I cannot rave about Christen enough! Putting into words about not only how wonderful she is as a person, but how flawlessly she does her job is incredibly difficult. Throughout our time together, Christen has been unbelievably kind, understanding and a beaming light of brightness and positivity!
Her planning documents are top of the line and make it impossible for you to miss a single detail. She is an A+ communicator and made sure every detail with the vendors were worked out well ahead of time. Whenever I was confused or overwhelmed about something (which was a lot), she was committed to helping me sort it out and encouraged me always!
Our wedding day went perfectly and Christen made it flow so seamlessly like the professional that she is. She effortlessly handled family members, vendors, deliveries and so much more while keeping a big smile on her face. She is so well planned that I could enjoy my wedding day and knew that she would take care of the rest. You will need a captain on your wedding day and she is the best there is! She is a diamond in the rough and I really wish that I had more events for her to plan because she is just THAT good at what she does. Thank You Christen!!!!! One million stars! -

No Worry Wedding Day
Christen Westcott is a joy to work with and went above and beyond to make our day amazing.
Firstly, she has flexible plans to accommodate your needs. I was able to do a large bulk of the planning but needed someone who had resources, foresight of what details to be aware of, and could double check our work. Our wedding venue only required a day-of coordinator but we opted for the 90-day, but honestly it felt like she was there every step of the way.
She was absolutely indispensable creating our day of timeline, and meeting with vendors such as the DJ, venue, and photographers to make sure everyone was on the same page. She is HIGHLY communicative and her planning document is 10/10 pure solid gold. She clearly has networked in the Dallas/Fort Worth area well and was very familiar with great local vendors.
Day of she double checked things with me that were big, and if there were small hiccups I didn't know about it! Wrangled family lovingly, made sure transitions went smoothly, and even brought items to the venue for us so that I could not have the mental weight day of. She also got us refunds for misprinted invites and wrong colored items.
Personality wise she is sweet, very easy to talk to, understanding, calm, composed, and with a sprinkle of wild to keep it fun for whatever idea you might want to try to make your wedding authentically yours.

Working with Christen was an absolute dream! I could not recommend Look West Events enough! One of the best parts of working with her, was that she really made sure that ALL of our hard work came to life on our wedding day! She took care of things that we didn't even think of, and made the ENTIRE process look so easy! As a couple who had a very short engagement, Christen came in and absolutely BLEW us away by how efficient and quick she is! We never had to worry about things getting done, or forgetting ANYTHING, it was amazing. Not only that, but she is incredibly charismatic and friendly, she could get along with just about anyone! Her sweet and fun personality was able to calm all my fears and anxiousness about our big day. My husband and I were definitely set up for success as soon as we booked her. If you are looking for someone who will come alongside you and your spouse on your very-special-day, we would absolutely recommend her! 🤩

Where do I begin? Christen is a professional, friend, and dare I say an honorary therapist? I‘ve had the pleasure of working with her at a wedding as a fellow vendor, and hiring her to plan my own. I purchased the 90 day package, but Christen was immediately ready and willing to start planning out our schedule when I asked about it. She is so kind, and a wonderful listener and truly wants to make your day the best. She’s also firm with vendors if there’s an inconsistency in their contracts and even empowered me to push back for what I wanted (and it worked)! She was very patient, professional, and positive with a difficult vendor on my wedding day. She prioritized peace over her pride on my big day. She was my emotional support during some pre-wedding day meltdowns and insecurities, andI couldn’t be more grateful for her. PLEASE hire Christen. Christen is the best!!! As a newlywed, let me offer you 2 pieces of advice. Firstly, the BEST investment you can make while planning your wedding is to hire a wedding planner. Secondly, the BEST wedding planner you can hire is Christen with Look West Events. I was a graduate student with a full-time job at the time of planing my wedding, and there is no way I would have been able to handle everything without the help of Christen. She has an invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience with venues, possible vendors, and anything else you can think of. She operates with a level of professionalism that far exceeds expectations and does such a good job communicating with everyone involved. There were several times other vendors complimented how organized and put together Christen was. I was able to completely trust Christen with anything I needed throughout the whole process and she was such a warm, kind, and funny spirit that helped everything to be stress free!! My wedding planning experience and wedding day went without a hitch and that is a testament to Christen as a planner.Look West Events's reply:

