Lakeside Gardens is set in a beautiful natural park like setting. We worked with Noel from the Lakeside staff. She was awesome! Kindra assisted Noel with our wedding. Lakeside Gardens support of my husband and me was beyond our expectations. Lakeside Gardens support of us as members of the LGBQT+ community was so important. Noel and the entire team made Aaron and me feel like family. Lakeside Gardens offers three bakers, three florists, multiple menus of food options and color schemes. Lakeside Gardens was the one stop wedding venue that we were looking for but had a hard time finding. If you are straight, LGBQT+, or something in-between, definitely meet with the Lakeside Gardens staff. Noel, Kindra and the other staff go above and beyond other venues. We toured 5 other venues; Lakeside Gardens beat them all!

This hidden gem is pure magic! Words cant describe just how much I love this place. I felt transported to a different dimension. One of serenity and peace. It made my guest take a quick long needed for some, romantic date. Taylor and Noelle were so helpful in the process. The food everyone raved about! They just made everything easy and stress free. It rained on my wedding day...yess it did. They were able to set up the ceremony indoors and magically turned it into the reception. The studio was loke a fair godmother in disguise. Hair and make up was just as I imagined and more. Thank you all for making my wedding dreams come true!

This is the most beautiful venue in the Portland area. We looked at them all. Food was amazing and Taylor was absolutely the best coordinator I have ever worked with. I will have all my events there.

Lakeside Gardens was a wonderful venue for our July 2023 wedding. They were exceptional to work with and made our day one to remember. We chose this venue because of the beautiful grounds, exceptional communication with the staff, and the inclusiveness of options that they provide. I never felt overwhelmed during the planning process thanks to Taylor, our day of coordinator. Our guests raved about the venue and loved the swan. I highly recommend Lakeside Gardens for your future venue needs.

Lakeside Gardens is definitely a great place to celebrate our union. Everything was turned out as what we wanted: decorations, the colors of our motif, bouquet and food. We would also like to commend how our wedding cake was done; its appearance and the taste were perfect.

Above all, we are grateful to Ms. Taylor for the well-guided wedding preparation.

Lakeside Gardens was a wonderful vendor to work with from the very beginning through the very end. We would choose them all over again if given the opportunity to re-do our wedding, and we recommend them to anyone in Oregon. What first stood out in comparison to other venues back when we started our search in January 2022 was that they were the most responsive venue, and they always responded with a warm and kind tone. We ended up signing papers at that time for our January 2023 wedding, and they remained just as responsive through the entire year. We had a lot of questions both in person and in emails, and they were always happy to thoroughly answer every single question. We never felt rushed when inquiring, and we were always made to feel comfortable, even with the questions we felt a little silly asking (having never planned a wedding before and also being quite risk-averse people generally). While we were assigned a specific event coordinator for our special day, there are multiple staff members, so on any given day that we reached out for something, our assigned coordinator was not necessarily working. That was never a problem though--whoever was working was happy to respond right away, at least to say that our coordinator would get back to them on their next working day, but usually to take care of our question or request right then. Further, their staff clearly has excellent communication and collaboration among each other, because they were always on the same page about details regarding our event, payment progress, etc., and they were all just as approachable and caring. Every planning decision was rooted in what my spouse and I wanted for our wedding (rather than anyone else's preferences), we felt listened to and cared for, and there were never any unanticipated surprises. The prices that we were quoted felt fair upon comparing with similar packages at other venues. Choosing an off-season date also helped us with affordability. We chose the Elopement Package, and it included everything that we wanted for our intimate gathering. The fact that we didn't have to go search for a baker for our cake or an officiant or ask for coffee and water and a champagne toast to be added, etc. really reduced potential stress on my spouse and I. Lakeside Gardens also works with vendors that made add-ons (such as photography and videography) super easy. As a result, we didn't have to coordinate details like arrival times, payments, or other logistics with those vendors like we would have if we selected outside vendors. The venue itself is also breathtaking. It is tucked away from the street, has a huge no-stress parking lot, a fountain, a lake, and live swans. There are lots of places for beautiful photo opportunities outside. Though we didn't choose to take advantage of it, there is also a tempting opportunity to stay overnight in that dream world adjacent to your event if it's available. That space was recently redone and looks beautiful. Not only was that on-site lodging space recently redone, but the inside of the event space of Lakeside Gardens was recently redone with fresh renovations and it looks outstanding!!! It is crisp bright white and modern looking with beautiful floors that would complement any event's color scheme. That extends into the bathrooms and bridal suite. When you pair those clean finishes with the scene outside of the big windows, it makes for a really lovely environment all around, no matter whether folks are inside or outside. We have already begun to recommend Lakeside Gardens to friends and family for their events, as they were incredible to work with. We built a lot of trust in them working with them for the full year, and our event itself was exactly what we planned for and agreed upon. We even got prompt follow up from Lakeside Gardens after the event, ensuring that everything was taken care of as expected. They also requested feedback on how they could improve (which is the mark of a business with excellent customer services), but we really couldn't ask for more. We 100% recommend Lakeside Gardens in Oregon for any event.

