    A Planner, a Friend, and a Lifesaver

    We don’t know how we would’ve pulled off our wedding without Michelle and her incredible team at Lavender Crown. My now wife and I live in New York City, and Michelle helped us plan our wedding in California (where I'm from), a challenge she handled with absolute ease.

    From day one, she wasn’t just our planner; she became a friend and a steady source of support through every step of this crazy process. No matter how many decisions we had to make or last-minute ideas we threw at her, Michelle handled everything with patience, professionalism, and a genuine passion that made us feel comfortable

    A few standout moments that meant the world to us:
    - Michelle was incredibly accommodating of our situation—meeting with us virtually while we were in New York and scheduling in-person meetings when we were back in California.
    - Michelle created a separate timeline for one of our bridesmaids, working with her directly, who needed time to pump and ensured it was seamlessly integrated into our wedding schedule,
    - When we had to pivot from our original hair and makeup artist relatively close to the wedding, Michelle handled it with grace and found alternatives that made us feel completely comfortable.
    - When the venue coordinator unexpectedly left without a word, Michelle took charge, navigating through the chaos and ensuring everything stayed on track—even with many unresolved items lingering right up until the big day.

    On the big day, she kept everything running smoothly, and we never had to worry about a thing. Even when unexpected hiccups popped up (because, let’s be real, they always do), we knew she had our backs.

    Of course, no wedding is without its challenges, and we faced a few bumps with our venue and vendors, but Michelle did everything she could to problem-solve and make things right. Her ability to stay calm under pressure and find solutions in the moment made all the difference—we truly can’t imagine having gone through this without her.

    If you’re looking for someone who is organized, thoughtful, and just an all-around amazing person to have in your corner, Michelle and Lavender Crown are the way to go. We are beyond grateful for everything she did to make our wedding day special.

    Michelle was perfect

    Michelle was a life saver. We were on a limited budget and she came highly recommended from a friend. I’m so glad we went with her. It was money well spent.

    Everything leading up to the big day, she was taking notes and super helpful. The day of, I didn’t want to worry about anything and I didn’t. Michelle knew what I wanted and what I cared about most and she made sure it happened. I was even made aware of a mistake at one point by the caterers, but by the time my brother told me about it, Michelle had already fixed it and made it work for us.

    Bottom line: You can’t go wrong with Michelle.

    10/10 Would Recommend

    Michelle was absolutely phenomenal throughout the whole process. Her attention to detail, organization skills and networking connections are unmatched and she made our wedding day better than we could have imagined.

    I was initially reluctant to get a wedding planner but I can sincerely say that reaching out to Lavender Crown Events was one of the best decisions that we made while planning our wedding. Michelle is worth her weight in gold and in my opinion, under charging for her services.

    I cannot recommend Michelle and Lavender Crown Events highly enough.

    Highly recommended for day-of coordination

    I'm so happy I chose Michelle as the day-of coordinator for my wedding. She made everything go smoothly, from running our rehearsal, to setting up the reception decorations, to coordinating our entrances for the ceremony and more! I was nervous about how I was going to get everything to the venue, but she showed up to the rehearsal with a truck big enough to fit all the alcohol, decorations, and favors we had prepared. And I love the way she took the box of decorations I gave to her and decorated our reception area perfectly. I would highly recommend her for your wedding.

    Excellent Wedding Coordination!

    We hired Michelle at Lavender Crown Events for "Day-of Coordination" which included coordination and planning services starting about a month before our wedding date. Michelle was very flexible, negotiable, and quick to respond to any request. She was very organized and easy to reach at any hour. Our wedding celebration went smoothly and she and her assistant, Jasmyn, were a HUGE part of its success and our blissful experience. I HIGHLY recommend Lavender Crown Events to any bride & groom, or party hostess. You will not be disappointed, as they will go above and beyond to guarantee your satisfaction and ensure your event is well executed.

    Hi would highly recommend Michelle for your wedding planning. She was easy going, had great ideas and guided us through the entire process from start to finish. Every bride needs a "Michelle" to help ease the stress of planning a wedding or just being there to coordinate the day of!     Huge Help with Coordination

    Michelle and Lavender Crown Events were a huge help in making everything come together on my wedding day. She coordinated with any vendors I was working with so that the day of, I didn't have to worry about anything. She ensured that everything was delivered and set up on time and was quick to find alternatives when we were a little short on flowers. Everything came out beautiful. She had all the answers about the venue and possibilities of the event before we committed and gave us suggestions on things that we were unsure about. She was dedicated to our specific needs while working with us and went above and beyond. Thanks so much for helping us with our special day!

    Do not hire

    We were in dire need of a day-of coordinators and they (specifically Michelle) came recommended to us by our DJ. We hired them about 2 weeks before our wedding. They require you to hire one coordinator per 100 people. The total cost for the 2 day-of coordinators was a little over $2k. We did not think it was necessary to pay the extra $500 to hire the business owner, Michelle and instead hired her assistants: Sara & Hannah. Our thought process was that people who are part of a company are people the owner trusts and who reflect or imitate excellent work. This was our big mistake.

    Both Sara and Hannah were friendly. They read all of our vendor contracts & created an online timeline that the vendors can edit or add comments to based on their services. Their organization for all the vendors was a huge relief, however I believe ANY day-of coordinators who are hired to do so, should be able to do their job. To give them the benefit of doubt, perhaps our overall experience with them would have been better had we hired them sooner, but everything about our wedding was last minute. We planned a 200+ person wedding in 6 weeks. Additionally, if they were uncomfortable with this short timeline, they did not have to accept the job. At the time of hiring them, we had already created a wedding timeline & a full floor plan of the reception so that aspect of their responsibilities was done.

    We hired them to get all of the vendors on the same page and to handle the minutiae of when rental arrivals/ departures etc. We can happily say that Hannah did a great job of handling those small details.

    We are overall unhappy and dissatisfied with their services and wanted to express the lowlights:

    1. Michelle missed or forgot about our initial meeting (before we hired them). Ultimately, she rescheduled and we were able to meet later, but it was not a great first impression.
    2. Sara was 20+ mins late to our rehearsal the day before the wedding and when she arrived, she had no clue about details of our wedding including the timeline of our wedding and who we wanted to include in the processional etc. These details were already discussed via their online timeline and a previous zoom meeting we had with both Sara and Hannah. Even though she was there, we organized and ran our own rehearsal. She just followed us around & wrote down the decisions we made like the order of the processional.
    3. Sara walked down the aisle behind the bride on the wedding day and is seen in the background of all of our photos during this time. This is especially heartbreaking. You can only do your wedding once & cannot take back or re-do anything.

    We do not recommend the services by the assistants of Lavender Crown.
