Amazing Value -- Quality Service

I fully expected to be “out of my head crazy busy” planning my daughter’s wedding. Instead it was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life thanks to Kaeli. The entire process was wonderful because Kaeli has mastered the art of creating a beautiful event while being ever mindful and diligent about the budget.

Kaeli is the best!

Incredible! This is the wedding planner you want.

Our daughter and her now husband live in Chicago. We were all so excited about their winter wedding earlier this year. They both grew up near Ann Arbor, Michigan and wanted their “dream wedding” to be in this area since most of their friends and relatives were from this area as well. They wanted a unique, over-the-top with florals wedding--which is not easy to do in the middle of winter in Michigan. And obviously, planning a wedding from a distant city is not an easy thing to do.

After interviewing a number of wedding planners, they selected Kaeli and Luna Soiree Events after hearing Kaeli's name recommended from multiple friends and vendors--including the designers at Planterra, the venue they selected. Kaeli’s skill in coordinating and leading wedding efforts was impeccable and it allowed them to continue focusing on their busy careers, knowing the wedding planning was in good hands. Kaeli and her team helped select, coordinate, and design the guest hotels, transportation, rehearsal dinner, rehearsal, photo locations, ceremony, reception, Sunday brunch, and probably more that I'm forgetting! With Kaeli leading the way, they planned a wedding weekend that was creative, incredibly beautiful and meaningful to my daughter, son-in-law, and all of us. My wife and I provided feedback when asked, but mostly were able to sit back and enjoy the planning process and the weekend itself because Kaeli and her team were on top of everything and made it run smoothly.

Kaeli provided a comprehensive timeline, planning out the entire weekend down to the minute, which was so helpful to a detail-oriented person like me. And more importantly than that, the wedding was stunningly beautiful. Kaeli really brought the beauty and creativity to the rehearsal dinner at Vinology and the wedding at Planterra. She designed and created the entire rehearsal dinner from start to finish and worked seamlessly and tirelessly with Planterra's design team on the ceremony area, the reception area, the dance area, and the dinner area. This was my first of my children to get married and I was really nervous about how everything would turn out. I shouldn't have been. I was blown away! Everyone I talked to expressed how much they enjoyed the whole wedding weekend and were quick to point out that it was hands down the best wedding they had ever attended.

The credit for this wonderful wedding belongs to Kaeli Garcia and the Luna Soiree team. I recommend Kaeli so highly as a person, as an extremely competent wedding designer, who creates and brings beauty and uniqueness to each of her events, and as someone who will end up feeling like a friend to the bride, groom, and their families by the time the weekend is over.

Great experience with Luna Soiree!

Kaeli is hands down one of the most talented and professional people I've ever met. I started the wedding planning process without a very clear vision. I had a sense of what I wanted, but had the hardest time articulating it. Kaeli is truly an expert at her craft; she pinpointed my EXACT style and brought my blurry ideas to life. Kaeli has the most incredible connections in the wedding industry (I swear, she knows everyone!) and I found her advice to be incredibly helpful. She approaches her work with kindness, honesty, and a touch of humor (which is perfect on what could be a very stressful day!). From selecting the floral arrangements, to finding the perfect photographer, Kaeli was there for every meeting. Everything about the day and the planning process, from start to finish, was absolutely perfect. A year later, our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the ceremony and reception were! Kaeli and the Luna Soiree Events team are the best of the best. From the initial consultation, we knew that Kaeli was the right wedding planner for us. She was kind and engaging, and most importantly - took the time to get to know us. As we went through the planning process, Kaeli made my husband and I feel comfortable in every suggestion we made. She also recommended amazing vendors (and I would recommend all of them in a heartbeat), was mindful of our budget (and even saved us money in some areas!), and helped turn our rough thoughts into a cohesive, beautiful and unique vision. She also helped us quickly address an unforeseen scheduling conflic, which required us to switch our date and venue just a few months before the wedding, with ease.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I was often asked if I was stressed about the wedding. I honestly was not! Kaeli and her team were responsive to any and all questions my husband and I had. In addition, the LSE team handled every little detail - from corresponding with every vendor, to creating a detailed timeline for all of the set-up and tear-down.

All of this is to say - Kaeli and the LSE team created an absolutely perfect and beautiful wedding for my husband and me. Our guests repeatedly told my husband and me that the wedding was very "us," and it would not have been that way without Kaeli's innovative and creative vision, commitment to getting to know my husband, myself, and our families, and ample experience and exceptional reputation in the wedding planning industry. We would recommend Kaeli to anyone who is planning an event - in Michigan or afar. You won't regret it!

If I could describe Kaeli and her team in 3 words: PEACE OF MIND. Luna Soirée did a magnificent job from start to finish, making our day smooth, effortless and unforgettable.

Kaeli/LSE was instrumental in helping us build a vision, bring in vendors that would fulfill that vision and facilitating delivery on everything that was promised. Her guidance on florals in particular was life-(and money) saving. I gave her my vision and budget and she negotiated to get exactly what I wanted without spending the insane floral costs that some vendors proposed...I would have been completely clueless without her. Such a relief. From her quick decision-making, to giving candid feedback on some of our whackier thoughts, to negotiating with vendors and using her contacts to fill in the blanks, Kaeli literally was the glue that held our wonderful weekend together with dazzle.

