Destination Wedding

There is simply no one better than Gina when it comes to wedding planning. I got married in Bermuda in 2023, and choosing Gina as my planner was a no-brainer. She is detail-oriented, efficient, loyal, and FUN. I felt like I was planning my wedding with a dear friend.
Planning a wedding in a different country comes with a myriad of obstacles, but Gina made the process easy as anything. She thinks of every single detail that will make your day one-of-a-kind. From the travel arrangements, to the welcome gifts, to the detailed day-of itinerary - nothing goes unnoticed. She made my destination wedding dreams come true. It was my favorite weekend ever, and I’m forever grateful to her for creating pure magic!!

Gina and her crew did a marvelous job for us and our daughter to provide a beautiful, well planned and meticulously carried out wedding!! Gina was a delight to work with and handled all situations professionally and with a great attitude that made the whole experience one we will long remember! Working with Gina Myers and La Cosa Bella Events was nothing short of a dream come true, and it was probably the best decision we made in our wedding

I have tried to write this review so many times and continuously come up short because I just cannot find the words to properly do it justice. Working with Gina Myers and La Cosa Bella Events was nothing short of a dream come true, and it was probably the best decision we made in our wedding planning process.

We got married in North Carolina, but we live out of state. We absolutely would not have been able to find all of our incredible vendors, take care of every last minute detail, and understand the intricacies of the local wedding business without Gina to guide us. Gina is so connected in the wedding business, and she hand selected every one of our vendors. When I think back to my wedding day, one of the first things that comes to mind is what an absolutely mind-blowing vendor team we had. Every detail of our wedding went perfectly, and this was no doubt due to each and every vendor that Gina connected us with. All of our vendors also commented extensively about how much they love Gina and love doing weddings with her. It was very clear to us that Gina has spent time cultivating great relationships in the wedding industry, and these relationships pay off in huge ways for her clients.

Gina also has such an incredible ability to understand her clients’ vision and execute it flawlessly. Every time I talked to Gina about something I wanted for the wedding, I felt 100% at ease knowing that she fully understood what I was looking for. When I wasn’t sure of something I wanted, Gina had recommendations and suggestions lined up for me to choose from. As an example, I continuously think back to the fact that Gina hand selected all of our wedding table linens. We hadn’t even had a chance to discuss what I wanted (not that I even knew what I wanted to begin with), and we couldn’t be there in person since we lived out of state. Gina went to the appointment for us and selected everything herself. When she showed us what she picked, I was blown away. It was like she understood my vision better than I even did. We ultimately went with every single item Gina selected and didn’t change a thing.

One of the things we appreciated most about Gina was her ability to find creative solutions to stay within our budget. We had very specific tastes and requests for what we wanted at our wedding, and we also had a pretty strict budget. However, we never felt like we had to compromise on anything we wanted because Gina always found a way to make it happen and stick within our budget. I never questioned whether it was “worth it” to hire a Wedding Planner, but for this reason alone, I am certain that it was.

I also cannot finish this review without talking about Gina’s relationships with her clients. It sounds so inadequate to refer to Gina as my “Wedding Planner” because she is so much more than that. She is someone I came to view as a second-mom throughout the process, and I know she will be in our lives forever. My husband and I are both younger and live far away from most of our family and friends, so I really leaned on Gina throughout the process. Gina went above and beyond to get to know us on a personal level, check in with us when she knew we were stressed, and learn about our lives and our relationship. My parents commented extensively to me about how thankful they were that we had Gina to take care of us. My dad even personally thanked her in his wedding toast because he was just so blown away by her exquisite planning skills and the obvious way that she cared so deeply about us.

My wedding was a complete fairy tale, and I couldn’t be more thankful. And while there are so many people that made it so perfect, Gina is absolutely at the top of the list.

Amazing Style! Outanding Organization! Goes Above & Beyond!

