We had the most incredible wedding at La Valle Coastal Club, and we can’t thank the team enough. Bella and Fernando were a dream to work with. They were professional, flexible, and went above and beyond to make sure the details were executed. The venue itself was stunning, and the wedding flowed smoothly from location to location. We are so grateful for their hard work and would recommend La Valle Coast Club to anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming place to celebrate. Thanks again!

We booked with Bella when it was still Morgan Run. It did change to La Valle last year. We were so incredibly happy with the venue and with Bella. She made the process easy to understand and always kept in communication with me. She was dedicated to making sure everything went smoothly and we were so grateful we picked La Valle. It was the most convenient location as you have the hotel, restaurant and ballroom so close together. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and Bella’s suggestion on vendors was awesome too. We loved the DJ and cake vendors so much. We can’t thank Bella, Cynthia and La Calle enough for everything! They were amazing.

Belladonna was our on-site coordinator for our wedding in October and she was fabulous. She was one of the reasons we decided to go with our venue. She was very laid-back, easy-going and responsible! We had a great celebration and couldn't have pulled it off without her!

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Bella and her amazing support staff at Morgan Run. She helped ensure our special day was seamless. Our guest are still commenting on how beautiful enjoyable and the wedding was. We are beyond happy with our decision to go with Morgan Run.

Morgan Run Club and Resort was our top pick of venues in the area. Not only was it affordable, but it holds a place in my heart since my grandfather was a golfer and had brought me there for a memorable time. Bella, the event sales director, was on point with everything. She truly helped the day go as smoothly as possible. The staff were extraordinary and focused on helping us have the best day of our lives. Their provided meals were so fresh and flavorful, and the cake from Eccentric International Chefs was the perfect end to a perfect dinner. With many different packages to choose from, Morgan Run Club and Resort is perfect for any budget.

What a great venue. We had our daughters wedding at Morgan Run. Belladonna is the Private Events Director at the club. From the pre planning to the wedding, every small detail was worked out and the wedding could not have been any better. The food was amazing and the food and beverage staff did an excellent job making sure that our guests did not have to wait for a drink, or wait on food.
We used some of the recommendations from Belladonna for the cake, DJ and photographer and were very impressed with all of them. Our DJ kept the party going until the bride and groom sendoff. The wedding pictures turned out phenomenal especially the photos with the golf course in the background.
Most of the people came from out of town so it was very convenient that Morgan Run Club and Resort has hotel rooms that our guests could stay at for the wedding. We did a block of rooms and they gave us a great rate and were easy to work with.

We had an amazing experience with Morgan Run. Our wedding was a DREAM! Kennedy and Anne were such a great team to work with. They answered all of our (many) questions and were so nice throughout the entire process. We would HIGHLY recommend them.

Morgan Run and Kennedy and her team were wonderful to work with for our wedding. From start to finish they were so helpful and willing to work with us. The ceremony site on the golf course is beautiful and the reception and cocktail hour space is close and spacious. We had 130 guests and everything was perfect. It was reasonable in price for the Rancho Santa Fe area and the plated dinner and all the food was quite tasty as well! We would recommend it for any wedding!

We are so happy we found this venue. Not only was the service amazing but they were reasonably priced and worked with us to make sure our wedding was great. Thank you Morgan Run for making the wedding of my dreams come true.

The location is beautiful. I had so many compliments about the beauty of the venue. They have a private patio with a fire pit for your guests, conveniently next to the bar. The inside has plenty of floor space to dance, they also have a side room that I found nice if you need to sneak away. The employees are very kind and attentive to all the guests. Food was delicious. They also have areas on the grounds that are breathtaking, perfect for pictures. Kennedy, the venue coordinator, was amazing. She really made sure that everything was right and made any adjustments right up to the final day. I truly believe you need to see the venue in person to appreciate all its beauty.

The main reason we chose Morgan Run was because of Kennedy!!! Other reasons were for the gorgeous views and landscape for photos and for the event space... the ceremony leads right to the terrace for cocktail hour which connects to the room for the reception. It was perfect! From the first time we came to meet with Kennedy to discuss ideas, to booking our date, to having follow up meetings, and to having lots and lots of e-mail communication-- Kennedy was always so gracious to help and respond!! Everything was set up (and cleaned up!) for us AND the timing was all planned out way in advance so coordinating with our vendors was a breeze. The staff at Morgan Run was amazing and always looking for ways to help us. The food was delicious (and they specialized things just for us!). We didn't want the day to end!!

