Best Wedding & Event Planners!

I chose Laurel & Rose as our wedding planner the end of 2020, almost a full year and a half before our wedding. Through this time, I worked closely with Mariah Burke (our Lead Planner) to carefully craft my perfect vision of a wedding day. Right off the bat, her attention to detail, organization, and personality shined through above the 8 other planners I had talked with. Each step was custom to us and she made us feel at ease in trusting her with picking our vendors, design decks, handling budget, and other things that would come up. There was not one time where I felt like her second priority, even a year out! Her and Jolene (Lead Planner & Owner) respond promptly, both in and outside of business hours, set valid expectations and really partner together well. They are best friends and look like sisters! Fun fact, Laurel & Rose is named after Jolene's sisters and it truly feels like a family when you work with these two. Mariah had the perfect amount of advice for me when I felt undecisive, but I still truly like the day was my design.

The day of the wedding, IT COULDN'T HAVE GONE SMOOTHER. All of our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I of course had to make last minute changes and there were definitely some fires the week before that Mariah just dealt with. Everything was perfect and so unbelievably custom to Brian and I's relationship. Mariah and Jolene were like angels in my corner - gave me a heads up for what was the come next, with still allowing me to be fully present, trusting them to be in charge. Mariah is incredibly professional, direct and has some spunk to make things all around 'fun.' I was giddy after every vendor call we had together and wish we could do it all over again!!! I highly, highly recommend Laurel & Rose for whoever is looking for a wedding planner. They are worth every penny and stay super competitive with price points. The experience was a 10/10! LOVE YOU GUYS!

The best in the industry

Jolene and Mariah are true industry experts. The grace, professionalism, and vendor selection was top notch. My husband and I are both in the industry, so we had really high expectations. They exceeded all of them and more! Our wedding was hands down the best wedding I’ve ever attended, and usually the bride and groom don’t get to truly enjoy their wedding day! Our wedding was so well orchestrated and curated to ensure we enjoyed every moment, all our senses were heighten! Since our wedding was in the midst of the pandemic the precautions taken from their team and the vendors made us and our small group of guests feel safe and comfortable.
From the first phone conversation I knew I could completely trust them with every detail. I can’t even begin to describe how fabulous the entire process was. They made us feel so special, it felt like we were their only clients! On the day of our wedding we showed up and didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The details and flow of the day was truly magical, it was a literal fairytale! At one point Jolene was on her knees in damp grass making sure my shoes were properly on my feet, all while maintaining a smile on her face! This only shines a small light on how truly kind, gracious, and creative Jolene and Mariah are. Stop searching for a wedding planner and pick L&R! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Truly Incredible!

Truly incredible! Mariah and Jolene supported us and advocated for us throughout the whole wedding process. From proactive, detailed checklists and periodic check-ins to developing last-minute contingency rain plans, Mariah thoughtfully helped execute our vision to a T. The wedding day went smoothly and all of our guests have told us we had the best wedding weekend they’ve ever attended. The absolute best wedding planner

We had our wedding in Steamboat this past weekend and Jolene and Mariah went above and beyond for everything! I cannot explain how lucky we were to have the opportunity to work with them for the whole wedding planning process. If you are thinking you can plan a wedding without Laurel & Rose…you cannot. I had absolutely zero stress and I couldn’t be happier with the recommend vendors. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful because of them and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was a dream thanks to Jolene and Mariah. I absolutely recommend them to everyone planning a wedding I can’t say enough good things about them.

The Laurel and Rose team exceeded our expectations and was instrumental in our daughter having a dream wedding weekend in the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado. The L&R team is uniquely qualified to adapt your visionary ideas into a design and plan to reasonably incorporate your wishes and align with your financial goals. L&R set out from the beginning to own the full end to end process and were exceptional in their ability to source appropriate vendors. After many months of planning, the L&R team provided the final touches and care on the wedding weekend leaving the parents and the bride and groom with no worry. A truly magical wedding. Incredible Team!