Simply put, Christen is the best! I absolutely love her. If you are looking for a planner to assist you with a wedding, look no further. We worked together on my daughter’s wedding for over a year and did not worry about one single thing! The wedding went perfectly, everything was stress free and as Mother of the Bride, that was HUGE!
Christen is a wonderful person and wedding planner. She is kind, lovely, thoughtful, smart, detail oriented, resourceful, persistent and extremely dependable.

BEST VENDOR! You NEED Christen and the Look West Events team throughout the wedding planning/ coordinating process of your wedding. TRUST ME. Christen made my wedding dreams come true. There is not one person I could thank enough for everything she did for me. Christen is the most genuine person and is willing to do WHATEVER you need. She was very organized throughout the process and ensured I knew what I needed to do next. If I couldn’t do it, she was the first to step in and tell me she could help! She made everything so smooth and easy for my family and me. On the wedding day, everyone was able to relax and enjoy the day because of Christen. I never had to second guess if everything was done because Christen knew my vision and how I wanted everything set up. She helped ensure the family and guests were having a great time. Christen was absolutely AMAZING and VITAL for our wedding day to go as beautifully and smoothly as it did. Christen has such a great personality that really clicked with me and my husband. She helped use coordinate and plan our wedding with the tools she created and provided, but she wanted to make sure we were taking the reins on what we wanted on our day. She provided suggestions from her past experiences with planning and coordinating other weddings, and they were things we never even thought to consider so I am so thankful she was with us every step of the way! All of my bridesmaids and both of our families thought she was wonderful and was able to answer any questions thrown her way by both my husband and I and the wedding party and family. Also, on the actual day (as the Bride) she didn't ask me a lot of questions or bother me with any mishaps or drama that was happening so I wouldn't stress the small stuff. I don't know if we can ever thank Christen and her Look West Events team enough for all they did for us! As an out-of-town couple, we needed someone to help us manage everything from afar. Christen is so organized and her monthly meetings seriously kept us on track while also making the entire experience so much fun. It's like she'd read my mind and know exactly what I needed and provided us with all the resources to accomplish our vision. I cannot begin to express with words how valuable Christen's services were for our wedding. I am a soon-to-be physician and my husband and I both run on very busy schedules. Christen came on to help us plan and coordinate our small 40-person wedding 2 months before the big day. From the moment we hired her, she was our partner in the process. She is an excellent communicator, is extremely organized, and highly resourceful. She helped us work through any challenges that came up. For example, 2 days before our wedding we found out that our ceremony arch plans fell through, and Christen found us a beautiful back-up arch in less than 24 hours! She makes it clear that her priority is to make the process as stress-free as possible for the couple, and she definitely exceeded that goal! Christen was absolutely essential to the success of our event! We were one of the many couples that had to reschedule due to COVID and Christen was right there with us every step of the way. We did month of coordination but with delays and rescheduling we ended up working with Christen for a little over a year. We felt supported from the very beginning and thanks to Christen being very communicative we always felt like we were all on the same page. Her experience and expertise helped us make a number of key decisions that led to a perfect day. One example is her telling us the hair and makeup timeline we had was unrealistic and we should consider bringing on assistants; she was right because even with the extra help we ran a little bit over! So grateful for that tip, amongst others. Also really appreciate that she had so many good recommendations for other vendors.
Per my dad “Christen was everywhere at once”. Not once during the day was I worried, because I knew Christen was handling everything. She kept me up-to-date but only with essential information and made sure things were running smoothly. Many of our guests commented on how well things flowed and Christen is a big reason for that. In addition to looking after us at the wedding she also took care of our families and we all really appreciated that.
Not only would I recommend Christen to anyone looking for a coordinator/planner, but all my vendors would as well. My photographers, DJ, florist, can venue captain comments on how great Christen was to work with.
