DJ Aubrey for June Wedding

Aubrey fit every vibe we were going for in picking a DJ. I am so glad we made the decision to go with Laughing Gravy Entertainment. She did a great job of set up, obtaining our playlist, and gave us everything we could have asked for. She set up a meeting with us before our event to go over what type of vibe we were looking for, what songs we wanted to stay away from, and a timeline of our event. Aubrey was very genuine and kept the party going all night. She also included our 6 year old daughter, letting her run the DJ booth more than once, and made sure to include one of the most important people to us in every way. We cannot thank you enough for giving her that experience, she still talks about it over a year later and asked for a DJ booth to make her own jams at home. Thank you again for helping to make our wedding day one for the books. 10/10!

DJ Masen is the man!

We couldn't have been more impressed with DJ Masen during our wedding. He did such an incredible job getting everyone engaged, entertained and smiling all night long. He was extremely receptive to what we were looking for and executed it perfectly. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Best DJ Ever!

We had Mason at our wedding and he was amazing! He was energetic, funny and such a sweetheart. He was super understanding with our crazy schedules when it came to meeting up to go over the plans. Everyone loved him! He was a huge hit. Thank you so much!!!!

Aubrey is amazing!!!

Aubrey is amazing!!! She DJ'd our son's wedding three years ago and when our daughter became engaged earlier this year we reached out to Aubrey again. Why Aubrey?

1. She listens and is proactive. We had multiple calls and interactions to get everything just right. She had the perfect music selection and offered great suggestions. Aubrey is so easy to work with and a calming influence.

2. She goes above and beyond. For our daughter's wedding Aubrey was super helpful - everything from helping us set up table centerpieces to tracking down the venue staff to provide easels. Aubrey was totally invested in ensuring our daughter would have a great experience.

3. She knows how to emcee a wedding. Super professional, very warm and friendly. She kept all of us moving in the right direction, and the evening flowed incredibly smooth. One of our guests told us afterwards that our daughter's wedding reception was the best she ever attended, and I firmly believe Aubrey helped make that happen.

I cannot recommend Aubrey highly enough, and I will have her DJ every single event in the future whenever possible.

Amazing! Must hire

All that we can say is it was AWESOME!

Masen, was an awesome DJ and such a huge help before the wedding, from choosing songs and helping with the wedding ceremony music. The wedding went off without a hitch and the music for the ceremony turned out perfect! He was a positive and such a fun, professional person to have at our wedding!
Thank you Masen for a wonderful musical night and we all had so much fun dancing with the perfect music for our group!

Best in the Business!

We had the pleasure of working with Aubrey as our DJ for our wedding at Red Butte Garden, and it was one of the best choices we could have made! My husband and I have unique music taste; we wanted a soundtrack that differed from the typical wedding playlists. Aubrey was excited to take on the task, and did an incredible job of making the day exactly what we wanted it. Music is a huge part of our lives and it was incredible to work with a DJ who got that. Aubrey also was professional, prompt in her responses, and flexible when we wanted to change a few details last minute. We can't thank the crew at Laughing Gravy enough!

I worked with Aubrey for my wedding on October 20th and I couldn't be happier. What a lovely woman! She was so sweet when we first met, and she answered even the silliest of my questions. Play That Song

DJ Karlie was a dream! She MCd and kept the flow of the night and made sure to follow up with questions and changed some things last minute to better flow with our wedding. All the songs were perfect and she kept everyone moving and grooving, the shoe game was HILARIOUS, and she helped plan a few dance surprises. I even won the bet against my husband because he said no one from his side would dance and originally didn’t want a DJ - well he changed his tune and was glad she was there plus every single guest danced and danced! The floor was never empty. Prices are great and service was excellent!

Best way to get your guests dancing!

We loved our experience with Laughing Gravy, especially DJ Karlie! Karlie was so flexible with us and really bent over backwards to help us have the best reception experience including: 1) meeting with my husband and I remotely while out of state, 2) tailoring the level of interaction we wanted her to have with our guests, 3) helping us understand the process better! A terrific benefit of having her as our DJ is that she was the one that kept to the schedule, my husband and I did not have to think about it at all. We loved our experience with Laughin Gravy!

Magical Memorable Monumental Moments

Appropriate for occasion. Greatly facilitated happiness. Aubrey was able to capture the emotion of every well choreographed moment. Sentiment and romance blended, I can't say enough good about our DJ. Aubrey was easy to work with and was the best money we spent on our wedding. She kept our reception magically moving throughout the evening.