After touring several different venues for our June 2022 wedding, we ended up at Lakeside Gardens. It was one I had found online, and it ended up being the right choice for my bride and I. From the coordinator, Taylor, to our last minute changes, to accommodating our 70 guests and support staff, to the catered tabled dinner; the preceding rehearsal dinner; the two night stay on the unique and valuable honeymoon suite, the entire experience couldn't have been better. Words cannot convey, what a wonderful experience this was; and the number of compliments we've received from guests really tells the overall story. Unequivocally, the wedding wouldn't have been the same without choosing Lakeside Gardens, and having such fantastic in-house support team.

We chose lakeside gardens because we fell in love with it from the start! Taylor is AMAZING!!!!!!! Even when we were having doubts she honestly made everything so much easier!! She was professional, understanding, she met all of our needs! Everything we wanted, she made it happen! Even through our crazy busy wedding day, she was running around making sure that everything was perfect!!! We loved the venue on its own but if it wasn’t for Taylor we don’t even know how smooth things would go! Once again Taylor you are amazing and thank you so much for making our wedding day perfect! Also the food was top notch! AMAZING!!!! If we had to do it all over again we would definitely go with the same venue and only work with Taylor!! :))))

Taylor and the Lakeside Gardens team were instrumental in helping our wedding day go perfectly. We worked with several of Lakeside's vendors, greatly simplifying our planning ahead of time, and all of those vendors, plus the Lakeside team themselves, were very communicative and easy to work with, setting clear expectations and offering great suggestions to help everything go off without a hitch. Come rehearsal day, Taylor was great at wrangling our large wedding party (and assorted family along for the ride), and made things nice and easy for us. And on the wedding day itself, it was great knowing that she was working behind the scenes to keep everything running - my bride and I didn't have to worry about anything once the dominos were set up, we were just along for the wonderful ride. I would gladly recommend Lakeside Gardens to any friends or family considering a wedding in the Portland area.

I highly recommend this vendor our wedding was absolutely beautiful. There property is lovely and they are very easy to work with. I was not stressed on our wedding today and everything went smoothly. It was projected to rain so we had to move our ceremony inside but it was easy and still extremely beautiful we had a backdrop of the lake and they set up an arch and we still took our photos outside. Our coordinator Taylor was very prompt with questions and getting back to us and easy to work with. The food was actually very good and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been too. I also highly recommend the in house photography which came out beautifully as well.

We toured this venue and instantly fell in love. It’s gorgeous the food is good and the staff are very helpful. The swans are also a very fun little group of characters. Taylor helped us plan our wedding and coordinated on the big day she was very helpful, and did a great job keeping it all running smooth. It rained super last minute on my wedding day and I was very upset about it, they managed to talk me off a cliff and make some compromises with me so that I could still do all the things I wanted to do on my wedding day. They brought us food to our sweet heart table so that we wouldn’t have to navigate our buffet and be stopped by our guests constantly as well which I thought was a really considerate offer. Every thing they did for us was incredible. I went into thins wedding knowing nothing and they taught me a lot on the fly and handled the rest. Lakeside Gardens is a great option for somewhere to get married!

Lakeside Gardens made everything so easy as far as planning and setting up our timeline. The venue itself is just so gorgeous and it stood out to us not just cause of the garden but the different ceremony styles. Noel and Taylor were both super helpful in checking in with us and making sure we had everything we wanted for out small wedding. This place will now hold so many good memories for us. Would highly recommend!

