Most Perfect day!!! 25 year vow renewal! 🌺🤍

This was the most perfect day for my husband and my 25 year vow renewal! Vickie and Lupe were so incredibly helpful and really made everything effortless! Shannon the coordinator was awesome… so friendly and took such amazing photos using my iPhone—I was blown away! Charles remarried us and was the most genuine person… he played music, sang and everything he said was just absolutely beautiful! This day was so incredibly special!! The biggest Mahalo to the entire Love Maui Weddings team! 🌺🤍🥂

Awesome!. Perfect day

Vickie helped us get the perfect beach/sunset wedding! The minister she chose for us was so warm and friendly and caring. The girl who did my hair and makeup (Lori) was awesome and even took pictures for us. She was punctual , professional and also very friendly. Vickie’s assistant , whom we first met at our vow renewal beach setting, (Valerie) couldn’t have been any more nicer and took so many great pictures. I told her she should quit her day job and become a professional photographer. She was that good. Everything turned out just perfect. Just what I wanted and Vickie gave us great tips on what to see and where to eat in Maui . She knows how to plan a wedding . Highly recommend her and her services.

I live in Arkansas and was engaged last February, we wanted a tropical wedding so Maui sounded perfect! I started looking on the Internet for wedding planners in that area, for some reason I was drawn to Dolphin Dream Weddings so I called the number listed and spoke with Vickie, she was driving to a location and I remember her saying she had to pull over on the side of the road so she could give me some info about their services. We continued to talk and she was extremely personable, found that her kids had gone to college in my home state!! I was a bit nervous about planning this so far away but I can assure you that Vickie eased my mind 100%. She continued to stay in touch with me via emails and when the big day (night) came IT WAS AMAZING!! Everything was perfect, the weather, the pastor, the photographer, the coordinator, everything!!! Through all of our talking and the planning we feel as if we not only had the perfect wedding but we gained a friendship as well!!
My husband and I returned to Maui for our 1 year anniversary and we contacted Vickie again just to get more ideas on places to go and things to see, everything she recommended was great!! I give this company a 100% A+!!!

We were married on Maui 04/28/2015

Vickie & Rick worked with me on everything down to the dollar to fit our budget. I think in the year it took us to plan our wedding, Vickie and I exchanged hundreds of emails, down to the day before the wedding. She never lacked detail in her explanations or answers.

The wedding itself was a dream come true, thanks to Vickie, Rick and Sarah, our day of coordinator. The vendors were all fantastic to say the least. All our guests raved about everything, venue, flowers, food, photographer and Sarah, the list goes on. Sarah was a total sweetheart and was more helpful than one can imagine. There were 2 minor hiccups as for any wedding, but she was all over them before I even had a chance to stress. Her constant attention to detail was noticed by every guest and everyone just loved her.

Thank you Vickie, Rick and Sarah for your fantastic work before, during and even after our big day. My guests and I would recommend Love Maui Wedding's services to anyone planning a wedding!

Not knowing anything about Maui but wanting to get married here, I found Vickie and Love Maui Weddings to be awesome to work with. Vickie walked me through all the decisions to plan our beach ceremony, listened to my wishes, and selected a great venue (Makena Cove) and super vendors to make our ceremony special. Very stress free. The Love Maui Weddings team is very knowledgeable about the area and has relationships with vendors to match you with the details you desire for your wedding. If you are thinking of getting married on Maui, you must have Love Maui Weddings as your planner.

My wife Debbie and I got married on the beach in Kapalua Bay in August 2017 and the experience was beyond our wildest dreams and expectations. The venue, the accommodations, the planning and the photography were all outstanding. We were thrilled with the final results. Vickie Jackson and her wonderful staff at Dolphin Dream Weddings helped us plan our son's small wedding at Kapalua Bay on Maui, Hawaii. The attention to detail and Vickie's kindness in answering any questions we had during the process was so incredible that we felt as though we had the same kind consideration as someone hosting a large wedding would expect to receive. We live in Washington state, and our son and his (now) wife live in Mississippi, so we were planning and trying to coordinate plans from quite a distance apart. Vickie made this easy thru multiple phone conversations and making sure we all were on the same page with sending us all duplicate emails. The planning was seamless with Vickie's help, and her staff, the hair/makeup stylist, the limo driver, the minister, the photograper on the day of the wedding were all superb too. I wish other companies I deal with would have the same high quality customer service. I would recommend Vickie Jackson and Dolphin Dream Weddings to anyone. This wedding was one of the best days of my life. I promise with Vickie's planning for your wedding -- you will have a spectacular event too!

Stress Free Dream Wedding

I highly recommend Rick and Vicki at Love Maui Weddings. They were there for us, no matter how many times we called or emailed throughout the year before our wedding. Once we got to Maui, after flying 4800 miles, our wedding was completely and beautifully put together for us. We had no stress at all. It was a dream wedding and it was much more magical than I could have imagined. The team they put together for us were very professional, but also very personable. I just wanted to say thank you to Vickie Jackson, and her husband, for helping me and my husband create our Maui Dream Wedding. It was even more amazing than we could've imagined. The vendors you chose were all so great. They were professional and did what they did really well, but they were kind and loving and really embraced us as a couple and our special day. I'm so glad you made some suggestions, the wedding circle of flowers on the beach really made for amazing photographs, and having two permits made it stress free because really when it did rain that day and we had to switch beaches it was still so perfect because after all you are in Maui and everywhere it's so beautiful. I felt stress free from the moment we arrived thanks to your outline of what we needed to do, which really wasn't much, we had to go get our license but Vickie handled everything else, but it helped seeing it all on paper, you covered everything. Our on site coordinate was great also. So thanks again. We had such a great time and made so many amazing memories. Mahalo!