True professionals who know how to bring the party to life!

When I began looking for a DJ, my first stop was to LaughingGravy.com and I didn't look at a single DJ after that. I was so wow'd by their website, I HAD to reach out. Once I did, I knew I would do whatever it took, pay whatever the price (which was incredibly reasonable, by the way), to have a Laughing Gravy DJ. Every step of the way, DJ Masen was confident, open/flexible, understanding, and supportive. Even with a small wedding (60 people), Masen made sure there was never a shortage of people on the dance floor. We had so many compliments on the music, and he made sure to play the songs that were important to us as a couple. Masen was always prepared with questions and a note pad to make sure everyone was on the same page and nothing was missed. Of all the stress involved with planning a wedding, our DJ was always the easiest part. Masen clearly has loads of experience, is very professional, and is such a kind, fun man. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Masen and Laughing Gravy.

Professional & Personal - Laughing Gravy Had It All!

From the initial touchpoint with Masen to the actual wedding day, Laughing Gravy delivered and exceeded expectations at every turn. Masen found a way to make the wedding ultra-personal, by personally reaching out to discuss hosting our event as he speaks Russian, like my wife's family. That small gesture and excitement it generated kick-started a great partnership, including the ability to discuss challenging past-experiences Laughing Gravy had with our venue. Even at that moment, Masen and the team were open, honest, took steps to rectify any confusion, and delivered an amazing wedding day for my wife and I. What's more, during every phase of the consultation and planning process, Masen raised questions and focused on details that would have otherwise been missed on our end. I could not be happier with our decision and would recommend Laughing Gravy in a heartbeat!

DJ Karlie was nothing short of the BOMB dot com! Karlie not only kept our wedding timeline on pace, but she did the whole thing with the perfect touch of class, guest interaction, and humor! Many times throughout the evening, she had our guests laughing, which was so fun! Karlie knew exactly how to read the moment and play the perfect song to get everyone moving! Always wondeful year after year!!!

Totally worth every penny!

We weren't sure if we needed a DJ or not for our event. Small wedding dinner with dancing after. But dancing was at the TOP of my daughter's list of what she wanted to do on her special day. After shopping around I felt a little guilty going with Laughing Gravy just because they were the most affordable. Let me tell you, not only are they the best price I found, but our DJ - Aubrey - was awesome! She ran the night, from announcing the bride and groom, playing the fun shoe game with them, dimming the lights when needed and thanking the staff at the end of the night. She was fantastic, my daughter loved her, and we all had a blast! We will definitely use them again and recommend them!

Aubrey was AWESOME!

We hired Aubrey from Laughing Gravy to be our DJ for our annual Users Group Conference (corporate event). She was fantastic! She jumped on a call with us to get an idea of our event and style/theme, and she playfully even participated by getting into costume. (It was a themed Intergalactic costume party) We can't thank her enough for all she did and for being flexible, picking awesome music, and keeping our group dancing all night long! DJ and MC!

We selected to go with Laughing Gravey for DJ services at our wedding in September not only for their good prices but for the 5 star reviews online. And I have to say they did not dissapoint! We had DJ Malcolm who did an absolutely phenomenal job! Not only was he reading the crowd and adjusting the music accordingly, he MC’d, kept the wedding timeline on track, and got people off the tables and to the dance floor. We would reccommend Laughing Gravey and DJ Malcom to anyone! Thanks so much for all you did to make our day special!

Probably the most important investment into a wedding is the DJ. I've been to so many weddings that do the Homemade DJ, and it never turns out well. Malcolm was AMAZING and got everyone involved. He sat with us and I realized that he's "got this". I didn't need to micromanage or even worry about him whatsoever, which was nice when considering all the other things I DID need to worry about. Would highly recommend!

Masen was fantastic! He picked up on the audience and played the best music, was so flexible and easy to work with, and even made sure we had something to eat if we needed it. I’d recommend them to everyone if I could. Our wedding and reception went so smoothly with his announcements & he added some wonderful sentiments when it came to the cake, special dances, and even the send off. This company is top notch!

I cannot say enough how amazing it was to work with Aubrey from Laughing Gravy. She was totally professional, responsive, helpful and really worked with us to come up with the perfect music for our wedding that fit us just right. The guests were raving at how great she was and she even included a game for us to do in front of our guests and a group dance. It was phenomenal. I would 100% recommend Laughing Gravy. They were beyond worth the value and a perfect addition to our wedding day.

