Alice Sent on 08/30/2022Pulled Off "The Best Wedding Weekend" All Our Guests Have Ever Attended
Gina was a dream to work with during our short 6-month wedding planning process. We envisioned a semi-destination wedding weekend extravaganza in beautiful Mendocino, CA with both ceremony and reception outdoors but at different venues. We immediately felt overwhelmed and decided to hire a planner to take some of the stress off.
Lucid Events wasn't the cheapest quote we received for wedding planning & day of coordination services, but Gina went above and beyond others right off the bat showing us she could deliver by immediately researching and getting us the right state park forms necessary to secure our ceremony venue and date - before we even officially decided to work with her!
Once the contract was signed, Gina was an excellent weekly brainstorming partner and advisor for everything wedding related - from putting together the planning timeline & tasks for all of us to invitation and decor ideas, napkin folds, ways to cut costs with florals, cake delivery advice, researching hard to find vendors and keeping me (the bride) from melting down!
During our actual wedding weekend, Gina made it so that I was able to really be present with my guests and actually enjoy my own wedding day instead of worrying about all the logistics, whether things were being set up correctly and if everything was on-time. She saved the day multiple times (from what I heard afterwards) when vendors arrived late, didn't bring certain contracted items and some setup items got mixed up between the ceremony & reception sites. She also personally saved this forgetful bride TWICE when I forgot my bouquet both right before I was supposed to walk down the aisle and again right before the bouquet toss.
I highly recommend Gina and Lucid Events for wedding planning and day-of-coordination services if you want to be able to relax and enjoy your big day. She was willing to flex to collaborate and take on as much or as little as I wanted her to during the design and planning phase and it was so easy to work with her even over VC. In addition, Gina is a lightning fast problem solver for any hiccups that might arise on the day of (and they inevitably will for any event no matter how well you plan & prepare).
All of our guests commented that it was the best wedding experience they had ever been a part of - couldn't have pulled it off without Gina! -

Gina absolutely saved my life when my previous coordinator / rentals fell through 7 weeks before my wedding. She calmly stepped in and coordinated new rentals and inventory which took so much stress off of my back. She is kind and funny and listened to all of my requests and made them happen! I am super grateful for her! -

As a complete type-B bride, I interviewed with a lot of different wedding planners. Gina and I immediately clicked and I am so grateful that she was our wedding planner. She sent me her top 3 choices for each vendor based on the vibe and budget, she was the one to set up the contact and initial meetings with everyone, and was my advocate throughout the entire planning process. She was always available to text and really never made my 1000x questions feel like a burden. 2 weeks before my wedding our venue sent us an email showing pictures of extensive construction and Gina immediately called me with solutions. She went to the venue to see the extent of the construction, told the venue it was unacceptable, and found us another beautiful venue all within 18 hours. I truly couldn't have asked for someone better in our corner, she made everything leading up to the event perfect and day of was just as amazing. I had no stress throughout my entire wedding process and think that Gina played a crucial role in that. We recommend Gina 10000% and are both so grateful she was there for our big day! -

Hands down Gina was THE best. She was on top of everything, super organized, all while being so nice and easy to work with. I hired her simply over how her vibe and personality came through over text message! She was the best to deal with and so easy to talk to. Gina was always available to talk and was so good at handling the most ridiculous situations that came up during my wedding planning. Her calm demeanor but also able to take care of any situation ( like getting us out of an awful vendor contract 30 days prior to our wedding) makes her amazing . She has personal relationships with all the vendors down here which helped us so much aka having to then find a new florist a month before our wedding day. All in all I would use Gina again 100 times over! It’s so important to have a planner who not only is good at their job BUT is also easy to have a relationship. Gina was that and more! -

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of working with many wedding planners, and I must say, Lucid Events is truly outstanding. From start to finish, the level of organization and attention to detail was nothing short of remarkable. Every aspect of the day was seamlessly planned, which made capturing the couple’s special moments effortless and enjoyable.
Gina has an incredible ability to anticipate every need, ensuring that the timeline flowed smoothly without any hiccups. From the perfectly arranged details to the well-coordinated transitions between events, it was clear that every element was thoughtfully prepared with both the couple and their vendors in mind.
What stood out most to me was Gina's calm demeanor and professionalism throughout the day. Even in moments of unpredictability (as weddings often bring), she handled everything with grace and efficiency, allowing the couple and their loved ones to stay fully present in the celebration.
Thanks to Gina, I was able to focus on my craft without worrying about logistical challenges. It’s so refreshing to work with a planner who understands the needs of every vendor and ensures we can all work together seamlessly.
I can’t recommend Lucid Events enough to any couple looking for a wedding planner who is not only talented and organized but also a true joy to work with. I look forward to collaborating again in the future! -