How can I possibly begin to explain how absolutely incredible Jolene and the Laurel & Rose team are?! They made my Santa Monica wedding a dream come true. From the rehearsal dinner, wedding day and farewell brunch, their attention to detail, creativity, organization (and FUN!), was just above and beyond anything I could have EVER dreamed of. I knew I was in excellent hands from day one. During all of the months leading up to my wedding, as well as my wedding day, friends would constantly tell me how I was the least stressed bride they had ever seen. I owe that to Jolene and her awesomely talented team. It is so clear so see how much they just love what they do, and they truly care so much about all of their clients. I honestly do not have enough amazing things to say about Laurel and Rose. My wedding was the most magical day for my husband and I, and I wish I could give them 5 million stars on here. I also wish I could have my wedding all over again, EXACTLY as it was! Thank you again and again Laurel & Rose, highly recommend to everyone!

I cannot say enough fabulous things about Laurel & Rose! They delivered the wedding of my dreams and I know none of it would have been possible without them.

Living in NYC, I was concerned planning a wedding in Boulder, CO would be tough, but with Jolene, I always felt that we were in great hands! She made the entire wedding planning process fun and stress free guiding us seamlessly through all of the ups and downs. I had a strong vision of what I wanted and wasn't sure it was possible to bring it to life in Boulder, Colorado. Not only did Jolene understand my vision, but she honestly made it even better than I could have imagined! She is well respected in the industry and has incredible relationships bringing together a team of hard working and talented vendors. During the wedding weekend, Jolene went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and was always a few steps ahead of me - which is rare to find! The execution of the event was seamless and there was not one detail that did not go without notice.

Jolene truly cares about each of her clients and you can tell that she has a true passion for what she does. Not only did she take the time to get to know me and my now husband, but my entire family! She made our wedding weekend one we will never forget and I am so happy to call Jolene my friend. We will look back on our experience with the fondest of memories and we have Laurel and Rose to thank.

It is very rare to find people who are equal parts business-savvy as well as wildly creative. I found this full package in Laurel & Rose.

L&R delivered the destination wedding of my dreams in Vail, Colorado, and I am positive none of it would have been possible without them. My now husband and I had a rough vision of what we wanted for our big day, but were totally overwhelmed by the planning process and didn't know where to start. From square one, Jolene and her team swooped in and immediately relieved our feelings of stress and uncertainty.

L&R took the foundation of our ideas and turned them into a reality with flawless execution. They guided us the whole way through, always 100 steps ahead. They provided us with helpful tools and resources and curated an all-star team of vendors who truly blew us alway. While we remained focused on the big picture, L&R got down and dirty in the details. It was such a relief, especially in planning a destination wedding, to know that Jolene had our backs and was covering all the bases we didn't even know existed.

Beyond talent, I deeply value Jolene's personality and friendship. She took the time to get to know us, so she could make personalized recommendations that made sense for our vision. Though there are many unromantic elements to planning a wedding that people don't always talk about, Jolene helped us navigate all the up's and down's - and it never felt like she was doing so because that's her job; you could tell her heart was truly in it. She always took the time to listen, and we could always count on her for honest advice. I can genuinely say I'm going to miss having a reason to talk to her so much now that our wedding is over!

All in all, if you want to throw an epic event, have fun while doing it, and work with incredible people, the answer is simple: hire Laurel & Rose.

Planning my son's June 3rd wedding with Jolene Peterson and her team at Laurel & Rose was fun from day one. She listened to our ideas of what we wanted, added her own creativity and professionalism, executed every detail of the rehearsal dinner, wedding and brunch perfectly, kept us up to date on budget and decision-making and we couldn't have had lovelier events or a better time planning them with her. I can't recommend her highly enough! She is someone you hope to stay in touch with, and I am looking forward to our next son getting married just to see her again!

