Where do I even begin? From the moment we inquired with Laura and Drew, I knew our wedding photography was going to be something truly special.
When we initially reached out, we weren’t even engaged yet, but knew we HAD to have them for our day and they made it easy to feel like that would be possible! The biggest thing you need to know going into this process is you don’t just want photographers, you want people who become confidants, listen to your every idea, and make your day uniquely yours. That is Lura and Drew. They took the time to understand our vision and worked tirelessly to bring it to life, offering valuable insights and suggestions along the way.
When working with them, it was very easy to feel their genuine passion for their craft and unwavering dedication to their clients. Their ability to make capture our day in pictures that made anyone who saw them feel, was exactly what we wanted and what we’ll cherish so much for all the years that come. They also made our entire wedding weekend feel like a breeze. Despite the inevitable chaos (that can particularly radiate when we were the ones running the wedding at a cabin in a remote part of WV instead of a venue), they radiated calmness and positivity, which put me at ease being an anxious bride haha!
Being in the creative field as well, it’s not often that you come across people who not only excel at what they do but also genuinely care about the people they work with. Laura and Drew are those rare gems. They are more than just photographers; they are friends who share in your joy and celebrate your love as if it were their own and you’d be crazy not to have them capture your day! -

There is nothing quite like the peace and joy and love and laughter you feel when you spend your wedding day with Laura and Drew. Hiring Laura and Drew was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Not only did they capture every moment perfectly, but they have an incredible eye for special genuine moments shared between guests. We never felt awkward or rushed and we were constantly being hyped up by them. Not only are they talented at what they do, but they are also just genuine, lovely people. The photos and the memories they captured for us are precious and incredible. Hire them!! 10/10!! -

When I tell you we searched for hours for a wedding photographer, I truly mean that we went through hundreds of wedding photographers pages before stumbling upon Laura & Drew. Knowing that we were going to be spending all day with these people, we wanted to make sure we found someone that we connected with right off the bat and that viewed us as more than just "clients" - and that's exactly what happened with Laura & Drew.
From our initial Zoom call, we clicked with Laura in seconds. She took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple, and also shared a lot about herself to make sure we knew exactly who we were getting for our big day. She was extremely transparent with her style and services, which lined up with exactly what we were looking for. She made us feel super comfortable and like we've been friends for years, and it was a no brainer to hire her and Drew for our big day.
For our engagement photos, my husband and I aren't exactly "in front of the camera" people (my husband literally avoid photos at all costs). We had to reschedule our date due to rain, and Laura made sure to find us another location that fit our vibe. She guided us through the whole photo shoot, and was able to direct us on what to do whenever we were feeling awkward (ex. we never know what to do with our hands in photos and Laura would be super quick to tell us to put our hand in our pocket, hold hands, etc). As the session progressed, we finally started to loosen up a bit and I've truly never felt more comfortable and natural in front of a camera than with Laura behind it. She somehow got us to break out of our shells, get super goofy with our photos, and really let our personalities shine without things feeling too staged or over-planned. She got our photos back to us super quickly, and we were mind blown at how amazing they turned out!
For our wedding, we knew exactly what to expect from Laura and even got the amazing bonus of her husband Drew to be our second shooter. Once again they made us feel SO GOOD in front of the camera, and directed us every step of the way. Truly felt like runway models in the BEST way, and during those candid moments we barely even knew they were there. Laura & Drew had such good ideas for photo opportunities based on what our venue had to offer, and some of my favorite shots manifested themselves from those ideas (have you ever taken photos in a claw foot tub with your wedding dress on?!). They made sure to get shots of all the details/moments we valued, take photos of not only us but also our guests, were able to pivot their plans if we thought of something last minute we wanted to photograph, and were just able to keep things fun, airy, and stress-free. Not to mention that Laura & Drew are just amazingly kind-hearted humans, so it truly felt like we were just hanging out with our best friends the whole day. My mom even got a selfie with Laura and a bunch of guests commented on how much they LOVED talking with Laura & Drew, so I think their ability to even connect with all our guests speaks for itself and just shows how wonderful and caring they are as people.
Overall, I'd highly recommend hiring Laura & Drew to be your wedding day photographers (seriously, RUN don't walk to book them). From the incredible quality of the sneak peaks we've already gotten back (talk about the quickest turnaround time I've ever experienced) to their magical ability to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera, we truly had the most incredible experience being their "models" for the day. These two truly care about their "friends" (there was never a time Laura or Drew referred to us as clients - we were always friends!!) and put so much effort into making sure you get photographs that you'll be able to look back at with a smile, and cherish for a lifetime. Thank you Laura and Drew for being the BEST photographers any couple could dream of - we love you so much friends!!! -