If you want a gorgeous indoor and outdoor wedding venue that does it all flawlessly, do yourself a favor and choose Lakeside Gardens. Even though it rained, ours turned out to be the most easy, dreamy wedding a couple could ask for. From the very beginning planning stages with our organizer, Taylor, to a beautifully executed function, I truly don't know if there's another venue that would have handled our wedding better than Lakeside Gardens. 

When our original venue closed down in 2020 due to the pandemic, we kept our contracts with some of our original vendors. The only exception was a florist. We hadn’t secured one yet so we used Lakeside Gardens’ florist and she took my succulent and plum dahlia floral vision and made it all come to life while saving us a ton of money.

On the day of our wedding, Taylor and her crew were adaptable with switching our outdoor ceremony to an all indoor ceremony and reception due to the rain. There was even a power outage when the bridal party arrived and, thanks to a generator, none of our guests had a clue the power was out. The DJ played on, the kitchen still cranked out amazing food and the whole service staff was on point.

We never worried or wanted for anything on our big day. Taylor was right there, the whole evening, with us until the end, keeping things rolling and gently reminding us of our timeline. She seemed to be everywhere, all the time.

Our guests were awestruck at how beautiful the venue was and how on top of everything the staff was throughout the night. I have nothing but the highest recommendations for the venue, Taylor and her staff. If you want a professionally executed, stress-free wedding venue that will impress your guests, choose Lakeside Gardens.

We had our daughters birthday party here and it was amazing! Staff great communication great and overall great experience.

Lakeside was wonderful to work with! I cannot recommend them enough. We were assigned Angie as our day of coordinator and she went above and beyond to help make our day perfect. They have amazing food and really take the time to make you happy. Can't recommend them enough!

I could not be more thankful for this Venue and the team that came with it. My husband and I had to reschedule our wedding three times, due to military deployment, and then COVID the second time. They were extremely flexible and understanding of our circumstances and worked with us the past two years trying to make the wedding come together. Their response time was great and Angie was there to answer any qustions or concerns that I had. Due to heavy rainfall we had to move the wedding inside last minute but it turned out beautiful regardless. My wedding guests as well as myself were very happy with the food and the grounds of the venue are beautiful for pictures. Would recommend this venue to anyone wanting to get married at a beautiful gardenlike venue! We were very happy with our experience, Thanks again Lakeside Gardens

All of the vendors we had besides our cake and DJ were in house! Planning our wedding in a time of a global pandemic was tricky, but having this venue offer so many services made it so much more manageable. Taylor was our day of coordinator and throughout the process leading up to our big day has been really attentive and hands on with any questions or concerns we had. I would get married here 1,000x over! Property itself was so magical and organic. It was amazing getting to see the swans throughout the ceremony and it was wonderful to hear how much our guests enjoyed the property as well. We stayed at the honeymoon suite the night of our wedding and I highly recommend it! It was so nice to not have to travel anywhere and the suite was stunning!! It was far enough away from the venue and it was nicely "fenced" off with lovely shrubs. It was so private and intimate and we were able to enjoy our first cup of coffee as husband and wife with a stroll along the lake; we had nearly the whole property to ourselves!

I just had my wedding here last week, and I was so impressed with the level of quality in the services and amenities provided by Lakeside Gardens! Angie, the wedding coordinator, is so knowledgeable and helpful, she made sure that my day went as smoothly as possible, and it did! I recommend this venue to anyone for any event! They truly are excellent in every way.

We were truly blessed to find this venue for our children’s wedding! Angie was most helpful and the surrounding was magical! I recommend this place for anyone wanting a well organized and stress free event!

Our guests loved this little venue with their swans, bridges, gazebos, lakes, and greenery. It's beautiful for pictures and some wandered aimlessly for hours. The food was amazing and we even got a plate saved for us before the guests ate it all! We didn't have a wedding coordinator so having Taylor coordinate everything at Lakeside was a blessing. She was so patient with us as we slowly got the details down for the big day and made sure we had everything we requested. We were hoping for an outdoor wedding but the grass was too wet from rain the night before to even try. She sent us an email about this the night prior to the wedding so we wouldn't be caught off guard the next morning. We didn't have any decorations for an indoor wedding so Taylor quickly decorated the arch for us using fake flowers at Lakeside.