Gina Myers and the staff at La Cosa Bella Events are amazing and will help you create the day that you have always dreamed of! We booked La Cosa Bella events for a full planning package and not only does Gina have classy style and an eye for details but she is such a caring person. We did not make this easy for her and she did not skip a beat. We started about a year prior to our wedding date and throughout the year my mother fell at a wedding show at our venue which ended up in the ER, my father collapsed and left by ambulance at our rehearsal dinner. Gina’s care and concer was heartfelt and greatly appreciated. Due to unforeseen circumstances the vendor I hired for hair and makeup informed Gina the night before the wedding she was not going to be able to make it for the wedding! Gina was on it and a full staff was there in the morning that made my bridesmaids and I look and feel so beautiful and we had a BLAST! I had no idea until I showed up and Gina was so comfortable and confident in her backup plan it was easy to remain calm. She is a rock star! Our wedding day was GORGEOUS. She and the outstanding vendor team she put together made my dreams come true! Even after the wedding when she had fulfilled her commitment to us she helped out with some loose ends. Not many people would go above and beyond the way she did. So grateful for Gina and the staff

Better than the best!

We booked Gina for event design and day of planning, and she was absolutely phenomenal! I over analyze everything, and she patiently worked with me as we carefully selected each and every detail. The end result was more specular than anything I could have imagined! My husband repeatedly praised Gina’s hard work and stated that she makes each couple feel like we are her only her only customer. Gina made our wedding day a breeze, and we got to spend time having fun with the wedding party rather than running around and setting things up. My only wish is that we had booked her earlier in the process so that we could have had her for full service planning!

La Cosa Bella is a MUST HAVE in planning your wedding!

We met Gina from La Cosa Bella Events about 10 months out from our wedding. We had picked a venue and received her name as a preferred vendor. I had done my research and knew that I wanted someone who would pay attention to all the details that showcase who my husband was, who I was and who we are together. Seeing Gina's Instagram I knew we had to meet. Gina was so quick to reply! We met her at a Starbucks and went over all the details of our wedding. We instantly clicked. So much so that I encouraged the contract be signed immediately!

Gina is truly amazing at what she does. She has years of experience planning all sorts of get-togethers. Whether you are looking for someone to plan a birthday party, anniversary celebration or wedding, Gina is the go to person! She helped us pull together a classy yet country affair. We had 250 guests at our wedding with everything from a horse and carriage, popcorn, candles galore, sparkler exit and Fireworks! She truly knows how to throw a good time, leave a lasting impression and let the bride and groom go out with a BANG!

I highly encourage you to choose Gina and her team. You not only get a wedding planner but a family friend. She will respond whatever hour to whatever request. She will dream up ideas and build comprise within a budget. She is your one stop shop for wedding planning! We could NOT have done it without her!

Gina is the only planner you need to consider!

Gina is a godsend.
Our ceremony and reception were at my parents' home and Gina was absolutely incredible. The level of difficulty with planning a wedding in an unestablished venue is crazy! We had to have their backyard leveled, a stage built over the pool for the reception, and a million other things that, left to our own devices, would have totally failed. When I say my wedding day was perfect, I mean it was PERFECT. Every single vendor was top notch. I'd wake up some mornings with emails from Gina at 4am because she's a wedding planning machine who cares deeply for her clients (Gina if you're reading this, perhaps get some melatonin and give yourself some well-deserved rest!). When you give this woman a vision, she will not stop and will not compromise. Every detail is perfect. Personally, I don't think much about little details, so the concept of planning a wedding sounded miserable to me...and it would have been had we not had Gina. Her day-of team was amazing. To this day I do not know if anything went wrong. Things never go 100% according to plan, but Gina handles it so that you can have your perfect, stress-free day of celebration. Even more important than the bride getting to relax, my mom said the day was perfect and completely seamless. Parents of the bride deserve to be able to take the day in and enjoy every second without stressing--that to me is the most important and invaluable part of who Gina is and what she gives. I can't speak highly enough of her. It was the best day of my life and she made dreams come true I didn't even know I had. She has years of experience which sets her apart, so she knows what's possible and how to get it. You're dumb if you hire another wedding planner. If you've read this review and you still hire someone else, you're REALLY dumb. I love you Gina forever xoxo

Gina + La Cosa Bella made our dreams come true!