Highly recommend!!!
Laura was absolutely amazing !!!!! I was referred to her by a friend and we did maternity photos with her and then she came to our wedding to do those photos as well. We had a crazy crowd but oh my gosh, she worked her magic and I’m so obsessed with the photos !!! She made everyone feel very comfortable for the photos to make them fun and was super speedy getting as many shots as possible. I’m so happy we were able to snag her for our big day. Highly recommend!!!! -

Hiring Laura for our wedding photography was a total win. She's super professional and always on the ball. Communicating with her was easy and stress-free. She really listened to what we wanted and totally delivered.
Her prices are totally reasonable, especially for the quality of the shots we got. Every picture tells a story and we couldn't be happier. Laura has a great eye and her photos are just stunning.

Could not have asked for a better experience. We had Laura's associate photographers, Amanda Graves and Jaclyn Auletta, but Laura was involved throughout with planning and did all the photo editing. The team is proactive and responsive leading up to the day, came with so much enthusiasm, and took wonderful photos. We are in love with our gallery!! -

Y'all... I don't even know what to say about how much I love Laura and her husband, Drew. Not only did they capture our wedding day brilliantly, their presence actually made the day even better!
Laura is exceptionally great to work with. Her paperwork is easy and prompt, she responds to emails quickly, and will even set up a virtual call to discuss whatever you would like. Her prices are fair for the amount of photos you receive and the quality of her work and service. We actually paid an additional travel fee to fly Laura and Drew from NC to Orlando, FL because we loved them so much we would have paid basically any price!
Laura did our engagement photos and wedding photos. Scheduling our engagement session was easy and stress free (as was the wedding, but you probably already guessed that!). We met her in Miami since she was down there anyway. Laura was down for an adventure so we went to a botanical garden where we got eaten by mosquitos but Laura was positive and having fun the whole time. The photos are GORGEOUS and we used them for all of our wedding materials and website. We have gotten so many compliments on all of our photos!
Laura and Drew arrived a day in advance of our wedding and let us know when they arrived so we had peace of mind. They were on time to our wedding (if not early) and stayed until they were contracted to leave, not a minute early. They were having so much fun at our wedding and captured so many amazing moments. There is a very funny video of Drew eating an ice cream cone from our dessert and taking dance-floor pics, which we love! As a note, they are super fun but also take their work very seriously and were busting their butts the whole day to make sure they caught every precious moment.
Laura and Drew made us feel so comfortable. They are hilarious and go-with-the-flow but also make sure they stick to the timeline and are diligent about getting every picture you want. They arranged all of our bridal party and family photos, making sure they all looked good. You probably know that these pictures can be a little chaotic with all the people moving around but ours were a well-oiled machine thanks to Laura and Drew.
Laura and Drew are also very sensitive to family matters. We have some complicated family dynamics and they handled them like champions, making sure our day was stress free.
It is clear that Laura and Drew are committed to making sure the couple has a wonderful stress-free day. Laura carried around my extra makeup all day so I could blot my face and I'm pretty sure Drew served us drinks at one point because we were thirsty taking pictures. All of our friends are obsessed with Laura and Drew - we still talk about how much we love them several months later - because they are actually that wonderful.
Laura and Drew are EXTREMELY inclusive. We are a same-sex couple and were so comfortable with them. All of their paperwork is gender neutral, which is not something I can say for our other vendors (no shade, it's just the truth) and it was sincerely appreciated. Some of our friends use they-them pronouns and Laura was sure to get this information in advance so she could make sure to call everyone what they prefer.
We received a surprisingly large sneak peak of photos the day after our wedding. All of our friends and family were shocked at how quickly we got all those photos, but it's because Laura is an editing machine. We got all our other photos back well within the timeframe provided. There are literally hundreds of photos and every single one is perfection. Laura even did a little bit of photoshopping that I requested, which I really appreciated.
Long story short, look no further for the wedding (or other event!) photographer of your dreams. Laura and Drew are truly one of a kind (well, two of a kind) and they will make your wedding day exceptional! I wish I could get married again so I can hang out with them more. -