Masen was incredible through the entire experience! We had reached out to him a year before our wedding and he was always so responsive with any questions we had during that year. He was also very happy playing the kind of music we liked. He played every song we asked him to play and kept the vibe of the wedding absolutely perfect. We had primarily hired a DJ for the 'mcee' part, and he did not disappoint in this area. He kept the flow of the entire wedding moving and was great at keeping our party organized from one section at a time - ceremony to cocktail hour, dinner to toasts, etc. They were affordable for all the services provided as well. I would highly recommend Laughing Gravy and Masen to anyone and everyone. He helped make our day absolutely special and you won't be disappointed.

DJ Aubrey was great to work with! She was willing to meet in person to go over the logistics for the ceremony and to make sure everything was just the way we wanted it! Not only that, she gave me her cell number where I could text her at all hours. She had a very clam, sweet personality. She also made the dancing portion really fun with the lights and her ideas to get the guests out on the dance floor (this was really important since our guests aren’t the dancing type lol). I definitely recommend DJ Aubrey! I am very happy with her service and price.

Karlie was incredibly amenable to my totally indecisive nature. She took every change and note in stride and was so professional and lovely. The night of the wedding was excellent- she played to the crowd and watched for my cues. 10/10 would recommend her to another couple.

We are so happy we hired Laughing Gravy for our wedding day, and Masen was truly a gem of a DJ! He was so responsive in the planning process, even as I emailed him multiple times in the week leading up to the wedding making changes to the day-of schedule and updating song requests. Our ceremony and reception music were really important to us and he totally nailed it. We were so impressed with how well he ran the events during the reception (intro of wedding party, cake cutting, dance party, and our very important/personal close out songs). He checked in with us a few times during the evening to keep things on schedule, and to get our input on how to adjust music and timing to our liking (he let us know when we had about 3 songs left in the evening before our close out song, and let us decide if we wanted to do one more slow song for the evening, or to keep the party moving!). We especially loved how engaging he was was the guests, and the hilarity that ensued from the cake cutting process. We received so many compliments on the cake cutting, and we loved how it was a focal point of the evening before the party really let loose! He did a great job filtering through song requests from guests and sticking to the music themes we wanted for our cocktail hour, dinner, and reception dancing. Carli was wonderful! She spent plenty of time talking things through ... I had three different types at my wedding, and she had great music for all of them. She was in contact with me not just once but several times beforehand and did a super job of timing the action that night so that everyone, including me,had a blast. I didn’t initially plan on having a DJ for our wedding celebration (we’re both into our 60’s) but I’m so glad I went with Carli. Getting tons of positive comments. She’s great!

Very professional but fun! Malcom helped keep everything organized and run smoothly, while having fun and make everyone get involved. I didn't have a huge wedding, so it was difficult to get everyone on the dance floor, but our dj was amazing and continued to keep things going. Highly recommend not skipping on a dj and going for this guy!

I would recommend Malcolm for anyone looking for a DJ! He is amazing. He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night, and was more than accommodating and so kind to all of our guests, and truly went out of the way for us as the bride and groom as well. Malcolm was the DJ at our first event and had to have him back for our second! He is amazing! He knows how to get everyone involved and having fun. Laughing Gravy was generous in donating their time for a charity event benefiting the Kostopolos Dream Foundation at their annual Valentine's Day event. DJ Aubrey played an incredible selection of songs that all of the camp participants LOVED and danced to. We hosted the event at the aquarium in Draper, and the kids didn't even want to leave the dance floor to see the exhibits because they were having so much fun! Aubrey was an expert in working the crowd and had a ton of flexibility in taking requests and reading the room. She elevated the event to astounding heights!

Because of non-cooperative weather, Malcolm had to be very flexible as to where and when he could finally set up at the reception venue. He was very professional and upbeat. The music was great and people danced all night long. We would highly recommend Laughing Gravy.

