Fantastic wedding planner!
The Lavish Haus team was absolutely fantastic to work with. We came to them with a few loose ideas for a vision for our home wedding, and they helped us refine that vision and bring it to life. They helped us find an amazing lineup of vendors — photographer, videographer, band, etc. and we could not have been happier with each of them. The Lavish Haus team took care of all of the little details so we could handle the big picture aspects of the wedding. Often, when we asked about a certain wedding detail, they had already taken care of it before we asked. They provided expertise in areas that were completely new to us -- tenting, lighting, signage, and the like — and they knocked them all out of the park. They helped bring creative and personal touches to our wedding in a way that felt uniquely “us.” We could not have been more thrilled with how our wedding turned out and so much of that is because of the support we had from the Lavish Haus team. -

Hiring Lavish Haus was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning period. First, we interviewed/spoke with at least 5+ wedding planners and Sam blew us away with her professionalism during our call. We highly recommend scheduling a call and asking a ton of questions to set expectations. Once we booked our venue, Lavish Haus worked with us for over a year to plan and design the wedding of our dreams in Philly. When you’re a type-A perfectionist and want to review every single option available for every vendor, wedding planning can be a fully time job. We put our trust in Lavish Haus to do the initial research and reach out to vendors, and they did fantastic. In some instances, we asked for multiple rounds of new options, and Lavish Haus was responsive and professional in helping us find the right fit – whether it was a vendor they’ve worked with a million times or someone new to them. We could tell from our vendors that the vendors really liked working with Lavish Haus. Once we started working on the nitty gritty aspects of the wedding with Jill, we were blown away with how attentive she was to all of our requests and questions. In some areas we knew exactly what we wanted, and the Lavish Haus team executed perfectly. In other areas, we were clueless, so we heavily relied on their relationships with other vendors, knowledge of the industry, and eye for design. On the day of our wedding, Jill and Summer were organized and calm, and they felt like friends we actually wanted to spend time with on our wedding day. We are forever grateful to Jill and the Lavish Haus team. Hiring a wedding planner is an expensive commitment to make at the beginning of your wedding planning process, but I can’t imagine Lavish Haus letting anyone down – they are truly fantastic! -

I will be forever grateful to Sam and the entire team at Lavish Haus. Everyone was amazing! Sam was with us from the beginning of the process and played an integral role in the vendor searches, planning, design, and coordination of our wedding day. She took my vision and brought it to life! The team's attention to detail is unmatched, and they thought of everything. Our wedding day would not have been as much of a success without Sam, Sydney, and the entire Lavish Haus team!! -

Loved working with Lavish Haus! Their online software platform made the planning process really organized and to me that’s the number one thing I’m looking for. I interviewed with a few other planners who definitely didn’t have a good organizational/collaborative system in place. To me that says a lot about how the rest of the planning experience will go. I was on that platform every single day. Samantha and the team were all so sweet and patient with me. We laid out early what my top priorities were as well as the things that if gone wrong, would completely derail me. I LOVE that they asked the latter. It really gave us (me) time to set expectations for the day and come up with game plans so that even if unfortunate circumstances (like rain) happened… we were ready. Ultimately everything on my greatest fears list HAPPENED… but it was still the BEST DAY. They were so professional and smooth that in my eyes the day went off without a hitch. A true sign of a successful planner. I DIYed a lot of my decor and their team set EVERYTHING up for me. Truly unreal. I was able to focus on me, the day of my wedding and not lift a finger.
Before I hired Lavish Haus I knew I wanted a planner, from listening to past friends experiences and knowing I didn’t want added stress on my plate. Prior to hiring them I had already spent 6 months looking for a venue and poured hundreds of hours into it. The BIGGEST reason I wanted a planner was so that I wouldn’t have to spend tons of time looking for vendors, as well as limit the amount of stress on my plate. I’m a bit of a control freak (planner’s worst nightmare) so I still spent SOME time looking BUT for the most part they really saved me SO MUCH time by using their connections - and knowing what was in budget and what wasn’t. They did a great job understanding my overall vision for the day and helped me achieve it. They were patient and kind and helped quell my anxiety. I’m honestly sad that it’s all over and I don’t get to work with them anymore!

