Me and my now wonderful husband got married. On 10/4/2023, the day was chaotic and had hiccups that every bride runs into. But John and Julie smoothed it over and saved the day.
It was wonderful and beautiful and so relaxed. They made you feel like family and offer the shirts off their back if needed.
You can tell that they clearly love what they do and offer to stay in contact even now that the wedding is over.
And they are the reason that our forever gets to start on the perfect foot. They were there every step of the day, making sure your needs, wants and sanity stayed in place.
We can't thank them enough for everything that they did everything they have done, and everything they will do for those in the future.
If you get a chance to at least tour the venue, I highly recommend it.
You will not even consider or look at

WOW I can’t say enough good things about this venue! Not only was it breath taking and the perfect venue, but it includes a whole closet full of decor to choose from! John and Julie were the BEST. So helpful and ready to answer any questions or help with anything. Not to mention you get this beautiful venue for the whole weekend! My guests have not stopped talking about how beautiful the venue you was. 10000/5 stars! -

John and Julie are the most kind and helpful people you will ever meet and help to plan your wedding. Obviously the venue is immaculate from the Fest Haus, Pavillion, Gazeebo to the two cabins provided. We had so many compliments on the venue and how peaceful and beautiful it was. John and Julie communicated with us throughout every step and were trouble shooting potential issues days before the wedding to insure we had the best wedding day. I can't say enough about them and how awesome they are. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a venue! -

Beautiful venue and we had the most wonderful experience here. We had to plan our wedding from a few states away, and we booked this place sight-unseen after doing a virtual meeting with Julie and John. They're wonderfully accommodating, responsive, and so caring. The venue has spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, indoor reception, and outdoor reception without guests having to travel. They also have "magic closet" with a ton of decor options; we did all of our centerpieces from there and saved a lot of money on florals while still looking gorgeous and professional. Best of all, you get the venue from Friday night through Sunday morning, and there are two separate cabins with three bedrooms each for the bridal party. They even include bonfires on Friday and Saturday nights! They are also extremely attentive; it began to threaten rain about 30 minutes into my reception, and they automatically moved everything under the pavilion and setup the DJ underneath a tent without our having to ask. I could not have asked for a better wedding experience, and recommend them enthusiastically! -

I cannot say enough positive things about Little Piney, our wedding venue was everything I ever wanted for a dreamy, whimsical, outdoor wedding. So many guests told us they had never been to such a unique venue and complimented us on how well-planned our day was. John and Julie are a dream. They helped everything run so smoothly from making sure a poker surprise for the groomsmen was set up, to loaning us some butter, driving us around the property on golf-carts, locating my extra pair of shoes, and bringing us appetizers from the cocktail hour when we were hungry after all the pictures. The best part was that we were able to rent the venue for Friday-Sunday and the wedding party could stay on-site with us, making it an enjoyable weekend with friends and family instead of simply being a one-day event. They really emphasize how low-stress they want everything to be. We ended up booking them again after our 2021 wedding date was postponed due to the pandemic because we couldn't let go of such a beautiful venue. They have 3 locations for your wedding (a gazebo, a pavilion, and a barn), and are very accommodating in case the weather changes. They allow you to bring in your own caterer/bartender and bring your own alcohol, which helped us keep those costs down. They are the perfect venue for a diy couple. Book them now, you won't regret it. -

The staff at Little Piney were absolutely wonderful and amazing to work with. We booked this venue almost two years prior to our wedding, and they took care of us throughout that entire time. Any time we had a question or concern, they were right on top of it, and always responded so quickly. They truly made sure that we had an amazing day and did everything to make sure we didn't have any hiccups. The venue was gorgeous and magical, and Little Piney will always hold a special place in our hearts. -

If you are looking for a venue that literally is there for you every single step of the way, who is willing to go above and beyond, then you need to go to Little Piney! I cannot day enough amazing things about this place!! The owners, John and Julie, were their for us every single moment we needed us and even when we didn’t need them; they came to check on us and make sure that everything was perfect! We had a few little hiccups, where my dad was staying down town, started flooding and my wedding dress was there, and Julie offered to go there and pick it up for me!!! That’s going above and beyond!!! But she offered with zero hesitation. Y’all - book your wedding here! It’s the PERFECT place!! I can’t wait to go back and visit! -

