    we had a large evening wedding. to cut the cost in half we could have had a daytime wedding. evening weddings are always more expensive. the ladies who helped me at the marriott were wonderful. i didn't have to worry about a thing. the contactd and organized my vendors and got me anything i needed.

    We had our rehearsal dinner at the Marina Kitchen balcony at the Marriott Marquis San Diego. The pros was it was a fantastic view and great priced food and the service of the staff was great coming up to planning the evening. The cons were the lighting on the balcony when the sun started to set was awful and did make for great pictures. Also I am unsure if the staff was used to having rehearsal dinners where there were speeches given therefore did not know how to lower the sound system at key points during the dinner. I would normally recommend this vendor to anyone having their rehearsal dinner - however there was a guest gift that I had given to the Marriott to put on the table for the dinner and they lost all the gifts. And ever since we have paid them they have released accountability for answering our requests to return the gifts or offering to provide a discount to the event due to this situation.