Kaeli is everything you want in a wedding planner. Her patience, grace and relentless energy to pull off so many things at once (all with a smile on her face) was truly a marvel. She took charge when necessary and provided the much needed guidance to a bride who is eager to please all her guests! Knowing that she was in control the day of our wedding gave me (us) such incredible peace of mind, so I was able to enjoy the morning with much excitement and anticipation and did NOT have to be the point person for the many vendors trying to pull off a “glitch free” celebration. That stress-free morning alone was worth the value, and I encourage all brides to make the investment (for your sanity :)

Looking back, it was absolutely the best hire we made, which is no small compliment considering the team Kaeli helped us assemble.

Kaeli and her team were so wonderful - there aren't enough words to describe how grateful we are for their help! Kaeli understood my Type A personality needs and was able to help fill in the gaps with details I never would have thought of. On the day of our wedding I was so happy to relinquish control to Kaeli and her team and they did not disappoint! The day went off without a hitch and I could not have asked for better! We are so happy that we worked with Kaeli and the Luna Soirée team for our wedding! During planning, Kaeli helped connect us with reliable, creative vendors. Book Kaeli! She is amazing, has an incredible vendor list, she's confident, gives advice but knows when to listen. Her day of coordination for me was above and beyond! I had 4 venues (church, ballroom 1, ballroom 2 and a rented out bar) and all of my little details got moved and all of the parties involved in each were taken care of.

I would HIGHLY recommended hiring Luna Soiree for your wedding needs. We received the news that my father had stage 4 cancer and wasn’t given much time. We were able to book our event at the location we wanted but it was in less than 2 months. I knew we needed professional help. I reached out to Kaeli and immediately loved her energy and amazing ideas. We meet a couple of time to go over details and really felt like she and Kelsey were a part of our family. She is very responsive and good at calming a crazy bride-to-be down and has great attention to detail. When I showed up at the venue on our wedding day I couldn’t believe how beautiful her and her team made it. I am normally a very OCD person who has a hard time letting someone else take control, but I can honestly say I was absolutely relaxed the day of my wedding. She made sure everything ran smooth. She has lots of connections who were also amazing at helping make our day a little more special. She really knows what she is doing. I can’t thank them enough for not only helping make sure my husband and I had our dream wedding, but also that they pulled it off to make sure my father was able to walk me down the aisle. Having Kaeli and her team be our planners was one of the best decisions we made! I strongly suggest hiring Luna Soiree. They definitely know how to take care of their clients! Given the bride's (mine) strong willed nature as well as background in event planning, we needed someone who was equally strong of character, directed and determined, Luna Soiree led by Kaeli Garcia is just that person. This was a complex wedding with many moving parts including an early morning yoga practice, shuttle for wedding guests in three different hotels, a rehearsal dinner and wedding that was on the same day and area as an international soccer tournament and she was able to work out an agenda detailing all the parts and players. Kaeli's strength is in recommending the best vendors for you and your tempo and personality; designing and laying out the reception venue, and working with vendors to ensure execution. This was beautifully, amazingly done. WE did not purchase the full on package, but the mid package with additional wedding event coordination, however we believe if we had Kaeli would be able to organize and execute all tasks without fail. Other strengths include: Kaeli's ideas and insights into food for guest; understanding some of the nuances of wedding vendors and costs; communicating to wanton vendors and/or family members and ensuring when it comes to the wedding weekend that all things are in place including signage, gift bags, gifts, etc. Above all Kaelie is strong and focused,n and has a wide variety of collaborators and artists she can bring beautifully into the mix. This is really her strength...understanding one's vision and finding other to help craft and execute. Yea Kaelie!

Luna Soiree can execute! We had a 175 backyard wedding that went off without a hitch. The level of detail, effort and planning that Luna Soiree put into our event was above and beyond what we asked. For the detail control freak that I tend to be, deciding to work with Kaeli Garcia and her team from Luna Soiree Events, resulted in the single best wedding decision we made. Our daughter’s wedding day showcased the exquisite attention and consideration that LSE brought into every element of the event. From our first meeting that began with an instant connection to the last moments of the wedding evening, Kaeli and her team provided expertise and creativity in design, and support and management of every detail. She absorbed the words and wishes for it to be a free feeling boho celebration of love and created an evening that overflowed with that essence.