Morgan run club and resort was an amazing place to have my wedding. Kecia did a great job ensuring everything went perfectly and exactly how I wanted it.
All my guests stayed at the resort and loved it. The kids all loved the pool and a lot of the guests went golfing the day before and day of the wedding. A lot of guests turned it into a week long vacation! I would definitely recommend to everyone getting married.

Anna Williams and the staff at the Morgan Run were absolutely amazing!!!! We do not live in California, but we knew that we wanted to get married in San Diego. After visiting several venues, we decided on the Morgan Run after our first meeting with Anna. I was very specific in what I wanted, and Anna made our dream come true. I truly walked away after our wedding day with the biggest smile on my face knowing that all of our guests had a wonderful time and nothing went wrong (thanks to Anna). Every little concern or hiccup that came up was taken care of immediately and I honestly did not worry about ANYTHING. The staff was incredible in making all of our guests feel welcome. It was amazing. I would reccommend this venue to anyone!

Morgan Run and Anna were absolutely wonderful, I would highly recommend getting married at this venue! My new husband and I were so glad that we chose Morgan Run for our wedding. Anna, who was our onsite coordinator, was excellent. She helped organize the schedules, contact the vendors, and to make sure everything ran smoothly on the big day. When we first met with Anna, she said one of the goals of the wedding was for the bride and groom to have a relaxing day, and she sure succeeded! We did not have to worry about a thing; we just had to get ready and smile all day for the pictures!
I would also recommend going with the preferred vendors, which made everything easier. We chose the DJ, cake, and decors from the preferred vendor list. I compared the prices of the preferred vendors and non-preferred vendors (I just checked on Yelp), and the prices were similar. The vendors we talked to were all really nice and helpful. Once we picked the vendors and narrowed down the details, Anna did all the coordination and took care of everything.
Morgan Run was also very flexible. Since we decided to get ready at Morgan Run, the venue allowed us to check in our room early (at 9:30am!) so we did not have to rush. It provided us golf carts so we can go out and take pictures. On our wedding day, we also had a banquet manager that took care of us and the bridal party, so we had plenty food and drinks!
One of my bridesmaids, who got married a year ago, said Anna was so good at her job (my friend also hired a wedding coordinator, but my friend was not satisfied with her coordinator). Friends and families complimented on the beautiful ceremony site and the elegantly decorated reception hall. Everyone had a great time!
Overall, we just loved Morgan Run and Anna, and would highly recommend this venue. The location was beautiful, and the packages were competitive as well!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! ANNA AND MORGAN RUN HELPED GIVE MY HUSBAND AND ME THE WEDDING OF OUR DREAMS. OUR WEDDING WAS 1/29/16 AND IT WAS A DREAM MORE THAN ANYTHING WE COULD OF ASKED FOR. ANNA WILLIAMS WAS OUR COORDINATOR AND SHE WAS A GOD SENT!! SHE MADE WEDDING PLANNING A BREEZE. SHE RETURNED CALLS/EMAILS ASAP. ANSWERED EVERY QUESTION / CONCERN THAT WE HAD. WE HAD OUR CEREMONY ON THE LAWN BY THE " LOVE " TREE , AND THE SETTING WAS BEAUTIFUL, AS THE CEREMONY WAS ENDING, BY CHANCE, IN THE BACKGROUND HOT AIR BALLONS SHOWED UP AS IF IT WAS PART OF THE WEDDING, SO MAGICAL. THE GREENS ITS SELF WAS SO PRETTY WE LOVED IT. WE HAD OUR RECEPTION SPLIT PART IN THE THE BALLROOM AND OUT ON THE PATIO. ALL OF OUR GUEST RAVED AT HOW WONDERFUL OUR WEDDING WAS. THE BEST WEDDING THEY HAD EVER BEEN TO. ANNA STAYED DURING THE WEDDING TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY, HANDLING EVERY DETAIL ( AND EVEN SOME UNINVITED GUEST) . SHE EVEN TOOK ALL OF GIFTS AND MONEY BOX FROM OUR GIFT TABLE AND BROUGHT IT TO OUR ROOM TO MAKE SURE OF PRESENTS WERE SAFE. SHE IS AMAZING !! I CANT EXPRESS THAT ANY MORE... WE LOVED HER. We had an amazing location! It was beautiful and everything turned out great! The groom and I were more than happy that we had selected Morgan Run. We found them through the Bridal Bazaar. We had a bunch of people compliment how beautiful it turned out. The communication was decent throughout the time we booked the venue until the big day. There were a few times I was not getting a response back and going a little crazy, but I think this is how all brides feel at some point! :) Thank you so much for the beautiful day! We loved it!