Gina was amazing. I don't really know where to even begin to express what an incredible job she did bringing our dreams to life. We had some abstract ideas when we started working with Gina - we knew we wanted our wedding to be colorful, fun, and still feel romantic. She took that and made it happen. She connected us to the most amazing vendors, and helped them understand what our vision was to make sure everything came together cohesively on our day. Gina is a task master, excellent communicator, and has an incredible eye for design. She's also great with parents! This was really important to me, and both our mothers just adored her and her team.

I cannot express what an amazing experience Chris, myself, and our families were able to have on our wedding day, and I absolutely attribute that to Gina. The only emotion we felt all day was JOY for the marriage we were about to enter into. There was no stress. Maybe things went wrong behind the scenes, but we didn't hear about them and never noticed anything not going perfectly according to plan. I wish that experience for every single couple because we will forever look back on our wedding day and remember the joy we felt for each other, and the love that surrounded us from all our family and friends. I will be recommending La Cosa Bella to all of my newly engaged friends!

I had the pleasure of meeting Gina and Stephanie with La Cosa Bella Events back in 2016 at a styled photoshoot. I was so impressed with Gina's attention to detail and event design, I knew immediately I wanted to hire her for my own wedding. My husband and I decided we wanted a destination wedding and Gina spent countless hours finding the perfect location in Puerto Rico. Unfortunately due to damage from Hurricane Maria, the venue was completed destroyed. When I received the news from the property, Gina was already on the phone with our 2nd choice location confirming availability. She worked her magic and got us the same weekend at another beautiful property in the Bahamas! I had so much fun working with Gina on all the big and small details for the wedding. She tirelessly vetted all vendors, worked through the many unknowns of the island, and produced a truly unforgettable event for our families. Having Gina by my side throughout the wedding planning process was the best investment we made. I highly recommend La Cosa Bella Events. Gina is first class!

For any bride searching for the perfect fit to understand, plan, organize and execute your dream day, you must look no further! I had Gina as my planner and I don't know where to begin to let the world know how absolutely wonderful she is. From our biggest wishes for our big day, all the way down to tiny little details, she had them covered and perfected. Gina truly cares about each and every bride that she works with and works around the clock to ensure that bride has her dream wedding. I know for a fact that my gorgeous dream wedding wouldn't have come to life without her. She took away SO much stress and provided us with organized options, a superb list of vendors that we were also greatly pleased with, and wouldn't allow choices to be made unless she knew without a doubt that we absolutly LOVED it! While the days leading up to the big day were carefully handled by Gina, when the big day finally came her staff were all just as wonderful as her! Professional, polite, and eager to get to work on all of our details to make our day perfect! It really hit me at the moment I was sitting at our sweetheart table with my husband, overlooking all of our family, friends and loved ones, surrounded by what seemed like a fairy tale, the day that I had dreamed of since I was little a girl had come true right before my eyes. My daughter just got married at the Carolina Inn. It was a fusion wedding celebrated for two days with a lengthy time line to include every ritual. GINA MEYERS our wedding planner made everything perfect. Gina is everything you could possibly want or need in a wedding planner. She is full of energy, ideas and has a great personality. She was easy to work with and always very organized and kept me on my toes. Month before the wedding I started to stress and Gina said "just let me handle it" and she did. I enjoyed every moment of the Indian wedding and American wedding. Gina made it possible to make the wedding celebration a dream come true. My daughter and I left our very first meeting with Gina feeling good and that we are in good hands. Gina was the best and she exceeded our expectations through the whole experience! Gina works very well with all vendors. You want something happen or done she will make sure it is done. We had a Barat Horse, Carriage, and even a Tar heel blue Cadillac. Gina is reasonable, professional, caring person. I can't say enough but a big THANK YOU for making it the best and a memorable weekend.