Her professional relationships with top vendors provided not only wonderful services but also connections with people who share her love of the industry who engaged in the excitement along with us. Countless times Kaeli offered ideas for and solutions to parts of the event we would have never thought of! Luna Soiree made the wedding process fun and the wedding day itself went so smoothly -- if there was a problem, I still don't know about it! Kaeli and her team at Luna Soiree were the biggest part of making my wedding a true success. From the get-go, Kaeli forms a friendship with her brides that goes beyond the pure business of planning an event. She takes the time to get to know you, and really tries to get a feel for the type of wedding that you're having so that it can be a perfect reflection of your spirit.
Luna Soiree's connections in an around the Ann Arbor area, and Kaeli's desire to go above and beyond our contractual terms, meant that I ended up with a slew of the most talented vendors that I have ever had the opportunity to get to know. She worked seamlessly with these vendors throughout the process, making initial contact and introductions, as well as helping along the way with any questions I had pertaining to those vendors. On the day of, she coordinated everyone's schedule so that all I had to do was show up, relax with a cup of tea, and slip into my dress right before the ceremony.
Throughout the whole day, Kaeli really made our wedding special. From making the suggestion to use my father's 1965 Ford Mustang as part of our entrance before he walked me down the aisle (how cool!), to showing up with surprise personalized Mr. and Mrs. cocktail glasses during our cocktail hour photo session, to staying all night to enjoy our live band - she really went above and beyond. At the end of the night, the team packed away our items and had them stashed in my mother's car before I even knew what had happened!
I really would not have had the wedding I did without Kaeli and her team at Luna. From day one I knew I was in good hands, but I never could have anticipated how incredible the day would turn out to be. It was beyond my expectations - and all thanks to these incredible women!

What can I say about these amazing ladies?! Kaeli and her team are absolutely amazing! Our lead coordinator, Emma, was out of this world! She contacted vendors, came to meetings with me, and made sure everything was perfect. Kaeli was there for day of coordination and made sure everything went off without a hitch! I didn't know until the next day that we had run out of ice and one of the kegs didn't work! She handled everything so smoothly! I can say without a doubt that our wedding wouldn't even have been half as perfect as it was without Emma and her amazing organization, patience and hard work. Kaeli and her team are so wonderful and did everything they could to make our day special. I am forever grateful to them for all of their hard work!

Kaeli and her team did a phenomenal job. Weddings are very complicated and there are hundreds of details. So, a day of coordinator for our wedding was not something we planned to have, but they were beyond worth it! At our initial meeting, Kaeli worked with us to find a package that would work with what we were looking for. She was always quick to respond to emails and easy to get in contact with. She sent us a minute by minute detailed day of list which was wonderful to have. Kaeli and Randi were our day of coordinators and were very on top of all that had to get done. They made our wedding very stress-free for my now husband and I, which is exactly what we were looking for. I highly suggest hiring Luna Soiree to all brides.

We absolutely loved working with Kaeli and her staff! We have said to many friends and family members that we couldn't (and wouldn't have wanted) to do the wedding planning process without her! We had already picked our date and venue along with a few other ideas prior to meeting with Kaeli, but her recommendations for vendors really made our event. We loved every single one she suggested, they were professional, creative, and executed every detail! We have already recommended her to friends who are engaged and looking for someone to help them along the way!

Specifically, Kaeli was a joy to work with! She brings great energy to every meeting. She did a great job managing my family members who wanted to be involved and working with our crazy work schedules. We have a very big and very traditional family, and Kaeli was able to help us incorporate the right amount our personalities while remaining traditional. She was so supportive and her knowledge of the industry and attention to detail made our wedding day flawless. She helped to make last minute changes possible. The week and weekend of our wedding, we were so much more relaxed knowing that Kaeli and her team had everything covered. We loved Kaeli and her team, I wasn't sure I really needed a coordinator and was pretty far into planning when I hired Luna Soiree so at first I was nervous about the investment. It was 100% worth it. Kaeli helped in so many ways, beforehand using her knowledge to remind me of things I needed to do, using her preferred vendors, asking simple questions that I did not know (never being married).....and then the day of. I never worried about a single thing, nobody asked me silly questions throughout the event and the evening went flawless. Once everything ended my family and I did not have to worry about any of the breakdown which honestly is not something you want to deal with at the end of the night. All of our items were neatly packed up for us to pick up the next day. It was perfect in so many ways and I have a lot to owe this team. One main thing that even stood out was when I arrived to the event Kaeli even made sure to grab me a drink. Super thoughtful and just a great experience all together.

Luna Soiree provided us with the best possible service you could ask for.
Our daughter and her now husband wanted an outdoor wedding at their home. We interviewed other event planners but didn't get that confident feeling we needed. A friend put us in touch with Luna Soiree. After my initial phone conversation with Kailee, I had the confidence that Luna Soiree would be able to do the job I was looking for. She and her team were always professional and personable. Even though we were a good distance from Ann Arbor, she always made it possible and practical for us to have face-to-face meetings. She and her team would ask pertinent questions and give us great advice without being controlling and letting us know this was our event and what we wanted was most important. They left no stone unturned!!
The day of our daughter's wedding went off without a hitch. From noon until midnight is a blur to me. Luna Soiree's team knew what we wanted, where things were, what time things needed to happen, and made the day successful beyond belief!
Many of our guests have said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. I don't know about that, but I do know that it was the wedding our kids wanted and Luna Soiree made it happen. If there is one thing I would do over again, it would be to hire the team at Luna Soiree -- the BEST money we spent!! Not only did we have a hugely successful party, but we have made some great new friends at Luna Soiree!!