Where do we begin!? Gina was absolutely incredible! She made each part of our wedding detailed, organized and fun! She was a great communicator as we planned our destination wedding. She was exceptional at remembering the small, but important, details. She took the heavy lift of communicating with each of our vendors beforehand, making sure they had everything they needed. She also made sure we were happy with every detail, and it's important to like everything; Gina made it easy for us to speak up if something was off. She helped us find additional needed vendors as we weren't as aware of all the options as we were from out of town, including looking into multiple locations for a rehearsal dinner She was also a fantastic hype girl, always bringing the energy. She curated a detailed day-of timeline and helped facilitate our dress rehearsal. With the provided decor, she set up all the decorations, tables, seating charts, florals, etc and took them down. There wasn't anything Gina couldn't do! She kept us on track throughout the day, made sure we were hydrated and happy. She was a critical part of ensuring our destination wedding was everything we wanted it to be; it wouldn't have been possible without her. Thank you, Gina!!! -

A team of women that focus on the couple and help the vendors wherever they need. If the timeline adjusted or changed Gina would be sure we knew it and had enough time to get where we needed to go! Great teamwork! -

Wedding Planner of my dreams!
I cannot recommend Gina and her team enough. She always made herself available and provided multiple options for us to pick from which was super helpful as a couple from out of state. All the vendors she recommended were spectacular and she was a great resource for negotiating. What originally made us feel comfortable with her was the fact that she provided us guidance, ideas, and videos before we even hired her. She is laid back and fun yet also professional and gets the job done. She always seemed to answer my texts and emails within hours and calmed my worries leading up the wedding. Thank you Gina for helping me bring my fairytale wedding to life! -

Hiring Gina and Alexis was by far the best wedding decision I made! As a type-A planner who had all of our wedding vendors booked within 6 months of getting engaged, I thought I could handle the wedding day on my own. However as we got closer to the big day, I realized I didn't want to take care of logistics on the wedding day. That's when I found Lucid Events and hired them for day of coordination. Gina helped me through all our final steps of wedding planning such as creating a timeline, making a rain contingency plan, and scheduling our final vendor meetings. Alexis was there for our ceremony rehearsal and wedding day and she went above and beyond to make the day run completely smooth, despite it raining all day. She handled transitioning guests from one activity to the next, working with vendors, bringing us drinks all night long, and overseeing cleanup. I 100% believe that without Lucid Events, I would not have enjoyed our wedding day as much as I did. It was the best day of my life and a huge part of that was their help! -

Gina is absolutely amazing!!!!! We got married at Hardeman's Secret Garden in Dover in November and we absolutely could not have had the wedding of our dreams without Gina. I had no idea where to start in wedding planning, but Gina helped me every step of the way to make it a breeze. I moved across the country right after being engaged, and it never effected the communication and assistance Gina provided even from afar. She went out of her way to tour our venue on her own since she had not been there yet and did everything possible to make the planning process a breeze for me as i'm thousands of miles away. She handled all the communication, contracts, insurance things I didn't even know were a thing. Aside from helping me put my vision into real life, I always looked forward to talking to her as she felt like just a friend helping me and being as excited with me for the best day of our lives. She really cares and puts everything into her work. I'm pretty sure she worked a 12+ hour day for me that day and never lost her smile. She is a pro and will make your live so much easier. My family and guests absolutely loved her and I highly recommend using Gina with Lucid Events to help make your wedding everything you could imagine. I didn't have a single ounce of worry during the entire day and I owe it all to Gina I can't thank her enough -