When we decided on a destination wedding in Maui, we did a lot of research and decided to go with Vickie Love Maui Wedding / Dolphin Dream Weddings. This was one of the best decisions that we have ever made! Vickie was very quick to respond to all my emails and phone calls, I think I probably sent her over 100 emails in a three month period. She took the time and walked me through all the steps and decisions that needed to made along the way. She always confirmed with me before booking a vendor, just incase I changed my mind, which happened a lot. Our wedding was perfect and stress free because of Vickie.

A Perfect and Magical Wedding!

Love Maui Weddings created a perfect and magical wedding day for us. Vicki and Rick were so organized and professional that we didn't have to think or worry about any details. We chose the "Love Story" package and we couldn't have been more pleased. The photographer Frank Baranik was fabulous and Reverend Beam made our ceremony special and personal. Our flowers were unbelievably beautiful and Kapalua Bay Beach was the perfect spot to have a sunset wedding. It was just the two of us so we wanted it to be just about "us", and that was definitely achieved. We looked at a lot of Maui wedding companies and I'm so happy we chose Love Maui Weddings. I have family in Maui and thought we could plan our daughter's wedding...I wasted so much time on the internet! From the first email with Vickie Jackson to the final vow, everything was taken care of and in a way that only experienced Maui wedding professionals can do! Our daughter was concerned about pictures and how her hair would look...she had an exact idea how she wanted her hair. The hairstylist, Beth, came to our room two days before the wedding to do a dry run...worth every penny!! When the bride tried on her dress (it had recently been altered) with her hair done, we all teared up....even Beth! We all decided a slight alteration was needed for the wedding day and her hair was perfect!! Absolutely everything exceeded our expectations!!

My husband and I got married on June 5, 2015. Over a year ago, I started researching wedding planners to help plan our dream wedding on a beach in Hawaii. After sending inquiries to a handful of planners, I felt confident that Vickie of Love Maui Weddings would be the best choice given her responsiveness, attentiveness and enthusiasm in her initial correspondence. I stand by my decision today as Vickie planned such a wonderful wedding for us and 40 of our closest family and friends.

Vickie and her husband, Rick, work with amazing vendors. The hair/makeup artist, Beth, did gorgeous work for my sister (Maid of Honor) and I. Ernest (officiant) performed a beautiful ceremony and the photographer, Jessica and her assistant were very creative and delightful to work with. Vickie recommended Cake Fanatics to create our cupcake tower for the reception and they did such a great job, our guests are still talking about how those were the best cupcakes they've ever had. Our on-site beach coordinator, Chris, was so friendly and made me feel comfortable and at ease despite us not having a rehearsal. Rick booked three different chartered vehicles to transport all our guests from different resorts to the separate ceremony and reception locations and it worked perfectly. The vehicles were new, clean and the drivers were on time and very professional.

Planning a wedding is no easy task, let alone planning a destination wedding in a destination you've never been to. Vickie made everything easier from patiently answering hundreds of my questions to expertly recommending locations and timing and keeping track of all the little details. I'm very happy with my decision to work with Love Maui Weddings and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable Maui wedding.

30th Wedding Anniversary and Vow Renewal

I hired Vickie Jackson at Love Maui Weddings to help arrange the surprise renewal of our wedding vows between my wife and I on our 30th anniversary. She and her team were flawless. From the harpist, to the minister, to the on-site assistant and release of two doves, the event was flawless. Seeing the tears of joy streaming down my wife's face said it all and made the day a forever memory.

The Perfect Wedding

We had a little over month before our wedding day when the devastating Maui wildfires occurred. Dolphin Dream Weddings AKA Love Maui Weddings did an absolutely exceptional job with my wedding!!! The ceremony was perfect and the dinner was delicious!!! I wish there were enough words to say how very pleased my family and I were with everything. We loved Ernest, he was so funny and helped us relax and enjoy our special moment. My family keeps talking about how great he was! :) Leslie did a fine job as well. Very nice and helpful and she represented the company very well. The ceremony space was just as I dreamed it would look and I loved, loved, loved my flowers!!! I was very specific about my flowers and they were exactly what I wanted. Our photographer, Ceasar took some beautiful pictures that I will cherish forever. Dukes Beach House is where we had our wedding dinner and it was awesome too. The food was fantastic and the view was gorgeous!!