I worked with Stephanie as my "month-of" coordinator and could not have been happier. She had so many helpful tips and ideas (one reason being that she is also a wedding photographer, she has a great eye for things!) When our Rain Plan had to be put into place, she was an absolute life-saver -- I could not have done it without her! She provided day-of timelines to our wedding party and parents, and was at our venue all afternoon and evening (until the end of the reception) making sure everything went perfectly, and it did. One of the pieces of advice I received just after getting engaged was "Get yourself a wedding planner!" and the people who told me that were not wrong. Stephanie truly put me at ease and took so many last-minute items off my plate that would've been such a hassle to deal with myself. I was able to relax and enjoy the day because I knew she was taking care of everything. You won't be disappointed! Highly recommend.

My daughter and I knew the minute we met Gina and Stephanie at the Carolina Inn bridal showcase, that La Cosa Bella Events was the team for us!! With Gina's infectious smile, high energy and enthusiasm we could see and feel her passion for planning!! An extra bonus was her stunning table scape that perfectly matched our vision! From day one La Cosa Bella was extremely organized, constantly communicating with us via emails, texts and phone calls working to set our goals and visions for our day! Throughout the process Gina was very creative, constantly suggesting ideas and special touches that would set us apart from any other weddings held at the Inn. Gina was ON IT and did an amazing job representing us with all contacts and vendors!! The day of she was our ROCK!!!! She had our backs the ENTIRE time making things happen when some didn't seem possible!! As a mom I can't thank Gina enough for holding others accountable for what was promised and seeing it through!! I would only say to use Gina from day 1. Get engaged, call Gina. My son and daughter in law really valued working with Gina. I think they found it hard to be honest with me, but they could be completely honest with Gina. She worked to mediate any differences in opinion, and she was very good at quickly assessing their tastes and making appropriate recommendations. Weddings are stressful, and Gina's always sunny and helpful demeanor made her such a comforting presence when things weren't going well. She was invaluable in helping to locate all the different vendors needed -- catering, venue, cake baker, soloist, DJ, photographer, makeup artist, transportation. Unless you're in the event planning business, you just don't know who to turn to for those different and varied needs. My favorite example of her helpfulness was the day that I had a major fall out with the reception venue. I ended up having to cancel the contract. She jumped on the phone immediately and got me an appointment with another venue within an hour. All of this just a month before the wedding! I can't say enough good things. Book her!

If you want a wedding planner who exceeds even the pickiest bride's expectations, then look no further. Gina and her staff are AMAZING! My husband and I worked with Gina for almost a year and she went above and beyond on many occasions. We were building a new house and we each had new jobs in addition to planning a wedding and we couldn't have done the wedding planning without Gina. She was literally there for us 24/7. We were very particular clients with a specific vision for our wedding and Gina brought that vision to life in a way that exceeded our expectations, which is difficult to do. It was more gorgeous than I could've ever imagined. The day also went flawlessly. Gina is very organized and she and her staff made it so that we didn't have to worry about or do anything the day of except have fun, which we did. Five stars isn't nearly enough. Gina at La Cosa Bella is beyond amazing! I had less involvement than my wife naturally, but I still felt compelled to write a review. We all worked together for the better part of a year putting together a wedding that was simply spectacular. She saved our sanity (or at least mine) on more than one occasion and exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. Every detail was planned meticulously and the team executed to perfection. Beyond that, Gina is a genuine pleasure to be around and work with. If you're looking for the best event planner Raleigh has to offer, look no further; Gina and the rest of the staff at La Cosa Bella are phenomenal, and we couldn't have done it with out them!