Masen was AWESOME! We had our wedding ceremony, followed by dinner, followed by the reception all of which would not have transitioned as smooth or been nearly as fun without our awesome DJ! We can't say enough about how happy we were with our DJ, Malcolm!! He is seriously a life saver! He is part DJ and part wedding planner! He was so helpful and knowledgeable and helped us with so much more than a DJ normally does! We also found out after the wedding that he had accidentally booked our wedding on his daughters graduation, and being a man of his word, he didn't cancel on us! You can tell he truly cares about everyone having a good time. At one point during pictures after the ceremony, my cake was taking a lean, so he found a very nonchalant way to have us cut our cake and then head back out to finish pictures. He made it seem like no big deal at all and everything went on smoothly. I can't tell you how many compliments we got about him too. He had so many great things to incorporate into our wedding (the shoe game was my favorite and a guest favorite as well!). To those couples trying to put all the pieces in place for a successful wedding and reception, don't forget a DJ. I never realized until my daughters recent wedding what a difference a DJ could make. Masen from Laughing Gravy exceeded all our expectations and turned our reception into the social event of the year! Before the event, Masen met with the bride and groom and went over every critical piece of the evening making sure that it was exactly what they had envisioned and fit their personalities and preferences. He then orchestrated, and directed the evening in a way that produced the ultimate celebration and power packed party. He involved everyone and brought the entire wedding party together to celebrate, let loose an enjoy the evening. So many of our guests said that they had never had so much fun at a reception. Masen took charge and made things happen. He was so professional and knew exactly how to work the crowd, pull people together and make that special wedding day magic. As the Mother of the Bride, I would highly recommend him. Being old school, I never thought that a DJ was a necessity at a wedding. I can now honestly say that I would never have a wedding without one. Take my advice, A DJ is more important and critical than a wedding planner. It was an event that I will never forget thanks to Masen.

DJ Bryce was the consummate professional and absolutely MADE our wedding reception!! His voice is unreal (so DJ-sounding!), his mic-time was so entertaining and engaging, and made the groom and I feel so special and loved on our wedding day. Bryce with Laughing Grave absolutely made my daughter's wedding and reception SO much fun! I didn't realize what a critical role a DJ could play, but now that I've been through the experience once I can see that it's very important to have a good one! Bryce was wonderful...just the right amount of tradition mixed with fun. The music at the reception was amazing. I was worried that no one would dance but that was absolutely NOT the case with Bryce in charge. No one could sit still and there was dancing until the very last song. Cris was the DJ for my wedding and he was the perfect addition. People are still talking about how great he was. He was very interactive, listened to all of my personal requests and worked with me every step of the way. His energy is contagious and he made the party complete!!! Thank you Cris.

Laughing Gravy gave me an affordable option without having to sacrifice on quality. Bryce was a blast! I kept getting compliments from our guests about him. Everyone was confusing him as one of our friends because he would dance with us while he DJed!! I loved it! His energy was infectious. I was grateful to have him host our wedding and maintain a good timeline for everything. The funny thing is, I barely got to meet him! I was planning from out of town and didn't have a chance to fly in beforehand and meet with all our vendors. We talked over the phone and I said "hi" real quick on the wedding day, but for the most part he just did his own thing! I was impressed and glad it went off so well with very little input from me or my husband.

We had a very diy wedding, although the price tag doesn't really reflect it. The DJ was one place we splurged because we had seen their work before and knew if we wanted to keep our guests on the dance floor we needed Laughing Gravy. Everyone keep asking, because the DJ was so personal, how we knew him. Everyone assumed he knew our life story because he incorporated everything we told him into the event. There wasn't a dry eye in the house with the daddy daughter dance and when the groom's mom's most hated song started to play for the groom mother dance, the entire room broke out in laughter when she threw her shoe at him. It was an evening full of laughs and fun and a bunch of people with tired feet at the end of the evening. Thanks for making my daughter's dreams come true.

Durven pretty much MADE our day. Everyone has been talking about what a fun atmosphere and celebration our wedding truly was. Lots of dancing and laughs- the perfect way to remember the most important day of your life. Even my husband got out there on the dance floor and cut a rug - and I've never seen him dance like that before! I will tell everyone I know that is getting hitched about Laughing Gravy. Not only will the bride and groom remember it as an unforgettable night, but so will all of the guests!

Cris Behrens was the DJ for my wedding and Reception. He was INCREDIBLE! Louland Falls recommended Cris from Laughing Gravy, and I am SO glad we chose to have him be a part of our wedding. He helped me make decisions and made me feel at ease before and during the wedding. Our reception was a dance party that lasted the whole night! He was great at making music choices as well as taking guest's requests.

Choose Cris if you are not sure who you want from Laughing Gravy! He was the BEST!

