From the moment that my fiancé and I Zoomed with Lisa during our initial consult, we felt at ease and in good hands. We laughed, bonded, and began our planning journey together that would last over a year. I had a lot of big dreams and visions, and Lisa took each of them seriously but respectfully as we navigated budgets and venue restrictions. I often referred to Lisa as my fairy god mother because she truly made my vision come to life. While she created and executed thoughtful details that brought me to tears over my wedding weekend, she was also a solace and cheerleader for me during the emotional, difficult parts of wedding planning. Her advice, wisdom, and knowledge about the wedding industry is vast but also detailed and tailored to her clients. She quickly picked up on our likes and dislikes and made sure to introduce us to vendors that we would mesh well with. Lisa continuously impressed us with her knowledge of venues and vendors – sometimes knowing more about venues than the venue itself! I never felt as if she was trying to upsell us in order to make more money or to work with a vendor just because she liked them. Lisa’s guidance and professionalism led us to having the most perfect, flawless day that we could have ever hoped for. When my hotel room didn’t have a full length mirror while I was getting ready, she bought one on her way to the venue. That is only one small example of the attention to detail and love that Lisa puts towards her clients and events. She is a seasoned professional that is enjoyable, reliable, and wonderful to work with. I will miss working with her. Thank you for such an amazing experience and incredible wedding! -

Like being cared for by a best friend...
Lisa is everything you'd want in a wedding planner - organized, knowledgeable, remembers all the right questions, creative, flexible, and kind. We clicked right away and from the start it felt like we were being cared for by our dearest friend. She made our year of planning and the big day as stress free as possible, and is a true professional. We had a few unconventional ideas, including our venue, and at every step she made sure we thought through the right details. She's the perfect balance of organized and laid back - I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again, she's simply the best! -

Lisa is a queen when it comes to planning. We hired her for full service. She walked us through every step of the process. She made the whole planning process stress free. Even when I had my moments of being overwhelmed she talked me down. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch. The best part is I didn't have to worry about anything. We hired Lisa to be our day-of-coordinator and she was so incredibly kind, helpful, patient, and supportive. She NEVER loses her cool, always has a thoughtful and creative solution, and we would honestly have been utterly lost without her.
Lisa is really responsive over email and has a great list of recommendations for vendors or other support you might need. And on the day of, she was an absolute godsend - she managed a team of vendors in a space that really required a LOT of coordination, and she was great at troubleshooting the random assortment of issues that inevitably come up during a wedding.
She was also terrific in learning about some of the more traditional Jewish elements of our ceremony and immediately understanding exactly what we needed. We would tell her about a tradition and by the next time we talked to her, she had remembered literally everything we told her and understood how it impacted the rest of the wedding.
I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Lisa is truly the best. -

When I got engaged I knew I would need a planner from start to finish. When I met Lisa she was warm and bubbly. I immediately knew we would work well together. We were really on a roll, when Covid hit. Lisa had my back like a best friend. She made all the phone calls from cancelling, to moving dates, to changing vendors, etc. She kept us organized as the pandemic drew on, gave us advice, listened when we needed to vent, and even helped mediate between my husband and me. She was awesome! Do yourself a favor and hire Lisa. She is truly a professional and can handle any curve ball thrown her way, including a pandemic. -

There would have been no wedding without Lisa. Because of COVID, we had to make so many changes over the course of two years. And Lisa not only patiently stuck it out with us, she helped us make critical last minute changes, including a venue change TWO WEEKS before the date. Any bride would be lucky to work with Lisa - she is so professional, fun, kind, and chill!! Our wedding was an absolute dream (so many people commented on how this was the GOAT wedding) and the day of was seamless. I had no stress. Lisa - thank you for everything. Words will never express how grateful we are. We said this over and over but you were a God send -

The biggest piece of advice I have for engaged couples is to work with vendors you like and trust. Being a bride in 2020 has really taught me that lesson! Luckily, my wife and I chose to work with Lisa. She's been a ROCK for us during the entire planning process, helping us navigate through 2 rescheduled weddings. She always works with our best interests in mind and is so well-connected in the wedding industry that we ended up hiring most of our other vendors on her recommendation. She was also really honest with us about what services we would need for our wedding, which is SO refreshing in an industry where you always feel like you're being upsold. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, and is just an all-around nice and awesome person. A thousand percent recommend her!! -

