Dream wedding comes true

The venue was clean and provided a calm atmosphere. The staff was friendly and professional. The food was delicious! I’d decide to do the plate menu options! Special thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Mariani for making my dream wedding comes true.

Utterly Wonderful and Highly Recommend

Mariani's Venue is a beautiful location for an event. My daughter's wedding was held in the back courtyard of Mariani's Venue on 11/23/19. The view was stunning with the fountain spraying water over the lake. Inside for the reception the indoor waterfall was soothing and added a great spot for photos in addition to the staircase leading from the mezzanine area. All of our guests loved the food and upscale atmosphere. Days later we continue to receive positive comments about the stunning appearance of the venue and the food. Mr Mariani is great to work with. He strives to reduce stress by anticipating ways to remove challenges that tend to be a part of event planning and hosting. He clearly explained the contract and there were no unexpected fees. His staff was also great to work with before and during the wedding and reception. I highly recommend Mariani's Venue for events.

I am very pleased with Mariani’s Venue. I had my wedding there June 30, 2018. The manager was very helpful and kind to me! We had a Cinderella horse carriage ride me into the wedding and it was the icing on the cake! I couldn’t of picked a better venue! The food is excellent! He lets you have full control of decorations. There is a cash bar available. I suggest getting the $25 champagne he has available for you and your wedding party! If you do get it, I promise you’ll want to get another bottle! That’s coming from someone that hates champagne. I fully recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in the Pembroke, NC area.

Mariani's Wedding Venue

Mariani’s Venue was the absolute best choice for our father's 75th birthday celebration. The owners are very accommodating and awesome to work with. The food was excellent, the staff was very friendly, and the hospitality was so warm and welcoming that all our guests had an exceptional time.

Beautiful, stress-free, delicious food, perfect!

I had my wedding at Mariani's and it was absolutely perfect. The staff was quick to serve our food, which was delicious! The bartender made our drinks perfectly. What blew me away was that the food was included in the price we paid! We couldn't find that with all the other venues we looked at.
We had our wedding outside in front of the lake which made for beautiful pictures. We had the option to hold it inside incase then weather was bad.
The whole process of paying and planning was flawless and stress free. Mr. Mariani was very quick to respond and answered all of our questions we had within just a few minutes!!
Mr. Mariani is a very sweet man and was running around taking photos of my wedding!! Which I think is awesome!
I recommend anyone planning a wedding to hold it at Mariani's.

I was just married here on Sunday and the venue is an absolutely gorgeous location! Outside is a nice patio like floor setting with flower plots, fountains and a lovely Arbor to be married by. The style is very romantic and I can't wait to see my wedding photos out there. Inside is spacious and Mr. Mariani is very helpful! The food was absolutely delicious, it makes me sad my dress kept me from eating too much. You can't beat the deal this location offers, I had an absolutely beautiful wedding here. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great event spot.

My sister enjoyed the food so much that she has tried to imitate the beef tips and figure out how to make the delicious hush puppy appetizers! She begged me to call the owner to see if he would fill me in on the secret recipes.

One of my coworkers comes into my office everyday and together, we relive our eating experience at the wedding reception. She suggested I talk to the owner to try and get him to pre-sell dinner tickets and maybe once a month he can host a dinner. Needless to say, the food was simply OUTSTANDING!!!! It's been over a month and my guests aren't talking about how beautiful the wedding was; they're talking about how delicious the food was!!!!!

My husband and I are already discussing the idea of hosting a one year anniversary dinner party there. Thank you to the owners of Mariani's for the wonderful dining experience!!!!!

Not only is the venue, the food, and the alcohol provided in one place it also won’t break your bank! The owner Mr. Marianni also helped and gave me a number for all the other vendors and they were a great recommendation. They provided the most delicious food, everyone still to this day talks about how amazing it was! They even surprised us with some hush puppies and they were delicious everyone loved them! The staff were amazing, always making sure everyone had everything they needed very attentive. I would 110% recommend this venue to anyone!

We used Mariani Wedding venue for my daughter's wedding on June 18/ 2016. The owners were very accommodating to all our requests. Our guests were impressed with the versatility of the indoor-outdoor space. We heard rave reviews about the food and the servers were very nice and efficient. "Amazing Wedding Venue!"
My husband and I chose Mariani's as our reception venue as well as the spot for our rehearsal dinner the night before (yes, that's how good the food is, we wanted it two days in a row) and we loved it! We couldn't have found a better spot. The inside of the restaurant has a warm and intimate feel, but has plenty of space as well. We were able to seat over 200 people and still had space for a dance floor. Aside from the inside of the building having some amazing features (waterfall, balcony with two grand staircases, etc.) the outside is wonderful as well. Personally, the patio area is my favorite feature. I loved that we were able to put games and activities outside so people were encouraged, aside from the dancing, to stick around and have a great time. The food Mariani's supplied for the reception was the best I've ever had at a reception, and I've gotten tons of compliments on it since the big day. The staff members were all extremely nice and helpful throughout the planning process as well as the reception itself. I can't think of anything I would have changed about the reception. It was incredibly convenient to be able to utilize the in-house decorator as well. Everything about the day was of the highest standard; from the food, to the venue and grounds, to the decorations. I highly recommend Mariani's Restaurant for any events you have coming up in the future!

Really regret having wedding here.

Didn't like how the owner was rude the day of the wedding, added little extras on for a cost (like the outside chairs and only telling us this a few weeks before the wedding), food wasn't that good at all especially for the price, was sexist (claimed that ironing was a woman's job), claiming we'd have tablecloths would be cleaned and steamed by the time we were there to decorate but they weren't. It took us hours to get the tablecloths wrinkle free with the iron (that we brought from home- didn't even have a steamer to use).

Hi Liza- We would like to send our deepest apologies on how you feel about Mariani's but I recall the day a bit different.

During the contract signing, we always mention that we have an arrangement with Just Ask Rentals on chairs. We understand that during the excitement of booking our venue and getting your wedding planning starting that details can sometimes be forgotten. That is why we do a gentle reminder a few weeks out.

In regards to the food- We offer a great meal at an amazing price point. It is rare that event venues offer catering, but we do, which is one of the reasons we believe in our success. Everyone loves our food. We have a planner/decorator that is used often at our venue and her staff FIGHTS over who can work the event because of how much they love our food.

To address the linens- NO decor is included in our rental, including linens. When a client or their family, which at your wedding was you, as the Mother of the Bride, handles the decorations we always go above and beyond. I'm not sure if you recall in all of the excitement of your daughter's wedding day, but I personally went and purchased a steamer for you to use when you did not come prepared with linens for your DIY decor.

We are saddened that you feel this way about Mariani's. We work hard for every client to have the best experience ever.
