My husband and I are so happy we used Lux Sucre Bakery as our cake and dessert vendor for our wedding! The entire team was a delight to work with and made our experience as easy as possible. Plus, it helps that the desserts were DELICIOUS! We had several of our guests come to us throughout the night saying how good the desserts were, which made us even happier. They also were able to make our wedding cake even more special by having our dog cake topper taking a "bite" out of the cake, which everyone loved! Thank you Lux Sucre for helping us on our special day! We will definitely be stopping by for more desserts soon :)Lux Sucre Desserts's reply:

Lux Sucre did a fantastic job with the dessert bar for our wedding this past June! We worked most with Brandon, and he was super helpful in deciding how much dessert to get and how to think about the appropriate distribution of dozens. They have a great variety of gluten free and vegan options, too, which we really appreciated for our diverse crowd.
When it came to the big day, I think somehow they outdid themselves from the tasting box we got— everything tasted even better than we remembered! We also popped for the set up and teardown services, which I nearly forgot to mention because it was so smooth. The spread was beautiful, to top it all off.
We ate the (very reasonable amount of) leftovers quite happily, and we’ve been daydreaming about going back to their bakery to get our wedding desserts take 2…

Our wedding experience with Lux Sucre was perfect. From the cake-tasting to the day of, we never had any concerns that Lux Sucre wouldn’t provide 110% on our big day. We received so many compliments from guests that our cake looked so modern and tasted divine. We used Luxe Sucre for our wedding cake and our dessert table, and we couldn’t have been happier with the way it all turned out! Brandon was so easy to work with, extremely professional and very prompt with responses. Because we live out of state, we weren’t able to book a normal tasting and Brandon was so helpful in accommodating us! We were able to come into the store on a different occasion and he took the time to meet with us and help us craft our own tasting experience.
We truly loved everything that Luxe Sucre did for our wedding! The setup at our wedding turned out amazing! We had Luxe Sucre set it all up for us with their stands and platters and it looked so great. The desserts were such a hit, our guests loved them all! And of course the cake looked beautiful and tasted amazing! I would suggest Luxe Sucre to anyone looking for a wedding cake and desserts for their big day!

Amazing desserts
I used Lux Sucre for my cake and dessert table at my wedding and boy did they deliver. The desserts were so good that they were basically gone by the time we cut the cake!Lux Sucre Desserts's reply:

The team at Lux Sucre is so personable and easy-going. The dessert tasting was one of our favorite experiences in the wedding planning process and memories we will cherish. We really wanted a dessert table and I had my "pinterest" vision- and Lux put that into reality. The aesthetics of the dessert table and our cake were exactly what I wanted. We would highly recommend Lux Sucre to provide your wedding cake! Most importantly, we and all our guests agreed that our cake was delicious, but also Brandon and the Lux Sucre team were very communicative and simple to work with. We had the opportunity to sample all their delicious options at the cake tasting, and then Brandon worked closely with us to find the option that best met our needs while staying within our budget (a large show cake and then sheet cakes in the pack). Delivery was on-time and they applied florals to our cake for free to make it a beautiful showpiece for our guests! Any wedding in Portland would do great to have a cake by Lux Sucre. We’ve been slowly chipping away at leftover frozen cake and it’s just as delicious weeks after ;)

Incredible Wedding Cake!
Cake was everything and more! Our tasting was so yummy and fun! Brandon & Chanelle were incredible to work with! I went in wanting a lime green cake, something different and fun and they blew our expectations out of the water. It was absolutely stunning and tasted incredible. They spice cake is to die for! My fiance and I are both so excited about hiring Lux Sucre! We went for a tasting a few days ago and the entire process was, without a doubt, the easiest process we've had with a wedding vendor so far. We worked with Brandon as we talked about our visions for our cake and dessert table, and he provided us with insight, knowledge, friendliness and professionalism. Everything we sampled was absolutely delicious and I'm still thinking about the pink champagne and chocolate/vanilla marble cakes we tried. If you're considering hiring Lux Sucre, you will have absolutely no regrets with your choice.