Very grateful for Lisa's services
Lisa provided tremendous support throughout the planning process and wedding day, including great flexibility with a change of both date and venue - originally a June wedding for 200, to a backyard wedding for 20. She helped manage expenses by sharing vendor discounts and handling rental delivery herself. The support provided was above and beyond .
But most importantly she is a joy to work with - offering unique ideas while always respecting wishes of the couple. She worked extremely well with all the vendors, and clearly has their respect and trust. Her communications were clear and kept everyone in the loop. She knew just when to step up and provide follow-through on so many final details. She helped make the day a wonderful experience for the couple, family and guests. Lisa is the Best!
My husband and I loved working with Lisa. She helped us find vendors, coordinated all of the vendors on our wedding day, and really helped keep me sane throughout the process. Our meetings were like hanging out with a friend which helped relieve my anxiety. I had a big dream of trees in a historic ballroom and she saw the vision and helped me believe it was possible, AND THEN made it happen! I was so excited and our wedding was fantastic! -

Hiring Lisa to be our day-of coordinator was easily one of the best decisions we made during our planning process! SHE IS AMAZING! I had been doing most planning from New Jersey, and was recommended by a very close friend to reach out to Lisa. Right off the bat... she had vendors, ideas, and made me feel totally confident that she would help us to pull together the perfect day. She was communicative, extremely helpful when organizing details with vendors, and was always willing to go the extra mile to help us. She also checked in when I hadn't replied to an important email which I was incredibly thankful for.
Her assistance with the wedding party and guests day-of was unmatched and I cannot thank her enough for helping our day to run so incredibly smoothly! Lisa alleviated all of my stresses from planning out of state- She kept me calm, pulled together all of my crazy decoration ideas the day before (during a crazy downpour at our run through!). Lisa made sure each and every detail was executed, and surprised us with the greatest gift of all: Dominic, the petting zoo donkey, serving beer and spiked seltzer during our cocktail hour. He was the talk of the party, and the last puzzle piece that Lisa pulled together behind the scenes that wowed us yet again!!
I strongly recommend hiring LG Event Design for your day, not only because of the incredible experience we had as a couple, but because I know that Lisa genuinely cares about her clients and that she will go above and beyond to make sure everything goes as planned. And even if things get a little mixed up and don't go as planned, Lisa will be there, utility belt handy, to help anyone who might have been stung by hornets before the ceremony, if the groom cuts his knuckles and needs band-aids, or a bridesmaid needs help applying her eyeliner (these are all scenarios that popped up that were handled flawlessly by our Wonder Woman, Lisa!!)
You'd be foolish to hire anyone other than LG Event Design for your party planning needs- I hope we have the chance to work with her again in the future! -

Our wedding would not have happened without Lisa. When we first met with her, we had a vision, a laundry list of things to do and a beautiful venue that supplied the refreshments…and nothing else. Lisa, like the godsend that she is, turned our dream into a reality. She went above and beyond to make sure that our special day was truly special. From the beginning, it was apparent that her organizational skills were second to none. She showed us her “wedding bible” she had created for us that outlined all the major tasks that needed to be accomplished before the “I do’s” could be said. Her “bible” was so complete and thorough, that we knew early on she was the right person for the job. She made the planning process a relative breeze. She handled communications with vendors, including setting up and attending meetings the them. She gave us her honest advice on whatever issues we were having. When we started to freak out that something was going wrong, Lisa was there to calm our nerves. You name it, she had an answer for it. And just when we thought that Lisa couldn’t get any better, the Big Day arrived, and she really shined. She was at the venue from the crack of dawn until 4am the next day. Lisa beautifully setup the location exactly as we had envisioned. She made each of us our own special “emergency wedding day kit” that had everything from snacks and drinks to sewing kits and Tide pens. She coordinated the timeline, vendors, and wedding party with military precision. When the caterer got behind on busing tables, there was Lisa grabbing every dirty dish that she could carry. When someone got sick and made a mess in the bathroom, there was Lisa with the rubber gloves on. When we say our wedding would not have happened with out Lisa, we truly mean it. We are forever grateful for all her hard work and dedication. We HIGHLY recommend that you choose Lisa as your wedding planner…you will be wasting your time trying to find someone better! -

As a floral provider for over 80 weddings each season, we work with many brides and event planners/coordinators. Lisa was exceptional. She was responsive, set up all the meetings and consultations, attended those meetings and provided a great connection between our designers and the couple. After one of our meetings she even illustrated a drawing of a ceremony arch I described and it was spot on! From the vendor perspective, Lisa is THE choice to make your day a success! -