My now-husband and I work insane hours, and I knew from the moment I got engaged that I would need a full-service wedding planner. Kaeli Garcia and the Luna Soiree team assisted me in planning my wedding to perfection from day one! I can be fairly indecisive (read: paralyzed by the overwhelming number of decisions one has to make about a wedding!), and Kaeli was always present with a helpful suggestion, recommended vendor, or pro tip culled from her extensive experience in the industry. At our first meeting (my husband and I "interviewed" a few planners prior to hiring Luna Soiree), Kaeli and I just "clicked." My husband knew that she was the one for us by noting how long our first meeting was (time flew by as we were on the same wavelength and already talking fabulous details!). Kaeli and her team were ALWAYS highly professional, available, kind, and patient throughout the year we worked together. She ensured that our wedding day was executed to perfection. Kaeli has an eye for detail, is extraordinarily creative, and has a wonderful way of understanding a bride's vision even if said bride (cough cough) is unable to articulate things well herself! On our big day, I cannot count how many guests commented that our wedding was the most gorgeous, smoothly executed, warm, and inviting wedding they had EVER attended. I was a bride to be planning from another state and Luna Soiree was an integral part of my planning process. Not only did they help me stay organized and on track, but they were always available for quick questions on how to execute specific things for my wedding day. They went above and beyond my expectations and on the day of they helped me stay on track with a timeline, which is super hard to do because guests will want to take pictures and talk to the bride and groom during the reception. At the end of the day I could not have had my perfect wedding without Kaeli and Randi. There were unexpected "mini fires" that happened the day before the wedding, such as the singing group who was supposed to sing canceling at the last minute and not begin able to come to the rehearsal, in addition to not calling me to confirm that they would sing for the wedding day. Before the evening was over Kaeli and Randi had a complete CD with all of the songs the group was supposed to sing burned onto a CD, in addition to providing an extra CD of wedding music for guests to be seated to. They also worked with the photographer to make sure we got this very specific wedding shot I wanted outside of Comerica Park with sparklers. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is playing a wedding and looking for someone who is dependable, organized, personable and will add a flair of elegance to your event. Anyone who attended my wedding can't stop talking about how well executed and classy the ceremony and evening was.

We decided to hire Kaeli and Luna Soiree when our DIY wedding was becoming too much for us to handle on our own. We opted for their day of wedding coordination, which included multiple meetings leading up to our wedding, rehearsal help, and all the set up and tear down on the day of the wedding. Kaeli also helped with linen, chair, tent rentals, and so much more. We really could not have done everything we envisioned without the help of Luna Soiree. This was by far the best money we spent! Kaeli Garcia (of Luna Soiree) is an amazing, fabulous, remarkable, stunning and extremely talented woman! She and her Luna Soiree team were absolutely extraordinary and made our wedding PERFECT! Kaeli worked with us to create a contract that was specific to our wants, so we could use her services exactly where we needed them most. She helped find all of our vendors and negotiate our contracts, saving us money and time. Every vendor, from the venue to the florals to the dress tailor, etc. were all AMAZING. We met throughout the months leading up to the wedding multiple times and kept in contact via e-mail and text. She fit our style to a T and created a cohesive, rustic, vintage, elegant atmosphere at Cottonwood Barn. Kaeli went above and beyond our expectations. The day of, she took care of everything --- set up, vendor confirmations, breaking down everything, making sure our guests were enjoying themselves, and every other little detail that is involved in such an elaborate event. As a bride, all I had to worry about was saying 'I do' and not spilling anything on my dress (oops, but she helped take care of that, too). We received compliments from every one of our guests about how perfect, beautiful, and fun our wedding was, thanks to Luna Soiree of course! If there is one piece of advice I will give to any bride, it is to hire a wedding planner and specifically to USE LUNA SOIREE!!!!

Kaeli was fantastic to work with. We found her website, among others, and she was by far the quickest to respond to our initial email. She has a great personality and worked with us to create a package that fit our needs. Our venue did not include any vendors and Kaeli gave excellent recommendations to local vendors in Ann Arbor. We were having a hard time finding a DJ in our price range and Kaeli was able to put us in touch with someone who offered great pricing for our wedding. She also handled the rentals for linens and chairs, etc. so I didn't even have to think about those details! The day-of coordination was extremely helpful. Kaeli and her team took care of everything and kept things running smoothly throughout the day. I didn't have to worry about any set-up or tear-down, and everything looked beautiful! So many little details go into planning your wedding and Kaeli was there to coordinate it all, and organize things I didn't even know would come up.

I had the great pleasure of working with Kaeli from Luna Soiree for my wedding in October 2013. I hired Luna Soiree for the "extended day of coordination" package. I would highly, HIGHLY, recommend Luna Soiree's service for every bride who wants someone on her side to take care of ALL the little (and the big) things on her big day.

Luna Soiree strives to make sure your wedding day is as stress-free as possible, and they really deliver. Even their pricing structure is low-stress! From start to end, Kaeli took great care of me. During planning, she was there to lend an experienced ear, touching base periodically, taking care of several services (above and beyond what I expected). She gives you such individual attention and has the biggest smile and best attitude. She also knows SO many people in the wedding industry (which helps you get the best vendors and pricing)!