When we began planning our wedding we were so overwhelmed with where to start, and with changes happening in my job, I knew that I was going to need help from someone experienced. After reaching out to Sam and Lavish Haus, we were immediately put at ease by her warmth and excitement about helping us make our dream wedding a reality. She took our vision and ran with it, carefully curating a mood board that we could share with other vendors throughout the planning process. She helped us stay organized by giving us a timeline with different tasks to complete as we got closer to our our wedding and checked in with us often to make sure we were all on the same page. Sam and her team even created the GREATEST signage and displays for our seating chart and our favors which took our vision to a whole other level. The biggest help to us is that she took great care in communicating with all our other vendors on our behalf for the entire time we worked together and organized timelines for them and for us, which gave us such peace of mind. On the day of our wedding, Sam and her team did an excellent job in executing each detail of our day and made sure that absolutely everything ran smoothly. Because we had Lavish Haus, we had no stress at all in the days leading up to the wedding. My bridesmaids kept saying they couldn’t believe how calm I was that morning. If anything went wrong, my husband and I had no clue. It was the most perfect day, more beautiful than anything we could have dreamed, and it was all thanks to Sam and everyone at Lavish Haus! We cannot thank them enough and we highly recommend their services to anyone planning their wedding! -

Let me tell you, it was an absolute pleasure working with Sam and Lavish Haus. When I say these guys were on point and on top of everything, I mean it! We had contacted Sam about a year out from planning. Right from the get go, Sam had laid out exactly what their role would be for the wedding. She had a scheduled itinerary for several zoom meetings that would take place through out the year. And on top of that, they would remind us about these meetings a few days prior; for those of you wedding planning, you understand how hectic your schedule can become in an instant. So it was nice to have somebody on top of us to make sure we were completing necessary tasks on time. On top of that, Lavish Haus was very flexible to any last minute changes that may partake for your special day as well. Truly couldn’t be happier with these guys. Finally, they were totally up front from the get go about their pricing! There were no hidden fee’s at all when we paid everything in total. If we could give these guys 100 stars / 10, we would. I promise you, you will not regret hiring these guys for any of your events! -

Simply wonderful!
Sam and the entire Lavish Haus team was fantastic! Their assistance with the wedding planning process, and on-the-ground execution, was flawless. The team was extremely responsive to our needs (and many, many questions), they effectively coordinated with our other vendors (saving us numerous headaches), and there was a perfect balance between the level of hand-holding we wanted/needed, and letting the vendors we'd already chosen ourselves (photographers, officiant) do their thing without over-managing (which we've heard can be an issue with other planners).
We couldn't be more pleased with our experience and would recommend Lavish Haus to anyone looking for a wedding planner! -

We hired Sam when she was a team of one, and had the pleasure of watching her grow Lavish Haus into the elevated event design and experience business it is today. While her business grew, the "feel" and vision remained the same; this is a hard working, dedicated team who quickly respond to you, and most importantly, work tirelessly to create your once-in-a-lifetime wedding. We hired Sam for her design abilities, and from day one, through a couple venue changes, she took our "rustic elegant" vibe and executed it to a standard we still cannot believe.. We really appreciated her guidance and trusted her team to give an honest opinion. We could not have pulled off the wedding without the vendor relationships Lavish Haus has throughout the industry. We used their recommendations for stationary, rentals, florals, ceremony music, reception music, bar tenders, bar supplies, and transportation. Each of her recommended vendors understood our vision, and she worked closely with all of our vendors to pull off a wedding that was more amazing than we could have ever have imagined. Her team's day-of-presence was reassuring and brilliantly executed the plan (massive shout out to Sydney from Lavish Haus - she was an absolute rock star on wedding day!
For context: We had approximately 90 guests at a DIY farm / barn venue in PA where we had to bring in drinking water, toilets, generators, indoor and outdoor lighting, table settings, etc., so truly DIY from the ground up! Incredible job by Sam and her team! -