Great price and Kevin did a great job! He was extremely professional and was very helpful. I would make sure you give them a list of music you want played, otherwise they play the very generic music, but they will play whatever you want!

Easiest part of the wedding planning! We had the pleasure of working with Cris for our wedding and he was wonderful! He really took the time to get everything absolutely perfect, even up until the weekend before the big day and I changed my mind with a few things, he didn't even make a fuss. We even had a couple big changes the wedding day, and he just took it in stride and helped make the evening even better than planned. They were so easy to work with! Every person from our day has said how much fun and how perfect the DJ/MC was. I have even given out their number to friends who are getting married this year. I could not recommend them more! Absolutely wonderful!

We had the pleasure of having Bryce DJ our wedding on May 15, 2014. He was incredible! We couldn't be happier. He was very professional and got our guests laughing. He even had our dads and groomsmen dancing to YMCA (very hilarious)
He was awesome and handled some unexpected surprises very well (garter toss, jewish chair dance, etc haha) We have had numerous comments from our guests on how awesome he was and how you could truly tell he loved his job. It's almost been two months since the wedding and every time someone mentions it to us Bryce's name always comes up!
Thank you so much for your amazing job! Bryce added so much to our wedding, and I know it wouldn't have been as much fun without him there!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to have Laughing Gravy DJ our wedding. From the very beginning they were so great and easy to work with! They made us feel like OUR day mattered and we had complete confidence in their experience and professionalism! Since our wedding we've had so many of our family and friends comment on what a FUN wedding it was. A specific comment that stands out is "I've never been to a wedding where THIS MANY people were up dancing." My new father in law even got up and did the Electric Slide when it played! Ha Ha :) Too fun!
Bryce was great! From start to finish all our song choices and the timing of them were perfect. Spot on!
He made us and our quests laugh all night and it was a good feeling to share our special day with someone who really cared about making it perfect for us!

Laughing Gravy does an amazing job!! Durvan DJ'ed my wedding and he was fabulous! I went with him because he did one of my best friend's weddings and did a great job. I am graduating with my Master Degree and am throwing a graduation party and one of my other good friends also used Laughing Gravy for her wedding! We contacted them and they are DJ'ing our graduation party! They are super professional, do exactly what you ask, and are very nice! We had Kevin from Laughing Gravy as our DJ for our wedding this summer, and he was great! We had a really good experience working with them. The company was recommended to us by our wedding coordinators (Carissima Events - also great) who said they'd always had good experiences working with this company. I felt like the DJ was such an important part of the wedding that we really wanted someone who came highly recommended. We met with him a month or so prior to the wedding and they had a questionairre for us to make sure they gathered all the information they needed about music and MCing all the different parts of the wedding. He was very thorough and made us feel really confident about working with him.
The wedding went off without a hitch, and Kevin did a great job! I would definitely recommend Kevin and Laughing Gravy to anyone!

Our wedding planner recommended that we hire Laughing Gravy to DJ our wedding and reception. She said to call them early because they're so good they book up quickly. Luck was on our side, because Laughing Gravy was available on our date. I was worried that our wedding in Bountiful would be a challenge for the company since they are based in South Jordan, but that wasn't the case. The DJ came on time and was well-dressed. Though it wasn't really planned, he seemed to "host" the reception. Our wedding included the ceremony and a traditional seated dinner, toast, and dancing. The DJ graciously announced the best man and maid of honor during the toasts. At the reception, he kept things moving during the cake-cutting and all the traditional dances. He had a few surprises that kept the mood light and the wedding-goers entertained. I was most impressed by his easy manner and natural way with the crowd. He knew what to do and didn't require any prompting or additional instructions, which was nice for me because I had enough on my mind! The guests, including my mom and aunt, commented on his knowledge of wedding traditions. Our prep for the day was simple. The DJ met with us twice at our request. He recorded the details of our day and our song choices for the ceremony and traditional dances. We left the rest of the music choices up to him, and he did a great job selecting songs that appealed to a range of ages and diversity of music listeners. Honestly, during the wedding the DJ did a better job of keeping things on track than our wedding planner! He was one of the biggest reasons our wedding day was such a success!

We had Durvan as our DJ. He was awesome! So entertaining, I had numerous people tell us how fun and funny our DJ was. I was from out of town and did not meet with him ahead of time, so I was a little bit nervous, but they exceeded my expectations! I would recommend them to anyone!
