If you are deciding whether or not to hire a planner, or deciding between multiple planners....Blue Fancy IS IT. I knew from the second I got on the phone with Meredith that she was going to be amazing, and she definitely exceeded all my expectations. Her and her team went above and beyond to make my wedding the most spectacular day I could have ever dreamed. Meredith is so wonderful to work with and we became fast friends for life! She knew exactly what I wanted, before I could even articulate it myself. Her knowledge of the industry and vendor relationships is unmatched. She will do whatever it takes to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Her vision is spot on, and she sure knows how to make something stand out visually. Meredith is always available and such a great communicator. She is up front, honest, personable, hilarious and truly a gem. Not to mention, her calm demeanor was exactly what I needed on the day of my wedding. She totally kept me calm and took on every hiccup without me ever knowing what was going on. If I could give Chloe 6 stars I would. She executed our wedding flawlessly at the Pfister on 10.25.25. Chloe is incredibly detail oriented, organized, so calm and relaxed, and a true professional. I was a type
A bride, and she was so helpful with every question I had and every clarification I needed. She was so hands on with my venue coordinator and vendors and truly brought my vision to life. From ensuring my husband and I didn’t see each other before the ceremony, to lining up my bridal party, lighting last minute candles and ensuring the vendors had everything the needed, she went above and beyond. Truly very talented at her job and you will so happy to have her on your day. -

The flowers! The disco balls! The food! The music!! Oh, where to begin?! From the start, my husband, Joe, and I were unsure if we even wanted a full-service planner. I had a pretty good idea of what I liked, was pretty crafty, and had been to dozens of other weddings - I was a self-proclaimed wedding pro. However, we quickly discovered that living in Texas and planning a wedding in Wisconsin was not an easy task.
From the time we took our first call with Ella, we knew we wanted her on our side. Her honesty and evident knowledge of the industry floored us and made us feel a sense of security we didn’t have when speaking to vendors on our own. Every step of the way, Ella not only held our hands and explained why “this” was better than “that”, etc. etc. She also made sure to keep our vision of the day at the forefront of every decision and every suggestion. Never at any point did we feel like we were just “another couple” receiving the same recommendations/advice. She made us feel seen, heard, and gave us a wedding that truly captured our love and felt so authentically “us.”
Like most women, I had BIG dreams - very expensive, very unrealistic, very non-budget conscious dreams. Instead of just telling me “no,” Ella always listened, and when things sounded impossible, she thought of creative ways to bring my Pinterest vision to life. I am happy to report that in some way, shape, or form, I got everything I ever wished for out of a wedding. And my husband is happy to report that we did it all within budget! Yay!
Throughout the wedding planning process, we continuously received feedback from our family and friends on how “relaxed” we appeared. (which was very strange if you knew me in real life) It was all Ella! Our regular check-ins always left us feeling excited for what was to come! She was organized, responsive, and knew the exact things to say when we were uneasy about a decision.
And yes, there were the inevitable hiccups, when isn’t there? But Ella handled everything before we ever noticed. Our guests raved, we got to be present in every moment, and it truly was the best day ever. Thinking about it now has me beaming!
Ella and her team were literally worth every penny. We can’t get married again (though we’d gladly hire her twice!), but we can sing her praises. You won’t regret it, promise!! -

Ella was like a capable, skilled maestro directing an orchestra of vendors, wedding party, family, & ushers. From the first conversation I had with her (after stressful conversations with other coordinators), I knew we'd be in the right hands with Ella and her team (Brooke). Ella took sooo much stress off my shoulders in the last month when every vendor needs something from you through our wedding - when she handled every issue that came up, usually without even telling me. She exercised great judgement and is so capable - a rare trait nowadays. I am so happy we chose Light as a feather for our wedding coordinator and so thankful to Ella & Brooke for their productive work - we could not be more thrilled! -

We got paired with Chloe and we could not have asked for a better coordinator to help us bring our vision to life. She was super organized and made sure we had everything we needed. We told her our day would have been an absolute mess without her help! If you're on the fence about needing a Day of Coordinator, get one!!! We didn't have to worry about literally anything day of because Chloe made sure it was handled for us. Seriously can't say enough great things about her! -

Hire Chloe, you won't regret it
Our wedding was absolutely perfect because of Chloe!! Chloe handled everything seamlessly. She managed all communication with our vendors, and anyone involved in the wedding, created an extremely detailed timeline, and ensured everyone understood their role. On the day of the wedding, Chloe facilitated everything to perfection. If there were any issues, we had no idea because Chloe took care of them all.
While we were getting ready, Chloe and her team set everything up and made our dreams come true. Lastly, Chloe helped with our vision board and to bring our ideas to reality. I felt so confident during and after all our conversations that Chloe could make decisions for us if needed. I can't express enough how wonderful it was to work with Chloe. If you have the opportunity to work with her, you will be very happy. Thank you, Chloe, for making our day so wonderful!