Where do I even begin. AMAZING! I just had my wedding there this past Sunday 9/20/15, and everything was PERFECT and went without a single glitch! I couldn't be any happier with the venue of these girls, simply AMAZING! All of the staff was so wonderful, everyone had such a positive attitude and was willing to help us with anything and everything. I have been working with Ania and Anna over the past few months while planning my wedding, and they just went above and beyond. They helped me with so much they didn't even have to do, just to be kind. I also had my rehearsal dinner there as well, equally amazing. I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Morgan Run, Ania and Anna. They made my wedding what it was and it wouldn't have been as spectacular and flawless without them. My family has decided when my brother finally ties the knot we MUST have his there as well, we would be disappointed anywhere else now that we have experienced this. You will not be let down.

If you want the wedding of your dreams Morgan Run will execeed it! Our event coordinator Anna Williams was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. She created a BEO, or our wedding bible, if you're OCD and like things completely organized she is your lady. If you're not the most organized she's still your lady, as she will lay every detail out on a timeline. Even with last minute changes while the wedding was going on Anna remained poised and would adjust things effortlessly. The whole team at Morgan Run was beyond helpful, polite and professional during the last eight months. They are very prompt to respond and treat you like you are the queen, after all you are you only get this day once. People told me to expect something to go wrong and know it will be OK, that id be the only one to notice...Our wedding played out to perfection without a single mistake. Anna was in contact with all our vendors through the entire process. The day of, it was so awesome to know everything was going well and she would even come check in to make sure we were happy. We were escorted with our photographer and videographer on the golf course to all the best photo spots and even our vendors were raiving they loved this man. I let them know the entire staff was this awesome. It is honestly the perfect venue. I would highly recommend this venue and our event coordinator Anna Williams to any couple wanting a beautiful and stress free wedding.

I can HIGHLY recommend Morgan Run for a wedding weekend. We were so thrilled to have our rehearsal dinner, reception, and brunch, the following morning, all at Morgan Run. We were extremely pleased with the level of service we received, the attentiveness of the staff, and the location of the resort. Ania Krokos, the director of event planning, was the most professional, helpful, and delightful person to work with during our event. She is so great at what she does and makes you feel like you are the only wedding they’re doing that you feel like you’re in the best of hands. Which I might add, is true, that you will be the only wedding on that day. All the service is directed at you and your guests and it makes it so easy to enjoy the day knowing you’re in such good hands. We heard many comments from our guests that this was the best wedding they’ve ever attended and that was all due to the resort. They made it so perfect and beautiful for us and the fact that they have a hotel made it even better for the guests. Everyone could stay right on site and just enjoy the evening. Each event was just as great as the last and each had their own special touch. We used the pool area for the rehearsal dinner and since we had a lot of children attending they enjoyed using the pool while we all ate, drank, and socialized. They decorated the area so perfectly for us. The reception was just amazing and each and every detail was seen to and handled by the Morgan Run staff with oversight from Ania. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, down to providing drinks and apps for our pictures on the golf cart to ensuring we had everything we needed before, during, and after. They took all our gifts and top of the cake to our suite at the end of the evening and had champagne and strawberries out for us to enjoy. The brunch was just the topper to a perfect weekend. We spent the entire morning and afternoon on the patio enjoying our guests and eating the delicious food.

My husband and I worked with Ania Krokos for our June 14, 2014 wedding reception at Morgan Run. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Morgan Run and Ania! The venue is beautiful and the entire night was executed perfectly. Everything was set up exactly how I wanted it and the night flowed seamlessly. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel really special. The food was wonderful, as well.

Ania is pleasant to work with and very sharp. She knows exactly what she is doing and she enjoys it. Ania is easy to get ahold of, which is very important! I also worked with Molly Gort, who is just as awesome!