As organized as you might think you are (I'm an engineer and pride myself on it..) you will be SO glad you have someone next to you throughout the process to double check things, help you with things you don't have time to do, and execute your well-laid plans on the day of! On the day of, I didn't worry about any details. Kaeli was there to do everything for me. She coordinated everything so that I didn't have to worry about it.

Luna Soiree Events is the best investment you can really make in your wedding (and their services are very well-priced). I would spend that money all over again (and more). For your once-in-a-lifetime wedding, you need the one-in-a-million wedding planner. From one bride to another, hire Luna Soiree now, before some other lucky bride books them first! Hiring Luna Soiree was by far the best wedding planning decision we made. From the beginning, Kaeli was very knowledgeable about all aspects of putting together a wedding, suggesting excellent vendors and managing their coordination and discounted pricing. Our wedding was in Detroit, and Kaeli was very accommodating and open to traveling to meet us as needed.

We found Kaeli to be extremely organized and detail-oriented, when we were completely unclear on the variety of aspects to planning a wedding, from decor ideas (and procurement) to meal selection to day-of logistics planning and on-site coordination that made the wedding day flawless.

Despite some unique obstacles along the way, Kaeli was not only available in a pinch but managed to maintain utmost professionalism and above all an incredibly positive attitude that put us at ease throughout the process. And all along, it was clear that Kaeli's goal was to ensure that the focus was always centered around our enjoyment of the wedding.

Indeed our wedding turned out wonderfully - we literally cannot imagine it having gone any better, and this was largely due to Kaeli's excellent services. A strong vendor support team on a wedding day is so important! I was planning my MI wedding from GA & I’ll be honest, I heard from multiple people that I had more vendors involved than any other bride! At that moment (& many sleepless nights thinking through wedding details) I knew I needed another vendor…it was time to bring in a coordinator to help with the organized chaos I had created!
The venue we chose was very hands off & really needed someone to coordinate the endless supply of vendors arriving, the setup of every detail, & to orchestrate the flow of the reception & the guests.
We worked with Kaeli to come up with a plan & she creating a customized package to fit our needs. She was a wonderful resource to have on my team when contractual questions came up & she helped to save the day when we were hit with an amendment to our venue contract less than one month from the big day! That amendment affected the hundreds of candles, the sparkler sendoff, & most of all it cut our end time by an hour. Kaeli stepped in to help come to a compromise with the venue & we definitely ended up on top! We can’t thank her enough for her support!
Libbie & the Luna Soiree team were present the day of & when I arrived to the venue it brought me to tears. The girls did a phenomenal job managing the vendors & the setup of the décor, the event space (which was a 160 acre farm, barn, & massive 7,200 sq. ft. tent) was breathtaking! Libbie was my right hand that kept everything on track & I didn’t even notice the planning behind it, it was effortless! We had a ball & didn’t want the night to end, she even helped to pull off that sparkler sendoff (which made for some amazing pictures), & I even remember her helping me readjust my dress out in a field. Libbie you were a godsend that day & I thank you so very much!
I can’t imagine my wedding day without the Luna Soiree team; they kept me level headed and knew how to get me to focus on the important items behind the big day.

The only thing I wish I had done with Kaeli and Luna Soiree is book her sooner! Having her on my side of the beginning would have saved me from a lot of headaches I dealt with at the start of our wedding planning. Kaeli and her team were absolutely spectacular to work with and they made our wedding day fly by without a hitch. My mom was a little skeptical about booking a planner but after the event was over she could do nothing but rave about Kaeli and her staff and how great it was that she didn't have to worry about a thing the entire wedding day. If you are considering booking a wedding planner/day of coordinator definitely do it, and definitely book with Luna Soiree, it was the best planning decision I made.

There is not a doubt in my mind that our wedding would have been what it was without the help of Kaeli. She was a true gem, my gold star :) I met with Kaeli about a year before our wedding, thinking I was only going to need her for day of services, I was wrong. Kaeli went over her packages with me, and explained all of the things that would fall into my lap as the wedding approached. I knew we needed more help, and I'm so glad we made that choice. Hands down, Kaeli was our biggest asset during the planning process, and on the wedding day, I have no idea what we would have done without her.

Kaeli has a true gift for what she does. She has a calm about her, but at the same time a very take charge attitude (while remaining tactful ;)) I have the tendency to accept things as they are, and not stand my ground. Not Kaeli, if there was something we wanted for our wedding, that didn't sound like it could happen, Kaeli made it happen. She had our best interest in mind throughout the entire process. She truly served as our voice.

As the wedding grew closer, Kaeli communicated with us on a regular basis. She made sure we were on track and offered her help for anything we had looked past. It was beyond comforting those final few weeks knowing Kaeli was there and she had our backs.

Our wedding day could not have gone any better. There were a couple of small hiccups, but Kaeli handled them. We didn't have to worry about a single thing, our parents didn't, our bridal party didn't. We all got to enjoy the day which is so important because it goes so fast!