Gina was a pleasure to work with. As the Father of the Bride, I let my Wife and Daughter do the planning. Gina wanted us to see the newly redesigned venue at Rose Hill Plantation prior to the Reception. We walked into the Reception and I was Speechless. Gina did a beautiful job creating an elegant Art Deco look for my daughter's reception at The Grand Ballroom in the Historic Capital Club Building in downtown Raleigh. It was even more beautiful than I expected! Her contacts with vendors were invaluable, from flowers to photography to decor to catering and beer/wine, she connected us with all the right people to make the wedding a beautiful and memorable event! Gina has been involved with the planning of this charity fundraising event since we first opened. She is planning our 5th annual event right now. Her creativity is amazing. She is very organized and is able to pull off this 500+ person in attendance event year after year with ease. She keeps our event fresh and always pushes new ideas to keep the event interesting to our attendees. From the very first meeting, we clicked with Gina. When you spend time with Gina, you know that she loves weddings and her brides. She is a great listener and spent time getting to know my daughter and her style (which was developing as we went a long). She worked diligently to take my daughter’s ideas, likes and dislikes and create a total vision for the wedding and reception.

Her guidance in selecting the venue and vendors was invaluable. She went to all our appointments with us, asked questions that we would never have thought to ask and after the appointment, we discussed how it would fit with our vision and budget. She worked up comparisons to help us make the best decisions and always kept an eye on the budget.

She helped us stay on track to ensure everything was done on a timely basis and there was no time crunch as the wedding date got closer – her timeline is a work of art! She ensured there were no loose ends, the vendors knew where to be, when, what to do and what to say.

My daughter has said her wedding day was perfect and wants to do it all over again! And I thank Gina for that.

Lastly, Gina met my husband’s one criteria - to ensure I, the Mother of the Bride, had nothing to worry about on the wedding day so I could enjoy it, too. Mission Accomplished!

Gina was the best wedding planner I could have ever dreamed of. She was always there for any question and brought so many great ideas to the wedding. She and I talked almost every day for a year. I had a lot going on between moving and photographing wedding myself. She kept me up to date when things should be paid, vendors picked, or discussions made. She's someone I consider a great friend after this experience. When ever I needed anything she had an answer and if she didn't she would research to find an answer. Gina of La Cosa Bella Events was great to work with as our day-of-coordinator for our recent wedding at Duke Chapel and Washington Duke Inn! We initially found her while browsing WeddingWire and found her to be the most cost-effective day-of-coordinator we could find, and then to be extremely sweet on our initial phone conversation, leading us to quickly select her and sign the contract. We live out of the state (6 hours away) so it was important to us to have someone willing to communicate mainly by email and phone. The best thing about Gina was that she was not just a "day-of" coordinator, but was willing to start helping us with the planning process months out. My fiance and I already had our vendors secured by the time we started working with Gina, and she had us send her all of our contracts and all of the little details that started to accumulate quickly, and then she reached out to all of our vendors and became the point-of-contact as the day started getting closer. A month prior, when I was starting to feel very overwhelmed at making the timeline, I received an extremely detailed, multi-page timeline from Gina that covered every detail (including many that I never would have thought of), and then from there everything fell perfectly into place. The best part about Gina is that she is very gentle when asking for things, but also efficient in helping you prioritize what really needs to be done by a certain time and what can be left for later. On our wedding day, our families all commented on how sweet, nice, efficient, and helpful Gina was from start to finish. She kept everything moving and on time, made sure everyone was where they needed to be, and truly made it "our" day where we didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. She showed up hours before the ceremony start for setup and was there to the very end, helping bring everything from the reception up to our room at midnight. Would highly recommend her as a day-of coordinator to all brides!