5 stars isn't nearly enough. My sister used Laurel & Rose for her wedding last September so I already had a sneak preview of what this incredible team was capable of, but even with the highest of expectations going in to the wedding planning process, Jolene and her team absolutely blew us away. Jolene is both personable and professional and kept me completely calm through an otherwise crazy 11 months. She is filled with endless creative ideas and her attention to detail is impeccable, and Laurel & Rose worked tirelessly to put together the wedding of my dreams (and the entire weekend was nothing short of that). Jolene is an absolute genius and she and her team are an absolute pleasure to work with, and to say that I would highly recommend Laurel & Rose is an understatement!!!

I found Laurel and Rose via Instagram. We live in NYC but spend a lot of time in Aspen, Colorado. One of the Aspen Instagram feeds I follow, posted the image of this incredibly beautiful summer wedding on the mountains of Snowmass. I was completely drawn to the aesthetics and grace of the event. Thankfully they tagged their event planner: Laurel and Rose. I saved the information and when the time came for us to start planning for our kids Bar-Mitvah in NYC, we emailed them. This is when we met Jolene Peterson, the founder of Laurel and Rose (note the company is named after her 2 sisters!).
We immediately knew this was the only person that would bring our vision to life for an organic, graceful and beautiful event for our twin boys. Jolene flew to NYC twice before our event. I can truly say she is an expert in destination events. Our vision was to bring the Aspen mountains to NYC and Jolene and her team executed flawlessly. I really don't know where to begin because the immaculate attention to detail was so exceptional. She is a genius of bringing not just an event to life but an entire experience. She worked on this event from Colorado and it was as if she was a local, that is how well she understands the event markets around the country and worldwide. She is hands-on as his her entire team and she pays attention to every nuance of an event. No request rattles her and everyone of our requests was executed to perfection.
She is exceptional at keeping a strict timeline from when and where to print the invites to fully managing the entire flow of the evening.
The outcome was a flawless 7-hour Bar-Mitvah event (the ceremony preceded the party and she organized that too). The NYC demographic is one that isn't easily impressed. However this event blew everyone away.

We planned our Palm Springs wedding from Australia so we really needed some help on ground to keep things running efficiently. Sam and Jolene were truely incredible, nothing was too hard or too much for them to handle. We appreciated them more and more as the wedding day approached, especially on the day when we wanted to relax and enjoy ourselves. I cannot thank them enough. We could not be more over the moon about the wedding, rehearsal dinner, and Sunday pool-party/brunch that Jolene (the genius behind Laurel and Rose) planned for us at the Parker Palm Springs just weeks ago. Truly, we are still on cloud nine, and this is a testament to a million factors, including: (1) her brilliant handling of every single sub-contractor and individual who was part of the wedding -- from the floral team to the 'glam squad' to the folks who produced monogrammed fanny packs, she managed every detail, (2) her knowledge of EVERYTHING Palm Springs, (3) her LA-based style wizard, Samantha, who led the charge on everything for us related to bridal attire and bridesmaid/bridesman looks, and was my personal savior, (4) her general creativity and ability to turn a space into a SPACE, and (5) her wonderful personality and general zest for life, which translates into having a partner for the whole experience from day one through post-wedding bliss. We could not recommend Jolene, Samantha, and the rest of the team more highly.

When my wife and I (who live in Wisconsin) decided that we wanted to get married in the mountains, we knew we were going to need some help. We found Laurel and Rose by chance (or maybe it was destiny?) and before we knew it we were in Colorado visiting potential locations with our new wedding planner, Jolene. After our initial conversation with her she immediately understood what we were looking for, and on that first trip she brought us to the venue where we ultimately got married.

Jolene was very organized and basically held our hands through everything leading up to the wedding, taking a ton of the stress out of the planning process and allowing us to get excited for our big day. She got to know us and what we were looking for, and when it came time to decide on something she always had the perfect option as one of her suggestions. She never made us feel like our ideas weren’t good, but at the same time she leveraged her experience to give us thoughtful advice. We were incredibly happy with the way the day came together and with all of the great vendors we got to work with.

The day of the wedding she was there early and kept the trains running on schedule. She oversaw every aspect of the venue and event to ensure it was everything that we were looking for. She took care of every little detail, many of which wouldn’t have even occurred to us without her. It turned out even better than we imagined.