I'm so glad my wedding day went smoothly and everything turned out exactly the way I planned. Dolphin Dream Weddings (Love Maui Weddings) made my special day a truly memorable one :)

My husband and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary on 8/6/13. It has always been my dream to renew our wedding vows on the beach and we fulfilled that dream by renewing our vows in Maui. Having never been to Maui, I had no idea where to begin to plan the ceremony. Vicki had been recommended to me and I can't say enough good things about her and her team. She really took the time to listen and was so responsive with every question I had. I loved the fact that she provided cost effective options (such as being able to have somone take pictures with your own camera) and never missed a detail. I wanted to utilize a Hawaain Minister and have our 2 kids (18 and 15 years old) be a part of the cermony as well. Pastor Ernest Pua'a performed the most beautiful and memorable ceremony. Kapalua Bay was gorgeuous and the sunset was breathtaking. It was definitely an evening we will never forget and I have Vicki and her team to thank for that.

I would highly recommend Dolphin Dream Weddings. They don't miss a beat, are very honest, do not try and sell you the most expensive package, are very compasionate and go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience!

35th Anniversary Vow Renewal

We weren't sure what to do as our initial plans fell through due to the west Maui wildfires, however, we were reconnected and rebooked for south Maui at Secret Cove Beach. This was our first beach experience in this regard and we couldn't have been more pleased with everyone and everything. They were actually "guarding" a parking spot for us when we arrived. Just an incredibly spectacular venue and experience! Highly recommended!

I recently had my wedding in Maui on May 19. My fiance and I had heard about Vickie through one of the hotels we were looking into. She had a few reviews and all were positive. We took the plunge not knowing what to expect, as we were coming from Canada without ever being to Maui. Vickie and her husband were fantastic throughout the whole process.

1) Communication - Vickie was always prompted with her email responses and was lovely to talk to on the phone. I should mention that my fiance is a numbers freak and always trying to get a good price for everything we do. He constantly emailed Vickie and would find his own vendors - which likely made her life hell during that time! lol. That said, she never pushed back but would give an honest opinion on the matter and would allow us the flexibility to adjust our vendors as he wanted. I think Vickie's communication skills are absolutely some of the best I've seen and definitely made things easier during this time.

2) Organization - Vickie again was right on track and kept us on track during the planning stages. She would touch base with us and let us know what needed to be done.

3) Day of - From the moment we had an on-site assessment completed a few days before the wedding until after the wedding - Vickie took care of everything! What we had requested was carried out without reminders. As a type A bride, I was trying to pick up stuff near the end of the night and her assistant would not allow it! She would ask me what needed to be done and she'd take care of it. As it was a DIY type wedding, not one thing was left behind as Vickie and her staff ensured everything was just right. I can't begin to express how helpful Vickie was and how professional everything turned out.

Our wedding day was perfect and our family and friends can't believe how well a destination wedding turned out. I credit the majority of this to Vickie and Dolphin Dream Weddings, as well as my now husband, for creating a wonderful day. I highly recommend Vickie and Dolphin Dream Weddings.

I can definitely recommend Dolphin Dream Weddings!!! My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and had a vow renewal ceremony and dinner at Merriman's in Maui. We had a party of 20 and it was perfect. Vickie helped me pick everything from a distance, but I felt comfortable with every choice made.

We had doves for service and it was pretty amazing. (The kids still remember this). The dinner at Merriman's was perfect, as well as the location of the ceremony. They created a personalized menu for our party. I had some favors delivered from another island and they received them and held the box for me with no issue. Overall, it was as stress free as could possibly be! lol!

Just the Best!!!

I called Vickie about a last minute surprise vow renewal, and wow, did she make it easy. I had flowers, photographer, site, efficient, and anything else you could need in minutes. I was extremely low maintenance but she made me feel like I’d been planning for months. Everyone was beyond timely, professional, and I would recommend them to anyone. Mahalo Love Maui Weddings!!!!!

We booked our wedding in Maui through Dolphin Dream/Love Maui Weddings based on a friend's advice/review and we were definitely not disappointed! Vickie was thorough and prompt with her communications throughout the planning stages, and her onsite coordinator, photographer, videographer, and minister were very professional and excellent to work with. We had a traditional Hawaiian wedding, booked a wedding cake and luau reception through Vickie, and were also assisted with the marriage license; everything went smoothly and stress free. I'm a type-A, neurotic bride, and had so many questions and made multiple last minute changes, but Vickie was great to work with and was very reassuring and accommodating. Vickie had a plan B for any issues we could possibly have on the day of, and everything turned out so much better than we expected. Great value for couples looking for a small, intimate beach wedding!!

We we're renewing our vows and we had some weather issues and they went out of their way to help us... offered to drive us to a different location or a change of date... they also use the BEST minister ever! (Ernest). I highly recommend Dolphin Dream Weddings and would use them again, no question!

Vickie and her team at Love Maui Weddings did an excellent job planning our wedding and helping it all to go smoothly on our special day. She uses the best vendors on Maui and has extremely reasonable prices. I especially liked our photographer, Caitlin Cathey, and our caterers, Aloha Catering.

Excellent Experience

My wedding was 5/10/22. Vickie and Rick made sure everything was perfect and that everyone had a great time! They chose an amazing officiant for us who had such a kind and laid back personality. His relaxed vibe meshed well with us! They also chose a wonderfully professional photographer who took some beautiful shots! My favorite was the florist that Vickie chose to make my flowers. The florist called me about 3 weeks before the wedding so that she could learn about me and make sure that my flowers were personalized just for me! I highly recommend Vickie and Rick and Love Maui Weddings to anyone planning an Island wedding!

