If you want to look good, feel good, and have genuinely amazing looking makeup all day on your wedding day--book a trial with LiSun Goh Beauty ASAP! I wanted a natural but "more" look for my day--LiSun was not only really great at helping this come to life, she was very kind and helpful on making sure someone like myself, who is more focused on skincare versus makeup, were on the same page on looks as well as what I observed in my makeup trial to make sure the day of makeup was perfect! My wedding day was a long one, with a morning ceremony and evening reception, where my makeup was still in place and excellent (with expected touch ups to lips as ya girl has to eat)!
Add that she is a delightful professional and person to be around, I would recommend her in a heartbeat and look forward to the day I need non-wedding makeup MUA sessions.
Logistics for those who want clear experience on this this:
-Her studio is easy parking, just follow her directions to make it to the correct door.
-Do your Pinterest board ASAP--she is quick to review and it does help flush out more information if you're not as savvy on this.
-During the makeup trial LiSun covers Q&A as well as matches your skintone needs and lash type and length to make day of a seamless experience. I'm sure this is standard (or assuming as the last MUA I have used was many years ago and not for bridal makeup), but the way it was handled was of a caliber that put me at ease for day of and made it feel strongly value added.
Will add photos when wedding pics are back but I didn't want to delay in reviewing as LiSun really was an amazing artist and person to work with and I will shamelessly rave about her because of it. -

Highly recommend LiSun for any makeup services! LiSun executed my desired wedding look pretty spot on during our trial, and the final wedding day makeup was even better! She was prompt and efficient, keeping me on my timeline and ensuring a stress-free morning for my entire wedding party. My bridesmaids all loved how they looked and us all having our makeup done really paid off in the photos and overall cohesion as a wedding party. LiSun was professional, sweet, and fun! I could not be happier with her and her work. -

LiSun was the makeup artist for my small backyard wedding this last summer, and I had such a great experience working with her. She did a great job the day of for me and the ladies in the family. She is clearly very experienced and ran the day very smoothly. I opted to have a trial with her and she was very receptive to the feedback from that. She also brought her experience to the requests from the other ladies the day of, making sound recommendations based on their preferences and resulting in looks that everyone was happy with. She offers a more natural and glowing look that I think she absolutely delivered on. I appreciated that she never upsold services or pressured me into additional purchases. I did opt for a Yumi lash lift with her instead of falsies and am very happy with the resulting look.
One thing to note is that she does not do hair, which was not a big deal for us as I just went to a salon the morning of. She also does have a minimum that can be met as long as a few others are interested in makeup services besides the bride. When I was shopping around, her prices were a little on the higher side than average, but they seem fair given the quality of products she uses and her skills. -

Lisun is incredible
LiSun is AMAZING. She is so talented and has mastered the natural but elevated bridal makeup look. I felt so confident and beautiful on my wedding day and my makeup stayed the entire night, yet somehow did not look nor feel "caked on." As a woman who doesn't wear makeup on the daily, I was so nervous about not feeling like myself on my wedding day, but LiSun made me feel 100% like myself, but elevated. LiSun is such a joy to work with: so organized, detail-oriented (she asks such thoughtful and helpful questions re what you do/don't like makeup wise and your skincare routine), and gives the best advice for leading up to wedding day for you and any people who will also receive makeup services. I cannot recommend LiSun enough. Thank you, LiSun, for bringing the best energy and helping me, my brideswomen, and the moms feel beautiful, confident, and like ourselves, on my wedding day.

LiSun helped me feel and look beautiful in my own skin on my wedding day. My goal was to feel beautiful and shine in photos, but still recognize myself as me. Professional makeup for myself and the ladies in my party was honestly something I was willing to cut back on for the budget, but after seeing the care and energy LiSun puts into her work and creating a positive environment for her clients, I knew it was worth the spend. And I was right. My ladies loved our prep email and it really helped to take the heat off me leading up to the wedding (so. many. questions.) by having LiSun proactively help us prep. What I loved most (beyond my face) was that I didn’t have to worry. I could trust LiSun from the get-go and that was priceless. I’d recommend her to any bride. -

LiSun is amazing!!!! After reading reviews online I was so excited to book her for my wedding make up. She was so flexible, easy-going, and professional in the lead up to the wedding - asking me to send inspiration pictures and coming SO prepared for the actual day. I asked for a natural, sun-kissed look and that's pretty much all I had to say - LiSun worked her magic and it was everything I could have dreamed of. The make up felt light yet was resilient to tears, sweat, and stayed on all night. LiSun also brought along an epic playlist that got all the girls in the right headspace before the festivities began. Don't hesitate to hire her, she is the best decision I made (besides my fiancé)! -