Everything about working with Morgan Run was great, even early on from the preferred vendor open house to the food tasting with my parents. Ania was able to incorporate cake tasting into the food tasting and we were able to accomplish both at once (and the cake was amazing). Ania made sure that we had a good mix of appetizers and she even honored my husband’s wish to have a special plate of French fries with his wedding dinner!

Some nice touches on the day of: Ania made sure my husband and I had water and appetizers on the golf cart on our way to go take pictures on the golf course, plus she ensured we had starter beverages while decompressing in the waiting room before the big entrance.

More delight: Morgan Run’s hotel rooms were convenient and nicely priced for our guests. Our honeymoon suite was amazing with chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne…AND they even put Martinelli’s in the room for my husband who doesn’t drink. Very thoughtful! Ania also helped organize a really nice private brunch on the patio the next morning with all of the guests who spent the night at the hotel.

I had my perfect dream wedding at Morgan Run!

My husband and I got married at Morgan Run on August 17, 2013. We worked with Ania, who was FABULOUS. She has great experience in event planning, which highly impressed us. Morgan Run was very flexible in helping us make our day exactly as we wanted - from customizing the menu, to helping us create a sparkler exit. Part of the reason we chose the location was for the overnight accomodations for our guests, which were reasonably priced and very nice. The ceremony location was gorgeous. I love the palm trees in the background of our photos. Another favorite of mine is the outside patio with the string lights and fire pit. The bride and bridesmaids were given a large room to get ready in, and the groomsmen and groom were given another large room. The wedding package was such a great deal, and i highly recommend you contact Ania to start planning your special day! We were so impressed with Morgan Run, and if we were to plan the whole thing over again, I would absolutely book with Morgan Run again. Ania, please feel free to use me as a reference, I would love to give a glowing recommendation for you and the venue!

My husband and I finally tied the knot on feb 9 2014 at morgan run!! We originally had our date set for sept 14 2014 but we had an unexpected surprise when we found out we were expecting our second child, knowing that we had put our deposit down months before for sept I was so worried they would not be able to change out date in such short notice. To my surpirse Ania (wedding coordinator at morgan run) was very willing to work with me and she able to find a date that happened to be our anniversary date which was perfect!. Ania was truly amazing throughout the whole process. She was so helpful with getting all the little details just right and really understood my vision. Ania understands how important even the smallest details are and went above and beyond for us. The whole staff is so friendly and easy to work with, they made the day go so smooth I didnt have to worry about a thing it was amazing all I had to do was relax and enjoy my day. I would 100% recommed this venue to anyone who wants amazing views, and a great coordinator to help make your day exactly the way you want it! Thank you to all who made our day perfect we will never forget it.

We worked with Tyler Hasenclever until he moved. The transition to Jeff Hornick was seamless. We met Tyler at a bridal event and went to their bridal open house a few weeks later. It's one thing to remember a girl in a wheelchair. It's something else to remember her name after meeting perhaps thousands of people at bridal shows. We had some unusual ideas for our wedding and Morgan Run always found a way to make it work. Our wedding at Morgan Run was absolutely perfect and the staff couldn't have been more kind and accommodating. Once we pay all our wedding related bills, we're becoming members.

The Event Coordinator Jeff was on top of everything and very helpful with arranging for items to be delivered to the site. Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a professional, and beautifully maintained venue.

We just got married at Morgan Run a few weekends ago and can't speak highly enough of this venue. Jeff Hornick, who acts as wedding coordinator, was incredibly helpful from day one. He responded well to all of our questions and concerns. We decided to have a Friday night party for all of the out of town guests, and Jeff also helped organize that event.

Everything is so convenient for a wedding...we got married on the lawn, which then leads directly to the back patio for cocktails, and then the doors opened up to the reception. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the food was amazing (I can't stress this enough! So many of our friends and family were blown away by the food), and Jeff was right there the entire event making sure everything ran smoothly.

We had 108 people at our wedding...I think you could do up to 120 very comfortably here but it's not really big enough for a 200 person wedding.

They gave us some golf carts to go shooting our pictures afterwards...the setting is fabulous for photos. They made sure we had some champagne and brought over appetizers for us as well for the photos.

Not sure what else to say...but we absolutely LOVED our experience here.