Hiring Sam and her team at Lavish Haus was the best decision that my husband and I made for our wedding! Sam and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly special. The entire planning process was so easy and stress free with Sam. I didn't know where to begin with the overall design for our wedding and Sam and her team took care of all the design elements for us and I could not have imagined it all coming together any more perfectly! She made it so easy with the signage packages that she offers and we could not be any happier with how beautiful all of the signage and details were! She recommended an amazing florist for us and helped us choose the perfect florals for our overall design. Sam was also so helpful with the day of coordinating of all of our vendors and provided us with a timeline to guide us through the day. Sam and her team exceeded my expectations and truly elevated our day. My husband and I wanted a stress free wedding day so that we could enjoy the day with each other and our guests and Sam and her team definitely made that happen. We had the best time and so did our guests and everyone loved all of the details and design elements that Sam and her team created. Sam was always available to answer all of our questions and we had frequent Zoom meetings leading up to the wedding. Everything came together so perfectly and we are so happy and grateful for everything that Sam and her team did for us. I highly recommend Sam and her team! You will definitely not be disappointed with Sam as your wedding planner! She truly exceeded my expectations and we are so thankful. She helped make our wedding day stress free and more beautiful than I could have imagined! -

My husband and I were lucky enough to have Sam and her Lavish Haus team recommended to us early in our planning stages. Not only did Sam listen intently to everything I hoped the day would end up looking like but she came to me with the most incredible vendors to make every detail beyond amazing. Sam and Sydney went above and beyond in so many ways I cannot even name them all. My husband and I suffered a devastating loss during the planning stages and Sam was there as more than just a wedding planner, but a friend as well. Our day went off without a hitch and was absolutely flawless. You will not be disappointed booking Lavish Haus. It was the best investment we made for our day. -

The most beautiful signage ever!
Working with Sam was one of the top highlights of our wedding and the entire planning process! I first learned of Lavish Haus Design when my sister attended a gorgeous wedding planned and designed by their company. My husband and I were still looking for signage and really wanted to do something that would truly stand out, so we reached out right away. Talking to Sam I could tell immediately she was a perfect fit for us. Even when I felt like I was having trouble explaining our ideas, Sam totally understood our vision and even gave us some amazing suggestions to complement details we already had in place. She was so fun and collaborative to work with, and really took our opinions to heart. She incorporated things that were so personal to us, like our favorite songs and dog Dexter, and made every detail truly unique. It was one thing to see the final design proofs, but nothing compared to seeing everything the day of. They truly did the damn thing and made us the most incredible pieces!! Every area of the room had another amazing moment to see from our guestbook, to memorial table, to extra large bar menu. She even had a custom card box made to match that we were able to keep (and is now a little mini time capsule of our day). What Sam created for us was absolutely flawless and we were completely blown away. It was everything we could’ve hoped for and we can’t thank or recommend the entire Lavish Haus team enough!! Incredible Company 11/10!!!
WOW, where do I even start! Lavish Haus Design was absolutely amazing to work with, I would give them an 11/10!! Sam O’Donnell helped make my wedding day even more breathtaking than I could have ever imagined.
I approached Lavish Haus Design and Event Co. with very little direction and design in mind. I gave her my color scheme and overall vibe for the wedding, and she did all the rest. She helped take the stress out of any wedding planning and designing. Sam created from scratch all of my programs, personalized dinner menus, place cards and seating chart. She even helped weave the theme/look of the wedding throughout my bridal shower which made it feel like a continuous branded event. AHMAZING!
Sam also helped come up with ideas for how to enhance and personalize the little things. I bought a wax stamp of our last name’s initial (“G”) that I wanted to use somewhere within the wedding, and she came up with the idea of stamping everyone’s place card name to the dinner menus to make it even more personalized. It looked incredible and she hand stamped every single one – 180 total!! Additionally, my husband and I really wanted to serve our homemade wine at our wedding and my original thought was to have our bottles of wine at each table, but Lavish Haus came up with the brilliant idea to create an easy and affordable “escort wall” that featured a variety of our red wines in shot like glasses that our guests could try. She helped design the entire wall and even poured the 180 individual shot glasses! She offers the most top notch white glove service I have ever experienced.
All in all, Lavish Haus Co. exceeded all our expectations, and I would recommend them to any bride in the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia and Bucks County area. She may travel further than those places I mentioned so don’t limit her business to those areas. If she travels further, then I say BOOK HER!!! She’s worth every minute of your time and thought! -