Gina is the most gracious and professional planner/director you will ever meet. Our wedding was beyond our expectations because of her foresite and experience. She gets to know her bride, mother & bridal party. She looks out for them in every way possible. When something goes wrong she will ease your mind, help you to focus on the fact things will be ok, she remains calm and helps resolve the problem. She thought of things we never would have. She gave us check off lists when we needed them, if we were not sure about something she would get an answer for us. When we may not realize something will cost as much as we anticipate (flowers), she knows when to help you reach that realization. They helped us plan ahead and stay on top of the little things that will drive you crazy. We felt like Gina was part of the family. She was interested in what we wanted and when things happened that disappointed us, she was always there with suggestions that made it even better than before. She will go obove & beyond to make your event special. I told her I would go to any bridal show to tell everyone what a fantastic job she did for us and I would. The event is over. But we still consider her part of the family, because our memories will live on for a long time. If you truly want a fantastic event, Gina ( La Cosa Bella Events) is who you want, no one else!!!

Throughout my 15 months of working with Gina, I called her my "Wedding Goddess" - a very well earned nickname. She is thoughtful, meticulous, gracious, honest, patient, and extremely well-connected. Through Gina, I was able to work with the best vendors in every category. As a Bride, I could not have asked for a better planner to work with... Gina has the amazing ability to inspire those around her. My wedding weekend was enjoyed by me, my parents, my now husband, and all of our guests. Thanks to La Cosa Bella we had a fantastic wedding weekend for our daughter in early April at the Duke Chapel and the Washington Duke Inn. The weekend was the culmination of planning, care and attention to detail that is so important with only one opportunity to get it right. Mary and I did not worry about a single item that weekend which enabled us to enjoy the entire event.
Gina guided us in the process and shared her extraordinary experience with us in countless moments of decision and a few moments of crisis. Never anything but calm, she helped ensure the proper entertainment was selected and guided my daughter in the many decisions that were needed. Since my daughter was not residing in the Triangle area (and in fact went thru a move from Boston to Ohio in the process), Gina paid special attention to communicating, gently prodding for decisions and offering thoughtful opinions but always prioritizing the brides preference. Many times I heard her say, Kate, it is your day, we can make that happen.
In summary; knowledge, patience, kindness and above all else empathy is why I would strongly recommend La Cosa Bella to anyone considering this service. We are very satisfied and thankful our paths crossed.

Gina did an amazing job. Both myself and my daughter were not living in the area so Gina's expertise in helping us choose all our incredible vendors is more than words can say. If I could have, I would have given La Cosa Bella a 10 in every category. Gina is awesome and really takes your best interest to heart. She made sure all bases were covered and made sure it was "her" most memorable day. My bride was beautiful, stress-free, and confident. All because the important decisions were made early in the process and she knew that Gina had everything handled. Gina is now a part of the Hiatt family and we miss the stressful moments and meetings. Gina at La Cosa Bella Events is still fairly new to the Raleigh, NC market, but let me tell you, she is a gem. Work with her if you are looking for an event planner that will give everything she has to make your day just what you imagined. I contracted Gina as a "day of" coordinator and with other companies, that means that you really won't have much discussion with the planner until the few days before your event. Unlike the norm, Gina spoke with me on the phone, emailed, and met in person to see how things were going and what she could be helping with. As I mentioned before, Gina and her team really put everything they have into their work, and I had an awesome time working with her.

My daughter got engaged and decided to have her wedding in Clayton, NC. My home is 1 1/2 hours from there and I knew nothing of the area or wedding vendors there. I did not know where to begin the planning process. The Mother of the Groom suggested Gina Myers owner of La Cosa Bella events. It was as if God answered my prayers and sent me an angel to help plan my daughters wedding. She was everything to my daughter and I. She became one of my best friends during the process. The ceremony was held outside at a Bed and Breakfast in Clayton, NC and the reception was held in a tent beside it. We had to construct a tent 3/4 the size of a football field. We had 529 guests with a sit down dinner. Seems like an impossible task, but with Gina's help it went on without a hitch. It was the the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to and I was so proud of everything we chose with her help. I would highly recommend her! She spent the whole year of planning at our side: Numerous phone calls, e-mails, appointments with vendors and always with a smile on her face and a cheerful voice no matter what problem we might face! I am so thankful that I chose La Cosa events for my daughter's wedding! Thank you Gina!