After your wedding, people frequently ask what was your favorite part or vendor. We were fortunate to have great vendors all around by Lux Sucre takes (but mainly gives) the cake! I knew after reviewing their social media galleries they would get the look we wanted (a glamorous, seasonal -but not Christmas-, glitzy, nontraditional, black wedding cake.) However, the reason why we chose them (and why you should too) is taste, taste, taste. We tasted 6 bakeries and they were the best. Their tasting menu is worth a trip in itself. I don't even have a sweet tooth but their baking is...elevated. Cake is moist but not dense with a nice, natural crust. Frosting is a perfect blend of sugar to butter and I'm assuming cream cheese (creamy but not dense, delicate and not a sugar overload.) Their cake is so good you don't even really need the frosting. The crowd favorite was the dessert table, which we elected to do a mini one. I am still getting comments on how good the macarons were. The dessert table was so popular, my husband barely got to try anything save one special macaron. Since we technically had a holiday wedding, and Valentine's day was our 2 month anniversary, we gifted each other some of our favorite things from our wedding. He gave me a bouquet reminiscent of my bridal flowers. I gave him all the macarons and dessert shooters from our wedding. I'm eating one right now and it's the best one I have ever had; cookie is crisp with a nice thin shell but also soft and chewy. The frosting is as described and there is a little dollop of raspberry jam.
Having a "show stopping cake or dessert table" can be an important decorative element to your wedding. Lux Sucre certainly can deliver. But if you want your guests to be blown away and compliment your style and more importantly, taste, pick Lux.Lux Sucre Desserts's reply:

Lux Sucre was one of our favorite vendors to work with during the whole wedding planning process. From our tasting to the wedding we have nothing but positive things to say about them. We had them make our wedding cake and provide small desserts for guests, and everything was perfect. Brandon and his wife are amazing!! From their cute bakery shop to the execution of the dessert table at the venue. Very professional, welcoming and our tasting was focused on our likes and dislikes. Their bakery felt like family, like I've known them for a long time. Their creations are tasty and amazing. We asked for a specific design and they went above and beyond!!! They took care of us from beginning to end. They were super friendly and their desserts were so delicious. I couldn't believe I found a place that had cake and dessert table. We went with both! The sample platters were beautiful when we went in for a tasting. When it was time for or desserts our family and friends devoured and and all we got was a little bit of cake. We though that we wouldn't get anything else from our dessert table. We had a two tiered cake and a ton of other dessert option. Tasty Treats
For our wedding (Aug 2019) we hired Brandon and Lux Sucre Desserts to provide our guests (~155) with a variety of tasty treats. Not only were Lux Sucre able to make a beautiful 2-tiered, delicious red velvet cake, but they helped us create a menu of other bite-sized options. Our guests LOVED the dessert shooters, brownies, mini tarts, and cookies! Lux Sucre came and set up everything for us using their beautiful trays and display pieces. Amazing and Affordable!
We got married in July 2019 and Lux Sucre was by far one of our favorite vendors to work with! From the very first email, Brandon was so personable and it was obvious he cared about making our day special. Our tasting session was incredible with an assortment of cakes, fillings, and dessert bar items. There was so much we even got to bring some home for our family to try! Our cake turned out exactly as we hoped, and tasted great too! I cannot say enough good things about the team at Lux Sucre and have already recommended them to many friends. Dessert Table of our Dreams!
It is hard to describe how passionate, professional and talented Chanelle and Brandon are, and how much they made our day even more special. The care they demonstrate for each and every couple is palpable when you work with them. Not only are they incredibly easy to work with, helping guide us through the whole process, but they were also incredible fun to work with during an otherwise stressful experience. I knew I was in good hands when I described my vision and saw the initial sketches of our cake design. Little did I know how much the beauty of the cake would exceed even my wildest dreams! To say they brought the vision to life is an understatement. They took care of the entire table set up, providing beautiful serving dishes, cake stands, and even individual to-go boxes for guests, creating a table scape fit for a magazine! Our dessert table by Lux Sucre was by far the most talked about part of our wedding reception. Not only was the cake and every single dessert mini DELICIOUS, but it was absolutely stunning, exceeding every expectation. We couldn’t have asked for more.