Lisa is absolutely phenomenal! We’re so grateful that we had her as a wedding planner throughout this entire wedding planning process. Anything we ever needed and more, she was there. She was exceptional with handling all communication with us and our vendors. She even jumped in and helped with communicating with family members that were coming out of town so that we wouldn’t feel overwhelmed. She’s very organized and personable, you can have confidence that she always has your best interest at heart. She has gone above and beyond from attending the bridal shower to making sure that we had all the little things (that we wouldn’t even think of) in care packages for the two of us, for the day of the wedding! To our surprise, she was even our graphic designer haha. Two weeks before the wedding we decided that we wanted fans for the ceremony programs since the ceremony would be outside and she volunteered to do them! I mean how amazing is that?! She is just the best! Our wedding day was absolutely magical! We tell everyone how we could live that day over and over again without changing a thing and we know a lot of that has to do with all the hard work that was put in before that day to make sure everything went great and Lisa did an exceptional job with preparing us, our vendors and family for it. She made sure not one single detail was missed! She truly put our minds at ease. Anyone that needs an event planner, without any hesitation, we are referring them to Lisa right away as we know they’ll be in great hands! -

The Perfect Planner for the Best Day Ever!
When people tell you that hiring a wedding planner was the best money they ever spent or that it was worth every penny, I believe it to be true. When people tell you that hiring Lisa as your wedding planner was the best money ever spent or that it was worth every penny, I KNOW it to be true.
I started at the Ford Field bridal show. I just snagged as many fliers as I could there. After sorting through them days later, I put the few "wedding planner" cards off to the side. At that time, I did not think I would need one, nor was I in the market for one. As our big day, May 18th, 2019, approached, I started to realize all the details that needed to go into the day to make it run seamlessly and perfectly: all the different vendors, decorations, locations, timing. Frankly, I didn't want to have to worry about them on the day I was to marry my best friend. I also wanted my family and friends to be able to enjoy the day WITH ME.
I had two appointments scheduled the day my (now) husband and I decided to "shop" for coordinators. Lisa was our first. Needless to say, we did not even need the second appointment because we instantly clicked with Lisa. She took the entire appointment to get to know us, our family & friends, our vision, and our wants and needs.
We booked her as our "day of" coordinator but she did so much more. All of our contracts for different vendors were sent to her, we had numerous in person and phone meetings, she put an OCD-soothing timeline together, double/triple checked vendor times & locations, and the list goes on. She even came to our wedding shower to meet all the "key people" (parents, bridal party, our "Executive Ring Bearer", etc.).
She made us feel special by posting on social media, "shouting us out", leading up to the big day. After coordinating our rehearsal/rehearsal dinner and accommodating all of our quirky requests, Lisa assured us that we were ready to say "I do!". When the big day arrived, I knew I had my go-to girl for everything.
She started the day early with visits to us girls & the guys. She picked up breakfast for us (with an included stop to Meijer for fruit), kept us on track, and calmed nerves from ANYONE as needed. She set up, transferred, tore down, made our hotel room cute and cozy, & even made sure I took my bc pill (haha)! She has everything you need on hand (or in apron) should a hiccup come up!
To be honest, I'm not even sure if anything did go wrong that day... as she took care of it prior to it coming to my attention. Myself, my husband, our family, friends, and guests were able to enjoy every second of the day and embrace what the day was really about.
Lisa, THANK YOU for your professionalism, kindness, attention to detail, calming yet assertive presence, and so much more. I feel like I made a great friend & look forward to working with you in the future!

LG Events helped make our wedding day unforgettable.
You truly don't understand the amount of work that goes into planning a wedding until you begin the process. Lisa was hired as our planner for day-of services but her services went beyond our expectations. When planning a wedding, there is aways budget to consider and LG Events was extremely affordable. Lisa managed all of our contracts with the vendors, met with us a few times out of the year to run through prioritized to-do lists, provided great suggestions and recommendations anywhere from linen rentals to simple set up ideas. We needed someone who could take our vision and bring it to life. We needed someone who could run-show, make quick decisions and handle the behind the scene things that you wouldn't know about as a guest. We highly recommend using a wedding planner and we highly recommend LG Events.

I knew from our initial consultation that Lisa was truly committed to making our wedding a perfect reflection of us. She eliminated all of the anticipated stress by connecting us with high quality, reliable vendors that understood our vision (even when I decided to get a videographer 5 days before the wedding!). She created a timeline to help us navigate the big decisions that needed to be made and was respectful of our wedding budget. Lisa managed all communication with the venue, our vendors, hotel, transportation and bridal party to create a seamless day of timeline. I can't even describe the sense of relief I felt having her present the day of the wedding! I was able to enjoy every second of the day while Lisa made the entire plan come to life. She was prepared for every scenario that could've possibly taken place the day of and came to the rescue anytime my husband and I had a special request. I wanted a classic, elegant wedding celebration to look back on. What Lisa delivered was beyond my expectations! -

From missing boutineers to missing place cards she handled it. She also set up all of my centerpieces and decorations! My husband and i were very pleased with her service.