We highly recommend Laurel and Rose to anyone who wants to plan the perfect, unique experience for their big day.

I recently worked with Jolene & her team from Laurel & Rose on a wedding in Steamboat Springs. This was her first event in Steamboat, and you never would have known it. Jolene's attention to detail, organization, and coordinating of the vendors was second to none. Her bright smile, passion for her business, and professionalism make her a joy to work with. I can't wait for another bride to book Laurel & Rose so we get to see Jolene, Samantha, & Kristin back in Steamboat again soon!

Jolene from Laurel and Rose helped me plan and hold a rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. I live 2000 miles away from where the wedding was taking place and needed someone who knew the area and the local vendors. Jolene hit it out of the park. Working with her is a pleasure. She has terrific ideas, is organized and very flexible. From the beginning of the planning to the night of the event, she was on top of every detail and nothing was overlooked. Perfection in Wedding Planning

I’m generally skeptical of wedding reviews because everyone thinks their wedding was THE BEST DAY EVER, and that is how it should be. Therefore, it will be hard for me to find the objective words to depict the planning team at Laurel and Rose.

The experience was seamless and fun. Jolene and her team worked together to clarify the vision of the bride and groom, and took it to the next level. Laurel and Rose has style and sophistication, coupled with the experience to find the best vendors in each category. The communications were quick and responsive; there was never any doubt that each item was being handled in a timely and professional manner.

I’m convinced that the Laurel and Rose team could plan a wedding on the far side of the moon. They are the most efficient and competent people I have ever encountered.
Working with Jolene and her team made wedding coordination fun and easy, with the desired results, it was perfection in planning.

Jolene from Laurel & Rose is the BEST wedding planner a bride could ask for. She is incredibly organized, knowledgeable, kind, able to suggest vendors and decor that match your taste and dreams, as well as handle any crisis or difficult family member with grace, while definitively putting any issue to bed.

She spent a year and a half answering hundreds of e-mails filled with questions, and always answered every single one of them thoroughly - always quieting every small anxiety I had.

I highly recommend Laurel & Rose to any couple wanting to get married, no matter what size or style their wedding is. Jolene is such an asset and we could not have done our wedding without her. She brought our dream wedding to life and we will forever be grateful.

I highly recommend using Jolene as a wedding planner. She made our wedding seamless, enjoyable, easy, and fun. She is so efficient and professional - she basically planned my entire wedding in Colorado when I live abroad and helped me by Skyping while doing the tasting, flower arrangements, site visits, etc all on video. Laurel & Rose truly made our wedding weekend beyond anything we could have imagined. Jolene and her wonderful team were supportive, honest and just a joy to work with throughout our 10 month engagement and throughout the BIG day. They did everything and more to make sure our weekend ran smoothly and that our guests were very well taken care of. Jolene thought of every last details and supported me and my fiance along the way. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we owe so much of it to Laurel and Rose! Jolene was amazing and kept everything on time and moving seamlessly even with huge wedding parties and families to wrangle! We had a destination wedding in Snowmass, CO with 230+ guests, so there were lots of moving parts and complicated logistics, but the team at Laurel and Rose handled it beautifully! I can't say enough good things about this company!

Working with Laurel and Rose Events was the best decision we could have ever made. I thought being creative and artistic I would be able to do this entire event myself. I was clearly mistaken. Jolene is incredibly talented. She saw our vision and brought it to life. She is knowledgeable, professional, friendly , flexible, and super positive. She has incredible resources that I could have never found on my own, and she offered advice and suggestions whenever I needed them. Jolene even helped put together our favors, which was totally NOT in our contract. She did it because we were needing some extra help. That is just the kind of person she is. She was super easy to work with, always answered emails immediately and made us feel like we were her only clients, when we knew she was actually super busy. Jolene has an incredible resume of past experience and we feel so fortunate to have worked with her. I would HIGHLY recommend her and her company to anyone who is looking to have a worry- free event.