Bottom line, this girl knows what she is doing! If you don't think you need someone's help like I did, trust me, you do, and you want that person to be Kaeli. Even if you think a wedding coordinator isn't in your budget, cut somewhere else...seriously! Hiring Kaeli was the best choice we made. I can't say it enough, we couldn't have done it without her and I'm so grateful for her!

My (now) husband and I were planning an out of state wedding (we live in NJ, wedding was in MI), and we decided it would be best to hire a day of coordinator to help make the process as smooth as possible. When searching coordinators, I came across Luna Soiree and was very impressed by the positive feedback both the company and Kaeli had received. During my initial conversation with Kaeli, I could tell she was extremely knowledgeable and prepared. The months leading up to my wedding, Kaeli would keep track of our vendors, making sure we had everything we needed and were as calm as possible. The week of the wedding, Kaeli was so on top of things; I did not have to worry about a thing! She arranged all times and confirmed with all my vendors, created a day-of agenda, met with me on numerous occasions and made sure I was completely stress-free and just enjoying every moment. We hired Kaeli about a year before our wedding, initially searching online for someone to help us with day of coordination, but after everything is said and done, I highly recommend for anyone to go for the full wedding planning services. Kaeli is really great at what she does, she is able to make you feel like a friend from the first meeting, but she will not let you make a bad decision. Unless you have planned a wedding before or have someone helping you that doesn't have anything else to do, there are just too many things to worry about and therefore possibly forget. She will help you save the money spent on her package to help your budget still work. She knows a great group of vendors, is super organized and gave us such great advice. After making the decision to plan a tent wedding in my parent's yard, I knew we needed outside help from a day-of coordinator. I conversed with at least 5 day-of-coordinators before pulling the trigger with Luna Soiree. Kaeli, was the only coordinator who really seemed to grasp the services I was looking for and the needs required for our big day. Prior to the wedding, Kaeli was extremely responsive on email and made herself available for a last minute in-person meeting.

Detailed timing was provided and all of our agreed day-of-duties were noted. Vendors were all contacted the week before our wedding to ensure timing commitments and expectations were aligned. Kaeli and her assistant were left on their own to complete final detail set-up (which included at least 30 tasks plus cutting flowers and minor arranging). The details execution exceeded my expectations. Execution of these details was the very reason I hired a coordinator. However, the real work was not within the details but rather vendor management which was something I didn't anticipate...at least to the extent of which it was needed.

Kaeli and her assistant managed an extremely difficult and inept catering staff. Had it not been for Luna Soiree, my guests still may be waiting for their food and drinks from the bar! Kaeli and her assistant jumped in head first and served our guests to keep the flow of the evening going. I could go into the details of how they prevented endless disasters with this catering crew, but in a nutshell Luna Soiree maintained the vision we had for our day through their leadership, professionalism and dedication. They even extended their services until they felt the evening was fully under control. Additionally, I never knew there were any issues (which there were plenty), which is the best compliment I can offer Luna Soiree.

I was planning my wedding from out of state until a few weeks before the wedding. I realized I wanted a coordinator for the day of the wedding and began calling around about 2 weeks before. When I contacted Kaeli at Luna Soiree she was ready to help, even though it was so close to the wedding. She gave me several great recommendations for dress alterations, hair, flowers and music which helped me get those last minute details finished. She knows so many people in town, so she was also able to call the park where we were getting married and get one of the structures cleaned. The day of she made sure everything was arranged as I had described to her that I wanted it, and she made sure everything ran on time -- something I was definitely not paying attention to! Kaeli was very professional and perfectly fulfilled the role of day-of coordinator.

I can't say enough good things about Kaeli, her assistant Libbi and intern Kari. She was flexible from the beginning and was one planner who didn't scoff or seem to ignore me when I said we were on a budget. I truly feel that she worked just as hard for me as she would have if I was getting her top-of-the-line package. Kaeli was helpful in so many ways (including saving some money here and there, offering suggestions, having experience at our venue, etc.) and on the day of the staff was totally pro. I knew I could trust them to make everything perfect and they did. For all the brides (and grooms) out there looking for a wedding planner or day-of-coordinator (DOC), look no further than Kaeli at Luna Soiree! From the start, Kaeli was professional, knowledgeable, and fun! Our initial meeting ran long because we were just having a blast chit-chatting. To me, that was a strong indication that we could get along and that she could help me execute my vision (glowing lantern installations suspended from the ceiling, color scheme, and much more.)

She never felt pushy but was still able to guide us in the right direction. Through Kaeli, we also found our DJ (who was also awesome- Bryan of Bee Entertainment), we secured linens, tent, chairs, and others that I'm forgetting to list here.