Going to see the venue, I was a bit nervous — it was a bit outside our price point. But let me tell you, one of the best decisions my husband has ever made (besides marrying me, of course), was to push us toward this venue. John and Julie are such wonderful, loving people. They worked with us through all the nagging questions, the changes, the "oh gosh, why are we having a wedding during a pandemic" nerves. They were a dream to work with, and the venue is just as beautiful as their hearts. We brought in less than a hundred dollars of our own decor because the magic closet had almost everything we needed. And the area is so gorgeous that it doesn't need much to give it that magic touch. John and Julie even let my husband and I hang out on the dock the morning after, so we could spend our first morning as a married couple praying together and taking in the beauty around us. We have absolutely adored our experience! -

So not only is the entire venue stunning, complete with private quarters for wedding parties, a beautiful ceremony spot, a spacious reception area, and a lovely little pond, but the owners are also INCREDIBLE to work with. They made my job so much easier, and their kiddos were so helpful the entire day. Little Piney Lodge is one of the best venues I've ever worked at, and I can't wait to come back! -

Little Piney was the absolute best venue we could have imagined choosing as the setting for our special day. The owners of this venue are incredible people that have created an oasis for a smooth-flowing event. Little Piney is truly a breathtaking backdrop for all of our photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. I knew the moment I came to see this venue that it was ‘the one’ and it far exceeded our expectations. The value provided in this venue is unmatched in price and quality. To be able to hold our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all in the same was extremely unique and made things so seamless. My husband and I would recommend this venue over and over and would give 10 stars if we could! -

Jamie Sent on 11/08/2017There is just so much that I could say about Little Piney Lodge.. I don't know if I will ever be able to stop. I'll start with Jon and Julie. From the beginning they were kind and helpful and I knew from the moment I met THEM that this was going to be our venue. Little Piney Lodge is beyond beautiful on it's own but knowing that we would be fully taken care of by Jon and Julie really sealed the deal. They make it very clear that they are all about you having a relaxing, amazing day and that they will do everything in their power to make sure that happens. And guess what folks, they do just that. We booked them a year and a half out and they were available when I had questions and always responded quickly. One of the best parts about this venue is that when you reserve it (on a Saturday), it is yours from Friday at 11 until Sunday at 11.. and I can NOT tell you how much easier that made everything. We could bring everything in and set up on Friday and then JUST CHILL on Sat until we had to start getting ready. Jon and Julie were raring to go when we arrived and helped us set up and figure out where everything goes, so on and so fourth. She and Jon, along with our amazing coordinator, 100% made our day the most amazing it could have possibly been. There are so many ways that they went above and beyond for us.. I will never forget them. I will cry right now I swear.. :) -

Eileen Sent on 09/02/2015We chose Little Piney because we were looking for a beautiful outside venue with indoor capabilities in case of inclement weather. This venue is gorgeous and there is so much to see on site. The word that comes to mind is relaxed, we didn't want to leave after our tour! Julie and John are very warm and welcoming people, accommodating, and seem to genuinely want to make your day the best it can be. They have been very receptive to questions and very helpful with the planning process. The price for Friday morning to Sunday morning is a steal when you add up all the items included (tables, chairs, sound system, accommodations for up to 12 for 2 nights, etc.). We can't wait for our wedding day and feel very confidant in our decision to book Little Piney. -

Nicole Sent on 11/12/2014BEAUTIFUL venue. Karen and her husband were great to work with. Very friendly. I was able to choose from 3 different locations on the property for my ceremony and reception. They had an outdoor pavilion, an indoor barn, and a gazebo overlooking a beautiful pond. The 2 lodges were a great, relaxing addition to the weekend. Having the property for the entire weekend helped make decorating and getting ready so much more relaxing and enjoyable. There was shuttle services offered to my guests to move from parking lot to ceremony pavilion site, and then to the indoor barn for my reception. Especially beneficial to my elderly guests and women wearing heels. Great place for a beautiful rustic wedding. -

Amazing!!!!!!!
Our wedding was amazing and it is mostly thanks to us having this beautiful wedding venue. Every email question they answered within a day, every phone call/text message was answered just as quickly! They were super helpful and so down to earth during the whole wedding planning process and we are so thankful for that. The beauty of the venue was captured perfectly in our perfect day and every guest left after the day speechless. We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone getting married in mid Missouri. -