Vickie Jackson professionally responded with EXACTLY what we requested and remained within our budget for our recent vow renewal ceremony! Kapalua Bay provided the perfect setting, just as she described in her emails. Leslie Chen’s very welcoming personality, and her keen attention to detail on the day of the event, helped us to settle into the perfect spot on the beach as we celebrated our 20th anniversary with a small vow renewal ceremony that included 5 members of our family.

We truly appreciated Vickie's expert recommendations since we had not visited Maui in nearly 20 years during our initial ceremony at the beautiful Keawala'I Church in Makena. While we wanted to return to the Makena area for our vow renewals, it was a bit too pricey, so we stayed in Kaanapali. However, we did enjoy the church service in Makena with our family on Sunday.

You will not go wrong with Vickie and her team.

I called the concierge desk where we were planning to stay for two weeks only about a month before the vacation. This was a very spontaneous decision. Vickie at Dolphin weddings was recommended (I had been online and had no idea how to select a service, so that's when I decided to call for a recommendation) and she was back in contact with me quickly. I wanted a very simple, no fuss wedding that would include just seven people. First, she never put pressure on me to 'upgrade' to more expensive services. She truly listened to what we wanted and made every effort to give us the right package based on our desires. She was fabulously responsive, especially on the day of our event. I suddenly started to text her questions, some of which she had already covered with me, but that I didn't fully process, like why we were having the ceremony on the beach and not the lawn, etc.
I made it clear that I wanted something that would accommodate my partially handicapped sister and she was extremely proactive about it. The venue, the restaurant, the flowers, the hairdresser who came to our condo, the Hawaiian officiant, onsite coordinator, photographer...everything went like clockwork and seamlessly. It was perfect!
I would definitely use Vickie again (but plan not to! This should do it for us!), and I would recommend her to anyone. Great personality! Thank you for making our very short-planned event so wonderful.

Our wedding was amazing! Even though it was a very intimate occasion, Vickie, made it beyond memorable. I didn't have to worry about anything buy making sure to show up and that was exactly what I needed when planning a destination wedding. Our pastor (Pastor Laki) was beyond memorable and we couldn't have felt more blessed to have him perform our ceremony, he was also flexible when we wanted to add our own spin to the vows :) If you are looking to plan a Hawaiian Beach wedding, I wouldn't look anywhere else than Dolphin Dreams. You will not be disappointed!!!

Vickie was amazing and EVRYTHING was perfect and just the way we imagined it. I planned this wedding from the mainland and only had three months to get everything done, location, food, flowers, photographer, transportation, etc., etc. I could have NEVER done this without Vickie. She literally worked day and night to make it happen. No change or addition to what we originally discussed was too much for her. Everything was done in a timely manner and with a smile. The vendors she recommended were perfect! She gets personally involved, makes good recommendations but also respects your wishes. She takes a lot of pride in what she does and it shows. Wedding dreams and more come true!

Vickie and Rick helped us so much in the planning of our wedding. We lived on Maui for many years but had moved away to KY. We contacted Dolphin Dream Weddings 2006 at the time which is now Love Maui Weddings and this couple really embraced us and helped us with all of our needs. We had a magical wedding day, one too never forget in Kapalua. We loved our experience so much that we contacted them about coming back two years later to do the dedication and baptism of our baby girl at Kaanapali Beach. There are not enough words to describe how pleased and thankful we are for their care in coordinating these events with us and our family and friends! We still remember them during Christmas time as being the two to help bond our family as one!

I'm not sure where to start to try to express my gratitude for Vickie, Rick & their team.

Our wedding day was perfect. Your team is the best of the best. Everyone made us feel so special and are the kindest & most sincere people. I felt like I knew all of them for a long time, not like we had just met.

Beth did such a great job with my hair & make-up. She made me feel so pretty and is a kind kind person. I enjoyed our time while she was here and felt like I was visiting a friend.

The ceremony could not have been better. Ernest touched my heart within the first few minutes and when he asked if he could sing "Marry Me" by Train for us, the tears were flowing. Tim proposed to me with that song. Ernest didn't know that but it was meant to be. It was just one more sign that everything was perfect.

Bruce & Susan are just as amazing. They made everything go so smooth and helped us to enjoy every minute. They are also such good people and we enjoyed working with them. Our photos are beautiful!!

I had zero stress on our wedding day and that is all because of you and your team. It couldn't have gone better. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! My gratitude is hard to put into words.