I would recommend Laura to anyone, anywhere, anytime. From the first call, you can tell how passionate she is about her work and what a kind and warm person she is! She helped guide us through the wedding planning process from the very beginning and was so communicative. She provided incredible resources and answered all of our questions that helped us think about both the big picture and little details and helped tie everything together. On both the day of our engagement session and our wedding day, she helped create the fun and comfortable environment I wanted. She had sent a questionnaire for us to answer before the wedding that helped us plan the photo details for the day. With that information and Laura and her second photographer's guidance, the day went so smoothly and we were able to really be present at our wedding and maximize our time with our people, which we are SO grateful for. The pictures themselves are INCREDIBLE. They captured the best styled photos and candid moments made even better by their fun personalities and the vibes they helped create!! Truly cannot recommend enough! -

We have the BEST wedding photos!!
THE ABSOLUTE BEST. If you want stunning photos, Laura and Drew will knock it out of the park. I haven't even gotten our full gallery yet, but if the sneak peeks are any indication of what's to come, it only going to get better and better. Laura and Drew were the most incredible people to work with. They listen to what you want, work in a way that makes you feel important, find a way to document the true emotion of your wedding day, and add ZERO stress to the day. They keep things on time, and put you completely at ease. Laura and Drew's attention to detail is meticulous, and their ability to make you feel like their only client is impressive - you'd never know how many other things they are juggling! Aside from being amazing people, their work is just incredible. I can't stop looking at photos from our wedding day and am so happy they were there to capture our day so perfectly. Thank you will never be enough. If you are looking for amazing photographers and amazing people - these two are the real deal!!! -

Laura & Drew are so much more than your average wedding photographers. They bring joy, fun, and simultaneously peaceful energy that is very appreciated on your big day. To say it honestly, Laura & Drew bring an essence that is so much more than any "photographer" -- they genuinely feel like part of your wedding party! They made everyone from the young ones we had to the oldest in the crew feel loved, welcomed, and confident while shooting. Lastly, this is the first time I've even mentioned that they are incredibly talented! Both during the wedding to grab those intimate shots that really matter the most, capturing moments in time, not just a 'photo'. Beyond this, they are great in post-production, knowing that a weird light post or a strand of hair in your mom's face on the one best family picture. Like MAGIC Laura removes that item or even does a face swap with the picture where mom looked great. I 1000% recommend Laura Memory Photography to any and everyone. EXTRA POINTS FOR: 1. Anyone looking to elope, this couple would put on a parka and follow you up Everest if you wanted to. (They stayed in our venue in the Italian countryside with us for three days!) 2. If you are part of the LGBTQ+ community, or your family is, this couple supports love in all of its incredible forms. 3. You want friends for life! These two are the kind of people that you will follow their journey, and they will follow yours, because they care deep down. Your wedding isn't just a job for them, it's part of their life forever and you feel that. -

Laura is such a wonderful photographer. She captured such special times in our lives so beautifully - our baby announcement, pregnancy, newborn and family photos when our baby was 7 months old. Best photographers EVER!
Laura and Drew were an absolute dream! From the beginning with video chats to make sure we were a good fit until the day of when they went on an entire adventure with us. They were so fun to work with that I felt like I was spending the best day of my life with two great friends. The photos came out absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite parts was convincing Laura to try riding my one wheel after getting just the best shots of me and my husband at sunset right after our ceremony just riding the curves of the foothills parkway. -

If you are in search of a photographer, search no further. Laura is your person! We booked Laura for our engagement photos and our wedding and could not be happier with how everything turned out! Laura makes taking photos easy and fun! She gives you prompts and ideas so you don't feel uncomfortable in front of the camera and by the end of the shoot, you feel like a model. On the wedding day Laura made sure to capture every moment while making sure we stuck to our timeline. Her photos truly captured the essence of our wedding and I cannot recommend using Laura enough! As an aside, she books up fast so be sure to reach out quickly! -