Lastly, I have three words to describe Kaeli: Above. And. Beyond. That is the kind of service you can expect from her and her team. This was true for many aspects of our wedding. Kaeli always made me feel like a princess and helped us in so many tangible and intangible ways. It soon became evident to me that because I decided to do a more "a la carte" individualized wedding vs. a wedding at a hall, that I was going to need some one to help me with day-of coordination (although had my budget been larger, I would have LOVED to have someone coordinating the whole thing for me- what a lot of work a wedding is!) Kaeli was more than accommodating. She worked with my budget, provided input when I needed suggestions and most importantly, she did a wonderful job of making sure my big day went smoothly! I felt like she went out of her way to help me find vendors that would provide what I was looking for and save me money.
Honestly, at the start of my wedding planning, I really thought that I would be able to do more than ever would have been possible in reality. As the wedding date drew nearer, it became increasingly evident that there is NO way I would have accomplished all of the day-of tasks that at the beginning of my engagement seemed so feasible. To me, Luna Soiree was a lifesaver! My wedding was planned in 3 months, and needless to say the last couple days were incredibly hectic. I was one of those people who thought they didn't need a wedding coordinator because I had started some of the planning already (like picking out ceremony and reception sites) but I'm really glad that we decided to work with Luna Soiree. We started planning in May for an August wedding, and my (now) husband suggested that I talk to Kaeli so that I wouldn't be stressed out about all the details as the wedding approached. We had a relatively modest wedding with about 110 people and a small budget of < $5000 total, and at first I wasn't sure adding another cost for coordinating was the right thing to do, but Kaeli really helped us save money. I found her especially helpful in negotiating with the catering manager at the reception site, to make sure that the meal was exactly how I wanted it, she got them to remove unnecessary costs that the site tacked on (like $2 per person soda/beverage service charge...people went to the bar to get sodas instead, and she got them to add on an extra side dish for us at no charge, which I appreciated). Kaeli has a great eye for making flower arrangements, since we ordered flowers online and made the centerpieces ourselves, she made them look awesome. She negotiated with the reception site to let us in the ballroom early the night before (we had an afternoon wedding) to get the tables set up. I felt really calm going to bed the night before the wedding because I knew Kaeli had all the details set, she's really organized and on top of the "small stuff". When I woke up and it was pouring rain, I wasn't even a little bit panicked because I knew Kaeli would make sure our alternate rain location looked great and was ready for the wedding. Kaeli picked out little details that I didn't think of (like decorations to make our name card table look really nice) which I appreciated. I also liked having her there to work with the ceremony site staff at the rehearsal, she made everyone feel comfortable. Kaeli helped me get my dress altered by a woman close to my house for only $80 when the bridal salon I got my dress at was going to charge me hundreds of dollars to take the dress in, shorten the straps, make a bustle, and hem it. I was very happy with the alterations she arranged. She's a pro at organizing the table arrangements and space planning, and I was really glad she was there to take care of the unexpected things at the reception, like placing people at tables when guests brought last-minute dates. One of my sisters commented on how impressed she was by Kaeli's calm, professional and friendly manner in directing the waitstaff at the reception to make sure everything was flowing smoothly. She responded to my emails really quickly and always answered the phone when I called to ask questions or update her on changes. She can be as involved as you need her to be, and listened to me when I described how I pictured things to be, she found the right balance in letting me do things myself and stepping in to help out. She helped make the day exactly how my husband and I had envisioned it. We couldn't be happier with the way things turned out, I would totally recommend working with Kaeli, she's a pleasure to be around and very detail-oriented, which is what you need to keep track of all the small stuff that comes together to make a great wedding.

Kaeli did an excellent job with my wedding. I was a very hands-on bride that knew, already, a lot about what I wanted - but she helped make it happen. Her rates were incredibly affordable, too. She took care of several things that I only realized LATER needed taking care of: I had bought ribbon to cordon off the first three rows of our seating area for the ceremony and to tie linens to tables, and ... it was clearly not enough. She came up with solutions off the cuff to handle both of those issues! On the day of the event, we had a gorgeous ceremony, and cocktail hour... then when the reception "hit" it really hit: we had a mega rainstorm. I mean thunderstorm. She worked so well with the caterer and their staff to ensure that we got sides up to the tent immediately... I barely noticed all the logistics going on. My guests were so impressed!

We needed a day-of coordinator and Luna Soiree had the perfect package for day-of needs. Kaeli of Luna Soiree was a life saver! She went above and beyond what we expected and attended to the day-of details just as I had hoped. Mid-way through our reception we ran out of vodka and Kaeli was out the door to get more before we even knew about it! This was just what I wanted, someone to 'pinch-hit' in the moment if we needed something. I felt confident Kaeli was handeling all the details I didn't want to worry about (or have my family worry about!). I would use Lunda Soiree services again without question!

Kaeli and her team made our wedding day one my friends and family are still talking about! Kaeli jumped in towards the end of our process to help coordinate and execute our wedding. She was extremely helpful in helping us get the best service out of our vendors. She had ideas I never even thought of that saved us money and got us more than we were expecting. She executed our rehearsal dinner with so little direction and it turned out even better than anyone could have expected. She and her team made our wedding day so easy that we actually were able to enjoy the day. She had a huge task in front of her as she was coordinating and setting up our entire venue and taking care of us at the same time. What she and her team did was beyond beautiful and made our dream night come to life! I couldn’t have done it without her. Luna Soiree was the best investment I made for my wedding! They got to know me before the wedding and made my day stress free! They were professional, friendly and so responsive. I LOVED working with them and would recommend them to any bride who is looking to have a stress free wedding day. I know I wouldn't have made it through my wedding without them!