Vicki was such a blessing to us. We had to move our date up from December 8 to November 20. The wedding planner we had booked could not accommodate us. Mahlo to Vickie and Dream Dolphin Weddings! We renewed our vows for our 25th anniversary and Vickie had all planned perfectly. It could not have been smoother. Our Pastor and photographer, chosen by Vickie, were absolutely wonderful! Our location perfect. Every detail was worked out with ease and Vickie was exceptional in responses to emails and calls. Vickie and Rick Jackson of Dolphin Dream Weddings, promises a dream wedding and that is what we received, a beautiful perfect dream wedding. Their website lists the wedding packages along with the prices and what is included. You are able to customize to what you want. I liked the convenience of seeing each package and price and being able to talk directly over the phone and mostly via email with Vickie and Rick. They get back to you within 24 to 48 hours. They are so nice and they answer all your questions and give you suggestions. The vendors that they are associated with on their website are just as wonderful. Kay the travel agent was able to get us a great deal on our travel itinerary from our plane tickets, the resort & car rental. Cassandra did a wonderful job on my make-up & hair. Elly's Bridal did an excellent job on my gown and the tux was perfect for my fiance. The limo was great and so was the musician. The minister did a lovely job with the ceremony. The ceremony was so beautiful at sunset on Kapalua Bay Beach. Ceaser the photographer did a beautiful job with the wedding pictures and the videographer did an outstanding job with the video and we were able to pick two of our own songs. The prices from all are very reasonable for a wedding & honeymoon for two. If you want a getaway wedding for you and your fiance, this would be perfect, after all its about the two of you.

We received so many compliments from our family and friends, on my gown, make-up, hair, his tux and how beautiful the Kapapula Bay beach was at sunset and how beautiful the wedding photo's were and the video.

Beautiful Ceremony Made it Happen 10/20/20

I am so happy and thankful to have had Love Maui Weddings as our wedding planners. We had a beautiful ceremony, everything that I dreamed of. I felt very beautiful as well. I have to give Vickie and Rick a huge Mahalo for all the planning, changing, and flexibility we had to have during this pandemic! As many others, my original date of May 7 had to be cancelled, we all persevered and I was able to be one of the first weddings after Maui re-opened. I was ever so thankful that I was not having to re-confirm vendors once we arrived in Maui. As it happened, one vendor actually cancelled due to Covid 19 concerns, Vickie was able to get a wonderful replacement at the last minute. From the beginning of our consult Vickie was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made great suggestions. I highly recommend Love Maui Weddings, Thank you so much Dawn and Tim.

Our wedding in paradise

Working with Vickie and her husband Rick was more than amazing experience. Not only did they make the planning experience (during the pandemic even) completely stress free, they are extremely knowledgeable and answered any of my questions before I even thought of them. Also the on-site coordinator and officiant to the wedding were amazing. The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous, the ukulele was an amazing touch and the flowers were beautiful. I wish I could do it all over again. I also enjoyed building a friendship with Vickie and and hearing about her beautiful family. Wonderful experience!

We live on the mainland and called Love Maui Weddings and they planned everything for us. We weren't able to meet or interview the planner, videographer, photographer, minister or musician, so they did all the work for us. We showed up for our special day and everything came out beautifully! The photos were so beautiful, the video was perfect, the location was gorgeous and everything fell into place and turned out better than expected. A day we will never forget!

I found Love Maui Weddings by searching for a wedding planner online. This by far was the best decision I made when it came to planning our Vow Renewal Ceremony. We had planned to renew our vows in 2020 but because of COVID, it was postponed to 2021. Vickie kept in touch with me for the whole year keeping me informed on Maui’s COVID restrictions & regulations. Finally, the day we dreamed about came true.
Thanks, Vickie & Rick for making our day so special! It was more than we could have ever imagined. Minister Ernest gave us words of inspiration and wisdom for our marriage. Andrea greeted the wedding party then led me to the beach so I could make a grand entrance. She kept us organized and on point during the entire ceremony. Thanks, Love Maui Weddings for all you did to make our trip a vacation of a lifetime; from the wedding ceremony on the beach, dinner at Kimo's, the Old Lahaina Luau, to our dinner cruise. This will always be a day and vacation we will never forget!

Dolphin Dream Wedding was the best things I accidentally came accross. They did all the work since I am in Washington and they are in Maui. If I had any questions, they were quick to email me a response and were so nice and polite and professional. They helped make our wedding everything we wanted and more. We enjoyed every part of working with them. You would be lucky to have them help coordinate your wedding. They have tons of connections and know all that there is to know about wedding in Maui and in all of Hawaii.

My Wife and I were on a 7 day trip to Maui, On the 2nd to the last day we came across A beach wedding going on and I could see that look in my wife's eyes... (any man who truly loves his wife knows what I mean!) so when we got back to hotel I quickly Goggled last minute weddings on the beach? I found Dolphin Dream Weddings... Now you have to know it's 7:30 Saturday night.... I emailed Vickie and told her I wanted to renew our vows on the beach and I needed it to happen on Sunday evening at 5:00 PM (the next day) and that I wanted to be walking down the beach and make it seem like we stumbled on the whole thing that was for some one else! (then I would get down on my knee and ask her to remarry me!) she said I can make it happen! I told her we have been married for 15 years and together for 20 years and THIS HAS TO BE A SURPRISE. She had Kamuela a very seasoned Hawaiian minister meet us at a very private BEAUTIFUL beach as the sun was going down.... He showed up dressed in very old school Hawaiian attire horn for wedding beautiful hat beads and more.... and my wife just thought we were going for a stroll on the beach, so we walked to were he was and he pretended to be on the phone, we walked up to him I asked him if he knew where White Rock Beach was (HEHEHE) and my wife still has know idea.... as he started to answer and my wife is in awe of him I got down on one knee and SHE STARTED TO CRY... I said to her (with the waves in the background and the sun going down) Will you marry me again here on the beach with Kamuela as our guide! (thank god she said yes) THIS WAS THE BEST DAY EVER! Thanks to Vickie and Kamuela and Dolphin Dream Weddings!