LiSun was amazing to work with for our wedding day. The things I looked for in vendors were quality of work and reliability, and LiSun delivered on both! As a person who doesn’t use make up very often at all, LiSun applied a natural glam look that didn’t feel heavy, still looked like me, but also made me feel my very best. And despite the warm weather and tears, my make up lasted and didn’t fall out or smudge throughout the entire day. LiSun is very responsive, professional, and made the experience so seamless and comfortable. I felt like I was in good hands since the initial consultation. If you are planning on getting married in the Seattle area, look no further and book LiSun immediately!
When I got engaged in December 2018, the first two vendors we booked were 1) the venue and 2) the photographers. Through the photographer's Instagram page, I found a previous wedding where the bride had LiSun as her hair and makeup artist. What I liked about the bride's makeup look was that it was glam enough to show through pictures, but natural enough that the bride still looked like herself. I sent her an email immediately and was grateful she was available.
After two postponements and almost 3 years later, I finally met LiSun for my hair/makeup trial and wedding day. During these two times that I worked with LiSun, she has been nothing but professional and so kind! I loved my bridal look -- hair up in a lovely low bun and blush eye makeup. As a person who barely wears any makeup, I was happy that I still looked like myself on my wedding day. I even appreciated that my freckles were still intact.
LiSun and her team were all so sweet to my friends and family as well. Collectively, this was the first time that myself, my friends, and family got their hair and makeup professionally done. All our experiences were so positive and we enjoyed how seamless everything was. And more importantly, they made my entire bridal party look snatched! Thank you, LiSun for being a part of our special day -

LiSun is the BEST!!!! She made me feel so beautiful on our wedding day - the perfect natural look that made me feel like myself but more polished. Not only is she AMAZING at her job (and so willing to work with you, for example on my trial I didn't like how dark my eye makeup was, and then on the wedding day she executed PERFECTLY with that feedback, without even me having to remind her), she is also just a delightful person and so so kind. I would HIGHLY recommend LiSun to anyone (not just brides) who wants to look and feel beautiful for whatever type of engagement they have. She is not only talented in what she does but her presence and personality are beautiful as well (not to mention she brings her own music with a killer playlist). LiSun did my makeup as well as my sisters/moms for my wedding and I’m so glad I found her. LiSun is super responsive and quick to respond to inquiries, questions, or just nailing down info. She is VERY detail-oriented in everything she does - from start to finish you know she is going to make you look your very best. She also is very clean - she sanitizes her station and brushes which is perfect for this period of time we are going through. Her approach to makeup isn’t to layer on makeup but to really enhance your features in the best way, which is perfect for someone who doesn’t wear a ton of makeup to begin with and wants to go for a natural look for their special day. I felt beyond beautiful for my wedding and the makeup lasted all night long. I look forward to working with LiSun for any future events I have! -

I cannot say enough great things about LiSun! LiSun did my bridal makeup for our elopement and it was everything I had envisioned and MORE. The makeup lasted and stayed on beautifully the whole day. For someone who doesn’t wear makeup that often, I wanted a more “natural” look and she did just that.
Since I am not from Washington and was flying in for our elopement, everything was done over the phone or Zoom. From the initial phone consultation to our Zoom bridal trial, LiSun made me feel at ease and went over everything in great detail. She made the whole process super easy!
She is so sweet, personable, professional, prompt, has great communication, and her makeup skills are out of this world! I HIGHLY recommend LiSun Goh Beauty. -

Emergency Elopement Hair and Makeup
LiSun was such a pleasure to work with for my elopement hair and makeup! There was a massive snowstorm the weekend of my wedding and my original makeup artist was snowed in. I texted LiSun the morning of with an SOS and she graciously trekked through the snow and arrived at my hotel within an hour. She is such a sweet person to work with and took every COVID precaution to make me feel safe and beautiful! Definitely looking forward to working with her in the future! -

I would definitely recommend LiSun to any bride who wants to look natural, but prettier than normal on her wedding day!
I got in touch with LiSun pretty close to my wedding day, after plans fell through with my original makeup artist. Thankfully she was super responsive, and we were able to schedule a trial the next week.
LiSun takes a lot of precautions during covid so I felt very safe. She uses a palette knife to scoop out the product first, so that no brush ever contaminates the makeup. I appreciated her attention to sanitation and cleanliness. She took feedback during the trial, and created a look that was very soft and pretty. She's also very organized, and helped set a timeline so that everyone's makeup was done on time on the day-of.
I'd highly recommend LiSun as a makeup artist to anyone looking for a stress-free wedding day! -

