ladies! -

Dream Hawaiian wedding coordinated by MLW!
Brittany and Alyssa helped coordinate our dream Hawaiian wedding on Maui. We were extremely pleased with the team's flexibility when it came to a number of our requests, and they were simply amazing day-of coordinators. We had a few speed bumps in the prior months during the planning process, but it all came together in the end and we had a 5* wedding!
Pros:
- Amazingly flexible planners who will work with the couple to meet their requests
- Has relationships with all the key local vendors
- Very knowledgeable in terms of what's feasible on-island and what's not. Also knows about different vendors' inventory list off the top of their heads!
- Allowed us to ship our supplies and necessities to their address before our event - critical for an island wedding!
- MLW is great if you are working on a budget and can take point on to-dos like vendor comms and sourcing
Cons:
- Sparse communication / felt a bit unsupported in the early/middle planning months; most of MLW's time and attention on our event happened in the final month
- We felt we had to take extra steps to manage and keep track of all the moving pieces -