Angie our Event Coordinator was fantastic...very professional, organized and ever present to make sure guests were having a good time. Alura the Chef is very talented and our food was delicious and presentation perfect. Very high quality food. I am in Sales and Marketing for a hotel company in Orlando, Florida and I book events and also organize food and beverage needs with our TEAM and must say we would take all of their employees tomorrow. What a great TEAM they have assembled !!! I am originally from Portland and would like to say I believe this to be the best venue for any event you are planning in the Portland area. Thank you again to the Lakeside TEAM and we hope to see you again in the future.

Neither my husband or I knew what weddings were supposed to be like and what we did know, we opted for non-traditional. So, Angie's (our coordinator's) flexibility and patience with us was really appreciated! I felt like we had a list of questions for her every week as the wedding date got closer and then not only was it pouring during rehearsal, we had only half the amount of allotted time because my bridesmaids were late but she still stuck through with us! If I were to redo my wedding, I would want to come back here.

Taylor was really helpful answering all of our questions, showing us around & she was friendly.

The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous. Catering was done thru them and was the best wedding meal I have ever had. Our guests agreed.

My husband and I just got married there on July 5th! It is such a gorgeous venue with water, surrounding trees, gazebos, and the swans. Everyone thought the venue was just beautiful and the food was spectacular. Angie was our coordinator, she was very helpful and listened to my every need. The only complaint I have was not knowing that it was a cash only bar. Our day couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you Lakeside Gardens!

Lakeside Gardens is the most beautiful place for a wedding. Our wedding day was so seamless and easy we couldn't have asked for a better process. Chris was the best wedding coordinator, we love her!! The food was amazing for our reception. All around a wonderful experience and truly breath taking. I highly recommend the private dinner with the bride and groom, it was so nice to be able to take a breath before greeting guests.

Lakeside Gardens is such a stunning venue. My husband's grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Lakeside Gardens and when I discovered that I knew we had to get married here. They staff was friendly and responsive. On the day of our wedding my husband I were so pleased with everything. The grounds are absolutely stunning and very well maintained. The food was wonderful. It was such a wonderful day and we are so glad that it took place at Lakeside Gardens.

Lakeside Gardens is a gorgeous venue! Their event planners are very professional. My planner was Lauri and she helped to make my son's wedding and reception a memorable and complete success. They recently hired a new chef and many of our guests expressed that the food was excellent. I could not be more pleased with choosing Lakeside Garden.

If you are looking for the pefect place to have your wedding, then go tour Lakeside Gardens in Portland Oregon! My daughter was married there August 1st 2014 . The venue is beautiful. ..(a hidden paradise).The staff was wonderful and very efficient, the onsite chef prepared a very tasteful buffet of food and our wedding planner Chris Cunningham did a excellent job making my daughter's wedding day a success and a beautiful memory!

My whole family was incredibly happy with Lakeside Gardens. It is an absolutely beautiful location: two gazebos, multiple bridges, very green and lovely hanging baskets during the warm months. There is an indoor ceremony location too, in case it rains! Michele was my wedding coordinator and she was incredibly helpful and friendly. The on-site chef did an amazing job: everybody loved the food (and at a pretty reasonable price too!) Michele made some great recommendations on DJ, florist, and chair covers. To brides and grooms planning weddings somewhere they don't live: Lakeside Gardens did a great job of handling everything and making it smooth for me!

Lakeside Gardens is such an AMAZING place to have your wedding ceremony and reception. I am so glad that I was able to book mine with them. I wanted to have my wedding there so badly that I actually booked my wedding day based on a day that they had open and not the other way around. This place is that incredible. There are swans, and ponds and lakes and bridges and waterfalls and fountains and some of the most beautiful scenery around. I absolutely 100% love this place.

I had an evening wedding so the entire grounds were lit up with gorgeous lamp lights and the water fountains in the middle of the lake were lit with multi colored lights and there were little white twinkle lights around the roof of the building and the perimeter of the balcony and bridge. It was breath taking. Some of my guests said it was one of the most romantic places they had ever been too. Couples were able to sneak off during the reception and enjoy a romantic moonlit walk around the grounds. You can definitely feel love when you are at Lakeside Gardens.

First off if you ever have the opportunity please see Lakeside Gardens. This was my fairytale come true. Everything fell into place. Pam Pullioff was our wedding coordinator provided by Lakeside Gardens. She was available for us even when she wasn't available. If we had to do it again, we would do it again there..again and again. And we would always request Pam Pullioff.

Absolutely stunning venue for an outdoor or indoor event! Beautiful landscapes with a very photogenic garden. Spacious indoor reception area with large windows looking out towards the garden.