Simply Magical!
LiSun is an amazing make-up artist! I am so thankful my friend found her for my wedding!!! I decided to do a bridal make-up trial a week or so beforehand at LiSun's cute studio. I noticed right away that she followed COVID safety guidelines and was very nice and welcoming. Her studio was very clean and tidy. A huge bonus was that she has the cutest little frenchie, Frankie, who was very eager to greet me. I have never gotten professionally done up before, so I had a lot of questions. She worked with my inspiration look and I got a good idea of how I'd look day of.
Day of, she was right on time to our Airbnb with the hair stylist, Laura Paulson. She set up and got to work on the bridal party right away. It was so fun to see my friends' transformations! The make-up and lashes LiSun used worked really well on each of my ladies' faces and skin types. Everyone looked gorgeous. As the bride, my make-up was done last. I left a lot up to her, since I really liked how my bridesmaids looks came out. Ladies, the transformation is real! The make-up felt light and breathable on my skin. I looked great all day long (tears, sweat, and a little snot included!). She worked at a great pace, put us at ease, and brought a great playlist to boot!
I just got the photos from our photographer, and I am blown away with how natural our make-up appears! I cannot recommend LiSun Goh enough. She was nice, professional, on time, has great color theory and application. I trusted her with my face for my big day and she did not disappoint! I would highly recommend booking her and Laura together. These two ladies have worked seamlessly as a team many times before! -

Destination Wedding Makeup in Playa del Carmen, Mexico
LiSun was amazing to work with on my wedding day! She traveled all the way to Playa del Carmen, Mexico for my big day and did my makeup along with seven other bridesmaids. From the get go I could tell that she is very organized and is passionate about what she does - is also super knowledgeable about many different products. She did an amazing job with all of our makeup application! My wedding day location was very hot and humid and our makeup was able to withstand the heat and sweat. At the end of the night we even jumped into a pool at the wedding venue and all of our makeup was still gorgeous! LiSun is so sweet and is able to bring out a natural beauty in each of her clients. Oh my gosh. I can’t say enough great things about my wedding hair and make-up and the amazing woman behind them! Lisun took my vision and made it even better in reality. Amazing time working with LiSun!
Our wedding was on July 27, 2019 and with LiSun and her two assistants working on my 7 bridesmaids, mother and mother in law and sister in law, AND me, we had quite the full house! But they were very efficient, made everyone look flawless, and on top of that, they were fun girls to joke around with in the early morning!
LiSun was great throughout my whole year of wedding planning. She had great recommendations for a hairstylist, even did an extra hair trail for me when I wanted to change it at a discount, and let’s not forget her cute puppy Frankie that welcomed me every time I saw her!
Overall, I would definitely recommend LiSun and her team! -

I am so glad I entrusted my HAMU to LiSun - she was phenomenal, professional, and talented! She was always reachable and very responsive via email. The makeup trial run went great, we met at her clean, cute studio and she did not rush the process and asked me about my preferences. She was on time and ready to go on my wedding day and even when I had last minute changes -she was flexible and gave me the exact bridal look I envisioned: soft, romantic and natural. I didn't want to look too glammed up and I still wanted to look and feel like myself. The false eyelashes she put on felt super natural all day and the airbrush foundation is a must: so lightweight and great coverage. She was aware of my tight timeline and kept things moving along and was assertive in getting everyone out of my room when I got super stressed out by the noise and crowdedness. My make up and hair lasted all night and looked great in all my photos! I absolutely would recommend LiSun for hair and make up on your special day!

She did an incredible job on my hair and makeup and truly made me look and feel like my most beautiful self for my wedding. LiSun made me feel at ease for both the trial and on my wedding day and ensured my expectations were both realistic and met at the same time. Even though I changed my mind a lot throughout the trial, she stuck with me every step of the way and offered her expert opinion and eased my anxieties. I had a great experience getting my wedding hair and makeup done with Lisun!
Lisun did a really great job taking the effort to understand the look I was trying to achieve from the beginning, and made suggestions along the way, I wouldn't have been able to come up on my own.
For the hair, I wanted to do an updo, but when we did the trial, the hair was lacking in volume, so after I mentioned hair extensions, Lisun emailed me later, recommending I could use hair pads and save a lot of money. We ended up doing that and it looked good!
For the makeup, she was even able to cover up some acne scars I had on my back, for no extra cost! The scars didn't show in the pictures, which was great. Also, I got lash lifts from Lisun, which was a more natural way to curl and tint my lashes than lash perms or other harsh treatments, and was happy to see, the curls lasted over a month after the wedding!
I felt like Lisun and her crew were professional throughout. She sent helpful tips the week of the wedding, to help me and the girls prepare, too.
Highly recommend! -