Amazing, organized and fun!
WE HAD THE MOST AMAZING PERFECT DAY!!!! 10000/10 experience. After a hiccup with our initial lead planner (she found another occupation about 6 months prior to our wedding) Merideth called us, improvised, adapted and overcame, and made it all right by assigning Chloe to our wedding, and Chloe was an absolute godsend and spectacular to work with. Extremely organized and proactive with our planning needs. We couldn’t have been pair with a better fit! Our day was amazing and literally not a single thing went wrong. Leading up to the wedding she was communicative and always found creative solutions whenever we needed. I would highly highly recommend this organization. Please consider them for your big day!!! -

Ella was the absolute best! I cannot recommend her enough!
I wasn’t sure when I first started planning my wedding whether I would hire a planner or not - I am SO glad I did. It was hands down the best money spent!
Just from my first meeting with her, so much stress was taken off my plate - I could tell she could see the vision I had for my wedding day and I had no doubt she was going to make it happen.
Ella was on top of everything from the time she was hired to start working on my wedding until even after the wedding ended. Leading up to the wedding, it was so nice to have someone to ask all my questions to, reach out to vendors for me, look over my contracts, plans and timeline, and just ensure everything was being taken care of. I didn’t have to worry about setting up any of my decor day of, and more importantly, we didn’t have to worry about packing up a thing at the end of the night - Ella and her assistants packed everything up in our cars so neatly after the reception!
We were SO lucky to have had Ella and the Light as a Feather team as part of our wedding! We got so many compliments from our guests who all saw just like we did how amazing she was and all the small things she was doing to make our wedding day the best. -

I am a manager with a venue/caterer and recently had the pleasure to get to work with Jordan, Carrie, Eve, Ella, and Victoria on a few events over the past couple of months. As a vendor, you get to work with alot of different businesses and planners, some good and some bad, so it is really saying something when you have as exceptional of an experience as we have had with the LAAF team! They are as personable as they are professional and really feel like you're all part of the same team. They were beyond easy to work with and made the events flow extremely smoothly. Their clients were completely at ease and enjoying their special day to the utmost thanks to their efforts. They have great communication and make everything feel easy and stress-free. My husband and I chose Blue Fancy for their full wedding planning service about 15 months prior to our wedding date. Blue Fancy is it when it comes to full wedding planning design. All details were covered by our lead wedding planner. Wedding planning will always have fall throughs that couples cannot control, from venue availability to vendor fall-throughs. Despite this, Blue Fancy made our wedding vision come to life. I was in awe during our reception room reveal with how beautifully they and our vendors decorated the space. Blue Fancy sticks to any budget and provides realistic expectations and great vendor options. We were able to come under budget with full service set-up and take-down. I cannot put into words what Meredith and Olivia at Blue Fancy did for our wedding. We got engaged in May of 2020 and were married in May of 2022. We had 375 people attend our wedding and they were on top of everything! There wasn't any need to worry or stress over things because they were super organized with everything. Communicating with them no matter how small the question was always easy. They are not the least expensive option but I don't know how I could have managed without them. I had a great experience with Blue Fancy! Liv was detailed, attentive and prioritized my vision, cutting out other commentary and opinions about the day. She was fabulous, patient, and on her A-game the night of the wedding. Anything that I needed day-of, she had covered. I had a lot of vendor juggling to manage, she truly relieved me of all stress and concern the last 90 days headed into the wedding. Would highly recommend Blue Fancy and I think you get the best value with this company over other planners in the area! -

Blue Fancy is wonderful!
If you're getting married, do yourself a favor and hire Blue Fancy! My husband and I opted to do their 'Wedding Planning Kit' for our wedding at the Milwaukee Art Museum, and it was absolutely perfect for us. Meredith was very helpful in the beginning with vendor recommendations (all of which we hired and were FANTASTIC), and helping us plan our budget. After giving us a great starting point, we felt confident that we could move forward booking all the vendors we wanted and tackling the 'big things' over the next 12 months. To be clear, Blue Fancy was not very involved throughout those 12 months because we did not hire them for 'full planning', but the advice and guides in the beginning were extremely helpful, and Meredith happily answered our questions throughout the year (though technically, she didn't have to).
A quick note: The vendor recommendation list alone would be worth every penny! We booked all of our vendors from Meredith's suggested list, and every single one of them was wonderful.
Once we got farther along in the planning process and we were getting close to the wedding, we were assigned our coordinator going forward- and Ali Nigel took over! I cannot stress enough how absolutely delightful Ali was. We had a long call to go over details about 2 months out from the wedding, and an in-person meeting 1 month out. From there she really took over most of the vendor coordination and communication. The week of my wedding I hardly had to deal with any calls, scheduling, or questions! Ali ran the rehearsal and the wedding day, and everything went perfect. Not only was she incredibly organized and one step ahead, but you'll also want to be her friend!