Kudos to Jenna for being such a great coordinator! Very professional, responses to my calls/emails/texts within the same day, and very accomudation and flexible to my last minute requests. Thank you for making our wedding timeline run in such a timely manner!

The food was great! We have many guests who commented that the food was delicious (and this is coming from very traditional Vietnamese elders who are not familiar with buffet style American food catering). The only downside, and the reason why I gave a 4.5 star in the overall value, is that the venue requires in-house catering only. It costed us $100/entree (on top of the cost of outside catering) to incorporate a few traditional Vietnamese dishes to accomudation guests who could only eat Vietnamese food. Besides this minor detail, reasonable price for the space and the food and drinks.

Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this venue for couples looking for a great place to host their special day!!!

Lakeside Gardens is breath taking. Due to poor weather our wedding had to be moved inside. The view from the ceremony was just beautiful. The best thing about Lakeside is a wedding coordinator is included. We got Caroline who was the best. We had planning meetings beforehand and she made sure every detail was covered. During the entire ceremony and reception she was there making sure everything ran smoothly. Our wedding would have fell apart with out here. Prices are reasonable considering the location and services you get with it.

I love Lakeside Gardens! If I had to do it all over again, I would choose the same place. Having a wedding coordinator there on the day of the wedding took a lot of the work and pressure off of us, so we could enjoy our special day. Everyone said it was one of the most beautiful places they had every been to for a wedding in Portland and the food was great! =) I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants in outdoor wedding in Oregon.

This venue was absolutely stunning. If you are looking for a gorgeous garden venue with tons of romantic vibes, this is the place! They recently did a remodel and it turned out so lovely! Our wedding was absolutely amazing and the photos of this venue turned out so beautiful! Also, the on-site catering was wonderful! All of our guests were amazed at how delicious our wedding food was. Our entire reception was gluten free (minus Coors beer) and all of our celiac guests were totally fine after the amazing feast! Taylor was great as a wedding coordinator and answered my 1001 questions very quickly leading up to our wedding! All in all this venue is great, the food is prime and the experience was wonderful!

My husband and I got married at Lakeside Gardens on 4/28/19. We are from Austin, but we went to Oregon to get married and Lakeside Gardens was one of my top venues to visit while we were there. I loved it! And, I loved it a year later on my wedding. Shoutout to Angie and her staff for providing such a lovely experience throughout the process. Angie talked with us over the phone a few times before the special day and went over the ceremony, reception plans. Lakeside Gardens is very organized, friendly, and a gorgeous place in general. Swans, water, a gazebo, nature. Perfect, we found the perfect wedding venue. Thank you!

Lakeside Gardens was the perfect venue for our June wedding! We were worried that is would rain on our big day but it didn't. Fortunately the venue has a backup plan to move inside just in case! All of our guests loved the venue, from the pond to the large beautiful trees, it's truly romantic. The venue staff are amazing! I found it was easy to work with them by email. This was especially important since I was living in Chicago and planning a wedding in Portland. Jenna was awesome at helping me organize the wedding day. She was very attentive to detail and helped us organize everything up until the last minute! Couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else but here!

Lakeside Gardens was the perfect choice for our wedding. We were married mid May, and were hoping for an outdoor ceremony, but of course Mother Nature brought rain (ranging from a drizzle to a downpour), hail, thunder/lightning...so the fact that they have an indoor ceremony option as a backup was key! However, the grounds are so picturesque & sheltered by gazebos, tall trees, etc that we were still able to take photos outside; the interior of the venue also has a good amount of natural light, so our indoor photos turned out wonderful, as well.

They walked us through the planning, providing tips for vendors/other items we'd need to provide, and were responsive within 1-2 business days (often the same day) whether I had emailed or called them. Our coordinator, Jenna, was so professional and sweet - she made us feel valued and not just like clients. The other staff, Chris & Angie, were extremely helpful as well with questions and setting up our initial tour. And of course, props to the Chef and kitchen staff for the delicious food (both at the complimentary food tasting in March and the day itself!) and the serving staff for keeping our guests plied with food and drink at the reception. Overall, 100% would recommend if you want a beautiful venue, easy planning/coordination, friendly staff, and a day to remember!

Beautiful venue and the prices were all the same for everyday of the week. Times were not as flexible as I would have like and it was impossible to get ready at the venue. Food was delicious, the coordinators were awesome and very responsive! I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married.

