We contracted Malleret Designs (Marcela Bogado) to assist us in transforming a venue that needed transformation. I was the project manager for our wedding, and I was very aware that I had to hire extremely competent and talented people to help me as I was planning this wedding from another city (Houston) while the wedding was in Austin, TX. My wife and I are an older couple (mid 50’s) that reconnected after 35 years since High School. As an older couple we have acquired a refined pallet through life experiences from wine, art, travel, and just experiencing the world. We opted for a very a modest venue so to not alienate our friends from 35 years past and to help make all our guests comfortable, yet we were having Justin Furstenfeld (Blue October) play for us and invited guests that would appreciate the refinement that a firm such as Malleret Designs could offer.. This venue needed lots of help to transform its modest décor to serene and uniquely beautiful backdrop for our special day. It required creativity and a strong network. Marcela Bogado was the right and only choice for us!
I write this review 6 months having a clear mind to look back at our special day. Marcela has such a talent for listening and understanding what we wanted. I remember the day she had the “aha” moment in understanding our energy and our pallet. She took it from there and hit the design from the beginning! We met to finally select materials to complete the picture and she provided excellent suppliers! We made very few modifications to her artistic approach to our design. Her design talent was clear and the only part left was the actual implementation.
Marcela and team were on site early and clearly communicated with us and the venue. The execution was flawless as I was there to do a final walk through. It took my breathe away as her vision came to a reality. As an experienced project manager, I could not have asked for a better design partner with such listening skills, creative talent, and focused execution to fully create a masterpiece. I am not easy to please, yet my expectations were over-exceeded. 6 months later and I feel stronger about Malleret Designs than that actual busy day. I cannot express my gratitude enough for all the RESULTS! I am in awe of Marcela’s work and if you want a strong partner to help with your special day, I strongly suggest you don’t risk it and simply put your trust in Marcela Bogado and Malleret Designs.

Marcela blew my vision out of the water! We reviewed inspiration images, my favorite flowers and colors and she ran with it. I asked for a lot of color and wasn't entirely sure how it would all look together, but Marcela made it all look so beautiful. She is very talented and knows what she is doing. I appreciated Marcela's attention to detail and she was overly communicative with me, to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend using Malleret Designs for any of your wedding floral needs! -

Marcela works so hard for you. From the initial consultation, she already had a full proposal with pictures to help us envision her interpretations of our wedding dreams. She is kind and open to help with whatever you need. She is firm and gets the job done efficiently. She's everything we needed for our day to come together. I almost cried while watching her design come to life on the wedding day. The flowers she used were immaculate (our guests took them home too!). Even with the flower shortage and my last minute request, she pulled together something that far exceeded my expectations. It was elegant, romantic, soft, and fluffy, just as I'd described to her all those months ago. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful and high-quality our wedding was. She is heaven-sent. I couldn't recommend her more if I tried. -

Working with Marcela from Malleret Designs was so easy and the result was stunning. I gave her a couple of pictures of floral arrangements that I liked and she was able to create beautiful pieces for our wedding. Her communication was timely and clear, and she was willing to make changes to fit our needs and budget without compromising quality or the final result. Malleret Designs completely exceeded my expectations. From the very beginning Marcela understood my creative vision. I wanted romantic/moody fall tones that also matched the elegance of our wedding venue. I had dreamt of my wedding flowers since I was a little girl and am happy to say that Malleret Designs made my dreams come true!
We also really appreciated her professional and attention to detail. She was thankfully able to accommodate last minute requests and changes too. Couldn’t have been any happier! -

One of the most beautiful parts of the wedding.
The flower design by Malleret Designs was truly one of the most beautiful parts of my daughter’s wedding. Marcela spent a lot of time with my daughter to understand her vision. Marcela’s strength is taking that vision and not only making it a reality but superseding expectations. Her floral design was exquisite and unique and abundant. The bridal/family table was the focal point of the reception. It featured gorgeous hanging florals that hung above the table of 14 people. It was truly breath taking. I highly recommend Marcela and Malleret design for florals that will surpass your every expectation.

Beautiful arrangements & excellent service!
Malleret Designs did an amazing job with the flowers provided at our event! Marcela arrived to our venue at the time requested and immediately began setting out all of the arrangements in their specified places without any help needed. The arrangements themselves were absolutely beautiful and were a perfect addition to our event. We will definitely use their services for our next gathering! -

Malleret is the best florist in Austin
Marcela did a wonderful job with the flowers for my daughter's wedding. It was far beyond what I expected. Not only that but, Marcela guided us and was very flexible and patient despite all the changes that we constantly made. Marcela is the best florist in Austin and I would highly recommend her to anyone. -