Blue Fancy - wow!!! What an AMAZING CREW!!! We got married on June 18th, 2022 and had the lovely Sydney V. as our wedding planner. She was so sweet, down to business, and made our day so seamless. We appreciated her constant patience laughter and joy with us through the ups and downs of planning a wedding. She was always a phone call away and made us feel so loved and special on our day! They helped with everything from timeline, vendor communication, to picking up brunch the day of the wedding, to putting together little details to set up, and put their 1000% effort into everything they do!
Meredith just as wonderful and such a powerful business women, I respect the heck out of her!! Meredith and the entire Blue Fancy team are expert event designers, planners, and day of coordinators. I've had the pleasure of working as a photographer at a number of Blue Fancy weddings, which always stand out in my mind as being characteristically well run and well paced.
Their staff often handles communication between vendors and clients, updating us all on changes, asking for opinions when needed for certain aspects of the schedule, and even doing on site venue tours to help plan out photo spots for the day-of.
Mornings are always a breeze, with Blue Fancy keeping me up to date on hotel room numbers as soon as they're available, as well as reminders of the schedule as the day unfolds. They truly help make my job an easier one, which means I'm able to produce a better final product for my clients.
I've also been able to work with Meredith on a number of styled shoots, which came together seamlessly and beautifully thanks to her eye and skills. Can't wait to continue working together!Light As A Feather's reply:

We worked with Jan on day-of coordination for our wedding. Really though, it was SO much more than help with just wedding day. Jan (and her assistant Jen) were absolutely phenomenal in helping bring our wedding vision to life and ensure the day went smoothly. Working with Blue Fancy was truly the best money we spent for our wedding because we (and our friends/family) got to be so relaxed and enjoy the event rather than worry about all the things to be done. Best day ever - best team ever!
I don't even know where to start with Blue Fancy. My husband and I felt at ease from our first phone call with Jan. Planning a wedding is no small feat and I felt like I was about to break until Jan stepped in and took over. Not only did we feel comfortable with her abilities but we felt like we gained a friend! My husband said both on the wedding night at the week following, "I don't know what we would have done without Jan, she's awesome! Like, I could drink a beer with her she's that awesome!" :D
In all seriousness, I had ZERO worries or issues. Everyone was where they needed to be and on time. All of our small, intricate, details were followed to a tee, and I felt like the both of us could truly enjoy our day without having to be interrupted. Jan also blew our parents away by how she followed through on the whole event. Her assistant and herself were there until the end of the night and beyond and took care of clearing decorations, gifts, etc and brought them back to our hotel rooms for us. This was HUGE for us and for our families because it really allowed us to relax after a long day.
Lastly, it's important to note how comfortable Jan made us feel. We loved having her around and her personality and professionalism never wavered! We would recommend Jan and the Blue Fancy team to anyone!

My wife and I were both so happy with our wedding day and specifically Blue Fancy's involvement. Jan was very detail oriented and was so accommodating to all of our requests. She checked in with us frequently and made sure we were doing alright in the weeks leading up to the event.
On the day of, Jan and Morgan helped to make sure the day went perfectly. They coordinated our other vendors, helped set up all decorations exactly how we had hoped and also helped with clean up.
This allowed us to be able to focus on only on enjoying the day instead of making sure everything moved along according to the plan.

Selfishly, I wish I could keep Meredith as a secret all to myself, but I have to share her with the world. Meredith and Blue Fancy as a whole was a delight! I loved having Meredith along every step of the way through my wedding planning process. She is insightful, experienced, friendly and ever so helpful. I really connected with Meredith and trusted her opinion on so many things. She never steered us wrong and had our best interest in mind. Having a full service wedding panner allowed me to enjoy the wedding planning process and have the confidence that everything would come together. I am very glad that we decided to hire a wedding planner, and I am forever thankful that it was Meredith at Blue Fancy. I could trust that Meredith had thought of everything and was there for all of my family and guests needs at the wedding. We recently got married and the advice I have been passing on to people is, the best decision and wedding money spent was on Blue Fancy (especially if your ceremony is not pre-planned, like in a church). Morgan was amazing! They do two pre-wedding meetings and create very detailed itineraries for the wedding party, vendors etc. The itinerary alone was worth it. They also ran the entire rehearsal and ensured everything on the day-of went smoothly. Nothing went wrong at our wedding and I have Blue Fancy to thank!Light As A Feather's reply:

We LOVED working with Blue Fancy. Here is the story:
I met with a few wedding planners early in our engagement, but nothing ever really "clicked." I felt like they were just sort of money-hungry and not very personable. When I met Morgan L., we got along right away. She's so down-to-earth and seemed to genuinely care about me and us outside of the wedding. We had a lot in common and I felt I could relate to her. Originally, though, I didn't think we could afford her. So, I met with one more planner from a different company who I didn't really like, and who never called me back anyway, and I realized we HAD to hire Morgan. She just made me feel so comfortable and I knew we'd regret it if we didn't book her. When I called her back, another couple had started the booking process with her, so she recommended we go with someone else in Blue Fancy. When I told her I only wanted her, she made it work even though the other wedding was the same weekend as ours. She even volunteered her time at the end of the night to help clean up, even though that wasn't part of the contract, to help us feel better about the cost. Honestly, it felt like I just had another maid-of-honor along side me the entire way, even though we technically only booked her for day-of services. She was constantly readily available to me and she went above and beyond all of the time. I'm so type-A and particular; I'm a teacher who knows how to plan. But I also have lots of anxieties and Morgan always understood and made me feel like I wasn't just a bridezilla or high-strung control-freak. She made me feel heard and validated and worked her butt off for me. On rehearsal day and wedding day, everyone LOVED Morgan and her assistant, Meghan. So many friends in the wedding party kept saying, "I love them!" "They're so awesome!" They worked so well together, they were both so intuitive, responsive, and fun.
I'm in the process of setting up a time to meet with Morgan to tell her all this in person over a cocktail. I told her at the wedding that I really hoped she and I could be friends in real life because I just loved her so much!Light As A Feather's reply:

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Blue Fancy as well as our wedding planner Morgan! She was insanely knowledgeable with vendors, on point with her recommendations based on our wants/needs and worked with us when we weren’t exactly quick at making decisions! She was my right hand woman and was always available if I had any questions or concerns. You can tell Morgan is passionate about her job and it was comforting knowing she was genuinely excited for our big day!
Again, nothing but amazing things to say about her and Blue Fancy!

She is focused, organized, detail oriented, a great "family manager" (you know what I mean), but also completely focused on the meaning of the day and being in the moment. When it came to planning, I was a type A bride... and she knew exactly what to do with me. Each step of the way she was there. From the photographer to the hair style, she had suggestions and ideas (AND CONNECTIONS). We ended up with an incredible team of vendors, thanks in big part to Meredith! I honestly do not know how Lee & Chris could have done this without Blue Fancy Events! Meredith never strayed from the bride’s vision throughout the entire planning process. She also spent countless hours with my sister & mom preparing for her big day. All trust was put in Meredith from the rehearsal & Friday night festivities onto the wedding day. We hired Blue Fancy Events for full service planning for our wedding 4/9/2022. After speaking with the owner Meredith, we knew Blue Fancy Events would be a good fit for us. We felt her company was very down to earth and she matched us to lead planner Morgan S. based on our personality.
Morgan made the wedding planning process so fun and effortless. From the beginning, she took the time to understand our priorities and vision for the wedding to create the wedding of our dreams. Even though we chose a venue outside of the Milwaukee area Madison), Morgan still found amazing vendors near the Madison area – having Morgan vet the vendors and pre-select vendors that fit our budget and style was SO extremely helpful. Morgan assumed all vendor communication and meetings; and we were so thankful to have her on our side/advocate for us when our caterer tried to double the contract price last minute. We felt fully supported with every step, thanks to Morgan’s guidance and expertise.
For the wedding day, we cannot thank Morgan and Nikki (assistant planner) enough for such a flawless event. We absolutely appreciated everything Morgan and Nikki did that day: setting up all the decor/tables/chairs before noon, problem-solving how to hang the welcome signage, moving the ceremony arch and flowers, bringing all our belongings back to the hotel, etc (just to name a few). Everything was just done and ready, we never had to ask! Not only did we get to enjoy every second without any worry or anxiety, but the family and wedding party also got to really enjoy the day. (I feel like it’s common for the family members/wedding party to assume day-of-wedding coordination roles which leads to a stressful experience for them but that wasn’t the case for us!). Many guests commented on how smoothly everything went.
I would highly recommend Blue Fancy Events! -