Perfect Day

Love Maui Weddings helped us plan the absolute BEST day. It truly was more beautiful and special than we had ever dreamed of. Everything came together so perfectly with the help of Vickie & Rick at Love Maui Weddings.
Our transportation was wonderful. Our Officiant was kind, caring, and delivered a beautiful Hawaiian ceremony. The flowers and flower circle on the beach were stunning.

Maui Weddings went above and beyond!

Outstanding help from Rick and Vickie of Love Maui Weddings. They helped plan my Brother Curtis wedding from long distance( we live in OR & Wa area) down to the very last detail. Beautiful vow renewal

Vickie and Rick were so great to work with. I had booked this at the start of Covid and had to reschedule at least two times. Vickie was always very understanding and accommodating. The bridal bouquet, special leis and circle of flowers were gorgeous. Ernest performed the most beautiful Hawaiian wedding ceremony that included our special songs.

Caesar was a phenomenal photographer who truly cared about getting beautiful pictures, which he did. Brian, the videographer, did a great job and let's not forget Valerie, your on site coordinator, who was an absolute angel from the moment we met her.

The entire ceremony went beautifully and even all of the butterflies flew on cue. We did have some sprinkles of the "r" word, but it didn't ruin a thing and we were later told that it was a Hawaiian blessing.

Planning a wedding in Maui from CT and not seeing anything first hand (flowers, restaurant, location) was very stressful for me. But I have to say, everything my wedding planner chose was the BEST ~ the photographer Bruce Forester captured every emotion we had throughout the ceremony in his pictures, the minister performed our ceremony from his heart with deep meaning to his every word, the on-site coordinator Sandy pampered me from the minute I stepped out of the car to the minute I left, and the beach location was absolutely gorgeous! I worked with 2 wedding planners always getting the attention I needed. Rick was so patient in helping me chose my flowers which turned out to be absolutely BEAUTIFUL and Vickie's recommendation for our dinner reception of 'Fleetwoods on Front Street' was the GREATEST!! Fleetwood's event planner Jill was wonderful in helping me chose wines, appetizers, and the food for our buffet. Our guests were in awe when Mic appeared and played the drums! Our ‘Dream Wedding’ turned out better than I expected thanks to the team of Dolphin Dream Weddings!!! Mahalo (a million times)

Wedding Vow Renewal

Vickie was awesome in helping us plan our wedding vow renewal ceremony in Maui. She picked the perfect minister (Charles) who was so friendly and kind. Also the perfect hair dresser/makeup artist to do my hair (Lori). and her assistant Valerie who took over 600 (yes 600 hundred +) photos on my I phone to save the memories.
The lady who made my flower bouquet was also extremely talented and also the lady who laid out the flowers on the beach. Everything was just perfect and just what I had dreamed about for a beach wedding. The venue was the Kapalua Bay and was perfect for a sunset vow renewal ceremony. Thanks to Vickie, everything went smoothly and I highly recommend her services.

My husband and I got married on Keawakapu Beach in Maui on October 10, 2010 at sunset. We started planning our wedding with Vickie more than a year in advance. She was amazing to work with! She always responded to my many questions promptly and I felt totally comfortable planning my wedding with her from many miles away (we live in Northern Canada)! Vickie and her staff are great to work with! I needed a wedding planner for our vow renewal on Maui and Dolphin Dream Weddings "ticked" all the boxes. I live in California, and I thought it was going to be difficult to plan our ceremony with the time differences, however, Vickie would promptly email or call me back. She recommended Kapalua Bay for our wedding site because it is close to our hotel in Kaanapali, and it was the perfect place! Dolphin Dream Weddings offers a vow renewal package that is priced just right. I was able to add-on flower leis (they were beautiful) for my children and a photographer, who took pictures with my camera. I was able to even request a Hawaiian ceremony. I am looking forward to use them again!

Deciding on a destination wedding in Maui was the best decision we could have made for our special day. After looking at numerous wedding planners on the web, we chose Vickie at Love Maui Weddings and the In the Name of Love package and it turned out to be beyond our wildest dreams!

As we live in Scotland all our correspondence was via email and this proved to be no problem. Right from the outset Vickie was prompt at replying to emails - due to us being 8 hours ahead I would usually send an email in the evening, go to bed and a friendly email filled with lots of detailed information, advice and guidance would be waiting for me when I woke up! Vickie always took the time to make her e-mails chatty which made it very personal.

We decided to have our wedding ceremony on the lawn at Merriman's which was suggested by Vickie as we wanted a venue which was semi private. The venue hire charge was certainly worth paying as we had the perfect setting with Kapalua Bay as the backdrop and also allowed us to have more flexibility in the range of photos & our video - lawn, beach, lava rocks beside the ocean.