Gina Damato is incredible!! We had our destination wedding in Puerto Rico and it was beautiful! Gina thinks of everything and has such great attention to detail, she really knows how to plan an amazing event! She was on top of everything and made sure that our vendors and venue created the perfect wedding for us. She took the time to check in with our families, guests and made sure that everyone was having a great time, she really goes above and beyond. She is a master at her craft, hiring her was the best decision we could of made! -

Gina was beyond amazing! I don't have enough good things to say about her. She went above and beyond even before she became my planner, and this is how she was throughout the entire process. Gina helped in any way possible by reaching out to vendors and even sharing her opinions on how to make my wedding beautiful. The wedding was a dream come true, she stayed the entire wedding day to make sure everything went accordingly. I would highly recommend Gina to use as your planner, you will not be dissapointed. -

I was searching for a partial wedding planner for months and finally narrowed it down to 3. I interviewed with all of them (highly recommend) and I knew right away Gina was it for me. I wanted someone who provided a software to keep me organized (tech girly here), someone who was professional, knowledgeable, yet knew how to have fun and someone who has been in the business for while. Gina checked all my boxes. I had a vision and Gina helped me bring that light to make sure the day went as smooth as possible. Brides can have all the vision in the world but the truth is you need a professional because there’s so many things I didn’t know or didn’t think about so we would tweak it when we had our check ins/meetings. Also, the day of she absolutely killed it. Everyone was complementing her professionalism and proficiency. My parents LOVED her. I don’t even know if anything went wrong day off because she handled it all. I was able to really enjoy the day/night. I am so grateful I found her and would highly recommend her! -

Just got done working with Gina at a Wedding at The Jupiter Beach Resort and all I can say is that from the first time I met her, I knew that she was an amazing planner. She is a true perfectionist and knows exactly how to get the job done in the correct way. Her organizational skills are second to none and worked side by side with me in every aspect of the way as the Wedding DJ/MC for the evening. I highly recommend Gina if you are looking for a planner. Gina helped me execute the most perfect wedding!
I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Gina. She gracefully handled every single aspect of the planning process leading up the the big day and the day itself with the kind of wonderful attitude and positive calm demeanor you hope for in a wedding planner. She masterfully handled the wedding day, particularly dealing with some exceptionally difficult vendors on my behalf to make sure my day was what I wanted, and minimizing the need for my involvement. She arrived early with an assistant to help setup a ton of decor we brought with us to the venue and stayed late to break it down, carefully packing everything back into its original containers. In a planner I looked for organization, responsiveness, punctuality, positive attitude, artistic vision, and great recommendations, all of which Gina has in spades. I could go on, but I’ll leave you with the message not to look any further once you’ve found her. She will make sure your day is perfection. -

We were on a hunt for a month trying to hire a wedding coordinator. Organization and more importantly communication was very important for me. I have been researching reviews, talked over the phone and my gut instinct led me to the best!
Gina, my wedding planner called me 15 mnts after I posted my request. She answered all my questions and her confidence, knowledge and skills in venue designing was on point. Our conversation made such an impression, we hired her immediately!....And never regretted it!
We had a beautiful beach wedding. Gina made us feel at ease. From the beginning, Gina helped transform our wedding day to the most memorable experience ever. What I thought would be the most overwhelming process flowed smoothly because of hard work and dedication delivered from the moment we contacted her.

I would give Gina 10 stars if I could! I am the type of person that likes to have control over everything, so it was very hard for me to hire someone to help me with my wedding. However, as soon as I met Gina, I knew my wedding was in good hands. She is very organized, professional, reliable, and FUN. I could contact her for anything and everything at all hours. My day would not have run smoothly without her, because I knew she had everything under control. I even had wedding guests tell me the coordinator was fantastic. I couldn't be happier that I found Gina at Lucid Events to be my wedding coordinator. She was so easy to work with, so patient with all my questions, and was always so responsive during the months leading up to the wedding. We had our wedding at the Luxmore Estate and she helped us plan it in less than 8 months. She handled all the little details with vendors and decorations. She also saved the day when I forgot my hairpiece at home and she ran out to find a new one (and much better one, I will add) before the ceremony. A LITERAL lifesaver. Lucid events and Gina helped me plan my wedding in less than 7 months. She was amazing to work with, quick to respond, and found creative ways to work with my budget. Almost every vendor she suggested we went with. Her knowledge and experience is unmatched.