Gina Myers is an amazing wedding planner and I would HIGHLY recommend her to any bride and family! Gina is extremely professional, thoughtful, knowledgeable, creative, detail-oriented, kind, and knows how to handle people.

When we first got engaged, she helped with setting up appointments to meet with vendors, kept all of our budget files and other information organized, and was very helpful in making larger decisions (not to mention EXTREMELY patient).

We could not have done everything we were able to accomplish without Gina's help. She always had a new idea, picture, perspective, etc as we were going through the planning process. She led all vendor meetings with such ease, grace and professionalism, and was an awesome mediator when making decisions.

During the rehearsal and on the wedding day, she took command of all who were involved with the ceremony, sent out a detailed timeline for the day and made sure everyone felt comfortable and understood their role. The ceremony started and ended perfectly on time and there wasn't a glitch throughout the whole day. The wedding party LOVED her and everyone kept complementing on how well the day flowed. After we returned from our honeymoon, Gina followed up with me and made sure we were completely satisfied with everything.

I feel so blessed that Gina was able to take part in helping with my BIG day and am thankful for all she did. You will walk away with a new friend and new found respect for planners after working with Gina Myers!

I could never express enough gratitude for the amount of care and diligence that Gina Myers showed us in planning our wedding. We honestly could not have ever done it without her. With all that goes into planning a wedding, there are so many things you forget to think about. Gina was on top of it. Even down to the final details and decorations. She has a very creative eye for your taste, and really takes the time to get to know you and your style. Everything she showed me I fell in love with. She was able to hear what I wanted and make it happen, no matter what.

I am pretty indecisive, especially when it comes to important decisions to be made for a wedding, but she was able to help me make decisions with ease and clarify anything I was confused about. She had a lot of patience for me and dedicated so much of her time!! It was a busy time for me - in graduate school, moving into a new house, and getting married! So there was a lot going on! She definitely kept my head above water more than a few times! She was on call whenever I needed her, even if it was a shoulder to cry on or talk to! I could never thank her enough!

I was glad to have her there for my wedding. She helped me organize a ceremony with a wedding party of 24! Everything was perfect! Organization was very important to me and she did it, even with 525 people in attendance! I couldn't be happier.

I would HIGHLY recommend Gina Myers. Her attention to detail was my favorite part, she had so many beautiful ideas. To see all of them come to life on my wedding day was MAGICAL. She also helped so much with finding our vendors. I have only been in one wedding before mine, so I really had absolutely no clue what I was doing. She booked appointments and had us set up every time we had meetings, we didn't have to worry about anything. With everything we picked out and every vendor we visited, she made sure I was completely happy and that to me was very comforting. La Cosa Bella Events is an awesome Wedding Planning Service in the RDU Area. I was highly pleased with her work. The quality of service was top notch. Gina provided a high level of service from the beginning of our planning. She was on time to all appointments and even called to check on us before the appointment. She called to touch base with us after appointments regularly as well, to ensure we were pleased with the way things were going. Needless to say, she was responsive to all our concerns and wedding ideas. She respected our ideas and helped us to see how to push our event to that next level without throwing our budget out the window. In fact she helped us stick to our budget with all our vendors, while getting more for our money. Gina is very professional and she interacts with all the vendors without any extra stress. Through her we found several awesome vendors that helped make our wedding the way we envisioned. She makes it a priority to contact vendors well in advance and create a working relationship with them. This helped all our vendors on the day of. In fact on the day of, she made sure vendors knew not to bother my husband or myself. This was a huge relief! The team at La Cosa Bella Events provides an awesome value for these type of services! On the day of, Gina's team was great! We had a team member at the church, reception site, and one just to help the bridal party stay on time. In addition, we had her whole team at our reception ensuring that everything was just right, and every guest was taken care of. If you have a ton of ideas, Gina is definitely the planner for you. She works with you no matter where you are in the process. She helps get your ideas centered so that the event turns out just the way you envision. As I look back on our wedding, I am appreciative for all the work everyone put into it, but I know Gina's guidance and time really pulled it all together. Gina saved our wedding! After just one conversation I knew I could trust her to take on the incredible task of planning our wedding in just 16 days. She loves a challenge and will work day and night to make sure every detail of your wedding is perfect, all with a great attitude. She was available to us any time of day by email, phone, or text and always worked around our schedules to plan meetings. She kept us informed of every contact she made with our vendors and got all of our questions answered while we worked full-time jobs. Though she has a family and other clients, we loved that she was completely focused on us every time we talked to her. We felt like she knew us well after our first meeting and she was able to truly put pieces of us into every detail. Many people have told me that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and I whole-heartedly agree! I only wish I had hired her from the beginning!