I was actually referred to Luna Soiree by another wedding planner...so I knew Kaeli must be an amazing planner! I was not particularly interested in a full planning package--so it was nice to be able to work with Kaeli on a package that best suited our needs.

Kaeli was able to provide great recommendations and guidance on everything that we needed...from caterers to photographers to the most amazing seamstress. We were building a barn for our wedding--so everything was a bit hectic--and Kaeli's experience and insight kept us on track.

Having Kaeli's team on site the day of the wedding was unbelievably helpful and made my day a lot less stressful. I was not worried about the set up of anything...and there was A LOT of setup!! I was able to focus on spending time with my family and the excitement of the day.

The Luna Soiree team helped make our vision a stunning reality!

Having a wedding coordinator was such a great choice for our wedding. Kaeli and her staff really jumped in and took charge of the issues that needed managing. In fact, when our venue cancelled unexpectedly four months before the weddding Kaeli stepped in and researched available venues before we had even paid her out of her desire to see that our day was not ruined. Her ability to focus the efforts of the multiple vendors as well as guide our family and friends through the day demonstrated an attention to detail and efficiency that is well worth the money. We highly recommend Kaeli and her staff.

Wonderful wedding thanks to Luna Soiree!

Our wedding presented significant challenges, and Kaeli/Luna Soiree Events totally rose to the occasion to pull off a beautifully executed weekend of events. We hired Kaeli to help literally build our wedding venue. I always wanted my wedding to be held at my family's summer home, but to accommodate over 200 guests, this meant creating a venue in a field with no electricity, running water, or cell phone service on a historical property 3 hours from Ann Arbor. Saying this presented challenging logistics is putting it mildly!

Despite the daunting task, Kaeli worked with us and our families to combine our designs and keep us on time in planning a beachside welcome dinner for all guests, the wedding ceremony and reception, and brunch the next day. She connected us with some of our most significant vendors (band, photographer, rentals) in addition to working with local vendors we hired ourselves (caterers, florists, bathrooms, transportation).

Kaeli and her team really impressed us in the weeks prior to and weekend of the wedding. She gave us detailed itineraries to make sure there was a plan for all deliveries, set-ups, and events. This helped coordinate deliveries from all over the state of Michigan. When hiccups occurred, even major ones like a storm delaying installation or the tent company bringing the wrong tents 2 days before the wedding, she worked with us and the vendors to troubleshoot and managed many issues without even bothering us; she always maintained her calm professionalism and sense of humor. She worked through the night and did so with the general exuberance she brings to all activities. By the time of our welcome dinner, everything looked perfect and we knew that the wedding would be equally gorgeous the next day. I couldn't believe how beautiful our reception tent and ceremony site looked! Kaeli also succeeded in making the wedding a great experience for guests, too, who had no clue of any of the challenges we faced, and a year later describe the wedding as "legendary." I'm really not sure how we would have accomplished this event without her.

My advice to others is to be realistic about how much help you will need (in our case a lot!), and if you are looking for a beautiful event, a planner who will stand up for you if a challenge occurs, and a great experience for you and your guests, then hire Luna Soiree Events.

Kaeli Garcia was incredible. I was a DIY bride and she still made everything very easy for me. She made it so that I could relax to the fullest on my wedding day. She helped with set up at the hall, helped me get an amazing price on my linens, and was my go to person for all my breakdowns...... Fabulous doesn't even do justice to what she did for me. An absolute joy and pleasure to have her in my corner on the biggest day of my life. I would highly recommend her to ANYONE!

We were selective with our choice of planners and interviewed more than one. Our desire to work with someone who was LGBT-affirming and inclusive was paramount, and any worry we had about finding vendors who were also inclusive were put to rest when Kaeli found us a selection of professionals who were not only totally on-board with our Big Fat Greek Lesbian Wedding but also really talented! We highly recommend booking them to bring together all the details and to orchestrate the best day of both of our lives.

Terrible Experience and Do Not Recommend!

I had very high hopes working with Kaeli, but I unfortunately would not recommend her based on our day-of experience. She sent us an invoice the day before the wedding and charged us 30% over our initial contract and said the payment needed to be completed before wedding day setup. During the wedding, she handled and broke one of our décor items (worth $300) and did not tell us about it until I inquired about it the day after the wedding – she also refused to compensate us for the item. She was responsible for coordinating with our venue for setup and there were not enough chairs for our guests during the ceremony and our head table was also one seat short. Finally, after giving her feedback about our experience, she stated extra charges and labor were on the invoice due to my “indecision” and she asked us not to post a negative review in exchange for her refunding us $300 (less than a 1/3 of her additional, day-before invoice). She was never asked to put in additional hours and took it upon herself to draft a seating chart two months before the wedding when we had no idea what our actual guest count would be. While there were pieces of the wedding that went smoothly, Kaeli lacked the professionalism and communication needed to make this a positive experience. Needless to say, we did not accept her offer and wanted to post this in hopes of preventing anything like this from happening again – we would never want anyone to go through what we went through.
