  For our wedding, it was really important to have really amazing photos. We had looked through Matt Pools galleries online and were really impressed by the quality and his more candid style so we reached out to him via email to set up a meeting. He was fairly quick to respond and great to meet in person, he brought sample albums and answered all of our questions, we were pretty much sold after the first few minutes. Matt did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos, he was really easy-going and got some amazing shots of us, he helped guide us through posing but mostly encouraged us to be natural and relaxed; we got our engagement pictures within the proposed time frame and he was very good about keeping us posted on progress.
  Leading up to the wedding, Matt was super helpful and responsive, he checked in with us periodically, answered any questions and generally offered up any help that he could, he was particularly helpful with creating a day of timeline. On wedding day, he was on time and immediately went to work. Just as with our engagement photos, he was really easy-going and just fun to work with. It ended up raining quite a bit but he stilled got amazing photos of us outdoors, we really appreciated how much he was willing to brave the elements. We received our digital gallery within our contracted time and he was extra diligent with keeping us posted, we never once had to reach out to him first for updates. The pictures themselves were beyond amazing, we were blown away by how incredible everything looked, rain and all, it was more then we had hoped for and we were so excited to buy prints and eventually get out album.
  Overall Matt was great to work with; he is incredibly talented and professional and I would recommend him to anyone.

  Matt was our photographer for both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with his photography and service.
  
  For our engagement shoot, he went above and beyond the call of duty and followed us on a snowy day to capture us backcountry skiing! The photos turned out great (especially considering the tough lighting during a stormy day) and they were given to us in several different formats, making it easy to share with friends and family.
  
  For our wedding, Matt showed up early to capture photos of the venue and get familiar with the space. While taking family photos, Matt calmly organized different family shots and gave us all the direction we needed without making us feel overly posed. For the candid shots of the wedding, he was able to capture the feel of our wedding and our personalities perfectly. Similar to our engagement shoot, Matt shared the photos in several different ways (online, blog post, and CDs) making it easy for friends and family to view and purchase individual prints.
  
  Matt pays close attention to detail not only in his photography and story-telling, but also in the logistical/administrative side of his work. I felt like he took time to get to know us well, which then translated into the photos. It was easy to communicate with him before and during the event, which meant we could relax more on our wedding day.
  
  All in all, we loved having Matt as our photographer and would highly suggest hiring him!

  Matt made me look even more beautiful than I felt on my wedding day. He captured moments at our wedding I didn't even realize were happening. What beautiful pictures to remember the day by.

  Matt did an amazing job with our wedding! We were so happy with how everything turned out. He has an amazing eye for detail and really knows how to capture the right angles and the best light. We ended up with photos that still amaze us nearly 4 years later! His knowledge of photography and overall creativity make his work unique and show-stopping—his website completely speaks for itself!