Julie was our wedding planner and she did an awesome job of juggling our wishes and needs (always with a calm and kind demeanor I might add). The venue was great, all the employees did a wonderful job of helping the guests feel welcome and comfortable. We were also pleasantly surprised at the quality of food; our guests were full and happy!

I couldn't have picked a more beautiful location for my wedding. Lakeside Gardens was more perfect than I could describe. The surroundings were so beautiful that I hardly had to do any extra decorating and the pictures turned out gorgeous naturally. The value for the cost was so much more then any other venue we looked at. It was so easy! I had a coordinator, all my food was included, and I got to have my ceremony and reception in the same place.
Chris was the best, she went over every detail with me and made planning a so easy. Anytime I had a question she was there for me and if I left her a message she always returned my call promptly. She kept all of us wild people on track on the special day. It couldn't have gone more smoothly and I was the most relaxed I have ever been in my whole life. Chris made me feel so special, I feel like she always remembered who I was. She even gave us a gift at the end of the night!

This amazing site really made our wedding the success it was! Lakeside was the answer to all my questions. They provided quality food, scenery, and have the best group of consultants I've met. I was immediately impressed with the attentive e-mails and phone calls I received from our consultant as we planned our wedding. We had the pleasure of working with two talented ladies (Pam and Chris) and truly couldn't done it without them. They seem to have a high average for food per plate, but let me tell you- it was delicious! Our guests couldn't stop gushing about the wonderful staff, smoothness of the entire wedding, and the fabulous food! If you're looking for a 'one-stop' place with beauty and professionalism, look no further!

My husband and I got married in late September at lakeside gardens and it was a beautiful event. Our coordinator, Noel, was extremely kind and helpful. The gardens are beautiful, and the food and drinks were great! All of our guests said the event was beautiful and they had a good time.

Beautiful setting, delicious food for reception (everyone at wedding raved about it! - just wish they'd offered us the leftovers as we paid for them :), very professional yet friendly. The male swan in lake wasn't very friendly, though. Well, he was protecting his family of 5 baby swans and mom! Only added to the special atmosphere. Highly recommended.!

I loved my Wedding at Lakeside Gardens! You can not fully see how beautiful it is in pictures alone. I would recommend visiting Lakeside Gardens if you are even thinking about this location. As soon as we drove down the drive we were sold. It really is nestled in it's own little world. The trees and lake are beautiful, the grounds are well kept! On the day of our wedding the sun was shinning and it was even better than I imagined. I had a guest tell me that they felt at any minute ferries could fly by it was such a magical day. We got MANY compliments from out of town guests as well as a few from Portland natives who had no idea Lakeside was so magnificent. The In-House Catering worried me at first and you don't taste the food before hand, but let me tell you I was very impressed. The food was delicious and presented so well. Our wedding planner was Chris and she was nothing short of Amazing! All in all I really got that beautiful fairytale wedding I always wanted. I'm already asking my husband if we can renew our vows because it was so fun!

Overall very happy with our choice to use Lakeside Gardens. It boasts a stunning lake, characterized landscape features including gazebos, a bridge, swans and trails carving through the scenery. Lakeside kept a staff of people to help with all of our needs. They maintained good communication with us from the start through emails to ensure we didn't feel lost during the strenuous planning process. Their food was amazing and we received many compliments about our choice of food and the quality. The size of the hall is perfect for most sizes of weddings. Not small to where you feel cramped and not so big that everyone is scattered and sparse. Highly recommend at least checking them out before booking anywhere else.

Loved the venue, loved the food! Just wish we had more time for the money spent.

Overcooked food, poor sound system, poor floral service, slow morose servers, guests were served food before bridal party returned from photos. Guests misdirected against brides instructions.

We chose this venue because it was absolutely beautiful and fit our idea of an outdoor wedding. However, my groom and one of my wedding party experienced severe health issues and we had to postpone the wedding. Lakeside Gardens refused our request to postpone to the next year (the timing was important for the flowers). They stated that they would return our deposit if they booked the date with someone else. However, in reality, they have no incentive to book that date and even if they did, how would we know? So we are out $1000.00 and we will never go back to this venue so they are out the additional $2000 or $3000 we would have spent there. Also, they could not even be bothered to respond to my email requesting that they do whatever they could to re-book our date. I am very disappointed and unhappy with them.
