As a wedding planner working with a client who had an incredible vision for floral design for her wedding, Mallory Joyce was instantly the designer that came to mind! From my initial inquiry to Mallory, she was prompt in her communication to reach out and schedule a call to better understand all the important things -- aesthetic, vision, budget, colors, etc. She knew all the questions to ask my client to put together the proposal of our dreams, and as we continued to flesh it out in the months leading up to the wedding, Mallory was super flexible and responsive and quick to offer incredible suggestions for consideration. On wedding day, Mallory (and her phenomenal team) OVER delivered; the florals were truly the star of the show! From the stunning bouquets and ceremony pieces and the stunning statement pieces at cocktail hour to the beautifully curated tabletop arrangements, Mallory was the perfect choice to bring my client's wedding dreams to life, and I'm so grateful we had the fortune of working with her! -

Mallory was an absolute dream to work with
Mallory was an absolute dream to work with. From the beginning she was easy to communicate with and presented us with descriptive design boards to bring our ideas together. As a March 2020 COVID bride, she was so supportive and flexible when we postponed our wedding 13 days before the big day. We worked together for nearly 3 years to bring our vision to life. Her design was the perfect combination of neutral, romantic, bold, unique - everything we asked for and so much more. She is so talent; she was so kind and genuine throughout the whole process. On my wedding day my bouquet brought me to tears and every last detail was executed perfectly. Truly a joy to work with and we feel so lucky. Would highly recommend Mallory! -

Mallory Joyce is simply the best!
Mallory is an absolutely dream and simply the best in the business! She is so gifted and such a kind soul! She was recommended to us by our our wedding planner for our Charlottesville wedding and we knew immediately that we wanted to work with her. Due to Covid, we had scratch our initial Charlottesville wedding plans and postponed our wedding to a different venue in Middleburg VA, a year later. Mallory graciously walked through and planned an entire design for both our initial wedding plan and then our Middleburg wedding a year a later. She completely transformed the location into the most beautiful garden inspired wedding. Of all the elements for our wedding day, flowers had the biggest impact and guests were complimenting the floral designs throughout the night. We still have family members and friends commenting on how beautiful the flower arrangements were at the wedding. The flowers were so beautiful I cried when I first saw my bouquet and the bridesmaids flowers. The level of detail and thoughtfulness she puts into her work is seriously incredible.
Although we were not there during the set up, we were told that Mallory and her team were working through very intense weather conditions (heavy rain and winds) to create the most beautiful floral designs all while pivoting last minute to an entirely new ceremony location due to the weather. Mallory, thank you for the most beautiful flowers and for your hard work and talent. We are beyond grateful!!! Such an honor to have you a part of our wedding day.

When our big NY wedding got cancelled, we decided to have an intimate family wedding instead. I really wanted the day to feel like my wedding and make it extra special. Mallory was the first florist/designer I reached out to, and she responded right away and blew me away on our wedding day! I told her I was dreaming of a vintage, elegant, farm style, summer vibe and let her run with it. All our floral arrangements were so unique and stunning -- everyone commented on how beautiful they were. Mallory designed our long dinner table with unique, beautiful place settings, vintage glasses & salt cellars, honeycomb beeswax candles, and elongated floral arrangements down the table runner. I was so thrilled with how it turned out, and Mallory was a joy to work with. She made my day easy, stress free, and fun! I cannot recommend her enough for your wedding day!! -

When my wedding planner first showed me floral designer to choose from, my husband and I didn’t even have a second choice. Mallory was the only right choice. Her floral pieces were all complete works of art. We came to Mallory with only small ideas of what we wanted and she ran with them in a beautiful way. When we told her we didn’t want an arbor at the end of our aisle, she dreamed up the most lush floral boxes to line the aisle that we were then able to recycle as reception decorations for some cost savings. One thing she did that I loved was a venue walk-through with us. We were able to visualize her ideas within the space. Mallory’s attention to detail goes far beyond color palate. She gives close consideration to textures, shapes, even the different vessels that would hold the flowers. Her pieces are all very natural and she sources blooms that I had never even seen before. Outside of arrangements, she crafted the most gorgeous wearable pieces – boutonnieres, flower girl flower crowns, and floral cuffs that had such reverent beauty to them. In the beginning, we had told her that our personal style was understated and natural and that we wanted to reflect the beauty of our venue in the Blue Ridge Mountains. She completely nailed that vision. -

Mallory Joyce is so talented, kind, and professional- which makes her the PERFECT addition to your vendor list. We worked with her for our wedding in November 2019 and was blown away by every part she had in our big day. She is talented beyond words with flowers and pulling a whole mood-board together. Most parts of our wedding design I had strong feelings about, but flowers was not one of them. I know NOTHING about flowers... but luckily she took the reins and delivered something out of my dreams, including perfectly recreating my mom's floral crown from my parents wedding in memory of my mom.
We cannot recommend her enough! -

Wedding guests are still commenting on the elegance of Mallory’s flowers for our son’s wedding (4 months later). She brought the vision to life and exceeded every expectation! We even decided last minute to have flower wreaths for the flower girls, and it was not a problem! Professional, elegant, friendly, beautiful quality florals, not to mention a pleasure to work with! Mallory and her team are second to none. -

Mallory was so great to work with. She had lots of good ideas and a great eye for design. I had no idea what my vision was for wedding florals so I gave her complete control over it. Everything turned out beautifully. Mallory was also very honest about ways that I could cut costs or re-use florals in different areas of the wedding. I would 100% recommend her for any event! -

She helped us navigate the early design/vendor booking process, kept us on track leading up to the wedding, and was crucial for the day of logistics! We were really able to be present & enjoy our wedding day, as we had full trust that Mallory & her team would handle any last minute concerns. Her design aesthetic was exactly what I'd envisioned, and she really helped us make everything come to life - even better than we could've hoped for! Courtney Sent on 01/18/2018We chose Mallory Joyce Design for our floral arrangements for our December 2nd, 2017 nuptials and couldn't have been happier with our decision! As soon as I spoke with Mallory over the phone for the first time, I knew she was the perfect choice to create floral arrangements for our wedding. She quickly understood my vision and knew what I wanted for the big day. When we had our first in-person meeting, I was even more impressed with Mallory's attention to detail, thought process and organization, and could tell that she was incredibly passionate about her work! Together, we went through a variety of pictures, pointing out what we liked and didn't like, and talked about a ton of flower options that we wanted to incorporate into our big day. It was an amazing working session with Mallory and made me even more excited to see everything come to life. Mallory was also incredibly patient with me - allowing me to add things into the contract, take them away, and then add them back in at the last minute! What Mallory designed for our wedding was beyond stunning - all of the floral arrangements were organic, loose, and whimsical - nothing short of spectacular. We had SO many guests tell us how beautiful everything looked and all we could do was agree! Mallory, thank you so much for making our wedding day so beautiful - you and your team worked incredibly hard to really make it a dream come true. We'll never forget it!

Mallory and her team were honestly more than I could have hoped for! She was able to incorporate so many unique and gorgeous flowers into our design, and the end result was exactly how I had pictured. From start to finish she was very responsive, and also easy to talk and collaborate with to ensure the overall “moments” created fell in line with the vision —and I fully trusted her to take the reigns on pieces I felt could use a second creative perspective. In short — she was the best, and I highly recommend! -