If there was any precaution it would be about the rooms...we had quite an extensive amount of people staying at the resort (there are 69 rooms) and many of the rooms weren't ready by 4pm...I think they were having a washing machine issue. Other than that though, it was a great spot for family and friends to be for the weekend. The food was delicious but affordable, the pool is great for kids, and once their renovation is done...the seating area will be phenomenal for hang outs. They do have a two night minimum with the special rates they give with the wedding...but I liked that because it forced everyone to spend some quality time together!

It was a wonderful place to have a wedding, great weather and privacy for everyone in attendance. Plenty of room for entertainment. The staff was so accommodating and suggested ideas when we were unsure on some of the activities and timelines of the night.

Overall I would highly recommend Morgan Run for anyone's wedding or special event. Tyler the event director is very attentive and genuinely cares about making your day perfect. He answers emails very quickly and had multiple meetings with me to figure out the layout of our wedding.

The restaurant is also amazing, and we had them cater our wedding. We still receive compliments on the menu/food.

I also love how flexible Morgan Run is about bringing in your own vendors. They do not try to push their 'preferred list of vendors' on you, but they are still helpful with recommendations.

The venue itself is pristine and well maintained. Our pictures turned out great! There are numerous places to take pictures...golf course, lake, flowers, fountain...

Our friends and family also appreciated that there is a hotel on site. No one had to figure out a ride at the end of the night.

My husband and I worked with Tyler Hasenclever to plan our April 2012 wedding. Tyler was VERY professional and pleasant to work with. My husband and I had sooo many questions being that this was both of our first weddings and Tyler was patient with us every step of the way! Tyler has an amazing eye when it comes to events. The service throughout our entire experience was amazing, from the front desk staff who greated us upon our first venue visit, to the chef at our dinner tasting, all the way to the wait staff who assisted us with the clean-up process following our reception. I would recommend Morgan Run Club & Resort to anyone who is looking for that one-of-a-kind, special wedding! It was the happiest day of my life!

I would highly recommend Morgan Run as a wedding reception venue. The service was excellent. Tyler went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that all went as planned. He met with us to taste the menu, organized the rehearsal, and even helped to design and set up a tent for us. Jeff also was also awesome, from helping to decide on linens to coordinating with other vendors. The food was perfect from the salad to the salmon to the creme brulee for dessert. Chef John met all of our requests and our guests really enjoyed the tray passed appetizers and cheese displays. Everyone at Morgan Run did a fantastic job. Pat and Pam at reception were so kind to our guests (especially my aunts from out of town). Dan and Luis helped us to keep everything within our budget. Sergio, Manny, Mitch, Halston, Ben~ and all of the servers helped to make it a fun and memorable night. I can't thank them enough!

I loved working with morgan run. They werer always responsive to every request we had. The venue has great views and are extremely flexible and accomodating. I would highly recommend.

We always said we'd never get married at a golf course, but now we wouldn't have gone anywhere else! The folks at Morgan Run are a delight, and Anna Williams was the best planner you could ask for. We have been sending folks their way ever since and will continue to do so. We had our wedding at Morgan Run this June, and it was PHENOMENAL. The day was perfect, the golf course backdrop was amazing, and the food and service was beyond our expectations.

Having both the wedding and reception at the same location was so convenient. Ania Krokos, the event coordinator, made finding vendors a breeze as she organized for me to meet with Morgan Run "preferred vendors" for the DJ, flowers and Cake so that I wouldn't have to run around doing that while working and going to school. While the vendors were a little more expensive, it was worth every penny knowing that I could trust them to come through and that the quality was incredible.

Morgan Run was unlike most other wedding venues in that they are very flexible about food and guest count.

The night before the wedding, we had a "Meet and Greet" at Morgan Run outside on their patio to have hors d'oeuvres and drinks. They lit the fire pit, put out chairs, tables and linens, as well as provided non alcoholic beverages. Our out of town guests really enjoyed being able to socialize, and it was a beautiful touch.

Morgan Run allowed me (the bride) and the bridesmaids to get ready in their spa, and they closed it off entirely for us, serving breakfast, coffee, tea and champagne while were had our hair and makeup done. I felt like royalty.

The wedding itself was a day wedding, and remarkably, thanks to the Morgan Run staff, we started on time, and were really able to make the most of the day. The reception room was beautifully laid out, and with so many looks and linens to choose from, I really appreciated Ania's input.