Gina is an angel in wedding designer clothing. Honestly. I came to Gina with a rather daunting task: to design a beautiful, warm, intimate, vintage-inspired wedding with a touch of island flavor… long-distance…on the cheap. I had great trepidations about utilizing the services of a wedding designer for fear that we might feel left out of our own wedding, or worse, feel pressured into paying for things we really didn’t want or need.
All I can say is that my hesitations immediately disappeared after my first conversations with Gina. She was interested in US: how we met, what was special to us, what we liked to do together …She asked a lot of questions, and she truly listened to what we had to say about our likes and dislikes. I came to her with a very specific menu (complete with recipes), and she did not give up until she found someone who was willing to prepare exactly what we wanted at an incredibly reasonable cost. Each time we approached Gina with a new idea or a change, she gave great consideration and energy to understanding what we really wanted prior to executing a plan, and then she shifted her attention to investigating the desired changes. Her objectivity was flawless, and she provided us with a realistic picture of the results while still acknowledging the emotional aspects of our choices. Throughout the process, Gina has respected my opinion about the various costs involved, and has never complained about working within our constraints. She doesn’t speak ‘no’, and she works tirelessly for solutions that create a win-win situation for everyone.
As our wedding day approached, we felt relaxed, confident and stress-free, knowing that, 3,000 miles away, Gina had dotted every “i” and crossed every “t”. She checked-in with us regularly before and after arriving to North Carolina, and she gave me updates on a more frequent basis as the day arrived. The event came off without a hitch (well, aside from GETTING hitched!!!), and it was GORGEOUS, FUN, DRAMA-FREE and EXACTLY WHAT I HAD DREAMED OF.
I highly recommend Gina and cannot thank her (and my lucky stars) enough for making our wedding into a most beautiful and memorable day.

Gina Myers with La Cosa Bella Events was the wedding planner for our son's wedding, and she did a fabulous job. She was always professional and carefully considered every detail of the planning process. She really went to bat for us in resolving an unexpected issue when our reception location double booked our event location, through no fault of our own. Gina was able to get us an alternate location that was great, and resolved that difficult situation promptly and effectively. She was always upbeat and encouraging. Gina and her staff made my daughter's Bat Mitzvah something that our entire family can look back on with wonderful memories. I didn't have to do anything! Gina is an incredible woman. I thought I was doing fine with my wedding planning until I hired her. My entire wedding would have been a failure if she didn't step in when she did. She was very thorough and very flexible. Every morning she sent me an email with stuff she has been working on and how I can contact her. She stayed in contact with all my vendors so I didn't have to, and even found the flowers that my florist said they couldn't get! She loves to do lists and tries to make the load on the bride as light as possible. Great price. I really should have hired her from day one! Great planner! Must have for any bride.