Our wedding day was perfect and ran very smoothly and that is all down to Vickie and her amazing team and suppliers - my hair and make up by Beth was absolutely beautiful - my up-do stayed in place on what was a VERY windy day; Laki our wedding minister conducted a unique service which was romantic and meaningful with a little humour which put us completely at ease (particularly as you don't have a rehearsal - no problem whatsoever!), flowers by Sunya were gorgeous; both our wedding photos by Lizada Photography & video by YourWebcast were amazing, Alika on the Ukelele was fabulous and it was great having Debbie as our onsite co-ordinator there ensuring everything went to plan.

If you are looking for a stress free way to organise your wedding, I would definitely recommend a destination wedding and use Love Maui Weddings.

Love Maui was a great choice.

Vickie and Rick at Love Maui were amazing at helping me coordinate a Vow Renewal Ceremony at Kapalua Beach on Maui. The ceremony was for our 50th anniversary and was a surprise for my wife. From my first contact with Vickie, she understood exactly what I was looking for. She also helped me keep it a secret from my wife by emails, texting, and scheduling phone calls. it was a beautiful setting, complete with rainbows. Vickie helped keep it a surprise right up to the time the Kahu came down onto the beach to lead us through our vows. Family and friends were able to join us through a Zoom live-stream. The photographer, Kela, and the videographer, Brian, were friendly, professional, and great. Special thanks to Kahu Charles Nahale and Vickie. These are good people.

I just want to personally Thank you and Love Maui Weddings for all that you did to make my daughter’s wedding so special. I am so thankful for all the help that you personally gave them. We were so nervous to put our trust into someone we had never met to help us with this very important life event, their wedding. You made it so easy to trust in you and your company and you treated us with the upmost professionalism. Professional personalized vow renewal

All we had to do was show up. Vicki was professional yet personable in planning our 40th anniversary on the beautiful little beach at Makena Cove at sunset. Communication was always quick to respond and payed attention to what we wanted. She did everything to give us an event well beyond what we could have imagined. Her coordinator, Shannon, arrived at the location a head of time and made the most beautiful ring of flowers, where we stood to say our vows. The ceremony was wonderful, Hawaiian officiant blessings and our own vows. Brian did the videography and put it all together with music, again, professionally well done. Caesar was the professional photographer. They both took their time and patience and care with our physical limits. But back to Shannon, the coordinator on site. She is such a lovely calming presence. She was so attentive to the little and the big. We are on either side of 70 and have limits in mobility. That didn’t matter to any of them, especially Shannon. She went above and beyond what any coordinator would imagine and she did it all with grace and laughter. She allowed me to breathe. Vicki from LOVE Maui Weddings certainly gave us a stress free Vow renewal and I highly recommend her and Rick. Cheryl & Mike

We actually worked with Vickie on my parents' vow renewal ceremony. Vickie was fantastic to work with - very professional, responsive, and worked with us on our special requests. We had a beautiful ceremony on Kapalua Bay with a Hawaiian minister and a photographer. The ceremony was beautiful - Sunset in the background, waves on the shore, palm trees framing the event. I would highly recommend using Dolphin Dream Weddings to all of my family and friends. And make sure to ask for Frank for your photographer. His pictures were the perfect combination of emotion, elegance, scenery, lighting, and fun!

Fantastic Sunset Wedding

Vickie and her team at Love Maui Weddings were fantastic! Although we have visited Maui many times, I had no idea where to start planning. With her help and quick response time, we were able to organize the day of our dreams complete with a (surprise) dolphin jumping in the ocean! Vickie and Rick accommodated our location request and were able to book the photographer, ukulele player and officiant of choice. Andrea, our day of coordinator was fantastic. She even offered to film the ceremony for us so that we might show guests who were not able to attend. I would highly recommend Vickie and Rick and can't wait to come back to our special spot on Maui!

Our wedding experience with Dolphin Dream Weddings EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! With three months to plan our Maui wedding, I was so nervous about everything coming together. Vickie took care of everything, and considering I was planning a wedding from Canada, it was pretty stress free.

My initial phone consultation with Vickie was close to a two hour phone call, she was very informative, and spent the time to answer my questions. I felt like she really listened to me, with my concerns, and what I envisioned for our special day. (I did not get this vibe from the other planners I had spoken to)

Vickie continued to communicate with me almost daily via email or phone, sometimes after hours, while recovering from illness, and looking after a sick relative. I never had to be in touch with any of the vendors, Vickie looked after all of that. I was clear about what I wanted, and she delivered.

I was nervous that there was going to be another wedding coordinator at the estate on the big day, but from the time we arrived to Kukahiko Estate, until we finished taking the last picture, Andrea was there making sure everything went smoothly. I can't say enough about how organized and professional she was!!! Every vendor there, including the hair and makeup girls were kind, patient, and very professional!

Our guests were equally impressed, and most said it was the most beautiful and organized wedding they have ever attended. It really was a "DREAM WEDDING"!

I felt that Vickie and her husband Rick did a fantastic job, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! It's amazing how you can develop a relationship with people you have never met, and I really felt that with Vickie. My only regret, that I didn't get a chance to give her a big hug!!!

I would definitely recommend Love Maui Weddings and Dolphin Dream Weddings to anybody planning a Maui wedding.