The only criticisms I have are that the week before the wedding, I was a little unclear about the exact timeline and order of operations for the day of, but by the end of the rehearsal, we had it worked out. And, it seemed that the event staff and the hotel staff weren't always on the same page about the rooms.

Overall, it was a perfect wedding.

Our small Russian wedding was on April, 12. It was an unforgettable, incredible and amazing day. Morgan Run was the club, which we fell in love with at first sight. Very friendly and comfortable place for such occasion.
Ania Krokos was our wedding coordinator. Hands down she is the most professional coordinator we have met with. We changed our mind several times and Ania came up with a new plan immediately. There was a feeling that she is our close friend and understands our desires. For the day of our wedding everything was ready and we were really happy, that she made our day absolutely perfect. She kept in frame of our budget and abided all my request. Ania approached our cultural even with great understanding and excitement, this made us very comfortable. She offered different vendors, but also was open to work with my contacts.

Our wedding day was perfect. Jeff and all of the staff made us feel like a king and queen. Everything from the first meeting, dinner and wine tasting, rehearsal and wedding day were very smooth. The food at our wedding was amazing!!! Our guests raved about the food, saying it was the best dinner they had ever eaten at a wedding. What we really loved about Morgan Run was their willingness to individualize our wedding. We made lanterns to be hung from the ceiling above the dance floor and they were more than willing to do this for us.

After our ceremony outside we were greeted with a golf cart and champagne to escort us to the golf corse for pictures. Also, after our wedding was over we went to our complimentary suite and chocolate covered strawberries and champagne was waiting for us. To us, the little things stuck out even more than what we had originally expected.

We are so happy that we chose Morgan Run for our wedding venue!!!

The only negative was that the construction that was suppose to be finished before our wedding was not completed, which we know the wedding coordinators had no control over.

This a great place for a wedding. The facilities and setting are nice and the food was really good.

Morgan Run is a beautiful location for a ceremony and reception. The grounds are beautiful. Rolling greens with Palm trees everywhere. Hot air balloons in the background during our sun down ceremony was perfect timed was priceless (literally:)

The staff couldn't have been more helpful and flexible. They also facilitate well with outside vendors. The photo booth we used loved the property and commented,the staff was very easy to work with.

The food at the reception was delicious. Everyone commented on how great everything tasted. We did food stations rather then a traditional plated dinner which works out fabulous. People are able to mingle and interact rather then a traditional sit down dinner. We received a lot of positive feed back on how dinner was served. Everyone loved the food station idea.

Morgan Run was a perfect choice!

Morgan Run was amazing! They made my wedding day run so smoothly and I did not have to worry about a thing! The food was great and the venue itself was beautiful. They were very accomidating to what we wanted. I worked with Jeff, the wedding coordinator, and he was fantastic! Although, at times it would take him quite some time to get back to me. I think it's because he just knows what he is doing when it comes to weddings and I was freaking out! But everyone there was amazing! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a venue! They also have a great deal if you are having a wedding with 100 people. $7500 all inclusive package with a sit down dinner! Its awesome! Check them out!

Morgan Run did a fantastic job of hosting my wedding. My guests thought everything was perfect. We served salmon, salads, beef, ravioli, parmesan mashed potatoes, bread, veggies, coffee - everything was delicious. We closed the bar during dinner, but it worked out fine because Morgan Run provides a bottle of red and white wine at each table. For the cocktail hour, a spread of crudités was included, which was fresh and delicious. The bartender was fabulous as were the servers. The set up was perfect - we had stations well spaced for the dinner, for the cocktail hour belly bars w/candles, a table for the crudités, and a bar. We also had chargers at each dinner table and guests were notified to go to the stations when their charger plates were picked up by a server. They also set up a table for us with the guest book & Mexican candy that my sister brought in, they set up linens and the chairs with a gold tie in the reception room, tuxedo napkin folded napkins, the wedding cake was raised, and the ceremony had the wooden arch. The overall appearance was fantastic. Although the coordinator, Jeff, was sometimes tough to get in touch with (I imagine they were slammed because my wedding was during peak season), when we talked he was always professional and responsive. Pat at the front desk was also great. She promptly sent me my room lists for review and distributed my guest bags to everyone that stayed at the resort. My guests loved having access to the pool, the spa, and the golf course. Although the food at the wedding was fantastic, breakfast at the restaurant was not that great (my coffee was terrible and cold), they do not offer room service on the weekends, and they offer Ethernet rather than wireless. However, I heard the brunch was top notch (admittedly, when I go home I always opt for a breakfast burrito), and it was great having a bar at the hotel because as soon as my wedding was over my guests continued the party at the bar (which also sells cigars). The location is also gorgeous, and perfect for pictures. They were also flexible - during pictures we wanted a golf cart and Jeff immediately made that happen as soon as my bridesmaid notified him. The bridal suite was FANTASTIC - it was the perfect size and accommodated my bridesmaids and the moms for prep the day off the wedding very well. Some downfalls were that they were unable to locate my wedding veil the day after the wedding, they forgot the signs at the food stations, and they initially set up the iron arch rather than the wooden arch, but those things were remedied (except for the veil ;-( they also found my fiancé’s glasses and immediately mailed them to us. I loved the convenience of having my guests stay at the same place as the ceremony and reception. Overall, I highly recommend Morgan Run as a wedding venue.