Sam made my dream wedding a reality! She is so talented and organized and thorough and I trusted her instantly with all of the details. It was such a weight lifted off of my shoulders knowing I had Sam to help with everything! Great attention to detail!
I hired Sam to plan a friends baby shower and I could not be happier that I did. I was going to try and do it myself, but even just trying to pick out the invitations stressed me out! After reaching out to Sam, she asked me questions to better understand my vision and provided some of her own ideas. She got a mood board and invitations done very quickly and it was better than I could’ve envisioned. She stayed within my budget and did SO many of the little touches herself to make that possible. The day of the shower she had everything
coordinated with the photographer and bakeries and made everything so much easier for me. The mom-to-be was so surprised and loved everything! -

We sat on this review for quite some time, we didn’t want to dwell on a negative experience when our wedding was so joyous and special. But we’ve been asked a few times now about our experience working with Lavish Haus and we want to be clear that we don't recommend them.
Every other vendor we worked with was absolutely spectacular, Lavish Haus was the clear exception. Our experience, particularly with the owner, was marked by disappointment, miscommunication, and a lack of transparency; which ironically is something emphasized as a core value on their website.
We specifically sought out Lavish Haus's services based on recommendations about Samantha personally, her experience, and her familiarity with our venues. After a diligent search process, we chose to invest in her skills, expertise, and character over other coordinators; and we justified the costs with those factors in mind. But in the final months before our wedding date, she handed us off to a less experienced associate without offering a discussion or alternatives, which left us feeling misled and deprioritized.
Delegating our wedding was a clear deviation from what we discussed and understood from our discovery call, proposal, contract, and kick-off meeting. Entrusting our day to someone we never connected with or interviewed felt unnerving. If this had been clear from the beginning, it would have influenced our decision-making.
When we voiced our concerns, we made it clear that we were willing to move forward in good faith, but honestly we weren’t really given any other option. Samantha promised to stay in touch and remain involved, yet we never heard from her directly again. There was no check-in, no follow-up to ask about our experience, not even a congratulatory message on or after our wedding day. She completely disregarded our wedding and jumped ship.
Also troubling is that on our wedding day we learned our ‘new’ coordinator had quit Lavish Haus and that our wedding was her last day with the company. We also learned that the assistant coordinator we had met with and been told would be at our wedding had also left the company. We did not learn of or meet her replacement until our wedding day. This could be overlooked, but we were lied to and told that the original assistant had COVID. Again, we now know in reality she had quit Lavish Haus a month earlier.
These were significant staffing changes directly tied to the success of our wedding, and they purposely were kept from us. They were never communicated to us by Samantha, which could have been a perfect opportunity to regain our trust and communicate something so major. It’s truly disappointing and concerning to think that she was so comfortable leaving our wedding entirely to chance without even giving us a heads-up, and it speaks volumes about how little care she ultimately showed for our day.
In the months that followed we saw Lavish Haus posting and sharing photos from our wedding in a way that implied their involvement in the planning and design process; and ultimately our satisfaction with the relationship. That could not be further from our experience and frankly the truth. The wedding came together thanks to the creative process we did ourselves and the excellence and professionalism of our other vendors.
If we had to do it all again, we would not hire Lavish Haus. They failed to meet standard expectations of professionalism, communication, and honesty. The lead-up to our wedding was made stressful when it didn’t need to be. The lack of transparency, especially after personally committing to staying involved, are things we cannot overlook.
Ultimately, we put a lot of time, care, and discretion into vetting our vendors, especially as a same-sex couple, and it’s important to us that other couples have the full details when considering who they hire. This review reflects our honest, firsthand experience and opinions.