So grateful to Vickie and Rick. My husband and I were on the mainland and therefore couldn't really attend to everything. She was able to book our venue (Olowalu Plantation House), made arrangements with our caterer, and on the day of when the rental company forgot to bring furniture we had ordered, she was on it and problem solved in an instant. She's so personable, knowledgable, quick to respond and will even let you know when she won't be available for a few days because she's attending another event (she always keeps you in the loop), and really cares for the couples. I can't recommend her enough!

We booked the "So This is Love" wedding package for our wedding in March, 2015, at Napili Bay in Maui. We were very happy with the way everything turned out.

Vickie was great and takes a very personable approach to dealing with her clients. She's so friendly and makes you feel at ease right away. She answered my millions of emails without making me ever feel like I was a hassle. She never came across as negative or "money-hungry" as another reviewer stated.

The flowers were BEAUTIFUL (I had a cascading bouqet). I was so impressed with these.

The hair/makeup artist was fantastic (sadly, can't remember her name) and despite me not entirely knowing how to describe what I wanted, she made me look like a runway model. Hair was perfect, makeup was perfect (and I can be a critical person when it comes to that stuff).

Our minister (his name was Ernest) was so relaxed and laid back, and was very accommodating of the few changes we made to the ceremony script. He was a really "cool dude" and made me feel comfortable and not at all nervous during the ceremony.

Our photographer (Ceasar) was very efficient and did his best to get everyone wrangled for photos, and seemed to know all the right angles and lighting to get the best shots. I felt that he did rush us a bit and didn't really take the time to be as personable as I would have liked, or to ask us what kind of shots we would prefer, but then again we did have a limited amount of time. 30 prints were included with our package but we opted to upgrade for $400 (!!) to 30 digital copies. Felt it was a bit pricey, but I guess that's standard for photography.

Our wedding coordinator (can't remember her name) was very good and dealt with my take-charge mother in stride. Everyone was in the right place at the right time and there were no issues.

I would definitely recommend Dolphin Dream Weddings/Love Maui Weddings to anyone getting married in Maui!!

Vickie helped us plan our Renewal Ceremony on Maui this past March. We contacted her last fall to help make arrangements for a beach ceremony. Just Maui'd perfectly!

Vicky is so great! She's so responsive and professional. Explained every detail and provided everything she said. Her coordinator, Val is also so wonderful. She's so nice and helpful. Totally shows she enjoys her work. The photographer, Cesar Lizada and his assistant Dean was just so great! So detailed and very professional. He took his time to get the best shots and just fabulous.

The minister, Adam Gomes was just perfect! He made the ceremony so memorable and his genuine words were unforgettable. We had booked someone else originally but he fell ill. We had no idea of the scrambling they had to get for a last minute replacement but Adam was just the perfect Minister for our ceremony.

Vickie was our coordinator and she was very helpful throughout the entire process! She's very prompt with email communication and responds to every question. We had a great experience! It was a bit difficult to plan our wedding since I live in Washington and our wedding was on Maui, but Vickie offered suggestions and made it much easier. The day of our wedding, she helped set everything up and cleaned up at the end. I didn't have to worry about anything! Thank you Vickie and Rick!

Vicki was terrific to deal with, very fast with her email or phone call responses. She is very kind, informative and gracious. Our wedding was perfect! Sooo easy to plan and my flowers were exactly what I wanted. The minister she suggested for us was amazing and said just the right things...our coordinator on site was sweet, helpful and made sure to fix my hair and dress for the pictures as it was fairly windy. I highly recommend Vicki for a stress free , well coordinated wedding!

An expertly-orchestrated beautiful day

Vickie from Love Maui Weddings made our wedding on Maui so memorable and magical. In spite of the Covid craziness all around us, she helped us carve out a safe little pocket of paradise in which to start our new life together. Vicki's know-how and responsiveness ahead of the wedding put us at ease and solved problems we didn't even know existed. And each of the folks who helped us on wedding day were magnificent- the hair, the flowers, the officiant, the photographer, and the caterer all exceeded our expectations with their professionalism, expertise, and fun personalities. I would highly recommend Love Maui Weddings to all couples needing assistance finding the perfect vendors far from home.

We had a great experience with Vicki at Love Maui Weddings. Planning a wedding from out of state is a daunting experience, but with Vicki it went so smoothly. The first time we spoke was over an hour long phone call with more details than we could have imagined. She covered every single possible base. We appreciated all of the recommendations for the location, photographer, and musician. It made it so easy to go through a very stress free wedding planning process.

Vickie and Rick were easy to work with especially since we weere on the mainland and they were in Maui. They coordinated the appropriate vendors and set up our appointment to get a marriage license. The cost a bit high, but saved us alot of running around once we got to Hawaii.

Vickie is a very nice lady and we got an excellent deal but you also get what you pay for. I am a very organized neat freak so I have a high standard when it comes to dealing with people in a business manner. It felt like I was dealing with a friend or family member in the sense that she used personal life excuses to account for small mistakes (Like missing appointments with us or asking me the same question twice because she must not have written it down the first time). To be fair we might have caught her at a time in her life where planning peoples' weddings were getting to be too much for her but then she really shouldn't be doing weddings if that's the case. In the end, she sent a different coordinator to our wedding because she couldn't make it but it turned out great. Sara T. was a great planner, very direct, officiant, and got the job done the way I wanted it.