Well I didn’t hate, but I also didn’t love it….

Here are something’s I think need to be worked on:
1. Communication… it was like pulling teeth to get a hold of my coordinator. Not to mention I was passed to 3 different coordinators during the course of planning (and was never told until I asked). It would be 2-3 weeks before I would get any response to my questions on email. Even then, it felt like my final coordinator didn’t bother with the details of the wedding until the literal day before the wedding which is not professional by any means considering how busy the bride and groom usually are by that time.
2. they neglected to tell me they redid the entire ballroom after I had signed on with the venue. It only came up in conversation once I started talking about the ballroom.
3. My husband and I would have LOVED to finish our expensive plates of food before they were taken from our table with only a couple bites taken out of it. Maybe offer the bride and groom to box it to go would have been considerate? We attempted to order those plates up to our room then next day expecting fully to pay for them and everything. They simply ignored the requested, and never gave us a call back… I guess you only matter until the wedding day ends…
Overall, the experience was a bit of a headache with Morgan Run… I’m not truly sure if I would recommend if they don’t make the necessary changes to remedy these issues. I wouldn’t wish that kind of unnecessary stress on any couple…

My husband and I had our wedding here in October of 2015. At the beginning, everything was perfect, but the two to three months leading up to our wedding we were not receiving responses from our wedding coordinator, which left endless items for me to complete the four days leading up to our wedding - finalizing the photo booth that we had booked 3 months prior, finalizing the Officiant which we had booked 3 months prior, etc. One of the managers showed the bill to me, and some of my guests, during our rehearsal dinner. We had to clean up the night of the event, and were told to do so at 11:00PM. The wedding coordinator would tell me she would get back to me within a few hours, and after emails, calls and texts, I would average a response time of 1.5 - 2 weeks later. She had a hard time keeping her word. Very unprofessional upper management staff. Grounds are beautiful. Rooms smell old, stuffy and like smoke.

It makes me very sad to write this review. Our wedding was overall wonderful and by far the best day of our lives, but the experience with Morgan Run and the hassle after the wedding put a huge damper on the experience. Part of our decision to have Morgan Run as our venue was the cost and the flexibility that was sold to us when we first met at the venue. Although we were told “no” many times, and many things were “extra” we were still feeling pretty good about our decision up to the day. The venue is beautiful. The ceremony was set up wonderfully, Anna (our coordinator) kept the day running, was friendly and always there to try to help or get us an answer (even if it was often "no"), the food was amazing and day was beautiful and unforgettable. There were many things lacking the day of and while you are marrying your best friend, you let them slide in the moment, but when the venue charges the WRONG credit card and OVERCHARGES you by $2500, it's a little hard to let the “little” things slide. We had to walk around the course for pictures (instead of take the golf cart we were promised), neither myself nor my husband had ANY hor d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour (we were told we would have a personal waiter). Our bar package included a specific alcohol and wine. We found out after the wedding the alcohol was denied to guests telling them it was for the bridal party only and they never even had the wine. Our coordinator left half way through the reception telling us everything went great. After the wedding, the bar stayed open as a cash bar (per our contract), and guests started to grumble jokingly. The bartender kept the bar open (not per signed contract) without discussing with me- they said they couldn’t find me (I was hard to miss- the girl in the big white dress). They charged the wrong card and falsified charges that led to a $2500 discrepancy. The venue was closed to discussion and didn't want my feedback, which has led to my review here.
